Negative experience: Avoid this gym at all costs. All the men stare at you - including the owner, the equipment is terrible. This gym is more like a predatory den than a fitness place. Stay away!

Fantastic experience: I've recently joined Plus Fitness and I really enjoy the gym. The members are diverse plenty my age (60) and it is a respectful place people generally put their weights away and I absolutely love the music as I don't have my own lol! The equipment is really good and there is space to set up in and around the easy to use squat racks.

Negative experience: walked past the staffroom and it REAKED of rubbish, the bathrooms were so unhygienic. the new workers don't know how to do basic cleaning which is so important for a gym. the regular worker there (kiara) keeps it all clean and nice.

Fantastic experience: Very good place, machines and weights are clean as well as the gym. Staff are very nice especially Kiara! I recommend going here if you are interested in the gym.

Negative experience: Many pieces of broken equipment; the bathrooms are filthy all day long. I never saw them clean. Kids hang around the equipment in groups, in school uniforms, and none of them wipe down the equipment. Very small area for stretching in the small gym; poor conditions.

Fantastic experience: Plus Fitness Engadine is by far the best gym in Australia. 6 years ago this month I joined Plus Fitness Engadine and by it’s the best gym ever. Katie and the staff do an amazing job running this gym. All equipment is always working in great order and the renovations done this year have been amazing can’t wait to see what the next 6 years and more brings.

Positive experience: Someone forgot they left the temperature on heating, which made it uncomfortable whilst exercising this morning. Was also unstaffed, so weren't able to get it rectified. New layout gives the gym a bit more space.

Negative experience: Reading all the one star reviews that are in the same situations, I'm not surprised Last year i had a surgery on my wrist for a removal of a painful ganglion, during my time at 'Plus Fitness 24/7 Engadine' it had resurface and became very painfully again. I called up to cancel my membership and i spoke to a really nice lady, she said it was fine to cancel over the phone and not to worry. Months later i get seeming to be threatening email from 'ARMA group'. In this email it reads " Failure to make payment may result in a credit default being listed against your name. This could have a significant impact on your creditworthiness and your ability to acquire credit in the future.". As I'm very confused to this email, i call them up and speak to ARMA over the phone, they said you have failed to make payments to Plus fitness 24/7 Engadine. Confused i ring up Plus fitness and they said that there was no cancel of a gym membership and they can do nothing to help me in this matter. Im am so disappointed and feel as if I am being robbed as i did not attend the gym because i had a bad injury, did cancel my membership and even bought a doctor certificate to prove my injury, but apparently "didn't receive it". Do better!

Negative experience: Terrible experience finding out they have continued to deduct mine and my husbands money costing us over $8000 since we cancelled after moving out of the area and the gym not having wheelchair accessible facilities. Funds had come out of Amy husbands account dedicated to savings and they have refused to refund us even though we have shown evidence of cancelling. Be very careful with this business - make sure you double check anything you do with them.

Negative experience: Keep getting calls from a debt collector for this place despite never actually visiting or having a membership here, I also live in western Australia .

Negative experience: I moved house last year and called to cancel my month to month membership as I was unable to come into the gym and everything seemed to be fine. Then in June/ July I receive a call telling me i owe money for a membership that as far as I knew was cancelled. In the end because their staff member didnt log the call, I’m liable to pay. They say they document all the calls and such and that there was no call documented last year. Even when I asked to prove that I had made a call last year by handing over call logs they said it wouldn’t make a difference because they didn’t have it documented that a call took place. End result :because their staff member failed to document something . And because their staff member didn’t follow procedure by telling me it was okay in the first place (when their procedure states it can’t be done over the phone), I have to now pay for that persons mistake. Thankyou to whichever Arse that was! because I’m currently 8 1/2 months pregnant and unable to make rent these days as it is. And Thankyou to plus fitness engadine who didn’t give a toss that their staff member had stuffed up and put it all on me anyway. Way to fix the problem. Honestly not impressed. You make a mistake, you should fix it. Not be like “sorry we said we’d do something we can’t do... but now a year later you have to pay for that. Merry Christmas” Own your mistakes

Plus Fitness Engadine has all of the machines and weights you could want, always a nice and friendly atmosphere and the staff make sure it is kept clean and all of the equipment is in its place. The staff are always so easy to speak to. Needed to put my membership on hold for 3 months travel, and they were more than willing to do this for me, just had to pop in and sign a form. Have been going here for years... Highly recommend
