Positive experience: One of the best Gyms in the area, has a great vibe with friendly staff. Always willing to help and greet you on the way in and out. The equipment / machines are fantastic with plenty available. The aircon on hot days works a treat. Highly recommended. Won't be changing anytime soon.

Positive experience: Big, with lots of equipment, but always rammed I've visited two different REVOs (Mentone & Noble Park) multiple times, at different times of the day, like a detective checking the attendance volumes, and without fail, even during the small hours, at least 50 of my closest gym friends would be there, sweating onto the machines and having a grand ol' time. If you have enough dog in you to fight for the machines you can... SURVIVE!

Negative experience: Too many people, can’t find any spot sometimes , specially afternoon , young people just turning around and doing nothing just talking and doing green behaviours, not a good gym for enjoying a time and focusing on your activities, they just keep getting members without thinking of capacity of their space and equipment, poor management to clean up toilets on regular basis and young people have not been educated to clean the area, they leave the weights over their own area and you need keep chasing those things.

Fantastic experience: Layout and equipment is mint. Space for calisthenics and stretching. 24/7 access

Fantastic experience: I went to several gyms such as south pacific, mentone, genesis dandenong. Revo has been the best one! Although there is no sauna/steam room, it is the best in terms of space, price and types of people that use the facility. Gym is big, clean and it has hiit training you can do anytime. Access to gym is done by mobile app. So this point is also good. I recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic experience: The gym has an impressive range of equipments, from treadmills to all other machines and weights. The atmosphere is very positive and energizing and this gym attracts a diverse crowds from beginners like me to experienced lifters. The staff's are fantastic especially James and Jan. They are always friendly and willing to help. I'm really happy with my experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for well-rounder fitness center.

Positive experience: An excellent facilities gym but theres something about big,bulky idiots who look like theyre on steriods always taking your equipment whilst your using it. Today was the 4th time its happened again, some bloke who seemed to target me only(might have something to do with my skin color) And it gets infuriating every single time they do it mid-exercise. Other than the staff at mentone are some of the best ive come across. James and the blackhaired girl who always wears a black coat (sorry i forgot her name,she was there today morning) they make visiting the gym a very worthwhile experience. Thank you RFM

Positive experience: The gym is very large with high ceiling , and the prices are reasonable. However, it is often very crowded, especially during peak hours(16 to 19). Also, it lacks a few machines like the Captain’s Chair and Abdominal machine.staff are so friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience for a gym. Such a welcoming team, Jen being there has really made the atmosphere great! So clean and such nice equipment! Love the facilities, highly recommend the gym to any ages looking at joining!

Fantastic experience: I’m very happy with the gym now, after Jennifer arrived we felt a huge difference. She’s always walking around, fixing and cleaning. Always receiving us with a big smile. That’s lovely! And bathrooms now are way much cleaner than before.

Negative experience: They try to shame you out of ending your membership - trying to force you to explain yourself - how about this for an explanation - it's my money, I'll spend it where I like and I don't need to explain myself

Negative experience: Men’s toilets are absolutely rank. Never look clean and covered in Shi! About half of the toilets are usually blocked….

Fantastic experience: Great value gym that doesn't skimp out on the quality. Well thought-out in its set up and size to accommodate all the equipment a modern gym needs. Air-conditioning struggles due to that size and warehouse structure no doubt, but otherwise hard to fault structurally. Members are generally more of the young and hungry to improve variety, which I enjoy/prefer. Perhaps a bit immature with some vaping and a little too much group flexing going on in the bathroom and gym floor from time to time, but otherwise respectful. You get some influencer types that slip through the cracks with their tripods too, but that's to be expected at a newer modern gym. Overall great equipment, vibes and value.

Positive experience: Great gym, friendly staffs although i have to agree with some of the comments below around the younger group who are okay when they just by themselves, but once their group are there they'd start to think they own the gym. They'd holding up machines by leaving their bags while they chit chatting somewhere else for good 10 minutes. And I agreed with some of the comments about the staffs just playing with their phone and not even greeting the customer.

Negative experience: Sat at the front desk for about 10 minutes at the Mentone gym on a Sunday with another 4 or 5 people who were waiting, no one to talk to even though we went during staffed hours... No way to contact anyone.... They may be cheap but they don't do any form of customer service or client attention... Good luck trying to get onto to someone for any reason they just make it difficult once you've signed up

Negative experience: Unfriendly staff, manager doesn’t follow up on assigning personal trainers, generally an unpleasant vibe. Good for anyone who knows their workout routine and just wants access to the equipment, unwelcoming to anyone else.

Positive experience: Not a bad gym.. you really do get what you pay for, pretty stock standard equipment.. very young crowd more interested in just mucking around. If they ever put up prices I'd leave.. but for everyday fitness and the current membership fees it does the job. Oh and if ANYONE can get the girl with the black hair at the front counter to at the very least crack a smile let alone talk without sounding put out..they should be given a years free membership.. what a kill joy when you walk in, even just taking your head away from your phone for 2 seconds to acknowledge someone when they walk in would be a start!!

Negative experience: Asked for suspension of account today at reception and the black haired worker (not sure of name but she worked on a Monday arvo 08/01) was so rude, grumpy, impolite, pouting all the time. Absolutely disgusting customer service and attitude. Idk what the hell she was doing as a receptionist. Not helpful at all. None of my question was answered. Kept asking me make sense or not impolitely and angrily. Absolutely needed to be reported!

Fantastic experience: My first gym I ever signed up to since day 1 I have been going and I love the variety of equipment, the huge size of the facility & most importantly the most friendly staff. Josh the store manager who I see on most days always greets you with a smile on his face and makes every gym experience so welcoming. I’ve since tried other gyms and nothing compares to Revo Mentone, highly recommended to a lot of my friends who I have convinced to change gyms or sign up.

Negative experience: Do not sign up with this gym, I was with this facility for 5 months and they’ve charged me for over a years membership and have been back and forth emailing their manager and they’ve now chosen to ignore me. Every month I was charged more and more (not the agreed $42.99) at times they’d take $100.00 - $210.00 at a time. Im not usually one to complain but I’m a full time student and don’t have the funds as it is and I signed up with Revo as I was insured it was affordable. They charged me 5 months worth just within 1 singular month and refuse to do anything about it and even after cancelling my membership they are continuing to try and charge me money. Not to mention I was supposed to receive 1 month free when referred by a friend which did not happen. Save yourselves the time and money I’m absolutely appalled by the service and lack of accountability.

Negative experience: bad gym, bad equipment, boring atmosphere, machines don’t even feel right on your joints.

Fantastic experience: Located at Kingston Central Plaza. 288 Centre Dandenong Road Moorabbin Airport VIC 3194. So technically, it’s not really at Mentone. Which is approximately 3 km South West of the gym.

Positive experience: Close to 2,000sqm spacious 24/7 gym. Good variety of cardio machines, free weights, machines, 10 squat racks, boxing bags and much more. No lockers. No hair dryers. Change rooms, showers, air-con, vending machine & water fountain available. Update 14/10/2024 Water fountain has been broken for weeks. Huge fans have been installed.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gym around and at an unbelievable weekly price also. Highly recommend.. Super clean and the equipment here is world class.

Negative experience: Last few years I tried few gyms in my area and although this one is only few mins from my house I will never go back to it! They manage it like fast food franchise, The website offer one month free, which I never got. They said I have to pay for the first 2 months and just the 3rd month is for free but still charge money nonstop, Even after I cancelled the membership they still tried to charge money, Lucky I was smart enough to call my bank and block them....When you try to talk to the employee there, Her reply is that it's not her fault and she can't do anything. There is no one to talk to over the phone. Cancellation of membership is done online but then they tell you to go into the gym. An disgraceful approach to customer service! Do your self a favor and STAY AWAY

Positive experience: massive gym, all new, hopefully stays like that, parking a nightmare in peak times and also mega busy in peak times also

Negative experience: People show up in their work boots and high vis etc and no towel either, like seriously???

Positive experience: Great gym , very modern and plenty of room. Sadly the parking on weekends is a complete nightmare due to the DFO next door. Odd location for a gym. Furthermore, its incredibly busy from around from around 5pm. I literally didn't see one free machine when i was there tonight.

Fantastic experience: A fairly new gym at 3 months old at the time of this review. And a spacious one at that at over 2000sqm. Price wise is one of the more affordable and flexible gyms out there on the market that caters affordability and flexibility. Something of which I am very grateful for. This gym boasts a huge amount of facilities with 14 squat racks ( 10 of them dedicated ones) And while it is super busy on most days, everyone gets their turn on using the equipment. 2 major issues with this gym that affects the rating are staff culture and general maintenance. I have been to a variety of different gyms across the country and this one rates below average on staff culture. Very unfriendly and no effort made in connecting with customers. Not even a simple hello or goodbye greeting. I have even observed some customers being spoken to in a rude and arrogant manner. This may be a small element for some whose intention is to work out but for others...attitude specifies a lot on how a gym is maintained which brings us to the topic. The bathrooms are appalling at such a short tenure of operation. Soap dispensers unfilled and waste baskets full to the brim. I personally recommend a more frequent check and clean up where needed. In the end I would nevertheless recommend this gym if your main focus is to train whilst being on a low budget and definitely overlook the two development points noted above. These definitely do not require a large investment to rectify and if done appropriately would see this gym take off and shine. Update Dec 2023 It's now been 1 year since this gym has taken off and very happy to see the improvements made. The customer service has taken off very nicely and have some great people behind the counter. The new bins introduced are also very easy to dispose trash. Hats off to Jen and team for managing the gym. Update 14/10/24 Almost 2 years at this gym and very happy with the management. James who is a new addition to the team is a fine man. Very hardworking and engaging to the members. When he is not with the members he's lurking around cleaning gym and ensuring everything is in top order. Cheers James. Update 9/11/24 Spotted James being meticulous in his work up keeping the gym.. had to take a pic as evidence of his hard labour to maintain the gym in tip top shape.

Fantastic experience: I switched gyms to Revo for the 24 hour convenience and also because there is a better selection of equipment. There's a really good buzz here and everyone is friendly.

Negative experience: Equipment and facilities are ok, but the people dropping weights and people consistently accessing after hours without swipe tags ruin it.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! Not very busy and I can always find a spot. Love that it's 24hr! If you go in after midnight there's only about 10 people there.

Negative experience: Really wanted to give 0 stars but giving 2 stars for the nice gym facility, equipments and atmosphere. However I was treated poorly when i walked in on my first day there, a revo manager from NSW or something came up to me and just started shaming and shouted at me for using the wrong entrance and no towel, it was my first time going inside the gym so i just went through the first door i saw and i had no idea we had to use the scan door, what a start to a day.. The place also has no aircon and only a big fan which made it really hard to breathe on this 25 degree day.

Positive experience: Huge space, nice showers, great weight machines and nice space for functional training. The only downside that gym lacking air-conditioning and fans, it becomes very hot to train.

Fantastic experience: Good gym. New equipment, lots of equipment, spacious and tidy. Airflow is terrible though, aircon isn’t working - please fix it as soon as possible

Positive experience: Love the equipment in this gym and always machines/squat racks open cause of how many there are but it’s not designed for summer. Need AC in here because even if it’s only 24 this place is a sauna. Can’t imagine how it is on a 30+ day, so dangerous.
