Negative experience: lacks equipment. outdated gym equipment and will never upgrade I guess

Fantastic experience: From some who never liked exercising to now love coming to the gym and calling it my happy place! Thank you to all the amazing instructors at Fernwood Salisbury for making the classes so much fun and the positive energy that comes from you all when delivering the classes. The beautiful genuine motivation you give throughout all the classes is beyond amazing!

Fantastic experience: I am really enjoying the gym, especially because this is something just for me, having returned after a 10 year break. The exercises physiology (HALO), is particularly important with the specialist (Hayley), listening to my needs and showing a genuine interest in my progress. I am really enjoying the Yoga classes (first time), and today tried Balance (first time). Wow Balance is so great I was inspired to write this review to share with other women! The Reformer Pilates is really good too, again, first timer. Looking forward to my sessions as I am loving what I’m doing and where I’m training. Thank you to the owner - you make this place great.

Negative experience: Even if you have money in your account they'll charge you a late fee instantly and say you didn't have any (have proof on my bank statements that there was enough in assigned account), called them to solve it (during open hours) phones were off so i left a message and they never got back to me just took the money out my account days later (including the late fee). Shady, would never come here again.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for nearly 9 years. The staff and other ladies who attend are always welcoming and friendly. Fernwood Salisbury is my 2nd home and I highly recommend to all ladies.

Negative experience: Despite cancelling my membership, Fernwood Hollywood Plaza Salisbury Downs continued to charge me cancellation fees. I had one month membership there. The employees were unhelpful, and arrogant. Money hungry say no more ... Find somewhere better.

Negative experience: If I could, I would have given them zero stars. I signed a three-month membership at Fernwood Hollywood Plaza Salisbury Downs, but even when I called to cancel my membership, they continued to charge me $329.50. When I confronted them, they were disrespectful and unprofessional. I had to phone the head office by and they just told me that there was nothing they could do. Plus, they charged fees even after I cancelled. I wouldn't recommend anyone to join this gym as it is money thirsty and provides terrible service."

Fantastic experience: If I were to tell me 2 years ago that I'd be lifting weights and eventually get into training to becoming a Les Mills Body Pump instructor, she would've laughed at me. Being here has helped me discovered a part of myself that I never thought I would find ever. The team here has helped me ease into the gym floor and has become my second family. Their care for you shows, and there is never a dull moment during group sessions, self workouts and chatting with them. If it really was terrible I could've gone to another gym nearby. If you ever join Fernwood, I definitely encourage you to join a class! Any class! Say hello to the instructors and staff, make some noise and maybe go up the front if you're doing classes in the studio. It's done wonders for me and enhanced my experience in Fernwood and you lose nothing from it. Negative experience: Fernwood at Hollywood Plaza is one of a few female-only gym in South Australia , but my experience with their staff has consistently left me unimpressed. The biggest flaw lies not in their facilities or equipment, but rather in the demeanor of their personnel. Unfortunately, they seem to have assembled the rudest bunch of individuals imaginable. It's disheartening to encounter such discourtesy in a supposedly supportive environment. Despite the convenience of being a female-only establishment, the recurring negative interactions with the staff overshadow any potential benefits. For many women, including myself, the lack of alternative options may force us to resentfully continue patronising this gym. However, it's disheartening that Fernwood at Hollywood Plaza fails to prioritise fostering a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for its members.

Positive experience: I love the group classes ranging from Body Attack, Body Combat, Boot camp, Zumba and Body steps. The classes are well run by instructors who encourage you to put in your best.

Positive experience: very clean gym with good customer service.

Negative experience: st agnes fernwood staff are much nicer, some of the staff and trainers at salisbury gym are just mean.

Negative experience: Amazing that anything men want something to themselves, it's wromg. Women want things to themselves. No problem. I am so over double standards.

Positive experience: Loved the extra classes especially Zumba and body pump!

Fantastic experience: Best gym. It doesnt feel like a regular gym- it feels like a community. There are gyms closer to my house, but I'll travel the 30mins for THIS one. Great classes and facilities (including healthy snack kiosk and coffee) and childcare. Open 24/7.

Positive experience: All female, no pressure and no judgment. Clean and friendly atmosphere.

Negative experience: The manager was very rude, she thinks that she owns the place as you can see from her rude behaviour. The other staffs are good and friendly.

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome gym ️‍♀️ Super friendly staff and an encouraging atmosphere. Really positive place to work out.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for about four months so far and have really enjoyed the classes and equipment they have available. They've recently gotten new equipment which is awesome! The staff have been lovely and helpful whenever I wanted to book a class and having an app to see what classes are available and also another way to book has been great! Have no complaints! Love Fernwood!

Negative experience: Wouldn't go there as I go elsewhere and it is cheaper

Negative experience: As a male i felt objectified as my masculine physique out did all of the other womans physique, I also did not like that the woman would stare at me even though i was a men i identify as a female. With all of the equipment I maxed out with ease and staff and other people were staring at me in my grey sweatpants and my oversides wife beater

Fantastic experience: This is the most amazing gym i have ever been to and i have been to alot... the wonderful owner and her staff have created such a welcoming,inclusive,positive and fun and inspiring environment! I feel like this is my second family and have made some amazing friendships. Whenever i have had a stressful day at work...I go there and i have a laugh, have a great workout and come out feeling more positive. This is my Gym for Life ❤

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym everyone is friendly and helpful. The trainers are great and make the classes enjoyable. The cardio and weights area has all that you need. The shower facilities are fantastic - the provision of towels, shampoo and dryer and straightener goes above any other gym I have been too. There is a crèche too so great for the kids. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Wonderful gym. Everyone is so lovely - employees & members. My little one goes to the creche & loves it. Classes with Kris are a standout, always super fun & awesome workout.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Fitness Salisbury is a great place to work out. Im personally a fan of the group classes and have learnt so much. The desk staff are very friendly and always happy to have a chat. The personal trainer’s that run the classes are very knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions/ correct your form/ push you that little further. The overall feel of the gym is welcoming and the other members are nice and inviting. I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone that is looking to start working out or switching gyms.

Fantastic experience: I've been at member at Fernwood for only a few months, I love how there is no judgement, just smile. I love the classes and how easy it is to move around the gym. The trainers are amazing I can see a journey of self love and change ❤️ happening at Fernwood

Negative experience: It was a great place but the staff ruined at first they were nice and friendly but after signing they were extremely rude as they didn't care they didn't even apologize after the misunderstanding that happened this was the biggest waste of money don't waste your money and time here

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! The environment and atmosphere is so friendly and vibrant, I feel very safe when I am there. The staff at the front desk are such lovely women and help out wherever they can. The equipment works well and the gym is very clean, as well as the bathrooms and locker rooms. The hairdryers and straighteners are provided as well as a deodorant can in the bathroom, and many secure lockers. The large array of classes to choose from are great to learn from and workout in a fun environment with other women! Great job Fernwood Salisbury!

Fantastic experience: Best gym I have ever joined. The trainers are very supportive and the women are very friendly. Classes are the best and have such a variety to choose from. This gym has a real sense of community and I have never been (and stayed) so motivated. The team in the supervised play room are amazing too, especially leaving my baby for the first time we were both scared but they made him feel very welcomed. Now he only cries when we have to go home highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at multiple gyms over the years and I have gotten the best support from fernwood Salisbury. The owner and staff are wonderful people, they really support you in every situation and they make you feel welcomed and like family. It is the such a comfortable gym to be at. Supervised play is fantastic. There are heaps of options to attend classes and a variety of really good equipment.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Salisbury is such an amazing gym. I always feel welcomed by the staff even getting greeted at the door by name, the club is clean with updated equipment, all of the classes are included in the membership and the trainers are so welcoming. I’ve recently started using the supervised play for my 3 month old baby and he is so relaxed when I take him in and I feel confident leaving him with the girls. I highly recommend fernwood Salisbury to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable environment to exercise in.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team at Fernwood Salisbury , motivating Pt’s and instructors I’ve been a member of multiple gyms and feel extremely comfortable here ! Supervised play makes it easy for me to attend every day and I’m seeing results 3 months postpartum. So many options in classes whilst I was bouncing back , good equipment . Fernwood Salisbury has a friendly and supportive group of staff and qualified trainers to help you with all you fitness needs. A supervised play is available for you to leave your little ones to be supervised whilst you are participating in your workout.

Their range of classes is excellent with varied times, there’s something for everyone. They even have breakfast choices on offer, tea & coffee provisions & a microwave for you to use. Fantastic experience: Amazing women's only gym. Such friendly, lovely helpful staff, and a great creche service for the kids. Huge amount of equipment, heaps of classes, and a friendly atmosphere. Shower and toilet facilities are always clean and fresh. 100 percent love this gym, that's why I've been a member for many years xx

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Fernwood Salisbury for many years now. Over this time I have been an active participant in many of the classes which I love! I find the facilities clean and the staff incredibly friendly. I would recommend and do recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a fun, friendly and comfortable training environment.

Negative experience: Sorry to say but Fernwood Salisbury staff and equipment are both outdated!!! You pay double the price and get old equipment that is broken 99% of the time and when you report it they do nothing about it. Staff are nice when you sign up but after that, they are so rude. There is nothing at this gym that is worth paying the amount of money you do. Yeah, it's all female but seriously think about it before you waste your money on this gym.

Positive experience: I hope they will update some of their equipment one of them nearly to fall-off footstep, their straps for the equipments needed to replace them too worn out already you could see the threads are coming out. when it terms of the id tag too expensive to purchase you need to pay separately, so when you dont have id tag you cant come in. you are just allowed to go over when the staff is around. So far they have classes everyday except holidays.

Negative experience: Awful service. Only nice when your joining up but after that it's terrible. They even made my bedridden friend come into the gym to cancel her membership. She was in tears but still went in to cancel because she could no longer afford the payments.

Negative experience: Staff are incredibly rude! You’ could be at an all male gym being mocked at by spectating men and you’d still feel better than the treatment you get here. Dispicable. #name&shame a business is more than opening your doors! Fat loser boss needs to check herself.

Negative experience: Good equipment, terrible staff. High fees, small gym, will try to scam you into spending more money. If you try and make the most of the gym for the fee you're paying you won't be made welcome anymore. Terrible. Gym would be worth more stars without a complete new set of staff and promotion methods.

Negative experience: Don't bother investing your money into this gym. Go elsewhere, you'll thank me later.

Negative experience: The fees are expensive, the gym tiny and they are always trying to con you into spending more money. It's not a positive environment.
