Snap Fitness 24/7 Mulgrave-Waverley Gardens

Positive experience: The gym has solid equipment, perfect for getting in most of your workouts. If you hate waiting for machines, this is the place for you. It’s quiet, with plenty of free weights and machines, and there are usually only five to ten people around. If you’re local and looking to change up your routine or start a healthier lifestyle, this would be a great home gym. Highly recommend! The only downside is that some gym-goers don’t re-rack their weights, otherwise I’d easily give it five stars.

Positive experience: The Gym is okay for ppl who just wanna exercise regularly, a little bit weak on upper body strength training equipments imo. Otherwise it is a chill place and not crowded most of the time. Open 24/7 is a big plus. Signing up is easy and hassle free. I got an email confirmation of the contract, which is good. Upon cancellation, I have questions about the extra 30 days fee. I stated that I am moving out of the area in a month, hence giving the gym 30 days notice. Ask if I can set my contract end in a month hence I can still use the gym in the meanwhile. The gym told me if I wanna cancel it in a month, I have to come back in a month to do the paperwork because when you cancel, you have to cancel on the spot. Hence I just paid that cancellation fee and the extra 30 days fee and return the gym access card. Feel robbed got charged that extra 30 days fee for nothing. I went home and checked the contract, it actually states that I have access to the gym 30 days after the cancellation. It would have justified the 30 days bill. I don't think I need to come back in 30 days to cancel if I wanna keep my gym access til then as per the contract. The gym didn't say a thing as I return the access card. ----- In short, the gym overall is ok for entry level gym ppl; open 24/7 and not crowed is a great plus. Ask to read the contract before signing up and read it yourself instead of relying on staff members to explain it. And bro you still haven't sent me the confirmation of cancellation email as you promised on that day. Contract screenshot attached.

Negative experience: Worthy to bring these guys up to consumer rights victoria. Signed a contract for 12 months ending 3rd of July, I have submitted 1 month notice of cancellation on 3rd of june, as per contract on my hand. But then I was being told today i need to continue the contract until 3rd of August as notice needs to be start from end of contract. This is genuine unethical business, they advertised the contract is for 12 months but in fact needs to be continued for 13 months at least. Worst is I was being told on 3rd of June by the manager in person this will be cancelled on 3rd of July thereafter but then being called today saying they cant charge my card ( very bad attitude by asking for money directly without stating its reason in the first place ). Shame on those guys and I will get this reported. Obviously lack of communication between team members too.

Negative experience: Watch Out: Cancelling Snap Fitness Waverley Gardens Membership is a Hassle! So, here's the deal with Snap Fitness at Waverley Gardens: signing up? Easy peasy. But when it comes to cancelling? Good luck! It's like they've made it their mission to make it as tough as possible. First off, if you're a newbie needing a bit of a helping hand to get started, don't hold your breath for support. And the manager? Let's just say his attitude could use a serious upgrade. Not exactly winning any awards for customer service. Let me tell you about this ridiculous situation with my son. Had to get two memberships just so I could be with him after hours because he was under 15. Now he's old enough to go solo, but trying to cancel mine? Might as well be banging my head against a wall. Been trying since December, and still no luck. Long story short, while Snap Fitness might seem all shiny and convenient at first, cancelling is like trying to break out of a straightjacket. Think twice before jumping in, especially if you might need to make changes later on. 7/3/2024 - Week gone still on the process cancellation our memberships. - Nine emails has been sent back and forth still trying over charge me with cancellation fees. -What's worse is that because I left a review on Google, the owner called me and threatened me instead of helping me with my cancellation. That's not cool. - If anyone else goes through this, please think about reporting it to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to help stop others from getting scammed. Let's all work together to keep things fair and make sure businesses are honest. Updated on 19/06/2024 Updating my review just after the owner's reply. Please check the screenshots so you can see how much they lie and how dishonest they are. How hard they make you cancel your membership. Be very careful if you are planning to sign up; cancellation will be a nightmare. Now who is lying here

Fantastic experience: No longer a member here, but during my times at Snap Fitness it was really good. I have been a member here twice. The second time around, the equipment had been upgraded with new squat racks and new machines. Renovations had been done, and everything looked fresh. This is recent, so everything looks new. Lee the manager is very friendly and helpful. It is a convenient gym as it's within a shopping centre, so I could always grab groceries after going to the gym. Highly recommend :)

Negative experience: Rip off. Was told I could cancel my membership after three months. When I went to cancel after three months, the manager said I have been locked in for 12months and had to pay the difference. Felt cheated, especially after explaining the financial crunch being the reason. Beware of such corporate chains.

Fantastic experience: I am converted !! It has taken many years of joining gyms, but since becoming a member of Snap Fitness Waverley Gardens I have been really motivated to improve my overall health and fitness. I love the group classes which are offered in the mornings - the PTs, Dan, Sarah and Kelley and the other members make it fun to get up at 5.30am!! I also enjoy the Personal Training sessions with Dan (although sometimes my happiness is not so obvious). Overall - great gym and thank you Katrina and staff for making it fun to exercise.

Fantastic experience: I been with snap fitness Waverly gardens since the first day of the opening its a family orientad gym clean organised and the staff it's very friendly starting from the front desk and finishing with the trainers for me it's like my second home i achieved few goals with the help of my first trainer Daniel the most important was the 8 week challenge without him I couldn't do it there's other 2 trainers they are amazing and very friendly and get u going to the limit and give u lots of motivation it's a good place to get fit and make more last longing friendship

Fantastic experience: I've been the proud owner of the a gym membership here for over two years and couldn't be happier. I've been a member of a few different gyms over the years and this by far is the best. Whenever I walk in I am always greeted with a smile and a chat and all the staff are extremely warm and helpful. This is also the cleanest gym I've ever used. I could not recommend this gym highly enough. Katrina does an incredible job at keeping the gym running maticulously at all times, huge congrats to her on her efforts!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to snap fitness Waverley garden for around 4 months. The morning classes are great and the trainers are very supportive and provide lots motivation to push further. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. Good hygiene is maintained and the cleaners visit few times a week and clean the place.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Snap WG for the last 2 years and I love it! It is great that it is open 24hrs a day - super convenient for shift work! All of the staff there work hard to make sure their members are happy and always make an effort to say hi and see how I'm going. I feel as though I'm part of a family there. Highly recommend it if you like working out in a friendly and supportive environment!
