Club Lime Mitchell

Positive experience: Good space and equipment. And a pretty good vibe overall. But what ever happened to “no towel, no workout”? I’ve never seen anyone but myself have a proper towel there (occasionally I see a tea/hand towel). And there are soooo many sweaty, hairy-backed gym-junkies who leave their sweat all over the benches etc. I’m sick of having to wipe their sweat off before I use a piece of equipment. The staff need to enforce it.

Fantastic experience: I like using the treadmills, it has a good views. It is located in front of a tram station, it makes easier to go there

Negative experience: The worst experience ever.

Negative experience: Cancelling my membership as I'm getting a better deal elsewhere. The earliest date they will cancel my membership is 9th of April. Ridiculous time frame in this digital day and age. Would of expected a better exiting experience given my membership is not locked in and only tied to the Mitchell gym, but there you go.

Positive experience: Some of my favourite machine has been removed after renovating so sad…

Fantastic experience: Wow! What an amazing gym! I have been in heaps of club lime gyms but I fall in love with this. It’s really clean, open 24/7, the machines are all new, there is everything you need to train and more, even the bathrooms are so clean, I like the other area with multi power machines. Absolutely amazing !

Negative experience: Biggest scammers. They called me when i freezed my card and the. Keep on debiting my account.on asking again they came up with free offers. A total scammer. Make sure when you cancel , you cancel it full and immediately. Worst gym.

Negative experience: Choking smell of sweat if you going there on weekends, especially in summer...I can't breathe. Bad ventilation system, old equipments. One star gives to equipment variety.

Fantastic experience: Good location, pretty clean but old equipment and some of it needs better maintenance (oiling, replacement of gross rubber handles that are falling off, pads are falling off ham curl etc). Has what you need which is great but could do with a refurb to match some of the better CL’s in the area. *edited as Mitchell has since had a massive refurb - new equipment, paint and atmosphere. Amazing job improving the gym and quality of equipment.

Negative experience: SCAM

Negative experience: Don't join when you see they say it's free for a few weeks If you join, cancel immediately and they will still charge you for a week. This is forced consumption in disguise. I only went once in three weeks and didn't have time to go so I canceled If you are afraid of other people's experience, please don't push this kind of advertisement

Negative experience: I've been charged from this club that I have never been in my life I physically can't and they are charging me for the last 2 years. The equipment might be good but I wouldn't trust the accounting It's better to use coin go there and throw it in their face.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym with all required equipment that is well maintained

Positive experience: Great gym in a good location, just needs more parking spaces for times when it's crowded

Negative experience: I have been trying to call this gym in order to pay my bill and they have not answered my calls for at least 2 months and have charged me over $200 in fees do not recommend. the staff ignore the calls so they get more money pathetic

Positive experience: Equipment fine, could be cleaner. Main problem is the ghastly music playing loudly. You really need noise cancelling headphones to stay in here

Negative experience: Equipment is great. Facilities are average. The entrance is rubbish; it's exposed to elements despite 2 other covered entrances available, and it's NOT accessibility friendly at all contrary to what they advertise on Google - refer to images. Parking is utterly woeful. Customer service leaves A LOT to be desired in terms of timeliness, quality, and resolution. Compared to Fitness First in Canberra City, this gym has been a revolting, overpriced experience.

Fantastic experience: I always like Club Lime gyms. The Mitchell place is awesome as it is a 24hr gym. You don't have to worry about it closing down if you get there late. It was clean, and the facilities are modern, and have everything that I needed.

Fantastic experience: Just got All new treadmills recently. Has most things you need and good shower rooms. Can be busy but I go at 4am which is a good time to avoid that.

Negative experience: As it stands Club Lime Mitchell is a very poor excuse for a gym. Whenever I frequent this gym it is always so filthy, I always find equipment sprawled out all over the place and almost all the equipment is damaged in some way, I don't think that I have been here once where something wasn't under repair or completely broken. I understand that this isn't a particularly large gym and isn't considered a priority, and I am also aware that it's not to be expected that you will have access to equipment that would be available in much larger gyms but in all seriousness how can you even call yourself a gym when you don't even have a hack squat machine or a lying leg curl machine. Management really needs to start taking the initiative to make changes before things get to the state of disrepair; and something really needs to be done about the layout of this gym as the floor space is extremely under utilized, with a few simple changes I'm sure there would be a lot more space for more useful machines/equipment (hack squat/lying leg curl).

Positive experience: Fairly good range of equipment but it gets pretty busy in the evening.

Fantastic experience: Love Club Lime Mitchell. The equipment is fantastic, the classes are in abundance and it has been such an integral part to my healthy living lifestyle. With 24/7 access there is never an excuse to not work out.

Negative experience: Machines always broken or under maintenance for 6 months or more! I asked the staff many times for an ankle strap for the cables and they always said "it's broken" or "don't have one".... a year and a half later and they still don't have one! Good variety of equipment.. but staff unhelpful and don't ever say hello

Positive experience: I was signing up my son and found the staff extremely helpful. My son has since been a number of times and enjoyed the experience.
