Fantastic experience: We'd had enough of same ol' same ol' play centre birthday parties, so we decided to self cater a very large kids birthday (for 5 to 7 year olds) over a Sunday (lunch time) here. Keeping 100 plus parents and relatives, of all ages, entertained at a kids birthday party is half the battle. This was made so much easier by the staff on the day - they were nothing short of absolutely amazing! The highest levels of customer focused right to last minute, very helpful to us as adults, understanding of our needs, and, best of all, they kept the kids active, engaged and excited.

Negative experience: Child participated in KinderGym Program, my complaints to management were pushed aside. I raised my concerns about the running of the program, siblings (older and younger) attending and participating in classes without paying, especially around school holidays. Brought this up with them on two separate occasions, approximately 10 weeks apart. Management unfairly put blame on the coaches when they don't even support them properly. No signage, no reminders to parents before class of their own policies for all children's safety - due to this l ended up removing my child and we now attend another gym elsewhere where the coaches are better supported by management.

Positive experience: Excellent place for kids to enhance their gymnastic skills.

Fantastic experience: The best place for gymnastics in Penrith. My daughters love this place, the staff are great and very good with teaching and explaining the techniques to little kids.

Negative experience: It all starts well but soon you realise your input and concerns mean nothing. It's all about the money and not the kids happiness. They do the whole PR thing with the token customer service lines, but it's all fake.

Positive experience: Had a kids party, was disorganised and sink had food scraps from much earlier and was blocked.

Positive experience: We have attended the penrith YMCA for about 2 years and I love their fitness classes, they are so friendly and excepting and cater to your personal fitness needs. The children’s classes are all good too. Only bad experience we have had was with the parkour classes because they where not really teaching the children much and mainly just talking to each other while the children did what every they wanted. Other than that it has been a god experience

Positive experience: YMCA is great for the family. My daughter does gymnastics there. Most of the casual classes suffer thanks to the more advanced classes get to use most of the equipment before any others. Seating needs to be improved as watching your child can be very hard as the vision is blocked by equipment. Great for parties. Rock climbing and a gym there makes it a little better.

Fantastic experience: The Penrith YMCA is a top quality gym with qualified instructors for both children and adults. With personal training and group classes available for most fitness practices, you can't go wrong.

Fantastic experience: This is such a friendly place to go. The staff are brilliant and the group fitness classes, Powerhour in particulate are a perfect mix of exercises, sweet music and knowledgeable instructors who push you to your limit. Jaz, Lisa and Hayley do an amazing job.
