Fantastic experience: I've tried about six different "chain" gyms in the area. This non-chain gym is the cleanest, most organized, and friendliest gym by far. All equipment works, and nothing is pending "repair" as is often the case with many of the chain gyms. It's not packed to the armpits during peak hours, and they enforce rules about body odor and putting away equipment. Just signed up 2 weeks ago and still absolutely love it here.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved from an other local gym because of the good things I heard, best decision ever! 3 stories allowing for different styles of training in different areas, fantastic equipment and facilities and most importantly it is never crowded so I never have to wait for machines. All of these are improvements over my previous gym, for the exact same price! Would recommend to anyone of any fitness and age.

Fantastic experience: After a 7 year break from the gym I joined Ascend and I'm so happy I did. The premium membership is great for newbies and guides you through workouts and finding your way around the gym. It's never too busy and has a nice chilled vibe without any intimation. Great gym and I definitely recommend it

Through pregnancy and having little ones in the creche, it has been the most supportive and positive environment to train in, no matter what stage of your journey you're on. Fantastic experience: Such a great gym - affordable fees, creche for the kids so I can actually go, programs to follow and awesome help and guidance with each program. The staff are super enthusiastic with their advice and always happy to help you out. Other members are friendly and I never feel like I'm waiting for a machine, no matter what time I go, so can always get my workout done within an hour. Highly recommend giving Ascend a try if you're in the market for a new gym! Huge thanks to the Ascend team - I've never felt so confident or empowered in the gym as I do now.

Fantastic experience: BEST GYM EVER. Huge variety of equipment across three levels, so it never feels busy or crowded, even in peak hours. Such a fab community vibe, with the most supportive staff and PTs. Other gym-goers are always down for a chat, and love throwing out a cheeky compliment here and there (which is always appreciated). Truly my happy place, I could not recommend it more <3

Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of everything - how friendly the staff and other gym goers are, the array of equipment - but the serious draw card for me is the creche. Because of the creche sessions I've actually been consistent with attending a gym regularly for the first time in my entire life, and I'm surprisingly at my fittest now - at 29 with a 2 year old! Thank you to Andrew and all the other staff, you're all fantastic. Join this gym.

Fantastic experience: I joined Ascend Fitness earlier this year after getting sick of chain gyms I had been a member of for years and it was hands down the best decision I ever made. Staff are super friendly, there is so much gym space and unlike some of the other major gym chains, you can actually go to Ascend at a peak time and still get in a proper workout. I used to feel self conscious going to other gyms, but have never felt that way at Ascend. I look forward to going to the gym, and it helps that they have a large selection of machines and weights.

Fantastic experience: Do you like professional staff, equipment that isn't broken 24/7, helpful service, advice on what you're there for and fifty million other things that SHOULD be expected by gyms but are never met? Then this is the place for you! Prepare yourself to never battle school kids. You CAN access the equipment you need and superset as required! Warning ladies, you WILL be in a safe and respectful space. And parents - they actually LOOK AFTER your kids in creche. Safely! And are flexible when jerk kids sleep in or are sick, no stupid punishments for having bred. It's all in the cost. Yes indeedy my friends. This is the place to be not disappointed. Get on board. ascend to your fitness goals!

Fantastic experience: Best gym i have ever been to hands down. staff are super friendly and supportive. always happy to help if you’re stuck and don’t know how to use a machine. Andrew (owner) is so friendly and is always happy to help with any questions you have. the atmosphere is like no other gym with people supporting you and cheering you on. i would 100% recommend ascend to anyone!! pts are amazing too and always happy to help whether it be demonstrating a lift or how to use equipment.

Negative experience: Their members park cars in our apartment's visitor parking so our visitors don't find place for parking. Hence, visitors park cars to their places which they don't allow and put big posters on 4 sides of car which can't be removed easily. When visitors go there to complain they say it's not our problem. They want us to follow their rules but don't ask their members to follow others rules. Please note that the Car parked for 4 hours on afternoon from 1pm to 5 pm. It wasn't for 4 days. You referring another car. I use this platform to write a review because owner should know what's happening.

Fantastic experience: I've been to a few different gym's over the last few years (moving interstate a lot) and this gym is by far the best I've been part of. Great creche with lovely staff  - tick Very clean gym - tick Availability of equipment - tick Staff is friendly and helpful - tick Membership fees are great value - tick Classes on offer - tick Ascend fitness is big over 3 levels with lots of equipment. They offer a variety of classes and my favourite classes are the strength sessions run by Andrew and Josh which are all included in the gym fees, feels like Personal training! I've gained so much knowledge about lifting since I joined just over 3 months ago. Its a bit of a drive for me to Ascend considering I have a gym 3 mins away from my house but the trip is well worth it! Keep up the great work Ascend team ♥️

Fantastic experience: Ascend is more than just a great clean gym with lots of room and equipment - the staff and PTs are all lovely and helpful, the creche is awesome and the gym in general is a whole package. The best gym I've been to and would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Love the group fitness of a weeknight. I find it alot easier to motivate myself in a group and with some leading me then flogging it out solo. However if group fitness not your jam they have all the weights and cardio equipment you could need. Staff and other gym members are friendly so makes for a great vibe. If you are a mum with a kid/kids they offer a crèche and classes during the day time as well.

Negative experience: Client confidentiality is not a thing here, some of my highly confidential health info was told by one of their pts so someone else that then posted it on line rite under my name, they don't take any responsibility for anything that happens within the gym and they simply do not deliver on their promises from their advertising, they claim they put their members first but i can tell you they certainly do not, i would never recommend this gym after what i went through here
