Fantastic experience: This was by far and away the best pop-up Facebook suggestion I’ve ever had. I’ve been doing the online over 50s strength and fitness classes for the last four months and I am feeling fantastic because of it. I love that I can do the classes at home over Zoom, as I’m half an hour away from a gym, so it’s easy for me to get up and do them in the morning and saves me heaps of time. Rob, Mitch, Sarah and Emily are great and they make sure that you’re exercising correctly and not performing any moves in a way will cause injury. They’re also very good at adapting exercises when people need this as well. Rob works with you to set goals that are relevant to you and which help you achieve what you want. There’s a great online community group and Rob always posts lots of motivating and beneficial information that is relevant to my age group. I would highly recommend this group to anybody over 50. It’s helped enormously with getting back my spark post menopause and I’m now so much fitter and stronger.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of TBFT Gym for over 6 years where I train 3 nights a week. I thoroughly enjoy the programmed work outs and my Trainer Sarah is very knowledgeable and very supportive, having been in the industry for along time. She has a very good understands all body types including us over 50s. TBFT have always promoted that age is just a number and have always been totally focused on client's health ,fitness and wellbeing goals. I highly recommend TBFT gym to anyone who wants to improve their overall fitness and health.

Fantastic experience: Well, these blokes ( and Sarah) are great. No fuss, no special equipment, just live exercise programs that help you get on and do it with what you have available. That is great for me as I live way out bush, an hour from the nearest gym, so an hour’s workout would otherwise take me a half day round trip, (plus fuel and gym membership) which I often can’t do. However, despite all of the excuses under the sun, and much to my surprise, I have actually kept going with TBFT, and like it. It just works.

Fantastic experience: I have some mobility issues so don't have good balance or flexibility. After attending the zoom classes these have both improved greatly. Love the zoom classes.

Fantastic experience: With the short amount of time that I have been supported by TBFT I am feeling so much better in myself. My new habits are very much part of my daily routines now. With exercising close to nearly every day which is a mix of studio sessions with Sarah, online sessions with Mitch, walks in nature I can definitely feel the benefits in my muscle strength which has eased the pain in my knees and hips. This is a big win for me so far and I am feeling so much younger in myself. My eating habits have definitely changed where I am taking advice/suggestions on substitutes as well as the bulk of my dinner plates consists of leafy green & non starchy vegetables with palm sizes of meat(s). I believe that holistically with eating habits, exercise and mindfulness has enable me to lose 7kg so far. Couldn't be happier I cannot thank you, Sarah & Mitch enough! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with TBFT for over 4 yrs, starting with in gym training, then Online training (Zooming) due to Covid, back to in gym when “allowed”, and then totally Zooming due to moving away. Fantastic experience: I love going to total balance for my training , training there has been an amazing experience for me,it’s tailored to my age and I am now a very fit man approaching 60 and I am sure I could keep up with most 40 year olds. Training there now is a lifestyle for me not a chore I have trained mostly with Sarah who has been amazing helping me with my sciatica and shoulder injuries , I have a physical job so being strong and fit is very important to me . From the age of 30 I have trained in every gym in area also boxing and kickboxing gyms but at this stage I’m my life this the perfect place and wouldn’t want to train anywhere else It is also great for my mental health which I have struggled with over the years. I recommend anyone looking to improve their fitness and have a positive outlook on health, fitness and life this is the place to be ! Peter Bowden

Fantastic experience: Signed up with TBFT about a month ago and am loving it. I was looking for a way to increase my strength and flexibility without having to go to an actual gym, but with appropriate guidance and support. Rob has helped me to set up a program that suits my needs. The live Zoom workouts are great, I love the convenience of being able to do them in my own home with minimal equipment required, and that they are made for over 50s. The feedback and accountability built into the program helps to keep me motivated and on track for my goals.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for TBFT about 18 months ago because with every decade that passes, I’m finding it harder to do the things I used to. Just bending and balancing can start to become more difficult. I always seemed to find an excuse not to go to a gym. Too far? Raining? Too early? Too late? There’s no excuse when it’s a Zoom meeting in your own home. Perfect. You choose the session times that suits you plus they are extremely flexible when things go crazy in our lives. They simply fit you into another session. No fuss. Rob sends a personalised message every 4-week session block. It’s like you have a one-to-one trainer. They send out food and eating tips and challenges. Plus, relaxation information and videos. No pressure. No competitions. Just compete against yourself. TBFT are backing you all the way. Zoom meetings don’t mean we never meet up. This year Rob arranged a lovely afternoon get together for a walk around a lake, yoga and a beautiful wholesome meal. I’m also looking forward to a Christmas meet up and I’ve signed up for a retreat next year. TBFT will change your mental health and physical well-being. There’s no hidden costs or up-selling, just a genuine heartfelt interest into making everyone a healthier version of themselves.

Fantastic experience: I started with Rob and Mitch to build my strength. I’m 63 years old and while I had been involved in exercises over the years, it was periodic and had not sustained the strength I needed in my later years. When I started with Rob I didn’t think I could include 3 kilograms in my routine and now I’m including 4 kilograms. Importantly in a time when I had injury and did not participate Rob encouraged me back which was so important and I am so appreciative. I highly recommend this program and would say they are young people who get and appreciate older people. So incredibly refreshing

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Rob and Mitch for nearly 3 years now and I absolutely could not perform in my work or play without their consistent guidance and expertise. They have helped me to achieve a goal to reclaim my mobility and pursue my former level of fitness into my sixties. I look forward to the sessions from a social connectivity perspective as well and thoroughly enjoyed our first in-person meeting in Bendigo with other team members from all over the region. Fantastic experience: Signing up to Total Balance has been a wonderful challenging experience. Although I have always been a walker I knew the upper body wasn’t getting the movement and strength. Fantastic experience: I love the whole program of TBFT and the dedication ,enthusiasm and health education from the fitness team is priceless. My core, overall strength , and balance has improved so much since commencing the program after having many different injuries and surgery throughout my demanding careers. The exercises are very functional and are regularly changed so works all areas of the body. I can always go at my own pace and if needed ,can be adjusted to suit any injury conditions. My body feels so much stronger and especially now, have more hope and faith for my future as I age. To feel that confidence again in my body has given me a lot of hope to participate in my favourite sports and activities again, to which I never thought I could get back to to the level I was. Fantastic experience: I'm so encouraged. I started with these workouts at the beginning of the year knowing I was facing back surgery. I was on the waiting list and thank goodness for that because I have improved so much that I have deferred surgery indefinitely. Very happy and motivated to keep going!!

Fantastic experience: The online classes with Rob and Mitch are great. The programs have great variety and change every 4 weeks. The challenges that Rob creates are great too, helping us to focus on all things to do with health - food, exercise, meditation, water to name a few, as well as the app to help keep track and be accountable. Fantastic experience: Since joining TBFT not only have I lost 16kgs and developed more strength and flexibility, the team and programs each month online inspired me through Covid lockdowns and beyond. It made all the difference to my weekly routines and forging new habits. I’m encouraged always in what I’m achieving, see tangible results and have gained friendships, laughs at ourselves along the way and great ideas for small attainable goals. All this via an online session. I don’t remember when I seen the team in person. But I’m still going and I love it!! Though looking forward to seeing them at our Christmas get together. Join this program. It really has made such a difference as I transition into the new chapters of my life and still want to be healthy and fit as I’m ageing.

Fantastic experience: I found the TBF program really suited me. The classes are great with Mitchell keeping an eye on how I was performing them which helped.and The online stretching exercises held by Rob really helped improve my flexibility. I was pleased with the loss of 5 kg’s over the first 5 weeks due to swapping out alcohol for soda water, and swapping carbs for extra vegs/ salad at dinner time. The whole exercise plan had some flexibility which helped me fit the sessions in. I would definitely recommend the program to others and I appreciate the tools they shared to enable me to keep on the right track. Cheers Yvonne

Fantastic experience: It's an awesome journey. I feel better and fit into clothes that I haven't worn in a while. Also helps me in my day to day job of cleaning houses. I am more agile and flexible. I miss my training sessions when away in the caravan or have to go to Melbourne for any reason. It is as much a part of my routine now as anything else I do on a regular basis. Fantastic experience: Hello Rob, Thank you very much for keeping in touch and monitoring my progress. Not being that computer/internet savvy, it is soooo helpful and affirming having you guiding me along the way. I looked a few times on my computer at where to update my progress but couldn't find it, didn't realise that I could do that on my phone. With your assistance, I was able to update it - thank you. I don't own a set of scales, so don't know how I am going weight wise, however I am feeling really good about the training and the support I am receiving to be healthier and fitter for summer. I really like how your gentle encouragement of simple tasks like drinking 2 bottles a water per day, and walking helps me feel success and also so much better about me overall. Like you, our personal trainer Mitch is also very nice and always encouraging - he helps us to understand and follow the directions at a very manageable pace (I find the speed which most gyms adopt very difficult to follow and learn how to do the exercise. With our program, we can ask clarifying questions and additional demonstrations when we need to. During the session Mitch is carefully monitoring our small group's progress and regularly checking in on our physical and emotional wellness and making subtle adjustments individually as needed. Fantastic experience: Rob, Emily and Sarah are amazing trainers. They each have a wealth of knowledge and tailor fitness programs to suit your goals and fitness level. They are great motivators to help you reach the next level and keep you on your toes. I injured my shoulder previously and every exercise they gave me to do was carefully selected so as to not do further damage. I’m fighting for now and the strongest I’ve ever been! Can’t thank the team enough! I love the recipes and nutritional information they provide on the website and Facebook groups. The studio is very clean, neat and tidy and the equipment is modern and fit for purpose. Everyone I meet in my sessions is friendly and encouraging. Plenty of parking too, which I love!

Fantastic experience: LOVE LOVE LOVE... I have been training at TBFT over 1.5 yrs and I still love it! All 3 trainers are awesome and make sure you work your bum off in every session. Then you literally see your bum shrinking because you get results...and fast! It's a great place for fitness (of course) and a social chat. Rob always encourages healthy eating and gives extra hints and tips to get the most out of your health and fitness goals. In summary again....LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Positive experience: Rob listened to my goals and then helped me achieve them. Programs changed regularly to keep it interesting. He is a wealth of knowledge about nutrition as well as fitness, so I have learnt about general health, not just exercise.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I found TBFT, Rob and Sarah are so good at what they do. I originally signed up for 6 weeks letting them know about back and hip issues prior to starting. Each session they are both very good and making sure when I'm doing each exercise that my technique is spot on . Each session is different which makes it very exciting, I look forward to them. My fitness has greatly improved, my body feels much stronger and I have a lot more energy and best of all I have no pain in my back or hips. I've decided to keep up my sessions indefinitely. Fantastic experience: I've been training at TBFT for about 4 years now & wouldnt even think about going anywhere else. Its the most fun & friendly environment not to mention how professional Rob & the team are. They have taught me so much about health & fitness over the years. Before starting with them I had alot of lower back issues & they have worked with me over the years & given me great programs that have helped strengthen it & my back is in a place its never been in a very long time. I also had a baby via c section 9 months ago & afterwards I was feeling very weak in the core area. I was very nervous & hesitant about getting back into training & working out but they encouraged me, supported me, worked with me & have built my strength back up & now im feeling back to normal. I feel amazing !!! They personalise a program for each individual to suit your needs just like they did with me & they're fantastic in what they do. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy my workout sessions at TBFT, Rob is a great trainer who is supportive and encouraging at the same time. Rob has great knowledge in regards to nutrition and is happy to share this with his clients. Rob has a good understanding of people's capabilities and is able to push people to their limits (even though at times I have felt like I was going to die!!) but hey - I don't come to TBFT to have a picnic do I??? Fantastic experience: Rob Di Mieri of Total Balance Fitness Training in Diamond Creek is one of the best in the personal fitness industry and I can personally account for saying this - he helped me totally transform my outlook on nutrition, fitness and made it clear that it is not a once off, but it's a way of life! Having previously engaged in the competitive fitness arena, I knew from the start that Rob and his team knew their stuff and their dedication to their clients is second to none. Four months ago I walked through Rob's fitness studio doors and have not looked back since. Having set a modest goal for myself to lose 8kg's, I became so motivated by the culture at TBFT that I exceeded my goal and have lost a total of 10kg's and dropped from a size 14 to a 10 during my time there! And, what's more prominent is what I have learnt and taken with me - how fitness, optimal health and well being (emotional and physical) walks hand in hand and are all interconnected to ensure the best results for the rest of your life. Fantastic experience: The team at Total Balance Fitness Training are awesome! I've been training with Rob & the team for about 3.5 months now & the results really show. My work requires a lot of desk time & travelling to meetings, so not enough exercise and too much eating out were the norm. Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best decision I have made!!! I have always struggled with even the idea of exercise- little lone doing it. Never had a positive feeling about exercise and felt it to be such a drag and bother. I am in the wine industry and tend to eat and drink too often and too much, but since I started with Rob and the team I have found a new lease on life!! The custom made workouts were suited perfectly to my fitness (lack there of) and has gotten me to a level where I am surprised with myself and actually look forward to my next session!!!
