Positive experience: As an Anytime Fitness member, I visit many gyms in this chain. I went to AF in Pyrmont over a few days while housesitting nearby. It's strangely the grubbiest AF that I have ever visited, and they are normally very clean. Staff there seem generally preoccupied (could be more engaged and friendlier).

Fantastic experience: Very electric looking/modern day gym with all the equipment you need! Lily the club manager is very friendly and supportive to the members. Very highly reccomend becoming a part of this community!

Negative experience: It's a fitness center that doesn't have standards. The contract ended and they claimed this to deduct money for the full month even though the contract had already expired. It's easy to make a living like this. It's no wonder why there aren't many people going. Seriously, and besides, the staff should provide better service and provide better details. Thank you.Is it true? I didn't see anything being informed and then I overdid it. I was confused. I mean, I'm making a living by cheating customers. That's all. It looks very shoddy. I keep reviewing like this. I'm hoping I'll get my money back. Thank you.

Negative experience: I am writing this review to share my profoundly unsatisfactory experience as a member of Anytime Fitness Pyrmont. When I first joined, the staff was welcoming and the sign-up process was smooth. However, my opinion of this gym took a nosedive due to recent events. After a year of consistent membership payments, I was taken aback to discover that my membership fees had been increased by a staggering 35% without any prior notice. To make matters worse, I had always received emails from Anytime Fitness, so their claim that I canceled my email subscription was both baffling and untrue. My attempts to seek an explanation for the price hike were met with indifference and a lack of empathy from the staff. I requested a refund but was told it was not possible. Additionally, when I inquired about canceling my membership due to the unjust price increase, I was informed that I had to initiate the cancellation process via email. It seems that once they have your money, their commitment to customer service disappears. I am writing this review with great reluctance, as I have never felt compelled to complain about any business before. My experience with Anytime Fitness Pyrmont has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening. In summary, I strongly advise potential members to think twice before joining Anytime Fitness Pyrmont. My experience has left me feeling deceived and undervalued as a customer. I sincerely hope that improvements are made to ensure that others do not face similar disappointments in the future.

Negative experience: The worst customer service ever

Negative experience: Joined, was told there was a cooking off period where my money would be returned. I ccancelled within 7 days and not only did they say my key fee was non refundable they also lied and advise that my fob was locked and can't be used for anyone else. They replied and doubled down on the lies. Would not recommend. I just googled and found Snap fitness across the street. Larger, better facilities and cheaper in all aspects and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Always a great vibe at this gym smaller but has everything you need for a good full body workout. even at peak times I can usually get a bench. Friendly manager and the members i’ve had interactions with are always lovely and helpful

Negative experience: Tiny tiny space and will force you to stay on a contract with hard to leave terms. Makes you wonder why, if it was good they wouldn’t have to force you to stay. Anyone that has joined anytime has always had regrets. Rather join any other great club such as Ian Thorpe or club Lime both with bigger facilities and more amenities to offer for the same price and guess what? No lock in periods! I have moved and have not had any regrets

Fantastic experience: Visited AF Pyrmont and met the club manager Sam. Sam was very pleasant to talk to and was very helpful. The gym itself is very beautiful and clean. Equipments are spaced adequately. Definitely recommend going to this gym!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. Heaps of good quality equipment, wasn’t busy at all even during peak hour, super lovely staff who weren’t pressuring at all and created a lovely atmosphere, and was only $15 for a casual pass. Good strength training equipment in particular, squat racks and deadlift platform which aren’t in all anytime fitnesses. I’ll definitely return when in the area!

Fantastic experience: I have been to many gyms in my lifetime & from the moment I walked into Anytime Pyrmont I felt I would enjoy training here. Emily was very welcoming & made for a smooth transition of my membership. I like how there are separate areas for different activities. I like how clean it is. I like the feel that people are respectful of one another in wiping equipment & it putting back in place. It seems they have developed a good gym culture & that comes from the leadership. Looking forward to my training days.

Negative experience: I recommend to join a gym where you don’t need to sign a contract where you can cancel your membership any time for free… anytime fitness will charge 50% cancellation fee if you want to cancel your membership and my friend cancelled the membership and paid them 50% of total annual fecancellation fee as well but after few months they charged 400$ by saying that you membership was not cancelled… Very rude staff

Fantastic experience: I know many Anytime Fitness Gyms and Anytime Fitness Pyrmont is one of my favourite. Even though it's slightly out of my way, I love to make the trip there. The staff are really nice and it has a nice quiet area as well for the fit and athletics. The manager there does a great job and she's very kind and helps me out when I have any questions. Top place!

Negative experience: I have seen that one of your trainers is using the gym during lockdown!! WHY? I would really like an explanation and yes I am 100% sure as I saw the trainer enter the gym. And please don't try to rationalise that there was an alternate reason for entering the premise. Sunday 4th July approximately 3.45pm.

Fantastic experience: Nice and friendly environment. Bray, the club manager is always welcoming and friendly to everyone and Khalil, the personal trainer is an inspiring trainer who helps his clients become the better version of themselves.

Fantastic experience: Club Manager Brayden Saint-Barry and the team at Anytime Fitness have created a friendly and professional atmosphere. Gyms can be intimidating and scary if you haven't trained for a period of time, its like your First day at school a new job, or that painful trip to the dentist you've been avoiding. However the team at AF Pyrmont has welcomed me back with open arms, the key for me is not being judged or criticised for taking time out from training and this gym has lived up to above aNd beyond my expectations. Start training again, take it slow and improve your life, if you want this Anytime Fitness Pyrmont is for you!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: One of the best of the smaller Anytime Fitness gyms I've been to - despite a bit of a smaller area they make it work well and it's not usually too crowded! The staff here are always super friendly and welcoming, and always happy to help out. Would definitely recommend this gym! They offer free trials, so you can try it out and see what you think (everyone is different!)

Negative experience: I asked for a quote once and have unsubscribed like 5 times in the past 7 days. They just ignore the unsubscription and keep sending their "one-day sale" again and again and again like that would make people like them. Grow up. NO MEANS NO.

Fantastic experience: Rather small gym but good amount of equipment including 3 squat racks (+ a Smith machine) which is rare for a gym of this size. Friendly atmosphere and usually not busy at all other than the peak hours (still, even then wait times are very reasonable).

Negative experience: Not happy with the management in this gym. All their focus is around getting new members. They dont take care of the facility or existing member queries. I have been calling them multiple times to fix up the internet on the treadmills without any success and other similar queries. The cleaners always comes at peak times and bother you. Look for other options they may be better.

Negative experience: I would strongly recommend staying away from these people, they just want the money. I stopped going to the gym so I asked them to cancel my membership. They asked my to pay the termination fee but never sent the link for me to pay. And then they kept charging my membership fees. When I noticed, I sent them an email and never got a response. Poor customer service!

Positive experience: Good location and equipment, and the staff are friendly. However the gym is far too small. Overcrowded every lunch and after work period and having to battle for a bench or a place to work out. Please find a way to expand or limit people coming in the peak times.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at Anytime fitness Pyrmont for the past year and a half. During this time it's been a pleasure to train amongst the other members and the awesome staff there. Anytime I found myself needing help the staff were always willing and able to help with any questions I had in regards to training and membership. Sadly I have moved from the suburb and will be saying goodbye to this gym, but I would strongly suggest to people whatever their training goals are to join up and see them met with a very helpful team in a gym with high quality facilities fitted for all your training needs. It's been a pleasure and if I'm ever in the area again and need a gym it will be my first point of call.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Anytime Fitness Pyrmont since it opened, and have always found it to be a friendly, clean, well equiped gym. Perhaps most importantly, and uniquely, the manager and staff really care about their members, and will go out of their way to answer questions, fix issues, and make improvements. The recent renovations (December 2017) and new equipment have made a great gym even better, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants a relaxed, friendly, gym with decent, normal members and great support.

Negative experience: Poor customer service, I was not even shown around when signing up, only pay here sign here. Took them 15 days to give a refund and now being harassed for an amount they believe I have been credited twice. Email, Text, Phone from them. Imagine me harassing you when you took 15 days to refund my membership cancelled within the cooling off period. Awful Gym.

Negative experience: Be careful gymers! There's a controller called Alex lurking in this Pyrmont Branch.He will strictly pursuing you scanning the chips on the door,even the shoes you wear in the gym.If you need a healthy happy tranquil workout night.This is not a ok gym to be leave alone.
