Anytime Fitness Officer

Fantastic experience: Have never been to a gym before. The minute I stepped into AF Officer I was welcomed and encouraged. My doubts I had were listened to and guidance was given to what could possibly work for me which alleviated some of my doubts. The staff are great.

Negative experience: It has been far too hot in this Gym for well over 4 weeks! No staff or management has done anything to have it fixed. Tonight it’s 29 degrees outside and 28 inside!! No one can workout well like this and we have all paid our membership for proper services!! This is really poor behaviour! Do Something!!!!!!

Negative experience: Was friendly on first call, however after I couldn't reschedule a time to come in, they called me at least 4 times a day plus multiple text messages. I am unable to use my phone at work and I told them this however they kept calling. Because of the copious amounts of calls and messages I no longer want to join this gym.

Fantastic experience: beautiful club, love training here

Negative experience: I recently cancelled my membership here due to the fact I couldn’t access anytime fitness in other states. My keycard didn’t work, I had to download an app where I put all of my correct information but was denied access for who knows what reason. It’s expensive to sign up and to cancel. In my opinion it was not worth the money at all. The officer gym especially is very small. It has nice facilities and helpful staff but is overall not a good choice. Too many people go to officer, you’ll either have to go really early or really late to have machines available to you. Personal trainers are a scam, yes they’re qualified professionals but if you research yourself you will find more value in that, each their own. Thanks. Update to the reply: I’m unsure of what was resolved. I just explained what happened and why I quit and I sure as hell won’t come back but thank you for the call. Whoever it was they were nice and i appreciate that. I’m not happy about it, just happy it’s over and done with money wise. Be warned of high $$$ cancellation fees.

Negative experience: These guys are an absolute rip off! They would empty your bank account if they could. My membership was transferred from Officer to Cranbourne with a hefty increase in fees without my consent. Shocker! it's apparently in the t&c. Basically you're screwed if you use any of their other gyms!!! I'm reporting this to the authorities. You shouldn't be allowed to run a business that rips off customers like this.

Negative experience: Be prepared to be in a lock in contract and lied straight to your face. As soon as they get that signature on that contract, it’s game over for you. There is no way out. I made sure to ask multiple times before signing up if it was a lock in contract and if i would be able to leave for any reason that i would have no issues. I was reassured no no it’s not a lock in contract you’ll be able to leave at any time. LIES. now that the time has come that i want to leave. They genuinely will not let me. They want various pieces of proof before they will even consider your cancellation, i got asked for a stat dec, doctors note, bank statement, the whole works. Just for me to cancel this stupid membership. The whole company is a joke. The employees do not care about your wellbeing or health they simply want $$$ so if you’re looking for a supportive gym and not looking to be locked into a cult like company, i would not recommend here. The amount of stress and frustration throughout this process is enough to undo any positive work you may have done at the gym. The complete lack of humanity while they’re speaking to you is astounding. I felt extremely alienated and disappointed. The only answers i got were “there’s nothing more we can do” and sent on my way. Not to mention the price for what you’re getting. There are plenty of other gyms who are cheaper that offer more equipment, more utilities, quieter, and just over all better value for money than this scam of a place. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Negative experience: I decided to join the gym and i when went to anytime fitness officer, staff showed me around and started doing the process but i asked staff to give me some time to think but she kind of forced me to join the membership and said i can cancel the membership in cooling off period which is 7 days and when i call next day to cancel the membership they said I couldn’t get refund for fob which I didn’t knew at the time of joining. There was no any communication about non refundable policy at all. And its 80$ I didn’t even used the gym for once also. And now they are like its non refundable and all the stuff. Which is unethical they should informed this things while joining.

Fantastic experience: I recently transferred my membership with Anytime Fitness to the Officer location, well what an AMAZING positive experience compared to the previous AF location!!! As soon as I walked in the first time I was greeted by Shania, she was absolutely awesome, took the time to welcome me, showed me around the facilities and introduced me to other staff members, I have since begun training with a PT named Sage, he makes it fun whist keeping the sessions professionally and challenging, I call him the "smiling assassin". Recently my seven month pregnant daughter and family visited from Broome and whilst on holidays here my daughter joined AF Officer and was offered specific training for expecting mothers by Mikayla, my daughter being a nurse with mid wife experience was super impressed with the knowledge and advise offered by Mikayla. AF in Officer is a great place to be where ALL the staff are extremely helpful and always willing to help with a smile on their faces. A true reflection of how businesses should be run in this day and age, good ol fashion and genuine service. Other AF owners should take a good look at how the Officer location operates with, great staff, Proffesional and very inviting. Cheers Tony

Negative experience: ****Beware and careful before signing with them*****. Staff members are unprofesstional , dishonest and didnt disclose details about fees at the time of joining. I was just told weekly pay of 19.95/week and at the time of joining i specifically asked staff memeber about cancellation and they told me i can cancel anytime. they didnt disclose cancellation fee and its 24 month contract. when i went to cancel membership after a month. I was told to pay 50% of balance which was $1000 and it turn out to be 24 month contract.when i said this was not informed to me and and when i reminded them asking cancellation fee at the time of joining, The same staff outrightly lied never having such discussion on cancellation fees and still argued that its not lock in contract.this itself shows they didnt disclose these details at the time of joining which is wrong, unethical and dishonest. its mistake from my side to blindly trust staff and sign without reading contract. But its also shows unprofessionalism and unalethical practice by staff memeber to hide such Critical information at the time of joining. update: below response is incorrect. no solution provided instead i am being compelled to use gym.

Fantastic experience: I just joined the Officer “Anytime Fitness” and am truly delighted to be a member. The first outstanding feature is the highly motivated staff and their willingness to help. At 73 years of age and first time ever joining a gym , meeting some of the staff, I got to instantly experience their exuding the high morale and friendliness of Shania, Lachie, Sage, Tegan, Stephen on the very first day. I joined without prompting as it’s a wonderful experience to look forward to, at the cost of less than a coffee per day!! Smiling , informed, and highly skilled staff constantly reinforced my decision to join.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym when it opened last year and haven’t looked back! Plenty of well maintained equipment and the gym is clean and inviting. The group classes are a great addition and the trainers make the sweat fest lots of fun too. I always look forward to coming here.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Zac for almost two weeks and I have to say I already feel amazing, he’s been so patient in showing me the proper technique for stretching and workouts and I’ve felt so incredibly supported the whole time. Staff Tegen and Lachlan are also so welcoming, enthusiastic and attentive, always offering a genuine smile, wave and a quick convo when you arrive and leave. Never saw myself as a gym person but these days, I often feel myself craving a visit to the gym and I’m always very excited to come back when I’ve got a scheduled PT session or a spare moment to duck in for a quick workout! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't wait for the gym to open and I've been going since day 1. I love the trainers and their helpful attitude. There's a welcoming vibe to the place. It's always clean and it's easy to fit a workout in anytime day or night. Highly recommended. 5 stars! If I could give more I would.

Fantastic experience: I recently decided to dive in and make changes to my health and well being. So one thing I did was join the local gym in Officer, Anytime Fitness. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff are professional and friendly, terrific people who are super approachable. I am enjoying this so much, and starting to reap some rewards. The gym is spacious, clean neat and tidy with great equipment. Other members are also respectful and friendly. If ever you make this choice, you won't go wrong here. ❤️

Negative experience: No skipping ropes,no boxing and kicking bag. Boxing gloves are locked in room like some kind of treasure.

Fantastic experience: Madi was extremely helpful by assisting me in meeting with a PT to discuss a personalised program. If it weren’t for her caring and understanding nature, I most likely would’ve ceased attending. Sage was very understanding of my needs and is extremely excited in helping with my fitness goals. It is a great facility, and with helpful and supportive staff, I recommend Anytime Fitness Officer to others looking to start on their own fitness journey.

Negative experience: On of worst place. They will charge you even after account closure. They scam people with there ridiculous fee. Please be careful. Better not to join.

Positive experience: Have been going for a week, it is a clean and well maintained facility. May be missing some machines for your workout but staff are always happy to help you find an alternative. Staff are friendly and helpful will get you set up with a plan. If you require further assistance PT is available at an extra cost. Have had no issues with any members or staff at all everyone is friendly and actually the gym is very quite. Fees are not the cheapest but not the most expensive you are provided with access to any location and there workout app which I find useful. And a free pt session once a month. The membership is a lock in contract with cancellation fees so be aware. Overall definitely a good gym not too expensive but staff are very friendly and helpful to beginners.

Fantastic experience: Really nice gym. Very spacious, clean and new. Probably equal biggest AF gym I've been to. Plenty of machines, benches and racks so you shouldn't need to wait. Staff are helpful and always friendly.

Positive experience: I like the staff (lovely) and the equipment I don't like that the only floor space is also shared with the classes space. A couple of times I had to go home to do my floor work and stretches. It's a small gym but ultimately it has everything that you need. If it's close to home? I think it's worth the few constraints but you wouldn't come here unless you lived near by.. it's just too small ✌️

Negative experience: Last week, I visited the gym, and all the hype went down the drain. The gym is pretty small for the price you pay! They charge you $80 a month for a 24-month contract, and it goes up to $100 for 12 months contract, which is way higher in my personal opinion. I would not recommend this gym as I don’t see any value for money, and there are bigger, better and cheaper gyms within a 3 Km radius.

Negative experience: Everybody here for review ratings disregard all the reviews over a month ago as this gym opened up just over a week ago. My partner and i were so excited for this gym to open, we tried it and were unfortunately disappointed with the class we attended and many other issues that follow. We were provided with information about a flexible membership, boutique group studio and officers first "superclub". To only be locked in to a contract that was more expensive than other anytime gyms like warragul (yes i checked). For the price you pay, this gym simply is not worth it if your looking for classes and bang for your buck. All of this false advertisement prior to joining and missleading infomation will hinder the clubs numbers moving forward. I was lucky enough to opt out before the end of the cool off period and found a better option regarding my needs. Theres unfortunately not much positives i can talk about and i hope that everyone double checks what they sign up for as you have better options within the beacy to pakey area.

Negative experience: They are using false photos and videos from other facility’s to advertise for officer, the gym is very small. was told I was signing a “flexi” membership to get home and read the contract emailed to me that after the 7 day cooling off I am actually locked in for 24 months. Not an ideal set up all round

Negative experience: Dishonest and mismanaged. I was offered a month by month flexible membership, which actually turned out to be a lock in 24 month contract with a 50% payout for early cancellation. After sighting my concerns, my gym access was cancelled and I was told to return my fob. I simply wanted to talk to someone about my contract and have the gym take responsibility for the confusion they had caused amongst members, but instead of dealing with it they denied me gym access and provided me with flimsy justifications as to their poor communication and unfair contracts. I've already spoken to many other members that feel similarly to me. I don't think I've ever seen a gym with so many disgruntled clients before they even have their opening launch! The only reason they don't have a lower star rating on Google is because staff members have been giving 5 star reviews before the gym was even built.

Positive experience: Confusing. There are multiple reviews talking about the gym one mentioning a class. Although I am here now and it isn't open yet. I would be excited to go, although very misleading to the public...
