Fantastic experience: I finally decided to have a serious attempt at training this year! Anytime Fitness Ryde was a short walk away so I checked it out. The variety of equipment they have is great, the community is very passionate, motivating and friendly. The club manager Ruchi is always welcoming and good for a chat. I've also been working with P.T. Tania since March. Words cannot do justice to how much she's helped change my lifestyle. Training plans, nutrition and knowledge has gained me significant progress and she always goes above and beyond! Needless to say I'm still an active member and will be for a long time to come. I highly recommend anyone to check this place out. I hope to see you all here!

Negative experience: Small, cramped and less equipments (e.g. weights) despite the high price, Very less/no classes. Bear in mind the end date for your contract as they dont tell you even if it has already ended - they just automatically renew without letting you know. You also need to pay extra 30days worth of membership after cancelling it. read their contracts carefully.

Negative experience: Equipment hasn't been maintained, even after my accident (fault equipment), nothing changes. Ps: they charged me with a normal payment when I was compulsorily at home because of that accident!

Negative experience: Manager and staffs are not friendly, ignorant, otherwise place is close to my location, toys are okey, foods are okey

Fantastic experience: Signed up at Chatswood and found myself at Ryde currently just for Bec & Kat. Super warm and welcoming space great to train at, very cosy. The other members are great and super respectful easy to get along with. Sometimes hard to complete a work out when the girls are too good of a chat!

Positive experience: I visited ryde AF this morning. It was good to see a gym staff putting equipment away. Well done. This gym has a good range of operational equipment although I couldn't see a calf raise. The toilets and change area were clean. The water cooler pressure needs adjusting or filter changed as when you drink from it its like kissing the previous person who used it.

Fantastic experience: Edit: Changing my review to 5 stars because Bec was lovely and reached out to me directly to update me and let me know they’ve put in new ankle straps and ordered new barbell pads. I appreciate how the feedback was taken on board so quickly. . Although I haven’t been to this branch before, I had high hopes at first because it looked really clean and the layout looked great! However, I’m sad to say that the equipment proved to be quite disappointing. The Velcro on the ankle straps seemed a bit worn to the point that it wouldn’t stick strong enough. When I did my cable kickbacks, they just sprung off. Additionally, the barbell pads they have are in desperate need of replacing. There were two available at the gym and they both looked like the one in the image attached. On top of that, the smith machine is very squeaky. Please fix these few things! Everything else seemed alright.

Negative experience: Under no circumstance that you go to this gym. It needs to be shut down or the membership prices needs to reflect the condition of this gym. I would describe this gym as an overpriced PCYC. They have equipment padding which is torn, pins which are bent, misaligned equipment, for example the flyes machine one side is more misaligned then the other side. The gym is also extremely filthy. If you get a cleaning wipe and do one swipe on the bar of assisted bar machine, it comes out filthy brown. It makes me wonder if they have daily cleaners. Weighted plates are just dumped everywhere and I lost too much time looking for the right weighted plate. Even the location of this gym is under basically an RSL Club which has viewing of food trucks and large families stuffing there face. The staff or at least the one staff I spoke to via email who decided to give me a warm welcome followed by an immediate price dump, which I immediately responded to saying no and somehow they avoided three emails and a voice message to cancel before they finally responded. Ignore these reviews. Do not go to this gym. They don't deserve your $90 a month. As I stressed early it's a PCYC gym with an anytime fitness branding. It needs significant improvement. Response to Owner: I am originally from Sydney west and my standard is not that high at all. I believe in having an open platform for discussions not private so I can list a few here: - The cushions of your Leg extensions is torn and for people wearing small shorts will cause abrasions. - You have equipment with bent pins - You have extremely unhygienic equipment especially the assisted bar machine where you do one swipe it comes out Brown. - With the exceptions of the dumbbells, all weights are placed in random locations - You have misaligned equipment such as flyes and cable flyes - You cleaning wipes are just dumped in its location without proper closure around it. - You have one floor mat which is just bent, like all the sweat curled it - Add in really poor customer service, you can't send someone a warm greeting by an immediate price increase from $65 to $90 then ignore them immediately over 3 emails and a voice message. - In addition if you are going to price dump $90, it needs to be truly worth $90 and the gym is far from it especially for an Anytime Fitness brand. - Even going to the gym is a good laugh, you have an empty pizza box that has been sitting by the gate for the last 2 months. - However its very clear you need to raise your standard to justify $90 spending or if you keep the standard you have to drop the price. I'm not interest in contacting you to discuss common sense. If there was a Gordon Ramsay of Gyms, it would be shut down. Speak to your regulars at the gym and ask them for feedback.

Positive experience: Quite clean and quiet. My only complaint is its size and the lack of equipment. Given the small size, it's understandable that they haven't been able to fit in there much.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved here in the Ryde area. Having been a member of three separate home clubs between, St. Leonards, Hyde Park, Lane Cove and now Ryde. All clubs truely have their own unique community and culture. Anytime Fitness Ryde have been super accommodating to help make me feel welcome since transferring over. A special thanks to Ash (Area Manager) for helping me navigate some unfamiliar territory and Maddie (Anytime Fitness Ryde Club manager), with her amazing warm presence towards myself and all members and her willingness to always help. Caleb (Personal Trainer) for providing me with valuable insight to improve my form/technique and sharing how I can improve my eating habits. Thank you all for continuing to make my experience with Anytime fitness a positive and lasting one, calling Anytime Fitness Ryde my new home.

Positive experience: Always full of people. They don't have all the machines. For example Upper chest machine doesn't exist in here.

Negative experience: Not sure why you would build a new Anytime Fitness and fill it with old second hand used gym equipment? Should of used Hammer Strength machines like the other Anytime Fitness gyms around the same area. Not super clean and a little messy considering it's new. It is also quite hidden which isn't ideal.

Fantastic experience: This is my new local gym and I love it! Just opened and everything is new, clean and fresh. The gym has everything you need and I love the separate areas for cardio and weights. Staff are awesome and super friendly as well :) I’ve trained at many AF clubs, but Ryde is one of the better ones!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a sneak peak of the new Ryde Anytime Fitness during the fit out and I was blown away by the quality of the new build. This is by far one of the nicest gyms I have been in. The management team are some of the best people I’ve dealt with and the level of care they display for their members is second to none. Highly recommend.
