Negative experience: Disappointed with the experience I had high hopes for Trainstation Gym in St Marys, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The facility felt overcrowded during peak hours, making it difficult to use the equipment. The maintenance of some machines seemed lacking, with a few being out of order for extended periods. Additionally, the customer service could be more responsive, especially when resolving membership issues. While the gym offers amenities like childminding and a sauna, these services sometimes seem inconsistent with their advertised quality. For the price, I expected a better overall experience.

Negative experience: Gym is always cold due to the fans. Don’t recommend

Negative experience: Today, I had one of the most distressing experiences ever at a gym. I asked the woman at the front desk if the lockers were secure, and she reassured me that nothing would be stolen. Trusting her word, I placed my bag in a locker, but when I returned, I found it open and all my keys—house, car, office—missing. When I reported this to the same woman, she was dismissive and didn’t take my concerns seriously. As a single mom of two small boys, losing my keys was a huge deal, and I had no idea how I’d get home. I was shocked to learn that the cameras didn’t even cover the locker area, despite what she had previously said. It wasn’t until I threatened to call the police that the staff made any real effort to help, but even then, their response was inadequate. They barely searched, and I had to check the showers myself, where I eventually found my keys. Instead of acknowledging the unprofessionalism, the staff member told me not to talk to her like that. The gym’s lockers are unreliable, the staff is unhelpful, and the overall experience was beyond frustrating. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed.

Positive experience: Enjoy the gym. However, you need to up the hygiene duties. The men's toilet is rank and smells bad constantly. The cleaner needs to use disinfectant not just water and it needs to be done more regularly. Pest control is needed badly, at 4am in the change rooms the cockroaches rule the floor. Get this stuff under control and gym is pleasant. Don't just be sorry about my experience actually make the effort to improve.

Fantastic experience: Surprisingly huge on the inside! Modern equipment and a lot of it, banger music and not crowded. Overall pretty damn good!

Negative experience: I am writing to express my concern regarding the excessive use of fans at the gym, especially during the colder months. The outdoor temperatures are already low, and having the fans running inside the gym exacerbates the situation, leading to an uncomfortable and unhealthy environment for members. Physical activity naturally raises body temperature. The additional cooling effect from the fans can cause members to become overly cold, potentially leading to illnesses. Despite bringing this issue to management’s attention on five separate occasions, there has been no resolution. It appears that some individuals choose to work out in heavy clothing, such as jumpers, and simultaneously use the fans. This practice is both unnecessary and inconsiderate to other members who are trying to stay warm. I strongly urge the gym management to reconsider the use of fans during colder weather. Implementing a more sensible approach to climate control would greatly improve the comfort and well-being of all members. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly to enhance the overall experience at the gym. Thank you for your attention and understanding. This review will remain until fan issue is fixed.

Negative experience: Money hungry. Why have a phone if you’re going to give false and contradicting info, that you’ll deny by email. Train your staff with the money we pay you, and decide what cancellation period you want to enforce. Grubs.

Negative experience: Food not up to scratch

Negative experience: Not happy with the people working there. Rang twice to two different workers and one said to just ring back mid feb and ask to cancel then. When I rang in Feb they said that I will still need 30 days notice to cancel. It’s my fault I didn’t get it in email. But they could at least be honest.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym & Staff, as well with equipment always clean and in working order. Plenty of Pre/Post Work out options to chose from in the Kiosk & Vending Machine downstairs which is great.

Negative experience: Mens bathroom stinks , never has toilet paper , lights don't work , meant to have a 24 hour sauna never works and to top things off have started building new rooms and just pushed equipment together love workout with a stranger sweating on me said know one ever.!!!!!!!! Definitely looking into new gyms it's a joke!!!!

Fantastic experience: My absolute favourite gym, I could not refer it enough. I always struggled to find a gym I was comfortable in that also had all the desired equipments. Trainstation gym provides all the right equipments and right energy that has elevated my training every time. Fantastic experience: I have been training at this gym for quite some time now and I am seriously impressed with what this gym has to offer. The gym is always in a clean condition, and the equipment they have is awesome. The females bathroom has a lot of accessories and is always kept in a clean condition. Above all, the staff are so friendly and are always smiling. Would definitely recommend new comers to join. For what you pay you get so many extras that other gyms don’t have. I’m really also loving the new items being added to the their little protein/cafe for all the customers to enjoy!

Positive experience: Friendly environment. I don’t know whats going on with their membership system though. Cancelled mine twice and I’ve had to pay for a replacement twice now.

Negative experience: Stinky men’s change room. Rude staff at reception to be specific redhead lady doesn’t know how to talk. Crowded.

Negative experience: The gym is frequently in darkness at 5am. The stench from urinal tray from men’s changing room is so bad. Air freshener don’t work and they don’t do anything about stench anyway unless drain is cleaned out. OHS/WHS are seriously breached with the place in darkness and it’s an accident that’s waiting to happen. I don’t know if the gym management care or they waiting for something worse to happen to act. I am frustrated because i raised the same issues before and they promised it be fixed. I pay money to come to a good and safe place but this is just not on. Someone will take up the WHS issue and this gym will be in a lot of trouble . Do something please

Negative experience: waste of my time, I spent 4 months trying to get in contact with the manager and still haven't till this day

Negative experience: Most of the positive reviews for this gym are FAKE. If you look at the profiles they're users who have submitted 1 review and it just so happens to be a 5-star for this gym. Despite its name, this place isn't actually a 24-hour gym. Before 9 am, you will probably be working out in the dark. I've been here for the past four weekends, and each time, the lights only came on after I returned after 12pm. Also, the staff doesn't tell you how to switch the lights on after hours. It's pretty frustrating, to be honest. I'd suggest looking for another gym with better lighting and service. Edit: Lights have been off 5 weeks in a row. Brought my own lamp for lighting, because these guys can't turn on a light bulb.

Negative experience: Their website hours are wrong apparently they close at 8pm and not 9pm as per their website. I explained to the girl on the phone that I have tried to attend and am outside (8.01pm) wanting to sign up and she said sorry can’t help you cause we have closed but if you want you can come in and pay $15 for a casual visit. What a joke!

Negative experience: I’ve been at this gym for over 4 years now and honestly it has gone so downhill. As much as I love the idea of this gym half the time the water tap is out of order, aircons and fans not working properly if at all, and theres bad smell near the toilets, and broken equipment. Other clients have complained of these issues recently as well and the owner doesn’t fix it, poor management overall.

Negative experience: Standard gym but the staff have BAD communication/management skills. I was overcharged 2 weeks of gym fees past my cancellation date (due to their new 'system' implementation - that's a them problem, not mine) and I still haven't been refunded yet. I was asked to call their new financial systems provider and their financial systems provider wasn't satisfied and wanted the gym's approval. Now, Train Station gym wanted the financial provider's assistance for my refund THROUGH ME. It was a never ending loop. Why should a customer bear the burden of their system change and have to do all the communication on behalf of them? Train Station gym should have been calling their own financial system provider and sorting this issue out. In a few words: APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Some of their staff are incompetent and frankly rude. I could hear their staff talking/complaining about me while I was still on the line, since I was calling them multiple times to sort out this issue and get my refund (which I never got). Trust has been wiped out completely. Take my 2 weeks of hard earned money thieves! Seems like they really don't care about customers once you are no longer a member. Do not recommend you join this gym and it's a shame since the facility is nice but some of their staff are just terrible.

Negative experience: The gym would be a great place to go to if the staff weren’t so rude. My friend and I waited outside for 15 minutes to sign up and the front desk let us in and refused to sign us up saying that they actually close at “8:45” and made us feel like we were so inconvenient. Another occasion my friend and I trained there for a day and I walked up to the counter to ask the female staff member a question, she saw me walking up to the counter and put a “back in 30 minutes” sign up as she saw us walking up to her. I couldn’t believe how rude the staff were.

Positive experience: Pretty good Gym, would be more stars if the Heavy bags were functional but there’s 2 out of commission and one barely useable, wish they fixed this… other than that really good gym, friendly staff and a lot of useful equipment…

Negative experience: Staff themselves are ok, facilities medicorure best the "head Pt" is a rude condescending horrible person. Feel sorry for the staff that work there will be finding a new gym. Mens Sauna dosnt work always over 120degrees which is wrong. Never enough equipment and the management don't fix any issues customers bring up and I've leveled complaints about many things over the months and done about iti from rude staff to broken equipment to hostile members. Nothing to discourage the poor behaviour from some of the members. Meat head gym stear clear.

Negative experience: This gym is one of the worst gyms I have been to. The staff are very unwelcoming and rude. female staff and their mates give me (and I’m sure a lot of people) absolute dirty looks every time I am in the gym. The equipment are un sanitised, it is mandatory for everyone to bring a towel and yet not a single person does, staff do not care. They are very inconsiderate of peoples current circumstances especially during the middle of the pandemic and pull the “well you signed the contract” card. After being at this gym for nearly a year the overall experience has been terrible, I would not recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym nearly 2 years ago. Always get a warm welcome on arrival from the staff (& handshakes from some of the patrons).The gym is new , spacious & state of the art( no surprise that they have won the Best New Business Award for the past couple of years.). I like to train early afternoons whereas it is usually very quiet. & can complete any program I please. I do have a trainer & have learnt LOTS . Can only wish Ramondo & his staff the very best with their new venture. Wayne

Negative experience: Joined the gym to make it easier to work out and be close to my child who would be in the gym day care. Signed my child in and out within the first 2 mins , the room looked unhygienic and I was told we were too early (6 mins, supposed to open at 5pm) but other kids were there and they all were not hers. obviously the double standards were real. Better to just use the equipment service and that's it. Too overpriced for service that's not satisfactory.

Positive experience: I don't go to the gym myself, my girlfriend does, but she loves it. Some staff are very nice and understanding. While others are very rude, stubborn and downright petty! Their payments are all over the place, never always scheduled to how it's meant to be. Financial wise, they're not the best. Experience for going to the gym personally is great and the atmosphere is motivating. Their clothing is attractive, but they need to release the hulk shirts again, would love to represent them without making it obvious I don't actually work out. Other than that a good place to be in, but you might want to reconsider some of the female staff as they are letting you down with customer service.

Fantastic experience: This is a very spacious and new modern gym, love the equipment and the fact that this place is empty at very odd hours late at night/early morning. Since signing up at launch I haven’t met a single soul during my visits, of which I haven’t been more than 5 times. Have to start going more or convince the gym to apply as a Deductible Gift Recipient organisation so I can claim back my ‘donations’ at tax time. The foundation member pricing that I’m on is really good and the gym itself is great so I’m gonna start getting my monies worth and visit more often...soon.

Positive experience: I registered with them through their early-bird foundation membership while they were advertising them at St. Clair Shopping Centre. Thought that the ladies (one was the manager) were kind, easy to follow and would help me start a class there. A few months in, the manager leaves and the successive management feels there's much to be desired. Although the facilities are great, the class booking system uses a hideous second-rate app (MyClub) and there are certain corners of the gym (the upstairs bathrooms in particular) that are particularly left unfinished. Kind of waiting for this foundation membership to cease and felt some disappointment , especially with a growing pack mentality that unless you're part of the group, unfortunately there isn't much to your benefit.

Fantastic experience: Great gym all and all. The staff are helpful, especially Navid. The facilities are clean and tidy, and majority of the people there are friendly. Only a couple of lunkheads there but nowhere near the amount like say 24 Fitness. It's a 24 hour gym with all the machines and weights you'll need. Upstairs is all cardio equipment with rooms for classes. The shakes and snacks they have behind the counter are fit for the place. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Not too busy, has a creche to look after the kids, good clean equipment. The gym is only new and there's still a few improvements being made. It's in a very convenient spot with plenty of parking nearby.

Fantastic experience: Great new gym, just opened very recently. So recent they are still finishing off the construction! Downstairs has all the weight machines and free weights, upstairs are the class areas and the cardio machines. All the equipment is good quality.
