Negative experience: THEY CHARGE YOU $100 for cancellation fee and $5 for every missed payment. Complete rip offs. The equipment they have is super old. Please do yourself a favour and dont go there. It was my biggest mistake to go there.

Negative experience: There was an EOFY sale at Snap fitness Craigieburn in which the sale was that there will be no admission fee and first two weeks free and accordingly we signed up and the receptionist explained the offer as above and signed up mentioning that we’ll be charged after two weeks. Just 10 days later we were charged the fortnight amount and few days later we received an email mentioning that there was an error and staff was a trainee and requiring a payment rerun for the first two weeks as well. Extremely disappointed with the service and ripping off when it’s not even our fault!

Negative experience: Horrible new process of cancelling an account. They make it excruciating and tedious. They DO NOT call you back. Sadly, I never write reviews but this is what I’ve had to resort to.

Fantastic experience: Signed up to snap fitness for about 5 months and it’s a great gym with plenty of equipment and space for any type of training. Great staff working here with a welcoming environment! Highly recommend

Negative experience: Snap has asked for members to leave a review. Here it is... The best thing about the place is, its a quite gym. Other than that equipment is out dated and half the gym is out of service. Well over a month and the toilet/shower has been out of service with nothing wrong with it aaannd The place needs a good clean .

Negative experience: Title: Disheartening Encounter with Snap Fitness: Unfair Policies and a Lack of Customer Loyalty Rating: ⭐️ I recently had an incredibly unsatisfactory experience with Snap Fitness, and I am compelled to express my frustration with the unjust policies and apparent lack of customer loyalty displayed by this gym franchise. The ordeal unfolded when Snap Fitness decided to transfer my Oakleigh membership to Craigieburn. Initially, I assumed this transition would be seamless, but my dismay heightened when they failed to honor my VIP membership rates during the transfer. According to the Craigieburn manager, Jacqi, there were obscure terms and conditions that allowed them to impose the highest fees possible. This left me bewildered, especially since my previous gym franchise in Oakleigh assured me that such situations were common, and my VIP membership should have effortlessly transferred with the old rates intact. Upon revisiting my contract, I confirmed the existence of my previous rates, but coaxing Jacqi to acknowledge and honor them proved to be an exasperating challenge. Instead of providing clear communication, I found her beating around the bush and offering no tangible solution to address my concerns. Adding to the frustration, the Craigieburn facility itself is outdated, making it evident that Snap Fitness is more interested in extracting money from its patrons than delivering quality services. Consequently, I ceased attending the Craigieburn location and discovered a new gym facility closer to my residence. I am now hopeful about transferring my membership to the new franchise, which boasts a modern setup. What exacerbates my disappointment is the recurring theme in other reviews, where individuals are subjected to late fees and encounter similar issues with Snap Fitness. It appears that this gym franchise is more focused on profit-making than building a positive and loyal customer base. To compound matters, it is disheartening to note that there is no provided escalation contact email to reach out to Snap Fitness corporate and share insights regarding the franchise owner's hideous business dealings, which are bringing a bad name to the entire franchise. This lack of a communication channel raises concerns about the franchise's commitment to addressing customer grievances and maintaining a reputable brand image. At this juncture, I am seriously contemplating relinquishing my Snap Fitness VIP foundation membership and exploring options with the newly opened gym in my new suburb. It's disheartening to realize that loyalty to a brand may not be reciprocated in today's business environment. If you are considering Snap Fitness, exercise caution and explore alternatives that prioritize customer satisfaction over profit margins.

Negative experience: I have been a member of the Craigieburn branch since a couple of months and I have been a Snap Fitness member even in Dubai Motor City. However, I have been recently facing these late payment charges of 5 AUD even though I have funds it shows no sufficient funds, As soon as I get a message I call back and ask them to retry, the late payment fee is applied. Now I know for a fact that there is a solution to this but the "manager" Jacqueline says no there isn't.When I have asked if I can speak to some one else who can probably get a solution or ask anyone else who can get a solution for this issue I have been given the same answer. I feel being a loyal member for decades has no value these days. I will change my rating when I get a proper solution to this problem.

Negative experience: Snap fitness was the #1 gym I was interested in joining, unfortunately it’s never staffed, they called me and asked if I wanted a free trial, I told them a time I’ll be in, they said come in at that time, I get there and there’s a sign it’s unstaffed, I come back an hour later it’s still unstaffed. The staff must be on permenant break or something cause mid week I go there it’s unstaffed. Amazing ended up joining a different gym

Negative experience: Never open no stuff at desk at all time

Fantastic experience: Not the biggest gym in the world and doesn’t have every piece of equipment I would like but it more than makes up for that with plenty of space between equipment and dedicated space for stretches and body weight exercises. The gym isn’t too busy which means you don’t have to wait for equipment all the time and the vibe is very friendly as you don’t get the undesirable types of gym goers like the gym next door.

Negative experience: PLEASE AVOID BEING SCAMMED... Snap Fitness were still charging my credit card for membership during COVID lockdown so I chased Snap Fitness up about it where they agreed to refund me just under $100.... It has now been 2 months and my refund is still no where to be found!! I have followed up sooooo many times with the club and apparently the senior manager and CEO were contacted, but if that is true then it is simply so unprofessional to still have not received my refund after this long. I kept polite and patient until this review because I cannot fathom a company acting like this.

Negative experience: Poor quality definition is No one at Snap fitness craigieburn care about quality specially cleanliness and that too when the world is going through a contagious pandemic. No one at the gym care about cleaning after themselves. And no seems to be caring on this major issue including management. The management is usually not there for the existing members. They are always busy taking onboard new members means business is booming for them. Also when the premises are unstaffed there are usually no cleaning wipes, No sanitising liquids etc. Not profession defines that at the time of sign up advise was that you could leave anytime and no notice is needed as we are not locking you in to a contract. But when advised them of quiting membership a new 30 Day notice kicks in which never has been discussed earlier. Poor Communication defines that after taking 2-3 members to them and making them a member they send messages that we will give you benefits when you bring more people in. I mean i just did in the last weeks. So they really mean business. If you want a crowded, sweaty equipment then yes, This place is definitely for you. Go for it and i Wish you luck... But stay safe.

Negative experience: Do not recommend this gym at all. Be wary that they care about your wallet and not you. Money making scheme where if you want to cancel your membership, you need to go through a "30 day notice period", where you'll still be required to pay every fortnight, even if you don't go to the gym. When asked what this 'notice period' was for, was given the reason that its for a change of mind, yet there's no avoiding it if you are 100% you want to cancel. You're quitting a gym, not a full-time job. Nothing but a way to suck money out of you. The gym was OK with cutting opening hours during COVID, however weren't ok with cutting back membership costs? If other gyms in the area could stay open much longer during COVID, only reason i see that Snap couldn't was to save themselves some money from having to pay staff. Gym equipment is also poor and lacks basic things (eg incline bench presses).

Positive experience: Very good fitness brand located alongside the road. Best fitness equipments at your disposal. Round the clock availability makes it an amazing opportunity. Easily accessible for all the travellers from different parts of the city. Easy access for all the wheelchair entrants.

Even after notifying managers via email, phone and in person that I could not attend due to surgery and now recovery time they continued to debit my account. I also rang the head office and they said they would investigate and call me back with a response. Still waiting!! I would not recommend membership to anyone with SNAP fitness who seem to have there eyes on your bank account and not your health.
