The gym is well-maintained, the staff are friendly and its a pleasure to visit. Its a real bonus, to a frequent traveled like me, that I can access AF elsewhere in Oz and overseas.

Fantastic experience: Joined up at anytime and when entering the facility and air is clean, the staff Georgia and Hunter were really helpful and accommodating which made me feel comfortable and included running me through the basics and offering extra support to go through training and exercises. I did the 360 body scan and it gave me lots of valuable information to help with my fitness goals and I was surprised how much detail and effort they put into the process. Awesome gym highly rate

Negative experience: This was the worst experience I have ever had any gym in Australia and worst anytime fitness one at that. Came into the club to ask if I can see the equipment and the girl made me fill out a whole form as if I was joining with my personal info and all etc. I only wanted to quickly see the gym that day and wasn't joining and despite letting her know she still made me fill everything out and then proceeded with a 10 minute questionaire on my fitness journey and my motivations etc. If you can't be flexible depending on the customer walking through the door, why not just have a robot with a questionaire at the front? Never had to do this when asking to have a very quick look at the gym. She then proceeded to talk me through memberships and said I have to pay for the key fob again and joining fee and lock into a 12 or 18 month contract. This is an absolute lie. I already paid my joining fee and for the key when i joined previously and every other anytime fitness could just activate my key and allow entry with a pay by month option too. Instead of this, she said Bathurst anytime fitness is different and needs a new key and joining fee paid. I have had a past membership with a fob key to enter any anytime fitness club and despite me telling her, she insisted on paying again. This was also after me having said I just wanted to walk through and see the gym, not join yet. Terrible service that makes you feel like you are being scammed for personal info and more money. Edit: In response to you not offering month by month that is not true, because I am aware of people who do the month by month at your gym. Also with anytime fitness gyms, the key fob I have has always been able to be used for entry and I have been to 6 other gyms whilst travelling or relocating which allowed this. The motivational questions you have are best suited for someone who is signing up or new to gym. Going in depth in questions like "who motivates you to go to gym or who supports you?" is not warranted in every case. Also for someone coming in for a quick tour, a signed waiver in your case should be enough rather than an entire onboarding session. Also fyi, other anytime fitness gyms have not done this waiver form either.

Fantastic experience: Excellent AF Gym. If you're starting your fitness journey or already on track I'd strongly recommend this place: Clean well maintained machines, weights, etc. Well positioned. Really good air flow and ventilation. The first gym I've been to with signs guiding you to the various fitness areas. Good showers with strong water pressure. General vibe was strongly positive.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed training at AF Bathurst. I'm from Sydney and was happy to see AF as I drove by and had to do a session while in town. They have a wide variety of machines in a well laid out facility. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Looking forward to training here again when I'm back in Bathurst. 5 Stars guys!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like family. This is a Fitness center with anyone in mind. Any Body Type; Any Age; Any Fitness Level and Any Fitness Goal.

Negative experience: The worst experience me and my partner have ever had with a gym! We wish we could give less than one star. Bad customer service! Especially Brook and Emily, they don't care about customers. It is not really recommended to sign-up long-term membership if you have an unexpected issue and need to cancel your membership, they will try to make lots of trouble for you and waste time! We used to sign-up membership with the owner Brook. At first, she was negligent to tell you of critical details during sign up and then proceeded to gaslight you into thinking she did. Later on, we had an unexpected issue and went back to our country in mid May. We had contacted them by email to freeze our both memberships and we did send our flight tickets to them before we moved back to our country. Then, This is how Brook replied to me "Unfortunately an airline ticket won't qualify for this. As I mentioned we require either a bill (phone, electricity or bank statement) with your new address. Once you have moved, please forward us your new address details as mentioned above." However, we were still happy to WAIT A MONTH TO GET EVEN THE REQUESTED EVIDENCE AND OK TO LET THEM CHARGE OUR BANK ACCOUNT DURING THAT TIME. FINALLY, WE WERE ABLE TO SEND OUR ELECTRICITY BILL INCLUDED OUR NAMES AND ADDRESS TO THEM, EMILY KEPT GIVING ANOTHER EXCUSE AND EXPLAINED LIKE THIS "WE JUST REQUIRE WRITTEN OF PROOF OF YOUR RELOCATION TO PROCESS CANCEL 30 DAYS FROM NOW AS THAT WAS WHEN WE RECEIVED YOUR CONFIRMATION". in the email, it showed the termination confirmation for our membership, which is good but they also have "the final billing will occur on 12th August 2022" and membership ends on "17th August 2022". THERE ARE TOO MANY RIDICULOUS REQUESTS. ONLY APPROVED THE EVIDENCE WHEN YOU WERE BACK YOUR COUNTRY AND THEN SENDING EVIDENCE LATER. ALSO, THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE IF YOU ARE APPROVED TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP TODAY BUT THE CONTRACT KEEP GOING 1 MORE MONTH AND THE PAYMENT IS STILL TAKEN IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS. THEY MADE US FEEL THEY TRY TO DELAY OUR MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION PROCESS AND TAKE OUR MONEY AS MUCH AS THEY CAN. WE HAD GYM FEW ANY TIME FRANCHISES BUT THEY NEVER BEHAVE LIKE THIS. Others always suggest solutions to the problem trying to solve things in the customers best interest. We know Anytime as a gym is not that bad but not for this one FYI, Don't bother trying to call the helpline for anytime fitness as it will always direct you to an answering machine that tells you to email them, an email service that takes them weeks to reply to anything.

The amount of support Brooke and the team give is awesome, the member nights are great ways to meet new people and have fun. The overall culture and feel is safe, clean and encouraging. It’s the only gym I’ve ever stuck with and felt comfortable at. I can’t recommend AF Bathurst highly enough!

There are two other gyms that are closer to where I live and work, however, I have never considered swapping gyms as the friendly atmosphere created by the staff is second to none and is truly a great place to work out. There is a good variety of equipment for all fitness levels and the gym feels a lot more spacious since it’s renovations. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I have visited many anytime fitness gyms throughout Australia and can say that AF Bathurst is one of the best. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. They also go out of their way to greet every member with a warm welcome. The club is clean and well equipped. Club owner Brooke should be commended for the fun, friendly and helpful atmosphere that she promotes on a daily basis.

Fantastic experience: I joined AF BATHURST for last 1.5 years and still I can find the consistency and quality service to members to achieve their goals by Brook, Georgia, Hunter and Jane and still can see that you can do attitude with all staff, members are supportive as well. By the attitude of or AF team you got to learn it’s all about your daily habit and attitude and doing it consistently. Brook,and team are so dedicated to their member they post the fitness video, and healthy diet recipe. They won’t forget to follow up with the members and listen what’s happening and how they can improve if they need one. The things I like most is monthly challenge where all members can participate.

Negative experience: The worst experience I've ever had with a gym. Wish I could give less than one star. The owner Brook is an unreasonable self righteous Karen who feigns a friendly smiley demeanour, completely fake. Neglects to tell you of critical details during sign up and then proceeds to gaslight you into thinking she did. When other Anytime Franchises suggest solutions to the problem trying to solve things in the customers best interest she gets them in trouble with management rather than earnestly dealing with it. She doesn't care about the customers. Anytime as a gym is not that bad **edited(I take this back, sign up for Jetts) (anytime will make you pay 100s of dollars in sign up fees and then Karen's like this will cancel your membership arbitrary) the owner of this particular one is horrendous, whatever you do do not sign up with this particular gym. **Edited Don't bother trying to call the help line for anytime fitness as it will always direct you to an answering machine that tells you to email them, an email service that takes them weeks to reply to anything. I have yet to receive a reply for this horrendous malfeasance.

Negative experience: Similar to other's experiences, this gym is not about supporting those who train hard/effectively. - Arbitrary rules in place regarding 'grunting' or making too much noise, despite having a lifting platform which is, literally, designed to have weight 'dropped' on it (and you're not even allowed to do olympic lifts on it either, hah!). - Had friends told they were 'too intimidating' because the weight they lifted was heavy compared to regulars, harassed so much they changed gym. - You'll be singled out and told you've been using a squat rack for too long (>30mins), which is completely reasonable on the face of it if there are people waiting, but they have 3 squat racks and the the other two could be empty and they'll still make a fuss. - Female member told to 'cover up' because, heaven forbid, her outfit showed midriff. - Heard horror stories about pushy sales staff and the struggle to get out of your membership. Fortunately for me my 'home gym' for anytime fitness had changed by the time I was cancelling.

Fantastic experience: This place is great, staff are super lovely and helpful, always want you to achieve your goals and aren't pushy at all. Equipment is always clean and I feel safe working out even late at night.

Fantastic experience: I was with this gym for 3 years and they were great the whole time. lots of cool events and promos. Extremely clean! Staff always said hi and bye and would often have a chat which made me feel very welcome coming in by myself. I was very surprised how easy it was to cancel my membership too, they were very understanding and not judgmental at all. Highly recommend

Negative experience: I have had the worst experience ever with this gym in Bathurst. Never have I had an issue with any place, so this is a first. Before I came a lot of people warned me about it, but I had no choice moving gyms from Sydney so I saw for myself. I have been shown some awful sexist behavior from the staff and have felt harassed and humiliated by them. No wonder this place only has two stars, if you are thinking of joining DO NOT go here. They contradict their own rules and do not support self confidence of the customers. Such a shame, it's not even worth one star but it seems I have to rate this dreadful place.

Negative experience: This is the worst gym! I'm warning you do not sign up to this gym! The staff are so rude the owner Brooke is pushy, annoying, and extremely rude and fake! She harasses you non stop. This gym is one of the most unhygienic places I have ever seen! Contracts are a lifetime, so hard to get out of and they harass you all the time when you haven't been seen there for awhile! ANYTIME FITNESS BATHURST-- Don't go there

Fantastic experience: Above standard anytime fitness franchise compared to inner Sydney gyms regarding equipment and space

Negative experience: No professional. Was picked on every visit for this or that. Could not train without stress about making a grunt sound or slightly droping the weight like 1mm on a barbell row. Definately not for serious trainers and power lifters. Definately not run by fitness enthusiasts. Rushed sign up. Fake personalities. Dont do it. This is the second time ive used anytime and the last.

Negative experience: Beware. Lock in contract that cannot be broken unless you sustain an injury preventing you from using ANY of the equipment, find someone else to take over your contract or move more than 30 KMs from ANY Anytime Fitness. Was certainly not worth the hassle and I will never return for the simple fact that they rush you to sign the contract without explaining any of the exit policy aside from the cooling off period which they're're required to by law.
