Negative experience: I recently visited, and the experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in. The staff immediately questioned if I was a member with a bad attitude, making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Which was not the treatment I expected as a paying member. It’s disappointing to be treated this way when I came to enjoy a workout. The club itself deserves 2 stars for being well-equipped. However, there's a $250 fine if you wear the "wrong" shoes or use their lift!

Negative experience: Went there to cancel my membership with my husband. 400$ canceling fee each, $800 for both of us??? No one told us about this when we signed up. What is this?? What a scam lol. Do yourself a favor and avoid this gym || EDIT : I've been trying to cancel my membership for almost two months via email. We’ve only used the gym for three days ONLY in 1 week & decided to cancel after 2 weeks. This is a time consuming and acceptable service with repeated responses that doesn’t resolve this matter. Don’t sign up for this gym unless you want to be locked in a contract. No one will reply to this review( check the other reviews, they only respond after a year if not more LOL) I won't delete this review until the issue is resolved.
Hi Celine, we are so sorry to hear that this is your experience with us. With our POWER membership option (the option you and your husband chose upon joining), it is a 12 month minimum contract and as explained to you throughout this whole process, once you past the 7 day cooling off period you are required to pay 50% balance of the time remaining. We do offer a no lock-in contract membership as well as a contract membership for members to pick the most suitable option for them and their circumstances, we do not lock any one in to a contract that they do not opt in for and hope you understand this. Positive experience: Have been with them for over 2 years now. Pretty decent gym with all the equipment as required. The facilities, including the toilets, are a bit outdated and not in the best of conditions during peak hours. The gym itself is well managed, and the staff are relatively friendly. I'd give 4 and half stars if possible.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, they have upgraded most of their equipment recently, so it looks modern. People are quite friendly too and mostly don't interfere and let you pursue your own routine unless you ask for help. Decent parking spots are available as well

Positive experience: Good gym, really need to fix the water bubbler. It's not cold and the flow is pathetic. They want you to buy cold water, only gym in the world that doesent have a functional bubbler or multiple for that fact lol

Fantastic experience: Been a member here now for about 2 months and every interaction has been a positive experience. Equipment is well maintained, morning and evening classes are intensive but very good and managed well. The trainers also come with a sense of humour which is much needed when you're battering your body into submission. I'm also about to complete a first round of 10 PT sessions with Mustafa who has been nothing short of supportive, motivational and understanding. I'm not always the most enthusiastic of people and he always manages to help me through if I'm struggling without letting me give up. Muscle groups don't always do what we want them to either and Mustafa is great at finding a work around to complete the exercise in some form if the body says 'no' without the risk of injury. He knows his stuff!

Positive experience: Really great gym but some of the new equipment really sucks, specifically the new benchpress equipment. has me kind of thinking about training at different gyms that still have the old stuff or even better functioning equipment compared to the new stuff for certain days.

Fantastic experience: Good things about the gym: 1. Welcoming staff - The staffs at the reception always answer your questions with a smile on their face. 2. Great location - Off the A3 road and it has a few good restaurants and hotel nearby. Parking is easy too. 3. Adequate equipments - You can find all the equipments you need to work out here. 4. Classes - This gym has quite a few classes you can join and challenges you can participate. A special thanks to my PT Miss Janet who has been guiding me for past months to help me achieving my fitness goal. Anyone who is looking for improving your fitness level I highly recommend you come and book in a consultation with her.

Fantastic experience: My first gym ever!! I love this gym so much, not a big big gym space, but definitely all equipments were new and complete. Very hygiene, clean and air flow was good. There are also charging port, water refill tanks and women’s section which gives women some privacy. The only thing is that probably management has to be make sure all members to wipe equipment before and after use. I saw several times that some member doesnt even use a towel.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COST, they only care about money, they have no compassion towards their patrons. As a covid positive guy, I e-mailed them multiple times to stop deducting money from my account but they still went ahead and charged me. Utterly disgusted with this gym and the management. Cancelling my membership all together. Dodgy people operating this business, STAY AWAY!!

Positive experience: A good Plus Fitness branch. Bigger than the Market St Sydney one & a lot better than the one at Lidcombe (which I went to a few times + had few change plates, no airconditioning & is a single large room only). Strathfield South has all the needed equipment it seems, is clean & has 2 separate rooms for free weights & one for core strength exercising. Not enough contact with staff to judge.

Negative experience: Shame there is no half a star option. I went there to enquire about joining. Walking up a small flight of stairs was a door labelled with "Ring doorbell and hold for 5 seconds". So I did that twice, waited about a minute and left. The doorbell did go off as I heard it twice and people were definitely in there. Left a very nasty taste in my mouth in regard to customer service.

Negative experience: Gym is dirty and too crowded. Equipments are always broken down and took forever to be fixed. The air conditioner does not work properly. The owner is rude and obnoxious when you try to raise any concern to him.

Negative experience: Service wasn’t great - nobody showed me around when I signed up either
Positive experience: Not the biggest gym around town however the equipment and atmosphere is up there with some of the better 24/7 gyms!

Negative experience: Very very dirty gym. Complained once and was reassured that cleaners are there “every day”. Can probably collect enough dust to open up a new Build-a-bear workshop. So unhygienic. All the equipment stinks. To sum it up bluntly - disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Been with it for more than 3 years. One of the best due to its 2nd floor location. Bright and clean. Staff is nice, even helped me found my lost phone by going through the cctv.

Positive experience: Gym has all the equipment you'd expect from this brand. The Plus Fitness branded dumbbells are not in good condition, the rubber is falling off most of them... There is only one shower which is pretty cramped and no place to hang your clothes.
Positive experience: Too much crowded
Positive experience: Pretty spacious and well-equipped gym with great value. This gym is largely divided into 4 sections - cardio, stretch, machines and weights. Cardio area feels rather small, because they only have several machines of the same type. On the other hand, there is plenty of strength machines and weights to go around. The place is always air-conditioned well. Air is cool without any bad odour. Parking is pretty easy. It has a dedicated outdoor car park with about 30 spaces, and it is pretty much only shared with an Opporto and Subway. Shower facility is just minimal. I am not sure about women's, but men's only have single tiny shower booth next to toilet.

Negative experience: +many devices -disgusting shower/toilette -very humid -toilett next to the shower cabine. all very small -no place to change clothes
Fantastic experience: Non active adult. First time inside a gym ever, and I'm loving it. Got myself a personal trainer who works through the Gym and I'm seeing results. The Gym is small, but that adds to it's value: It's more personal - and clean. All the staff I've encountered are super friendly, and the regulars (made up of all kinds of people and sizes) are really cool as well. No intimidation and non obtrusive - and that was a big factor for me. It doesn't feel like a big corporate chain of Gyms. It feels more like an exclusive (but welcoming) club.
