Negative experience: To give this establishment a 1 star is extremely generous. They literally steal your money. I put in an online enquiry while i was in hospital. I typed in my details expecting somebody to contact me to finalise and talk to me about a possible membership. This was a thursday, I contact them on monday to inform them i dont wish to join, as i am currently unable to commit now due to my physical disability.. only to be rudely spoken to by some chick named "Amy" who claimed that apparently it was okay for them to still charge me an establishment fee of $60. Completely taken advantage of in this situation. Money hungry theives.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with this gym. The equipment is on the verge of breaking down, with ripped leather and rust covering most of them. Despite charging higher fees than other gyms nearby, they haven't bothered to upgrade or maintain their equipment properly, the rowing machine is about to fall apart. Cable fly is ancient and always out of order. Almost everything here is ANCIENT. The owner's greed is evident in their unwillingness to invest in improving the gym. you can’t wipe any of the equipment down because there are no wipes anywhere, it’s the least the management can do. Paying to go here is a waste of money, do your research before joining. Look into other gyms and you will 100% find a better gym for the value.

Positive experience: This is the second time I’ve experienced a male cleaner entering the “LADIES ONLY ZONE” and constantly staring The ladies zone is meant to feel like a safe space where women can freely workout without a male glaring at us. This issue has to be fixed ASAP

Negative experience: casual price rise to 15$ :(((

Fantastic experience: Prices are reasonable, there's tons of great equipment and the staff are friendly. Unlike other gyms I've been to, they're not aggressive in getting you to sign up to long lasting contracts and have offered to put payments on hold for a couple of weeks when sick or on holidays. Would absolutely recommended this gym to anyone looking.

Negative experience: 0$ Sign up fees! Except for the 35$ access tag and the 60$ " direct debit fee"

Negative experience: There are cars (and keys) that get stolen from this gym. Not the manager’s or workers fault but it’s happened more than once so something needs to change

Positive experience: Medium size gym, quite clean, the service is ok. However the timetable for classes are not always accurate. For example today I went to join the Yoga class, only found out that there was actually no yoga class today, while it’s advertised on their website, the timetable page. I asked the staff, the staff said that this evening they only had a cycle class while he was handing me the printed Jan timetable. The yoga class was also in the printed timetable…which caught the staff by surprise. This is not the first time I experienced this. Wrong timetable could mislead existing and new members

Negative experience: Don’t go here they steal your money! I have been twice now (don’t ask why I went back ‍♀️) but the first time I cancelled my membership they continued charging me so I had to go to my bank to get them blocked! And this time I canceled they kept charging me again and have just called me to take $60 absolutely ridiculous and not even worth the money

Positive experience: Really great gym. They're in the progress of updating their equipment. The staff can be nice but when asked to provide toiletries for the toilets or cleaning they just don't do it. The women's area needs more equipment as well as more space for mirrors for solo work outs. The fans don't usually work and don't really cover some of the area's you work out in. However it's easily accessible and worth its price.

Fantastic experience: Love my gym , such friendly staff , trainers and members , great fun classes , affordable child care I’ve never been a gym person but with the encouragement and support of the friendly members and amazing trainers , I felt comfortable to return and stick to my goals I’m now 12kg lighter and enjoy attending 4 times a week or more if I can get there Highly recommend to anyone looking to join

Fantastic experience: Been at this gym for more than 5 years now and having 24/7 access is convenient. Membership pricing is reasonable and there are plenty of equipment to workout with.

Fantastic experience: A good local gym with enough for me to use. This is my first time going to a gym regularly and being a novice it has all the things I need to get started. When I'm further through my fitness journey I will have to reevaluate and see if it still offers everything I need but at this stage I'm very happy with it as it has enough equipment and is never too busy that you can't get to do a workout

Fantastic experience: Walk the talk!. That's what they do at Genesis Cranbourne. All the staff and trainers practice what they preach. The're on the floor in between shifts maintaining their health and fitness. This is what makes the atmosphere awesome. There is a real energy about the place and helps a great deal to motivate. And the equipment is state of the art. Best gym I've been to in years, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the variety of classes and times, I am particular fond of Zumba and the instructors I highly prefer including Justine & Carmen. there fantastic. Zumba Times Sunday 10am-11am with Justine Monday 9.30am-10.30am with Mary Anne Wednesday 8pm-9pm with Carmen Thursday 6pm-7pm with Carmen Friday 7pm-8pm Pierre Saturday 11am-12noon with Patti Prices are relatively reasonable-12month contract for $16.95 weekly. Other options are available.
