Fantastic experience: Great gym. Was only down for a couple weeks for work. Got a 10 visit pass for $120. Good equipment and not overwhelmingly busy. Lots of classes available as well. Recovery room used by my partner and she loves it.

Fantastic experience: Great modern facilities and helpful, friendly staff! The owners are always updating the equipment and improving the space which is awesome. Love the free creche, the new massage chairs and sauna.

Negative experience: This gym is a shell of what it could and should be, even though I still attend, I don't want to, but I live right next to it so it just makes sense. The pricing is more than other gyms that I've been at, yet the facilities and staff are worse. Other gyms let you put your membership on hold for free, this one charges the equivalent of an entire week's charge to put your membership on hold. At other gyms, If I have not been for a week, they contact me to see if I am ok and offer to put my membership on hold, Benefitness will not contact you. When different rooms have been shut down for maintenance, they have not provided any reimbursement or offered to allow you into the premium rooms for the time of maintenance. There is lots of dust around and almost no air gets into the building unless you go and open some of the windows, which people will close because they get cold, how you get cold during a workout is beyond me. They put in some new flooring, and it's made up of small curly fibers that get trampled down over time into a soft plastic, the problem being is that it's the absolute worst possible flooring to choose as it's impossible to clean and people step and sweat on it all day every day. The owner has no idea what he is doing, he's not into fitness, he's just someone who happens to be in the fitness industry. He will buy silly equipment and try silly ideas instead of the ideas people want. Half the time the wet wipes are empty, one going 6 weeks without them being refilled. They got rid of paper towels for wet wipes instead because they're more sanitary, but that just leaves things wet. Often all rooms in the gym will have classes on, meaning areas you've paid the right for, you are not entitled to until the classes are finished. about 1/4th of the equipment is not calibrated correctly, creating uneven positioning that's not good for your body. There is a sewer pipe that leads almost right to the front entrance and I smell sewer many times I go to the gym. I tried to use my Vr in there one and was told no. No reason at all, just that 'it's not that type of gym' Whatever that means. Meanwhile they seem to be gradually progressing towards virtual reality anyway because they have a bike room filled with loud music, flashing lights and a projector to make you feel like you're in the mountains riding a bike. I recently dropped $30 on the ground and handed it in because I didn't realize it was mine until afterward. When I asked for it back I was told it was too late and they would need to check the cameras. I was told that I would be contacted. If the money wasn't claimed, it's store policy to give it back to me. A few weeks later I was told it had been donated to charity as it was not claimed, despite asking several times, being told I would be contacted, and attending every day. 90% Of staff have all been women, why? Their treadmills sometimes shut off for no reason and if you're running like I do, you're going to go hurdling over the machine. So far it hasn't happened as almost none of the people here run. I've been told off for having my phone play some quiet music once, meanwhile, I am forced to listen to the gym's rubbish over the speakers nonstop every second. Once I noticed people with my bottle, bringing it back into the room. They didn't know that I saw them in the mirror and they gave each other a sinister thumbs up like they had done something to it and put it back. It's a unique bottle and the only bottle in the room. I was so confused that I didn't approach them and instead reported it. When I complained I was told they would check the cameras and get back. They never did. When I asked why I was told half the cameras don't work or record, which is a lie as we can see a screen behind the desk recording everything on the cameras and I'm certain there is a policy for keeping recordings for many months. I never saw the people again, so perhaps action was taken, but to leave me in the dust about it and to make silly claims is unprofessional. If I could write more I would, but this is the maximum word allowance.

Positive experience: Good sized gym, recently undergone some renovations to uplift the space.

Negative experience: The Staff are nice and the Crèche is excellent, unfortunately that’s where the positives end. If your thinking of joining for weights training I would reconsider, whilst the equipment is mostly in excellent condition it’s poorly laid out and offers minimal space to be creative, there are only three seated benches and minimal mirrors. However the worst thing is the sold out classes, you can forget about going to the toilet or finding a place to stretch, usually classes in rooms catered for 10 people have 30 participants spilling out into the hallways and you have to interrupt to pass through. IMO, this gym needs to shut for three months, undergo a total upstairs overhaul to rectify what is a a very run down building. In addition, a re organisation of the gym equipment to make better use of the space and to cap class numbers.

Fantastic experience: Presently doing 7day trial and enjoyed Zumba, Aerobics and Yoga. Yet to try Fit Ball and Step next week. Will definitely be joining up as I'm enjoying it so much.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym!!! Such an inviting, accommodating, Non-Judgemental and super friendly place! I have been doing Pilates classes for over a year now and look forward to my classes with my instructors! All the staff I have had interaction with are absolutely lovely! Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been so motivated to go to the gym before! Fantastic equipment, facilities and very lovely staff. I usually do the spin classes - a huge challenge but it leaves you feeling so good afterwards! Instructors are also great and very encouraging. I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone :)

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. In fact this the only gym I’ve ever genuinely enjoyed going to (I’m a couch potato). Great variety of machines and classes, not to mention a sauna and massage chair available to book. You can check out how many people are in the gym using the member portal which is a nice feature if you want to avoid peak times.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, very modern, well priced and friendly staff. I would get a membership here but due to being under 18 I'm only allowed to go during staffed hours which I find to be very limiting.

Positive experience: The creche is excellent! It's the only reason why we have kept our membership. Otherwise members have very poor etiquette. People will hog equipment or whole sections of the weight room for more than an hour at a time. Others will stand there having a half hour conversation and not let someone else use equipment or weights that they 'are using'. It's way too busy during peak times, lacking the space and equipment for the number of people who are there. You either need to go at an off-peak time or have three hours free to get a workout in.

Fantastic experience: Since my wife and I joined we have been sooo happy with Benefitness! Membership prices are second to none. Staff are super friendly and helpful. 24hr access is easy and secure/safe. Equipment are well maintained with plenty of space. The list of positives goes on, nothing negative to report here!
