Negative experience: Not going back

Negative experience: The toilets there are always horribly in a bad condition. People there, especially young adults (teenagers??) Leave all the weights on the ground and make a big mess. This mostly happens at night.

Negative experience: I had a frustrating experience at this gym due to the dreadful service at the front desk. The counter lady was unhelpful and seemed genuinely uninterested in assisting me. When I had questions about day pass options, she gave curt and dismissive responses, making me feel like a burden. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking and made my visit incredibly unpleasant. The gym’s facilities might be fine, but the poor customer service at the front desk completely overshadowed any positives. I would not recommend this gym based on my experience.

Negative experience: Rang ahead of time asking what time staffed hours would be and if I could come trial the gym as I just moved to the area and was currently a fitness first member. Told it would be fine over the phone but when I came in told I had to pay $20 for a "casual visit" and that the club didn't offer free trials anymore as "sales were up". Piss poor mentality from a gym to take away free trials as you're doing well. I've been going to the gym for close to 10 years at this point and have trialled many a gym and never been asked to pay for a first time visit. Reluctantly paid it as I wasn't thinking straight, and when I asked 5 minutes later for a refund, the manager declined it saying "oh you can use it towards a gym key if you sign up". Just greedy business practices and an awful representation of your brand. Was considering signing up as it's within walking distance to my house, but I'll be sticking with fitness first out of principle.

Negative experience: Gym is clean and equipment is usually well kept although can take a while for machines to be repaired after they fail. Classes are few and far between so timetable doesn't work well for people who work early shifts. You go in the afternoon and the place is packed with people and you can be waiting 15-20 mins for a machine or waiting on greedy people putting a towel or water bottle on machines while they sit and chat to friends or play on their phone.

Fantastic experience: Plus Fitness Padstow is the BEST gym! Equipment is fantastic, love the treadmills! I have the best PT Ramia who has helped me become so strong and has helped me to improve my posture, especially during weight training!!

Fantastic experience: Plus Fitness Padstow is an incredible place to train. For starters, the staff are incredibly kind, full of knowledge and great all round. The gym itself is top tier! Has a range of new and heavy duty equipment which is great to use and the gym is cleaned every single day by the staff. Moreover members of Padstow Plus Fitness are amazing and have made heaps of new friends at the gym. Thanks heaps Team!

Negative experience: I am a personal trainer by trade; I also enjoy training with my friends and family. I joined Plus fitness for just that reason so that I could train with a friend and my sister (training partners). We regularly went to the gym, trained together, dressed appropriately, put all our equipment away, kept to ourselves, made sure not to hog any equipment and be polite to everyone around us. The trainers at Plus know Im a trainer at another gym. They approached me believing I was “training” clients on their premises. I assured them that wasn’t the case and offered to provide evidence as well as advising that I was training with my friend and sister as they can see on their video evidence. They refused to listen to me and said that I could only train there on my own now. I said that wasn’t fair that I pay full membership but not be permitted to train WITH friends and family. They said they had evidence of wrongdoing however when I asked to see the evidence they said they didn’t have to show me it. I asked to speak to the owner to resolve this issue as all I wanted to do was train with my friends and family (who also pay a membership at this gym) in peace; however I was advised the owner doesn’t wish to speak to me. I have taken the matter to fair trading as I can’t see any reason why my actions - the same actions as many other gym attendees - the right to train with whom ever they choose - should be denied because of my profession and an insinuation that because I am a trainer I have some ulterior motive. It’s very upsetting because up until this I thought I had got on well with the trainers of plus fitness.

Fantastic experience: Great local gym the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend the gym for someone starting out or starting up again.. Your in good hands... But be warned there is a bakery next store

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend plus fitness Padstow enough. The trainers, the staff, the facilities all amazing. The classes are fantastic. I’ve had an injury from training at other gyms and Matt Brown (the trainer at PF24/7) has helped me rehabilitate my injuries and continue training, he’s the best in the industry. I’ve referred so many of my family and friends, including both my teenage kids. 5 stars from me.

Fantastic experience: Love the classes. Matt is amazing as a PT. He is the master of techniques and very focused on your progress. Matt pushes you and helps you achieve your goals. Very lovely and caring group of people. It is like one BIG FAMILY.

Negative experience: The gym is ok. Recently refurbished so it's good to see the wall stains painted over. Customer service, however, is as poor as can be. I am a regular member of plus fitness and only go on weekdays, so one weekend when I took my wife and sister to this gym so that they sould speak with someone, the door alarm beeped (they had entered without access tags). We made our way straight to the office door and realised they do not have staff available on the weekends. While we were reading this information on the door, a guy who happens to be one of the staff members/trainers (name not known) approached us and extremely rudely pointed out that I wasn't allowed to give non members access and doing so means my access can be revoked. When we tried to explalin we had come to sign up the two ladies and were not aware the office will be closed, his response was something along the lines of, 'you need to leave and come back when office is open' Certainly not one of of 'Australia's Friendliest Gym' that the Plus Fitness chain claims to be.

Fantastic experience: Clean, the facility smells nice, lots of sanitary stuff and not that crowded. I also noticed that the gym goers here are responsible with the gym equipment. The boxing area is in a separate room which I also like. Kudos to the PF Padstow team!

Fantastic experience: Its a clean, spacious, functional workout space, with a great, friendly atmosohere. Their gym layout is practical, which not only ensures safety, but provides the comfort of having your own space.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful customer experience, my partner is trying to cancel and it could not be more painful. We have moved out of Sydney, and the person on the phone had the audacity to ask her for a rental agreement and a bill. Are you actually joking? This is a complete invasion of personal privacy. Update: My partner provided proof and we went into the gym, we thought it was finally behind us. So you can imagine our frustration when 1 month later she was charged again! We called up the gym and the lady on the phone was awful. First she blamed my partner, and then once my partner politely explained everything she blamed her staff members. She then said that there was nothing she could do and we had to come in again! Another 2 hour round trip apparently just to cancel this membership. Not worth it. Ended up calling our bank and providing all the correspondence and they were more than happy to remove them from our direct debit. Stay away from this gym at all cost because if you ever need to leave they will fight you tooth and nail.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for a year now. The staff are very friendly, and the members are all respectful. Would definitely recommend it. Everyone is very friendly. It is very clean and a safe atmosphere to train.

Negative experience: The owner of the gym stalks around monitoring everything and watching on camera and if he doesnt like something will confront you in the middle of them gym infront of all the clientele. As a woman this is very intimidating. I suggest if you are a single woman think twice as it's a scary experience.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym since I moved to the area. The trainers are awesome and all the classes are taught to a very high standard. The trainers take the time to ensure that everyone learns the correct techniques. I have been going to the boot camps and morning classes because the classes are fun, varied and the other members are friendly. I know that I am much stronger than when I started training here. From time to time there are some fun challenges to participate in.

Fantastic experience: I love plus fitness padstow! It is super convenient, because it is 24/7 access to members, so I can go whenever I want without waiting for them to open. The staff are always welcoming and willing to help and answer any questions you have, they make you feel comfortable in a place that can often make people feel uncomfortable, and are always so friendly and positive. I cannot recommend them enough, especially Ramia!

Fantastic experience: Trainers are highly knowledgeable and approachable, especially Matt. His focus on correct technique before adding extra resistance has helped me avoid injury, as well as smash PB's! Bootcamp sessions are intense and the group are so welcoming and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly gym where a mum of two who hasn't seen a gym in over 10yrs can come and have a chat with friendly staff but also get great fitness advice from the wonderful PT's who are willing to create workouts just for your ability. Equipment is of the highest standard and cleanliness is a must at this gym. Plus who can go past a gym that's open 24/7.

Fantastic experience: Moved from NZ to Sydney and was very skeptical about joining any other gym other than Snap Fitness. However, Plus Fitness Padstow made me feel right at home. From the minute I walked into those doors I felt warm and welcomed by the staff and the people. Almost 2 years later and will still continue to brag about how amazing Plus Fitness Padstow is, from the awesome trainers and gym family, to the amazing equipment but most of all to the great atmosphere! If you're looking to have fun whilst achieving fitness goals "LOOK NO FURTHER" Plus Fitness Padstow is the way to go. P.S. little secret join the classes they're so much fun :)

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. The staff are always sanitising the equipment before and after lockdown period. Everything is so clean and tidy. The patrons are so friendly and helpful, good to see decent gym goers instead of the hoggers. I just love the friendliness of everyone at this gym including the staff.

Fantastic experience: Plus Fitness Padstow is well maintained. It’s usually not over crowded and you can use the machine when you want to. It is clean and has enough floor space to have your own spot to exercise. Their bench press also has a safety bar, which I find very comforting to know.

Fantastic experience: Me and my wife are members of this gym.The best feature of this gym is its 24hrs and the membership fee is reasonable. There are lots of strength machines and good number of cardio machines. Another good feature is the body sprays they keep at front table which is very handy.The membership process was pretty smooth. Once the renovation is over I think this place will be even better.

Positive experience: I haven't visited the Padstow GYM for a while as it was a few things, which concerned me. Today visit was a nice surprise, all equipment were clean. The air quality was good. Only two thing which need attention. First the downstairs toilet wasn't in the best condition and the downstairs bubbler wasn't working and the staff was not aware of that. But when I informed the staff about it he told me that he will inform the management. I hope my review will help.
