Negative experience: Only 2 massage chairs in vicpark and they're not a strong as the rivervale ones maybe they need servicing. Always people on them and always having 2 rounds even tho people r waiting. Toilets are so dirty they just need a good scrub and regular cleaning. I always feel gross after a workout here. Rivervale is much friendlier and cleaner with less crowds.

At this stage, we aren’t planning to bring the boxing bag back to Victoria Park, but we really appreciate your feedback and will make sure it’s passed on to the team. Positive experience: The gym is fine. It has most of the equipment for a workout and it’s generally in good condition. The problem with Revo in general is the lack of rules enforcement. Work boots, no shoes, no towels, members allowing others into the studio, vaping and other violations of rules seem to be ignored. It’s the members that make the experience poor. staff are good to great in terms of being polite.

Negative experience: Revo Fitness promotes itself as having "no hidden fees" and "no lock-in contracts." However, if you don’t have sufficient funds during their first attempt to process your payment, they charge you AUD 60 instead of the agreed monthly fee of AUD 43—just for missing one payment attempt. When I asked to cancel my membership, they required me to visit in person to do so. I couldn’t manage that due to my busy schedule. After a few months, I sent another email stating that I would take action if they didn’t cancel my membership. They responded saying they would cancel it, but I would still need to pay AUD 28 due to their "30-day notice period." I am now planning to take the necessary action against them. In short: don’t believe their claims of "no hidden fees" or "no lock-in contracts."

Fantastic experience: Joined 6 weeks ago. Great space with great equipment. I'm a newbie so I booked sessions with a trainer. Sean is brilliant and having a clear plan and someone showing me how to do things properly is a great help. It's also made me turn up consistently. I've just turned 66 and everyone is many decades younger than me but I feel welcomed. The young woman,Kim, who predominantly staffs the front desk is a huge asset. She's always welcoming and very supportive. Joining Revo and using the Vic Park gym is the best investment I've made for my physical and mental health. I'm loving the weights and strength training. I even enjoy squats!

Fantastic experience: Not really too sure why there’s a handful of negative reviews because this gym is pretty insane… it’s got absolutely everything you need and more. Reformer Pilates, an endless number of squat racks, friendly staff, so many free weights and different rooms for you to train in. It’s super clean and tidy and everything is an OCD sufferers dream. Only thing I will say is they don’t have lockers (which I think is quite bad as you can’t lock your valuables away) and the bathrooms/showers are average. Otherwise I really don’t think you can complain for the value of the membership.

Negative experience: Affordable with a convenient location. Equipment is often in a state of disrepair, and the ceiling is prone to leaking making equipment unusable. Lovely staff are spread too thin to ensure gym remains tidy and gymgoers usually lack to etiquette to put away weights after they're done. Good budget gym option but you might find yourself frustrated.

Negative experience: The worst gym I've ever attended. They put you in a membership that then they continue to charge you even if you don't want to go anymore. Like you should warn 30 days before that you are going to have an unforeseen event so that they don't steal your money? A shame.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with lots of equipment. Saw previous reviews mention air con/cleaning issues but these have all been fixed now. Really good how much value you get for such an affordable price. Gym is not as busy now since Rivervale opened. Staff are great and welcoming too.

Negative experience: This use to be very good but has drastically declined in the last year. It’s terrible now. - Majority of the equipment is quite old - None of the pulley machines run smoothly - When new equipment is brought in, it looks like they pulled it out of another gyms bin. New benches were brought in and they are so old they look dangerous to use. - Upstairs they have the windows permanently closed so there is a very intense BO smell that takes a while to get use to. - They have 4 Novofit stationary bikes, 3 of those bikes have had damaged seats for the last 6 months which make it difficult to even use the bike. - I’ve noticed the same rubbish left in lockers for months on end. - The water fountains are constantly out of order because they require a new filter every 2 months and staff aren’t very organised to replace it so they just stay out of order. Please just do better. Ps. If you’re going to give me some automated response, don’t bother

Negative experience: The cleanliness of the gyms in general is really poor. Their staff should be checking and they don’t. The entry main entry doors to the toilets (that go from the gym floor into the sink/hand dryer area) ant Northbridge are disgusting. Caked with grime from people’s hands and it’s been that way for months. The toilets themselves are vile, yellow staining all over the bowl and crap all over the floors. Gross. I’ve watched the cleaner in the morning and they are do not do a good job. Revo staff should pay more attention to hygiene, otherwise they deserve a visit from the health department.

Negative experience: Apparently if you upgrade to level 2 via app while still being an active level 1 member, you will not be allowed into the gym until you pay the level 2 fee during staffed hours. Well, I still paid for level 1 access, doesn’t make any sense to not be allowed there. Drove 30 minutes for nothing.

Negative experience: Unfortunately this is the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been to, dirty bandaids sit on the gym floor for weeks at a time, the ladies toilets are a disgrace, feces left on toilet for 2 months, I’ve seen it cleaned properly once and then it stopped! There is dust everywhere, I’m shocked they get away with this, the health department should pay them a visit!! I’ll take photos and add them……

Negative experience: I’m membership of Level 2 and I’m heavy user for the studio. I usually use for Cannington but this time I went to Victoria park. The studio is smaller than Cannington one. It was really surprised that how the studio size is different. Pirates machines are only four so I went around 10:30am and all machines are already occupied. I didn’t expect that the studio is really small.

Negative experience: Plenty of power racks available and newly renovated interior are both nice to see. The gym is separated into two floors which makes everything feels disconnected. The ground floor is stuffy and has terrible air circulation which made for a bad workout experience. Some of the equipment looks old, some are rusty. Change rooms looked poorly maintained and had minimal air circulation. Like others have said, the gym has a weird vibe. Better air con and more open space/fewer dividing walls would be a good step forward.

Positive experience: Pretty good for the price but there were some issues with the cable machines being broken and boxing bag placement but both have been fixed now. There are still some minor issues but otherwise it is nice for the price compared to other gyms.

Negative experience: have been to a few revo locations and this one is the worst by far. machines in desperate need of servicing, felt uncomfortable using them. space is cramped and feels really claustrophobic in there. definitely need a bigger venue as the size does not accommodate the amount of people that are always there (can never get a bench!!)

Positive experience: Very difficult to change weight plates on some machines due to heavy rust. Plus, it comes off the machines and gets all over you. It's a shame because it's in a great location and well fitted out. I hope it improves.

Negative experience: I don't think the showers have ever been cleaned. Mould on the walls for weeks now. Guys cleaning their ears and leaving the cotton buds on top of the stall. Its grim.

Positive experience: I really like this place. Very near from where I live. However, I have noticed that there are people who are hovering over equipments whilst we are obviously using those. It's not only me, I see others being disturbed by this nuisance. I know some of them are new to the gym culture but I should recommend to please give patrons reminder over the speaker to not hover over equipments whilst people are using it. Just because we are using our phones does not mean we are not using the equipments, we are obviously resting for few minutes after a set. Overall, I would definitely still recommend this gym, not only affordable but also the staff members are awesome

Fantastic experience: So far, so great. Joined up yesterday online. Got a free duffle bag. Grabbed my swipe card. The lovely Stella showed me around since I'd never set foot inside a Revo before. It's a lot bigger than it looks because there are rooms upstairs. I joined as a Level 2 member because I really wanted access to the reformer pilates. Gym has 24/7 access. The app has a function where you can see how busy it is in the gym. Bring a friend for free on Saturdays during staffed hours. Also recommending a mate to come so we'll both get two weeks free! Woo!

Negative experience: When I went in to get my new member key, the lady didn't say much, just nodded at me. There was no showing me around the facilities, just heres your key cya later. I'll give her 5 stars for her smile though, she managed to hold an extremely fake smile the whole 2 minute interaction I can't comment on the actual facilities as I've only been in once, and I did go round in a circle because I had no idea where to find anything.

Positive experience: It is somehow hotter inside than outside in summer I would love some airflow

Negative experience: No staff around 6pm although they write the staff time is until 8pm. I and many people outside gave up because we cannot get the key to get in as the new membership. I think that many people work from 8 to 5, so they are impossible for coming during work hours to finalise the membership with Revo Fitness.

Positive experience: Nice gym and good facilities, love it as my local gym BUT please fix the air-conditioning. It's a sauna in that place during summer - I walk in and walk straight back out sometimes cause I'm already sweating before my workout. That's not the conditions most people wanna work out in! Other than that, all is good.

Negative experience: Despite the gym being revamped last year, there is no aircon or airflow throughout the entire gym. All of the equipment is rusted because of the constant condensation. It is ridiculously hot and damp, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we all get mold toxicity down the track. 2 stars for having 8 squat racks.

Negative experience: I go to Revo here in Vick Park and lately the gym has been terrible!! the music is very loud on both floors, the air conditioning upstairs doesn't even seem to be working properly. the bathrooms are just dirty, the toilet in the women's bathroom on the second floor has been dirty inside for days, the unisex bathroom downstairs is always dirty, stinks of piss, often without toilet paper and soap to wash your hands. The gym seems "abandoned"!

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this gym. 1) No Parking 2) if parked somewhere probably have to walk 300 mtrs 3) No back door entry 4) No proper Machines 5) Always have some issue with Machines I can go on and on

Negative experience: This place has consistently the worst communication possible. Some of us are extremely busy, and don't have time to wait around during staffed hours for staff who aren't even at their desk. Been waiting for at least half an hour to speak to someone at the desk, nobody in sight. I have tried calling more than five times every single day for six days prior to figuring "I'll just drive there" and every day it goes to voicemail. It's completely unacceptable. There were about six people who had all been waiting alongside me who simply needed to be tagged in so they could work out. Really annoying as a night shift worker that the one day I've finally had free to try and upgrade my membership, nobody is even available. And when someone does pick up the phone, you get one word answers from someone who sounds like they don't want to be there. Thinking of changing gyms.

Positive experience: Equipment is a bit outdated and some broken equipment still hasn't been fixed or replaced. The renovation works have been going on for a while and don't seem to be ending any time soon.

Positive experience: Great facility and a decent size. I like the range of equipment (although there are implements I still desire!) But for the price and convenience I can't really complain. I know others have complained about parking, so that's something to bare in mind. I live locally so it's pretty easy for me, and the location on the main Street makes it pretty easy to get to.

Negative experience: Very bad service, one renovation supposed to be 2 months, you decide to wait because is mandatory stay 1 additional month+15 days of the your next payment, just before opening they decide extend the renovations for another 2 months, it's obvious that it was planned. What is his solution?, go to other branches, all of them far away and crowded.

Positive experience: Its a well equipped gym and worth every penny you pay. Easy access. Only downside I see is that its too crowded. Equipments are always taken in peak hours and you got to wait for sometime for your turn.

Negative experience: After the renovation the place still feels small. The temperature is always on the cooler side inside and make warming up a lot harder before a workout. The lights downstairs blind your eyes as you try to bench which is pretty annoying.

Positive experience: Comparing it to other revos, the machine variety is very limited and this is the only revo with no boxing bag, the staff promised there would be one but that was already a month ago, even before the renovation the bag is never replaced, also no place to put or hang your stuff on downstair toilet. Last but not least the massage chair is much better at cannington revo and the lights downstair near the squatting area is too bright.

Negative experience: After 4 month of rennovation that has probably be done by mikey mouse the gym look snaller they removed many things! It look like all they have done is paint walls and change sinks! Il start going to belmont again even if i have to take my car and drive 15 mins

Fantastic experience: Great gym with easy 24/7 access. Now that it’s been renovated there’s updated machines to use. Revo gives you access to all gyms over the state (unsure on country) which is handy.

Positive experience: Price is good but too many members have been allowed to join so can be incredibly busy. Maintenance is terrible! In the 3+ years I’ve been going here the only thing they have done is paint the walls & ceiling black to cover the mould. Gym is always dirty and cleaners barely do anything whenever I’ve seen them in there. Machines are basic and a lot have issues and need fixing/replacing. Considering how nice some of the other Revo gyms look this ones has to be one of the worst, yet we pay the same membership fee.

Negative experience: Needs alot of maintenance, literally had trafic cones with tape fencing off random areas. cleaner literally vacuumed around my feet while I did curls.

Positive experience: Cheap and convenient. Bring a full water bottle, this one has been out of order for weeks.

Positive experience: Parking is quite bad which is pretty standard for Victoria Park, the gym itself is quite old as well but has all the standard equipment you'd expect and the staff are friendly.

We love the character of the building, and glad you're enjoying the equipment. Positive experience: My local gym, the facilities are excellent, staff very friendly and trainers insightful and good value for money. However the AC is pretty useless on super hot days so can turn into a sauna in high summer.

Negative experience: It does the job. Equipment and building is extremely dated. Lots of water damage and mould issues which is concerning considering the amount of air everyone's breathing in whilst working out. PTs are not attentive and hard to book sessions with. Would rather make the extra travel to use a new Revo gym that has upgraded equipment, healthy buildings and responsive staff.

Negative experience: "Be Kind" - as a poster said on the door - Have been a member for almost 2 years. I actually like this branch for I find their members have good gym etiquette (wiping, returning weights, dumbbells in order). However, experienced the same as other recent reviews with regards to vaccine certificate. Went on foot to Revo after being away for a while (didn't even suspend my membership). Searched my email inbox for revo to see if there was notice about proof of vax, nothing (Last email was 7 Feb 21), I thought oh they must have had a way to cover their opening hours for checking vax. So, psyched myself up for a 6.30am start, when I reached my key didn't work at the door, then another lady tried with her key also didn't work (at this point, I suspected it must be vaccine cert related - understandable), members inside alerted a Revo-uniformed PT and she went out. There I was standing with my vaccine certificate handy only to be told she coulndn't sight my vaccine certificate because she wasn't a receptionist. The part that got me the most, the lady whose key didn't work as well got greeted by first name basis and let in, so did the guy that was with her (who didn't tag his key on the door, so i don't know whether his key would work). And i still have my covid vaccine cert open and had the whole cardio section watching. 'I know.. it's annoying, isn't it?' was the best I got. Hate to pull this card but I was POC and the members let in weren't, neither is the PT. I had to do the walk of shame home, hyped in preworkout. Regardless of the nature of the relationship between the uniformed PT and the Gym, they were affiliated to the gym. There are ways to remain accountable to the mandate, especially one has got the accepted proof of vaccines and not just trying to covince you I'm vaccinated empty handed. I guess "Be Kind" was expected - not necessarily offered.
Hi Yoel, we appreciate your feedback.All members were contacted by email on the 17/01/2022 to let members know about the upcoming certificate requirements, and we also had signage in club to notify members. We extended our staffed hours for 2 weeks to make it as easy as possible for our members to attend the gym during staffed hours to show their certificates or exemptions.We really care about our members having the best experience possible, and as explained over the phone we are investigating this further.Thanks for supporting local.
Positive experience: Update Pros 1 Cheap and relatively easy to park at the back 2 staff do go around and clean some equipment 3 easy communication with management Cons 1 Too busy ( sporadic gym session , hard to follow a routine because machines generally busy) 2 Gym equipment quite old 3 Maintenance of building and toilets really poor, with a lot of water damage. Urgently needs an upgrade- some renovations happening last week of August 4 terms and conditions misleading. 30 days cancellation plus one whole month billing cycle ( so definitely locked it for more than 5 weeks...) 5 towel policy not reinforced ( trainers train people without towels) 6 shoe policy signage stating that people must wear shoes. However not reinforced. 7 not enough toilets and showers
