Fantastic experience: Ive been a member of Fernwood for years, have had memberships on and off to suit my health and lifestyle. Fernwood has always been supportive of my decisions. A very friendly and clean environment. I have also had PT with multiple trainers some who have left and still here. Mel has been my on and off PT, I also see her as a very great friend who has supported me the hole way through, even if I’m inconsistent with my training. All round it’s a safe place to be and feel loved.

Fantastic experience: LENORA IS THE BEST PERSONAL TRAINER. Her drive to motivate members of the gym is constantly displayed and never goes without being seen! Her positivity makes every set so much easier as she pushes individuals to complete their workouts to their full potential. Would definitely recommend attending a class or private training session with her as she never disappoints.

Fantastic experience: I was a member of Derrimut 24/7 for years, but switching to Fernwood Cairnlea was the best decision I’ve made! The team here is incredibly lovely and friendly, creating such a welcoming environment. The gym is always spotlessly clean, and it’s clear the staff and other members value and respect this as well. While they may not have the extensive range of equipment found in larger gyms, they offer a great variety to suit all fitness needs. Bonus points for the wide range of class options, perfect for those who prefer alternatives to weightlifting. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Attending past PT and gym at Cairnlea Fernwood has played a huge part in my fitness journey - I've made some real in-roads with my overall strength, flexibility and overall well-being! All the staff, from reception, class instructors and PTs are always so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable - there is a bit of something for everyone, no matter if you're just starting out, or are a regular gym-lover! Shout out to Romina, when I had to overcome an injury, she was a motivating, patient and knowledgeable presence - adjusting my PT sessions accordingly to focus more on recovery and rehab - now I'm back on track and can focus on the rest of my fitness goals and aims for the ladies out there, I couldn't imagine working out anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym so much. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Great programs with strength, cardio, Hiit, a variety of group fitness classes, mat pilates as well as reformer. The sauna is great as well. A very friendly, welcoming environment and having a members lounge is a great place to chill before or after your workout and chat the other members. Love the trainers, other staff and chatting with all the other gym members. Very inclusive gym.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! I've dealt with gym anxiety at other places, which really affected my consistency with working out. But ever since I joined Fernwood, the staff have been incredibly supportive and encouraging, helping me stay on track with my health goals. In all honestly, the membership is not cheap, however, considering the ton of free classes available and nonjudgmental atmosphere I personally believe it is money well spent. Also a quick shout-out to Mel! She’s been so welcoming and truly dedicated to her clients' fitness journeys.

Also, special thanks for the breakfast bat varieties - many healthy options (sugar free peanut butter, unsweetened almond milk, wholemeal bread etc) I would highly appreciate dairy 82% fat or more butter option too, thanks!

Fantastic experience: More and more women are joining women’s gym only and I’m one of them. I have been with Fernwood CAIRNLEA since 2019 their staffs, personal trainers, coaches and front of the house staffs are friendly, has vibrant personalities and are not tired of greeting you in and out of the gym. I feel that in this gym my personal health goals are supported in a non judgemental, safe and quiet environment. My PTs Carol S and Melissa T are very supportive and caring with my health, target goals and helping me slowly in gaining back my strength especially after my surgery. Highly recommending FERNWOOD CAIRNLEA that has 10/10 service. Come and check it out yourself.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym!!! It’s super clean, staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing like an all ladies gym where you feel safe and secure while working out. Everything is so well thought off from the members lounge to the infrared sauna and changing rooms. What appealed to me most is that they have everything here to suit everyone from their PT sessions, HIIT & strength programs to reformer Pilates and group fitness classes. The list is long and it makes me get excited knowing I get to try it all. I also find it amazing there I am able to find women of all age groups here. Easily for 14 - 80’s. What a beautiful community of women they have here at Cairnlea. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Every time I walk into this club I am always greeted warmly by the lovely staff. I’ve been doing Reformer Pilates for a few months now and I’ve been LOVING it! I feel so comfortable in this gym and all the staff and members are always so supportive and genuine.

Positive experience: I'm thoroughly impressed with the care this facility takes to keep its members updated on general information eg; maintenance happening in or around the general building or, if and when a male will be present in the facility. The staff are all lovely and always happy to assist with anything. It's a very welcoming and friendly environment and I feel valued as a member here. I would give 5 stars based on these factors alone. But with all Fernwood gyms, the memberships are always higher than other gyms and the equipment isn't the most up to date and this is with all Fernwoods I've been to so far not specifically this one only.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always had a bit of gym anxiety which has prevented me from ever joining. When I moved to Cairnlea I went for a tour at fernwood and the women there were absolutely beautiful, warm and supportive. I felt extremely comfortable and at ease. It’s a true community in the gym, we cheer each other on for achieving our personalised goals, and check in when we haven’t seen an individual for a while. I can’t recommend this gym and the fernwood community enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been to over 10 gyms in my life-time and all were short-term memberships. I commit, but due to the environment, never go back. Being a female only gym I feel completely comfortable and safe. I don't have to be concerned with anyone watching over me, I do my work out and leave. I love the fact that it's a female only gym and the facilities are outstanding. If I am running late for an appointment, I have a shower there with all the amenities provided including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, hair straightener, tissues, body spray etc.. You name it they will provide it...Did i mention the breakfast bar and coffee facilities!!!!! Amazing. Gosh I haven't even touched on the staff. All are extremely friendly and helpful. Amanda, Thu and her team all provide excellent customer service. They even have child minding! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Fernwood Cairnlea for about 10 yrs. They have recently updated all the facilities, new infrared sauna and reformer Pilates, as well as more strength training equipment. Great group fitness timetable as well. Staff are very friendly, it’s nice to walk in very early in the morning and be greeted with a smile. All trainers are knowledgeable, prepared to support and challenge their clients.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Cairnlea a gym accommodated for females which is great. It has been such a life saver for my wife who has a busy schedule, she can workout whenever she needs to and it is her own space and her own me-time. Staff and the members are friendly and motivating. My wife tells me it is like one big happy family and every one is extremely encouraging.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Cairnlea has been great, the staff there are extremely friendly, welcoming as well as accommodating and understanding especially for people with busy lives. The facility is open 24/7, so rain or shine you can work out with a peace of mind. They are very prompt with their follow up with any questions needing to be answered. It's been great working at a female gym where you can just be yourself and workout peacefully without worries. I would recommend it definitely to anyone starting out, getting back into the gym or just want a workout.

You can never be confused as there are available trainers on site or front desk. they also provided trainers if you are a first timer as well as healthcare tips, nutrition, goal workout plans, and fitness classes all can be also be found on Fernwood app but honestly I give applause to the personal trainers because not only do they keep you on tract but also keep it fun, enjoyable and motivates you to continue with your fitness journey, hands down I would recommend to a friend. #strongwomen #women-empowerment #fernwood #diversity

Fantastic experience: Fernwood has a range of different group classes (spin, HIIT, etc) and essential equipment ~ however being able to interact with other amazing strong women has been a great experience. Shoutout to Abby for being such a great motivator **DISCLOSURE** sign up with the intention of staying long term - some contracts are locked in and you have to let the gym 1-2months in advance before leaving and during that duration you will still be billed.

Negative experience: The facilities, equipment and app are really good however the pressure to sign up to challenges and the way money is a priority is why I left. They say they care about their members and at times this was the case but the few negative interactions I had with particular staff members left me feeling dejected and low. I think the staff need more training in their approach and interactions with members. Just a very money hungry gym in my opinion. Child care however was awesome!

Negative experience: They don’t clarify/disclose a lot of things. Poor customer service.

Negative experience: Tremendous pressure to enrol! and wouldn't recommend anyone coming here because the one lady who was accusing my daughter last week of trespassing even though she had a membership had no idea of having her card since she hasn't been there in a while because the last time she went was with me a couple of weeks ago. The lady was giving a very rude, sarcastic tone and threatened my 14-year-old daughter with a fine! Although I have observed the entire staff to be quite friendly, I did not anticipate an adult woman to be conversing with my daughter in such a way I was unbelieved when she she came home and told me this no one’s child should ever be experiencing this nasty behaviour especially from an adult.

Fantastic experience: I’m very happy at Fernwood Cairnlea. The staff are very friendly and quick to help. Today I couldn’t get into the gym after hours (my fault, was not holding my pass long enough) I DM’d on Facebook and the response was so fast and resolved. Thank you Amanda and staff! Love your work.

The facility has everything a person needs to workout, from child care, to classes, PT session, shower facility, 24/7 access, online app to see what classes you can book in, breakfast and coffee/tea provided. Catered to female, it feels less intimating when working out. They have a 7 day trial which is great

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Fernwood to the point where its almost become an addiction. I have never been sooo comfortable going to the gym. So many things to review so here is my list: - the staff are amazing and communicate thoroughly. They follow through quickly making sure you are one super happy customer. - the cleanliness is amazing, all the women know to clean the machines afterwards. I'm also loving the new wipe machines they just brought in. No longer needing to use the spray bottles. - my son who is 17 months loves going to the child minding section =). He loves the workers, as they are so friendly. The fact I even have that option is an absolute God send. - The culture of the place is very positive. Thank you so much Fernwood Cairnlea.

Negative experience: Its not a good option for single mother who works in the weekdays. They will never clarify this to you during admissions. Its a trap. Funny thing is you guys never find who is giving negative review.. Search my name in Cairnlea. While admission i told them that i will move to tarneit in November. They said they will freeze my account until the Weribee branch open.. last week they told me that i will have to pay every week to continue freezing my account.. what i fraud business. Last week i talk one of the team member.. she said they don’t have any plan to do childcare on Saturday . But here you still lying in front of public. I want my money back.

Fantastic experience: Fernwood Cairnlea is the perfect women’s gym. The atmosphere is always fantastic with welcoming, friendly staff who deliver superb customer service; whether it’s reception, a Fitness Coach or a Personal Trainer. I’ve been a member for just over 5 years now and wouldn’t go to any other club. The programs like Fiit30 & Revitalise (just to name a couple) keep me accountable, the knowledgable & experienced staff keep me motivated and the classes are a great escape for women to connect, let loose and have fun with the bonus of getting fit and getting results! The Fernwood app is also easy to use and conveniently allows me to book my classes and childcare ahead of time as well as use my customised program and view my body measurements via the unlimited body scans. The staff are always friendly, the facilities are always clean and they have a good variety of machines, classes etc. I’ve looked at gyms closer to my area but nothing compares to Fernwood Cairnlea!!! Fantastic experience: Fernwood Cairnlea is an amazing place to workout. the staff is super helpful, encouraging, and friendly. Their group classes are challenging and fun. It’s great to be able to really get stronger and have proper form in a group setting, while still getting that cardio in. The trainers are always so upbeat, motivating, knowledgeable and encouraging. The community they have built at this gym is incredible, and it is such a joy working out here. Definitely recommend and encourage everyone to try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Another criteria is cleanliness. Especially in these times, cleanliness has been a key criteria before I get into anything. The pandemic has reminded us that a clean space is a safe space. Keeping the gym clean is not just an effort by management because the members are also doing their part too. I have been in my happiest AND healthiest stage since I have been going to Fernwood Cairnlea. I am confident to bring in my full self whilst I taking time to be a better me everyday.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Fernwood Fitness Cairnlea for over a year and I love this gym from the get go. From the clean, neat layout and warm environment of the gym to the friendliess and professionalism of the staff (especially Amanda), I have no regrets being a member of this gym. What impresses me most, is the different classes that they offer that caters to the busy schedule of all working/stay-at-home mums, allowing them the flexibility to schedule a workout time around their busy schedules. I would strongly recommend Fernwood Fitness Cairnlea to all ladies, without hesitation, especially those who are looking to improve their physical health and fitness.

Negative experience: Very pushy when you sign up, misleading with 0 joining fee however have to pay for useless starter pack approx $160. To terminate the contract it costs $300 + 2 weeks notice/one more instalment and you personally have to go in and they will persuade you to stay.

Fantastic experience: Use to go here after the birth of my second son. I ended up moving to Perth so I asked and got a special deal. Very nice, supportive staff. You feel quite safe and the facilities are wonderful.

Negative experience: VERY PUSHY WHEN SIGNING UP!!! Was an okay gym until I decided to cancel!! Took money out of my Account even after I said I wanted to cancel as of a certian date. Recommended a few friends to go here but will be unrecommending this gym now. All they care about is money when they already charge a head. :( very disappointed will go elsewhere once I start back up at work!

Negative experience: I paid for the convenient because of it's only 2 mins drive from the house , other than that not really recommend this place enough, limited trading hours as well for us who work as a shift worker and for the cost of the money you pay around $40 plus fortnightly it is not what you get enough and rude customer service from the receptionist/PT'S.

Positive experience: Take it from me that if you're looking to put muscle size on (aka "toning"), womens only gyms aren't the best places for it. I've only learned this recently myself as I've been going to a womens only gym for 2 years. They are limited with weight equipment, although they are rarely used because all the women are cardio bunnies. Heaviest dumb bell at my gym was 10kg... no squat rack... no bench press... very limiting. And the women stare at you like you're crazy for lifting actual heavy weights lol. The trainers though are really cool and they always recommend weight training to women who don't listen (in fear they'll bulk up). AND WHY IS ALL THE EQUIPMENT AT FERNWOOD PINK AND GIRLY? YUCK! Lol
