Positive experience: Air con and air flow is good, adequate machines and weights, suffice floor space for stretching and core, steam room is the best I’ve seen in a gym in WA so far, parking is ample and right next to the gym. Staff are great and act quickly enough on issues. In reading the comments I’ll say this: 1: What poser needs mirrors over medicine balls? 2: I can’t comment about fees etc as I’ve had no reason to cancel, I moved from the Myaree club (terrible club) 3: I don’t hold back on reviews and the only active negatives I see are: A: At 5 pm it’s over run with gym bros and broccoli heads. I go at 5am so idc. B: Use of the steam and sauna is restricted to staffed hours being 0700-2000 m-th and 0700-1800 Friday. So unless you’re not working during the day, you’re pretty much not going to be able to use that. It’s for this reason it gets 4 stars. C: They could do with a decline bench press bench set up as there currently is no safe way to do that with a heavy weight.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTE THIEVES!! They Keep taking money after membership cancellation request numerous times over numerous weeks, this should rather be a very easy process once you have completed your contract. They are in the business of ripping people off. Very pathetic.

Negative experience: I am so disappointed with the customer service I have received from a gym I have been a loyal member with for at least 7 years now. I had my membership put on hold due to severe morning sickness throughout my pregnancy, I then asked for it to be extended due to having to have an unplanned cesarean, therefore medically unable to return to the gym for some time. I then noticed over $500 worth of payments had beed taken out of my account and I requested a refund they would not. I then asked for a credit as I did have plans to return to the gym when I was medically able to do so. All they would offer me was a $61 credit. They treated my case with no empathy or understanding for something that was completely out of my control and it is not like they would have been losing business as I was simply requesting a credit to use when I was able to return to the gym. It is very clear they are in it to make money out of their members and have no care for their client relationships. Disgusting service after being a loyal member for so long. I have since cancelled my membership. By the looks of plenty of their other reviews they have no interest in improving their customer service which goes to show they just want to make money out of their customers. They must also be very aware of loopholes in the law as people who have tried taking them to consumer protection never win.

Negative experience: After having to cancel due to medical reasons (sent in certificate too as requested) they continued to charge me for an extra three weeks and ignore my emails when I asked for an update. It sucks because I wanted to go back when I eventually recover, but not the case anymore. Pretty low human behaviour and definitely not a gym that cares about the members. The Pilates is cool though.

Negative experience: Sleazy sales tactics (Katie). 1. Forced into quarterly coaching fees, despite saying we didn't want it. 2. Trying to up-sell membership levels despite us insisting we had no use for them 3. Dishonest advertising, big flashing billboard "only $14.99 weekly, first month free", failed to mention the required quarterly coaching fees + lock in contract Go to Roar or Revo, they have much more honest and transparent business practices.

Negative experience: The customer service is absolutely disgusting! I have been sending the manager numerous emails for a whole week now regarding disgusting behaviour and another member almost getting injured by one particular lifter. Says she hasn't received any of my emails considering everyone else seems to get my emails just fine and i send a fair few per day? Also says she can't enforce any of the rules that are up unless client is with a trainer?? The manager needs to step up her game and do her job, but i guess going by some of the other reviews this is common behaviour for management here!

Positive experience: Very nice gym. Apart of a swimming pool, it has all the facilities required at a great gym. I love the classes but I must say that the music was too loud for my liking. I understand the majority of people likes super loud music at rpm or body pump, but that was not my case. Good instructors and helpful staff.

Negative experience: I joined goodlife at another club due to different classes being offered and the facilities, recently moved to Cockburn area and quiet disappointed that not only do the Success Goodlife have limited classes but they start at 9:15am excluding those who likes to work out before going to work. Currently feels like I am paying a high amount for a regular gym because it has nothing to offer apart from weights and workout machines.

Negative experience: Terrible gym, was accused of stealing headphones from another gym patron even though they were clearly mine. Not exactly sure if this is a gym or nightclub due to what people wear ( just my opinion) SOME PT's need to learn some basic manners and stop being so "cliquey" Stay away people.

Fantastic experience: Update : 3 Month ago I started an intensive program with a Personal Trainer at Good Life Club (Stephen Elliss) and added his special Saturday morning Boxing class, the results so far are amazing, a true transformation both Physically and even mentally. I have a feeling that on my next Birthday I will start reducing the number of Candles as I'm aging backwards. Fitter, stronger and healthier. Thanks to Good Life which is truly the way for Good Life. This particular Club in Cockburn is spacious, bright with nice views of the outside and friendly staff. Been a member since 2015.

Negative experience: Dear potential user of Goodlife, here is some questioning about the contract and the way Goodlife is looking at not considering the lack of accuracy in their contract. Although Covid-19 hurt everyone including the gyms, it also affect the individuals as us and some lack of clarification in the contract expose us to some issues during this potential individual hard time. First their client management initially tried to request a payment of the $195 although the amount due to cover the "end of contract" was less. After checking the contracts it was an obvious mistake. Then, here is the context, in early march last year we signed in with Goodlife, Few time after Goodlife indicates that they would put everyone on "time freeze". However the contract does not allow them to put on Time Freeze their clients except under their specific request and charged $5 week in our circonstances. (if platinium, you are entitle to some for free). The article 21 which is the one time freeze, defines that Time Freeze is to be added to the end of the initial contract. But this has never been requested by us. After reporting this to the Customer Managers, wrote back saying it was a stop linked to article 19 (safety and maintenance). Fine with this, nevertheless, the article19 does not indicate the report to the end of the contract neither being a condition for suspension define by article 5. In conclusion, we could easily define that loopholes are presenting the contract and that the customer management is clearly trying to go around their own contracts. I understand their suffer however we own went though COVID-19our ways and we have been paying our membership until the end of the initial agreed term. The contracts does not present the logic behind their process and therefore I present that to you for your own information and questioning of the process as it is clearly not acceptable.

Negative experience: The equipment seems good, gym is a good size. However, I'm a very disappointed in the customer service and access to personal trainers and consultants. I signed up for the 5 day trial and was hoping to speak with the trainer to get a membership. I was a little nervous going to the gym after a long gap. I was told to come at 8.30 am on Sunday and the trainer / consultant dint show up. I did my own thing with the cardio equipment and left. For the 5 day trial, I have no card or pass of any sort, not even a paper thing that I could show to gain entry. If I need to use the gym at 6 am on Monday, I have to request a member to let me in. It feels odd and embarrassing. I'm now thinking of trying other gyms in the area. The front desk person was friendly, but overall very disappointing service and process.

Negative experience: Joined the gym, changed my mind the next day I joined, relying on the cool off period of 7 days. Manager Andy Jenkinson confirmed via email cancellation was completed however second payment was taken from my account, called again at least 10 times, no answer, receptionists said the membership was cancelled so I called Debituscess to confirm this and they advised the membership was not cancelled. Went to to talk to them face to face, manager no at the premises, next week another member called me very politely to see if I wanted to join the gym (seriously?) so I complaint about it, he passed me to the "Customer service" manager (Jessica) who apologised and ensured she personally was going to be in charge of the case, and she will call me to give me an update. 2 days later and I havent received the call and no refunds have been made. Waiting to see if they are going to take the thrid payment and that would be me lodging a complaint with the WA consumer protection.

Negative experience: WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! If i could put no star i would. Don't bother with Goodlife Success. Constantly having equipment out of order for 2+ months (with no reassurance of being repaired). Toilets and drink fountains constantly out of order. Currently - smiths machine (out of order for 3+ weeks) Zip Tap out of order (3+ weeks) Disabled toilet (out of order AGAIN) Taps (constantly leaking)I feel sorry for the ladies at Reception who have to put up with the constant complaints. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone unless you are prepared to be disappointed.

Negative experience: When signing up up for membership I would advice everyone to ask for a copy of the contract to take home so that you can have a good read. When I signed up everything was rushed and do through the gym tablet, the person that signed me up did not tell me that you still get charged $5 every week when you put your membership on hold for when your away. The other thing is they don't tell you that your membership is back dated so of your contract is finished and you come an cancel your membership they charge you for the weeks you went away. This is the kind of scam this place operates with, management is useles they don't help with anything at all. This while experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and makes me miss my old gym anytime fitness.

Negative experience: They lied to me to get me into the program. The gym is nice but lying is unacceptable. In total, I paid more than $200 for 3 weeks. "You can always pause it." costs $5/w. No one told me about this "We have gyms in all major cities in Australia." I could have checked it myself but this is a lie. "You will get 3 training sessions with a professional trainer for free" Nope. Never got it. I called them, I asked them personally and got the answer "She will call you tomorrow" which she never did.

Negative experience: EDIT: apparently my cancellation has been made up today. Hope I don't receive debit after the finished date the 20th of May. Having such troubles to cancel my membership. It takes 2 minutes on their computer to do it, and the gym still get loads of money from your applicable fees or/and the 30 days notice period. Not capable of cancelling when asked, they make it last the most they can. Scammers. Don't go there.

Negative experience: Clean and fresh looking but broken machines- Some out of order for a few weeks. Even a few pins and knobs miss I g off some machines and no warnings.... Staff seem to keep themselves to themselves. Can get very busy. Convenient as in shopping centre

Negative experience: Won’t answer email’s, trying to cancel gym membership as I have no income coming in and am leaving town to a place where there is NO Goodlife, when I signed up I was rushed through all the signing so I did not get the chance to read anything. How about you think about your clients and understand that circumstances CHANGE. As you can probably see here you have many 1 star reviews, maybe it’s time somebody does something, it’s quantity over quality when it comes to Goodlife gyms.

Negative experience: The gym itself was fantastic. Heaps of classes and a wide range of equipment. My reason for the low review is that when I tried to cancel my membership I was told I had to finish out the year or pay a large fee. I was told that my membership would end in November at that would be the last of it. Fastforward to March and I realized that payments were still being taken out of my account. Getting a refund was a real hassal that took nearly a month of me hassling them to get a result. I wasn't given the adequate information to start with which meant that the process took longer. In the end I had to pay $25 to my phone company to get records to show that I contacted them on the day I organized to end my membership. In the end I got my money back but the manner in which it was handled was inadequate. I've worked as a CSO for a recreational facility and know that this was not how you handle such situations.

Fantastic experience: I was at first quite unsure about starting a new gym since I moved here. Since starting at goodlife I got awesome coaching and mentoring. Even met two people that work there that are not only amazing people and trainers but they have become friends for life. Could not recommended this place enough!

I like that the size of the club and the amount of machines gives you plenty of space to workout during peak. I found the classes were a great way to starting my workouts again especially with how many options there were.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities and the staff are very helpful. Lots of equipment so you are not waiting around for too long. Class timetable is varied and there is a lot of suitable times. Clean and tidy, hard not to give it 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Great facility! Was warmly greeted by staff and shown all the facilities when making a membership enquiry! Unfortunately could not go ahead with a membership yet due to being a uni student and having a lack of funds, however I will signup in the future.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, good equipment, can be a pain to get equipment during peak times, free weight area could be made bigger as the cardio area is never full

Negative experience: poor management and disappointed with the staff here couple reception staff really go up and over but the rest leave me pretty unhappy. club is good but messy all the time

Positive experience: Really nice place..excellent staff....dint have a nice experience with one of the personal trainers though...very unprofessional. .realised the centre runs independent of thevtrainers...would not recommend him to anyone. Not likely to go back after my 1 year ends...but nice place overall.

Negative experience: I was training just last week. When a male member hit a female member in the face in the cardio area. What type of people does this gym let people like that join. The manage Phil didn't offer much assistance as his shift was almost over so he left it to the female staff to get this guy out of the gym. HE WASN'T EVEN CANCELLED OR BANNED ON THE SPOT....

Negative experience: Shocking customer service. I have been trying to end my membership since April but am still getting charged. They make it look great when you sign up but the gym is actually in average condition due to lack of care from management

Negative experience: absolutely the worst customer service ever and now to find out that as I quit 2 months later they are still stealing funds from my account. Do your self favour and avoid this place at all cost. They have lied to me from the opening. Shocking that they don't even care. Lets have the - negative stars for this shocking establishment.

Negative experience: worst customer service ever. can't even get a hold of them over the phone. noone responds to any emails or voice messages. serious breakdown in management.
