Negative experience: It was a clean and tidy gym v good condition. However one time i was going there on a Sunday. At the time I still had my membership, but either I didn't have my card on me or had the wrong card at the time (had 2 cards, only one active). I knock om the door and figure someone will let me in, and to my surprise it was one of the workers. He opens the door just to fit his head through and tell me I can't come in. My mates say the guy is nice but this is my only experience with him. I finished my membership and never went back.

Negative experience: I came in during staffed hours, only 10 minutes late of my appointed time. And the staff had already left the place. Horrible customer service, as even before this I have been left to voicemail and my call was never returned. (The calls were also during staffed hours.)

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years because it's easily the best Plus Fitness around, no competition. Clean (!!) and well laid out, with a good variety of decent, functioning equipment (even when the gym is packed it's not often I'm waiting for something), and the staff are really friendly and always happy to help.

Fantastic experience: My first gym I've been to and it'd amazing. The community and staff are kind and welcoming, the place is kept tidy and weight are organised highly recommended

Negative experience: Staff are rude and racist towards non Arabs in this gym. They change and increase the price without giving notice and when you ask for the reason they cancel your membership in response

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Plus Fitness Sefton for 2+ years (we always paid annual membership fee in one go that works out much cheaper than monthly/fortnightly payment). Love the female only area, plenty of parking spaces and the gym is kept tidy and clean most of the time. Sometimes they run out of tissue/tuffy wipes in the weekend but that are quickly replenished during the week when they are staffed.

Positive experience: Really starting to lose points with broken the machine for calf extensions being broken over a month. Location is good, and the building is well maintained. Broken equipment takes a long time to repair considering the $30+ per fortnight cost. Not really situated in Sefton though, borderline between Sefton and Granville. Toilets are like the ones you get at swimming pools, but just a lot smaller. Has a woman's only area with limited equipment, but enough. Quite a good place for gym.

Negative experience: I stopped going there for few reasons. Very bad maintenance to the equipment as it takes them a very long time to repair a very simple thing on an equipment ( example to replace one spounge on a machine it takes them more then a mounth ) and the other reason why i stopped going to sefton plus fitness is safety reason as every time an equipment breaks they keep on welding it, imagine that particular machine breaks on you while in the middle of training you would probably die or end up disabled as safety comes first and looks like the owner doesnt really care about members safety. Examples of repaired equipment 1- leg press has been welded. 2- lat pull down repair ( lat pull down it failed on some member as he was pulling the weights the bolts snapped and the whole big metal piece came flying on him likely he was quick enough to move but if he didn't that flying piece of metal would definitely open his head in half, and all they did is replace the snapped bolts with new ones and it can happen again anytime to anyone. 3- seated cable raw been welded. And those the one i know of and probably there are more that i dont know about.

Positive experience: Gym has all the equipment one would need for any workout. Only thing is no one ever puts there weights back. Staff does a good job of putting it back frequently throughout the day but I do not understand why no one who goes to workout can put any of their weights back where they got it from. Signs are posted around to remind gym goers to return weights but it seems everyone just ignores them.

Positive experience: One of the better Plus Fitnesses around. A great arsenal of equipment and weights available, all kept in a decently well looked after place. Only caveat being how crowded it can sometimes get (which is actually proof of how great a gym it is) + the body odour that can sometimes come with that.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It has such a great community feel to it. I walk into the gym and most of the gym goers are friendly and polite. A very spacious gym where there is always enough room to do your workout! In regards to equipment, it has everything you need if you're looking to body build, get some strength gains or to lose a few winter kilos. For all the females out there don't sweat, there is a female only area, which I think is pretty rare for a 24/7 gym. I guess the owners have really tried to tailor this gym to accommodate for most people, which is great to see. It is definitely a standout from the other Plus Fitness gyms i've been to! Hope it can continue to expand and get new equipment :)

Loaded with equipment, super friendly staff and a clean gym, I love training at Plus Fitness Sefton. Props to the owners, staff and the members for keeping the gym in optimum condition. =)

Fantastic experience: A good gym with all necessary equipment to keep fit. I read the google review from Joanne H with disappointment, because I personally like very much that I can exercise without being destructed by the staff during my workouts. I had that experience in other clubs, where trainers or managers decided to have a small-talk when I wanted to exercise. I absolutely hate it as my time is limited and hence I appreciate the respect I receive at the Sefton club. At the same time, I must say, when I need something from the staff, they always help out. There is convenient parking in front of the club and internally is well looked after. Regarding equipment, there is a good variety and I can see that the owners are listening to members and do expand their range. However, as with all franchise business this can be a lengthy process obtaining confirmations from the head office. It is a great price for value, hence members should really not complain when there is not every piece of equipment that exists. There is no such gym anywhere in Sydney that will 100% suite once requirements. In response to Joanne's review I would say that absence of a certain type of barbells should not stop you from exercising as there are a lot of different variations of the same exercise that can be performed with other or even without gym equipment. It is really up to you what you make out of your workout.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym since last year together with my partner and I cannot fault it in anything. The place is kept tidy and has all the weights I need for my workouts. The equipment is spaced out nicely so if I want to do exercises that require certain space, like Farmers Walk or lunges, there is never a problem. The owners are a easy going couple, especially Vladimir with whom I chat and joke from time to time in the gym. This makes for a nice atmosphere in the gym in general which is a bonus on top of convenient location and value for money price. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone living in this area.

Fantastic experience: I've been at this gym since last year and it's been a great experience so far! There's plenty of space for all of the exercises I need to do such as HIIT and weight training, good range and variety of weights, as well as a separate lady's area that I use quite often when there are a lot of guys around. The gym is always clean and the equipment is in good condition comparing to some of the previous gyms I used to go to. The owners are very friendly so I'm not sure where some people got the negative comments from. They're very helpful, always willing to chat and ask how things are going. To anyone considering joining a gym around this area I recommend giving this place a try! :)

Fantastic experience: Compare to all other 24/7, i would highly recommended Plus Fitness 24/7 Sefton. spacious, plenty of equipment and affordable. Plus, Female Room is the key help this gym stand out from all other 24/7 i been to. my family are currently members of this gym and so all my friends. Staff are friendly, willing to help other members. i ll continue to be a member of this awesome gym and recommend to all my friends in the future.

Fantastic experience: Gym is spacious and tidy, I love the range of equipment, virtual class room and boxing room. My partner occasionally trains alone and uses the female only room and quite enjoys the space and ability to escape the noise and ocassionally smelly men on treadmills. (Pretty standard sweaty guys). There had seemed to be some trouble with the aircon but the owners are resolving the issue with the people they're leasing the building from and have installed portable aircons for the time being. The owners like in the example above are quick to resolve issues and do maintenance on equipment. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The regular attenders are mostly friendly and will seem to be willing to have a chat between sets if that's your thing. The showers are always warm and you don't need to wait 5 minutes for the water to warm up like I've experienced at other gyms. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a medium sized local gym.

Fantastic experience: Variety of equipments is great and floor layout is well spaced and not cluttered. Staff are quick to help and fix any damaged equipment so I am never left without something I want to use. I love the female section as it gives a quieter workout and privacy.
