Anytime Fitness Colonnades

Fantastic experience: Dan and Christian are such wonderful coaches - always willing to have a chat and educate about best physical training practices, basic nutritional advice, and explaining the supplements. I am not a gym goer by any stretch of the imagination, but I love coming here because they make me feel so welcome and accepted. They've cultivated a really positive environment and regular gym goers know they'll always have a safe space to work out here.

Fantastic experience: Staff here are welcoming and friendly, the manager Dan is always happy to say hello. The gym itself is always clean, and the equipment is kept in great condition. Overall a great atmosphere, and would highly recommend joining AF Colonnades to anyone looking to start their fitness journey!

Fantastic experience: From my experience this gym offers so much more than most gyms, Ive been to many gyms and came to this one a bit ago and the wide range of equipment was great compared to others it also has great staff and management that provides great feedback!

Fantastic experience: The staff are amazing, very friendly and happy, always ready to help answer questions or show you a machine you’re not sure about. My teenage son wanted to join a gym I was a little nervous with him being young and no experience but not only did the staff welcome him and have looked after him showing him thing, correcting his form the customers especially the men have been very supportive and encouraging of him too. It’s reassuring to know I don’t have to worry when he says he’s going to the gym.

Fantastic experience: Been to heaps of gyms.. when I say heaps I mean, HEAPS! anytime Noarlunga hands down is the most friendly, understanding, clean and helpful by far! Learnt heaps from the staff and even just fellow members, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Dan forms great relationships with all gym goers and makes the space feel extremely safe and welcoming, you can pick up on Dan’s passion for his work with how often he is tidying and cleaning the gym and checking up on the people working out. I always look forward to coming in.

Fantastic experience: I joined up to AF colonnades about 3 months ago. Prior to that I was at a local gym in Morphett vale for about a year. The amount of improvement I've had in 3 months in AF colonnades was the same , if not more, than what I had in 1+ year at the old gym. Why? Probably because of the newer / high quality equipment. Or the friendly staff who is always keen to help out and provide some much needed advice. Or the fact that there's always available equipment to work out on - and it's not like a packed zoo in there even during peak hours! The old adage applies here. "You get what you pay for". Dan, the club manager - goes above and beyond. Didn't get that at my old gym - which was only slightly cheaper. I'll be staying at AF colonnades for a long long time! Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: Joined about 2 weeks ago. Was so nervous about going Daniel the pt there put me at ease quickly and I haven't missed a day since because of this. Can not recommend the guy enough. Pushed out a 200 kilo leg press today. Only a few weeks into it maxed out the machine. From 35 to 200 kilo in a few weeks .

Negative experience: Terrible service and not as up to date as more reputable gyms close by. Was horrific to cancel, 6 months later more money drawn from my account for no reason. Owner was a nightmare to deal with. Claimed a response to emails was ‘a nicety’ not basic customer service. **Edit** have rang the number and spoken to a friendly gentlemen by the name of Daniel, happy to appears the business is under new reputable owners and attempting to change the poor practices of the past. Wish them all the best.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t thank Bailey and Amy enough for providing a safe, clean and supportive club!! I recently signed up after years of gym fear and Bailey gave me a tour of the club. I had an orientation with Amy where she showed me how to use all of the machines and then I signed up for a program and weekly PT sessions. They have both helped me feel more confident in going to the gym and they are always there to help out.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined this gym and my experience so far has been great! Bailey the manager set me up with a membership & was friendly & knowledgeable throughout the process! The gym is so clean & tidy, it's got a generous layout of equipment & Amy the personal trainer has set me up with a program & I see her once a week for personal training sessions. She's very professional & takes the time to ensure you understand everything correctly before moving on, I haven't once felt rushed by her. If you're considering a gym with a great community feel & amazing, knowledgeable staff, this is it. Highly recommend!

Knows how to program thing for you and your needs and what works best for your body she’s extremely accommodating and flexible. Her stretch and mobility class is amazing also :) Would highly recommend!

The manager Bailey is wonderful & will go above & beyond for everyone. Fantastic experience: Great staff and facilities. Everything is clean Edit: wanted to add more to this review. I have been going here for a little over 18 months. The facilities have always been great but since the renovation about 6 months ago it has gotten even better. Plenty of machines, 3 squat racks all with deadlift platforms in front of them, dumbbell rack with lots of space and plenty of benches (flat and incline), good functional strength area with battle ropes, kettle bells, trx ropes and weighted balls. Staff are really good and so are the follow gym goers. I go to about 3 different anytime fitness locations fairly regularly due to work and Noarlunga is by far and away the best one.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently moved into the area and transferred membership to AF Colonnades. Very happy with the quality of the gym renovation and equipment. A great place to work out.

Staff have been super friendly ever since I’ve started going there, and always welcome me when I come in for a workout. Fantastic experience: Revamp is looking great! Great staff. Good venue with good equipment. Great feel/culture to the club. Friendly gym. Convenient. Haven't had any issues/problems with the gym.

Negative experience: think twice before joining, i arrived and 6 machines full of weights left by others, if you want to use that machine you have to put all weights back in their proper place, if you dont management will call you and threaten you with a fine, they wont investigate who left the weights there in the first place, they will just threaten you with a fine, pick and choose? favourites? so if theres weights there left over from someone else staff will just leave weights on machine and get gym members to rerack them, i was told by management staff wont touch weights. why should members have to put weights back from others, staff should do it and investigate who left them there in the FIRST PLACE. I recommend to look elsewhere this new management is terrible.

Fantastic experience: Great place for me to workout. Pretty clean usualy all the time but some people are just lazy and don't wipe equipment down. This place is open 24/7 which is super handy if you are awake at non-usual hours like myself. If your thinking of going to this gym I certainly recommend it. If you never been to a gym before this is a great place to start. The staff here are very helpful and no one will judge you here, everyone is just focusing on what they are wanting to achieve.

Negative experience: I recently joined Anytime fitness but opted out pretty quickly. Why? For two reasons; first, when I joined up I brought in a legit online voucher which wasn’t honored but I joined anyway. This cost me almost a third more than the advertised amount. I soon regretted this decision on principle & decided to opt out during the seven day cooling off period (phew!). I was verbally told if I changed my mind that it would not cost me anything. This was not the case. Sadly, it cost me $100, the ‘key access’ wasn’t included. I should have read the fine print more closely, so, it was a costly lesson for me. Secondly, I compared Anytime fitness to a couple other local gyms and they weren’t very competitive; they had higher prices, less floor space, less equipment & no classes included. For example a competitor had 40 different classes included and were 20% cheaper. Lastly, in their defence, I understand new management have taken over and have a good vision for the gym but they aren’t there yet.

Fantastic experience: Since the last management change, I see a lot of positives in the club. There is always someone/staff during the staffed hours to talk to and that's a huge win. The broken/ Out of order equipment all seem to be fixed as well. Can't wait for the club refresher to see the next improvements. Good job AF Colonnades.

Fantastic experience: The workers have good people skills, they have all the equipment you need to get in shape or build muscle.

Positive experience: Pretty good gym. Equipment is all nice and clean. Like the separate unisex bathrooms/showers. Not a fan of open change rooms and showers. The croudDJ setup is pretty cool being able to pick songs to play though the gym speakers while working out.

Positive experience: It's a nice quiet gym, it is kind of small, but that's what I was looking for, only downfall it really has for me is that some of the equipment is pretty dated these days

Fantastic experience: Heat is up way too high, might be nice temperature for staff but nobody else... No covid sign in inside, literally 1 spot for the entire gym, paper grows on trees. Print 3 more and place throughout. Lighting is poor but that may be to hide the dust on all the equipment. I wrote my name in a dusty leg curl machine in 2020 and it's still there! Staff are sassy which I like - 5 stars!

Positive experience: Big fitness centre, large amount of equipment to use.

Negative experience: Its really frustrating that staff allow members to train with no towel. This is such a unpredictable time with Covid 19, they really should be encouraging people to train and clean down the machines. However today they turn a blind eye to 3 girls doing the wrong thing. Not cool.

Positive experience: Coming from my home gym of Morphett St, I found this gym to be somewhat interesting. Not any gripes or anything, but the machines are dinosaurs and some of the machines sound like they're slowly hitting their EOL (end of life). Other than that, it's your usual standard gym with cardio, weights and other stuff. The Nightlife system could do without the ads however, as us members already pay a lot of money in fees. Thank you for your time reading this, management and users of this gym.
