Positive experience: Since Zap took over Jetts I’ve had a mixed/frustrating time. Issues with entry with the app failing multiple times. Bringing concerns to management I’ve felt like they’ve fallen on deaf ears. Often passed feedback on to no response or no action. I’ll admit in recent weeks it has gotten much better. There is a sense of accountability & effort in making the gym a better experience for all.

Negative experience: I was trying to join this gym for 1.5 month now. The staffed hours neither in google nor on their door are simply not right, so it was impossible to access the gym for a full-time worker. The online QR code for joining failed 3 times and ended up saying that I should come when the staff was there anyway. So I only can do Saturdays, but the staff is never there. I've spent 3 hours under the door in total, ringing the bell. One man came out and gave me their staff email, so I managed to reach someone, and today I finally got inside. But the staff even didn't try to explain to me some basics of where everything is located, despite my direct told that I am new to the gym culture. After not being able to switch the runner from a TV to a running mode I am super annoyed and quit trying. Ah also, apparently if you subscribe for that attractive $9.99/week 18-month offer and decide to quit, you'll pay a cancelation fee of ~2,5k. Nice one!

Fantastic experience: Awesome space with everything you need in a gym. Staff are warm and friendly, always willing to help. Gym members are courteous with each other which makes for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for beginners or long termers.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at this gym for a year now. I love the atmosphere and the vibes of this amazing place. If one day goes by without going there I feel something is missing. I have made great friends there and the manager is always there for me and everyone. Kate is the most friendliest person I’ve ever met, her energy, smile and vibes are contagious. She’s very helpful and I strongly believe that Zap and us are lucky to have her there. Wouldn’t find these vibes anywhere else.

Negative experience: I recently ran into a snag with my gym's new app-based entry system - it just wouldn't recognize me. When I called up Zap's support team for some help, they couldn't find any trace of my membership in their system. They suggested I talk directly to the club's management, which I thought would quickly sort things out. Unfortunately, it only led to more frustration. I explained what was happening to the club manager, hoping for some understanding. Instead, I was hit with an accusation of trying to use someone else's membership. This was not only shocking but also pretty insulting. It felt like a huge misstep in customer service, turning what should have been an easy fix into a major issue, all thanks to the manager's unwelcoming attitude. Eventually, we found out the root of the problem was a typo in my email address registered with them. Fixing that got me back in, but the whole episode left a bad taste in my mouth. It was a clear reminder that the gym's system has its flaws, but more importantly, that there's a real lack of understanding and professionalism from the management side. For anyone thinking about joining this gym, I'd say think twice. Everyone deserves to be in a place that supports and respects them, especially in a setting where you're working on your personal health and fitness. This place, unfortunately, might not be where you find that.

Fantastic experience: Been training here since about the end of 2018. Equipment is always adequate for what I need, and I'm definitely reaching my fitness goals here. My favourite part about training here over time has been getting to know all the friendly staff and clients, especially since I used to struggle with mood a lot and never wanted to talk to anyone. Everyone here is friendly and helpful, especially Tiff, the manager, who is vibrant and sets the tone for the gym with her good mood. Training at Zap Summerhill is always one of the best parts of my day.

Positive experience: Good
Negative experience: Was doing a free trial with Jetts and paid a $40 refundable deposit for the access fob. Was told that prior to finishing the trial I can decide to continue with Jetts or not, where I can either enter a membership if I want to stay, or get refunded the deposit if I want to discontinue. I'm new to gyming so wanted to try out a few different gyms around before sticking to one. One week before my trial finishes Jetts changed to Zap. I tried to call them before the transition happened to ask about any changes in policy, but no one answered. I was working all week so couldn't come in during staffed hours, so left my number but no call-backs so I could cancel or clarify my position. My trial ends and im charged for two weeks membership ($16 per week) despite not being contacted to ask about my decision to continue nor confirming any new contracts or membership type. Called again to have the girl say that they're unable to make any refunds for neither the initial deposit (which I would be getting back had they allowed me to cancel my trial) nor the two weeks of extra membership I didn't ask for... The lady initially also said I was to pay a cancellation fee but could terminate my membership for no extra charges after the next two weeks, which I appreciated. Nonetheless, still a lack of communication during the transition and unclear in policies, unwarranted automatic transitions of existing clients on free trials to random membership without contacting clients, and no refunds for charges you didn't ask for. I understand there's a difference in companies when transitioning, but I don't think you can just do that especially when you're not even a member yet.
Negative experience: We were members of Jetts and had no lock-in contract and were on hold for few months. Now they have changed to zaps and charging us in advance and telling us that we need to pay for 1month even to cancel without any prior notice about the changes? Is it even legal?

Plenty of gyms in the area that are cheaper and don’t come with all the attitude and general disdain for customers. Fantastic experience: Jetts Reservoir, is not the biggest gym going around, however it is a great choice for me. With its 24 hour access, It allows you to achieve your workout at any time of the day no matter how busy you are. All the members are very friendly and helpful, this is due to the environment that has been created, together with the attention to detail that is given to you by Tiffany, Cass, Jareth & Matt certainly substantiates a five star rating

Plenty of gyms in the area that are cheaper and don’t come with all the attitude and general disdain for customers. Goodlife just up the road at Northland is cheaper and about three times the size, with friendly staff, and newer equipment.

Fantastic experience: One of the best Gyms in Bandoura area with 24hrs of access. Location is very close to the main plenty road and Summerhill shopping center so its very easy and convenient . They have plenty of equipment's and weights that you can able to try. Staffs are very friendly and helpful when you need them .
Fantastic experience: Biggest jetts gym I attended. Very spacious. Tram 86 is just right in front of you and the best thing after your exercise, you can go have a grocery or grab a bite to eat. Staff are friendly and easy to have good conversation with them.

Cancelled membership as I was moving out of the area, went into the gym, signed the paperwork as required, handed back the key Fob and was told it would be actioned plus an email confirmation. No email, no call and direct debits have continued to come from the account for 2 months. Called to ask why it hasn't been cancelled, they claimed they have no record of the cancellation and cannot find the form i signed. So not only will they not file your paperwork or carry out basic administration, they'll illegally direct debit you regardless of signed documentation (that they required, no less).

I cancelled my membership due to their bad customer service and after cancelling and clearing all my dues they are still deducting money from my account. Day light robbery. Its not only me I know many people who are not happy here and have moved to other Jetts nearby. This gym is also spoiling the image of Jetts, someone needs to look into it.

Negative experience: I don't leave many reviews, but I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with this place. I signed up, as and as part of my sign up, I asked if there was anyone that could help with doing a workout plan for me. They offered a free personal trainer consultation, where he or she would write a plan. I could then keep using the trainer at a fee, or could just continue on the plan. That sounded great, so I signed on, paid my fees and straight away, they started charging me. I waited a few days to get a call for an appointment with the personal trainer, nothing. I called and they said, yes, that I would get a call to book in a time. almost 3 weeks in, nothing. I Have not gone to the gym, waiting for so called appointment. I called the gym, no answer, even though I made sure I called when they were supposedly staffed. I called their headoffice, and guess what, no answer. I had to leave a message for someone to call me back. A woman called me back in the afternoon. Told her the story, got the usual "oh that's not good story" and that she would chase this up and get back to me. Still no call back. This is a joke. If you want a gym and want 0 zero help, fine, this is the place to go, but if you're looking for a place where on the odd occasion you may need some assistance, don't bother. I have now paid for 3 weeks membership, and had zero time in the gym. Great way to burn your customers. Now I have to start the exercise again and find somewhere else.
