Fantastic experience: Mark and the team are amazing! Great professional teachers but with a family environment which makes coming every week with multiple children easy and fun to attend. There are classes to suit every age and every level with multiple times and days to choose from throughout the week giving you opportunity to swap and change when needed. We love our Bujutsu family!

Has not once said he doesnt want to come and asks me everytime I pick him up from school if I bought his boxing gear.Great place for kids to have fun and learn in a safe well taught environment. Has some great teachers who have world titles between them.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money!!! All this place cares about is money! They do not care about training your kids, they spend half the lesson just playing games. When i asled them why i was paying $49 a week for my child to play bull ruah for half the lesson the owners were extremely rude and arrogant.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been training with Sensei Mark & the team at Bujutsu Smeaton Grange for about 5 years now. She loves the Muay Thai classes and always looks forward to training with the group of friends she has made there. I’m really happy we started bringing her to Bujutsu when we did. My daughter started in the classes for the younger kids and has now moved up into the adult/mixed classes. Mark & his team have helped her develop her skills, fitness and confidence over the years and she still enjoys it. Getting kids to do fitness activities and learn skills is far easier when they have fun and enjoy themselves. The team at Bujutsu have always been great at encouraging the kids, keeping them interested and making it fun.

Fantastic experience: Bujutsu Martial Arts and Fitness Centre has been a fantastic place for my son to practice martial arts. Both Sensei Jess and Sensei Zac do a great job of keeping the kids engaged throughout the classes. Sensei Jess is very firm yet friendly, ensuring that the kids learn discipline and respect. Sensei Zac is also fantastic, making every class fun and educational. It’s a wonderful environment that teaches kids valuable skills they will carry with them for life. Highly recommend!

My son has attended the kids Karate over a year now and he is always looking forward attending the classes. It is a fun yet serious learning space for children! They do have many classes over a week which make busy parents much more flexible with the schedule. They are very understanding as there were 2 times we had emergency circumstances have to change my son’s grading classes. Excellent in communication and customer service ! The instructors have taught my son’s in discipline, respecting each other and confidence in protecting himself. We have tried Brazilian Jujitsu, Muy Thai Kickboxing, Boxing and Karate and love having multiple options to train depending on our mood. Fantastic experience: I have known Mark as a fellow martial artist for many years. His teaching is outstanding and will set you on the right path for traditional arts - nothing is given, everything is earned.

Negative experience: My Son use to attend here and on one occasion I had a run in with a black belt in two styles in the car park. There were a lot of car parks left and this car sped into the car park which is dangerous with children around. He then parked that close to my car that I could not open my door or my sons without hitting his car. When his daughter opened her door it hit and damaged my car. So I moved my car and my tyres must have made a small screeching sound when I moved. When I approached him and asked why he parked so close he must have said something to the owner. When I got inside the owner confronted me and was aggressive and said I did a burn out in the car park which I replied are you serious? It was obvious they were personal friends and without even listening to what happened he took the side of the black belt in two styles. He asked me to leave in an intimidating manner with the black belt in two styles smirking in the back ground. I left and took my son and cancelled his membership as he did not want to return there. My son was upset by the whole ordeal and couldn’t understand why we had to leave. You only have to look at the wall inside the gym and trophy cabinet to realise how much of an ego the owner has and he showed it. If you are looking for a Dojo that doesn’t have an aggressive owner and is safe and family orientated and not driven by financial gain then GKR Karate Narellan is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: My son is now 7 and has been training here for about 3 years. The training sessions have always been professional and managed to hold the attention of my son and kept interesting with learning respect, consistency, new moves, and what to do in everyday situations (which he has had to do unfortunately- and done successfully). During Covid alot of businesses had to think and transition outside the box and this business was no different offering online Zoom sessions and outdoor lessons. My son enjoyed both and continued to grow and learn new moves during Covid.

Fantastic experience: My son has been attending Bujutsu Martial Arts Centre for around 3.5yrs. Starting in the toddler program at 2.5yrs and now almost 6 and in the Kid's Karate program, he has attended the Smeaton Grange, Oran Park as Spring Farm Dojos. The flexibility with class location, day and time has been such an advantage while juggling other commitments. The teachers at every location consistent, motivated, experienced and excellent with educating and guiding children. I would recommend Bujutsu Martial Arts to anyone looking to train, at any age.

Fantastic experience: I've been practicing Karate for 42 years and run my own full time Dojo. I have taught at Mark Sensei's Dojo and visited there several times. He runs a very good training academy with excellent facilities and multiple martial arts. His students are respectful and polite, which is obviously a reflection of what they are being taught, and their teacher's attitude. Mark Sensei is committed to his training and teaches a traditional form of Karate (Shotokan), in addition to Kobudo (Weaponry). He regular travels to Japan to further his education and hone his skills. I would not hesitate in recommending him and his Dojo to anyone looking for a traditionally based Karate & Kobudo Dojo.

Negative experience: So much disappointment with owners behaviour. His behaviour just astonished me and became my nightmare how could people be that much disrespectful to others. He doesn’t know how to behave politely and respect others. I took my kids off because of his behaviour. He is very arrogant and rude. My kids don’t learn anything from him. Kids mental health is also very important as well as physical health.

Fantastic experience: As someone who had never trained martial arts, I was a little bit intimidated by the sheer size of Bujutsu's dojo. This was quashed the moment I walked in the door. I have never felt more welcome and supported in my training at any other gym. Sensei Mark and his team are experienced, flexible and motivated by the success of their students. Everyone of any ability is welcomed to this dojo with open arms and encouraged to push their limits every session. If you want to train a martial art but have been putting it off, give bujutsu a call... It will change your life forever.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been members of Bujutsu Martial Arts Centre in Smeaton Grange since 2017, We absolutely love it! We would not train anywhere else! We have learnt so many amazing skills in Karate, Muay Thai , BJJ and many other elements of martial arts. It’s incredible how much confidence it has given my children! Training in martial arts is so important for building that confidence, discipline and learning to protect yourself from harm! We had previously tried 2 other martial arts facilities in 2016 in the area and nothing compares to Bujutsu! From the structure of the classes right down to the passionate instructors!!! That’s 5 stars from us !

Fantastic experience: I started muay thai in Nov 2019 and in Nov 2021 started boxing classes too I have a full membership so can access any classes as many times as I like. I also access the gym for some extra cardio and weights. My daughter and a friend now also attend.

Fantastic experience: It's a family run business. They have various adults & kids martial art classes, kick boxing, BJJ, Judo, Boxing etc... One thing for sure, it that they are well clean, organized and well run. Being a part of the Bujutsu Martial Arts & Fitness Centre, has been a learning journey for our family. A year ago myself & my daughter started Muay Thai Kick Boxing, JKA Karate & now started Okinawan Weapons. As a busy professional I like the day pass (you can attend as many as classes in that day) & you can turn up any day. Some time I work after hours & giving advance notice to attend the class is bit hard. So this works well for me. I recommend this program highly, it’s an investment in your and your child’s present & future.

Fantastic experience: I started training in February at Bujutsu and have found this to be the best martial art training facility I have ever attended. If your over 50 like me you may think that you are too old, this is definitely not the case at Bujutsu and my fitness has improved immensely. All i can say is pop down and jump in a class you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dojo with top-of-the line gym facilities as well. Many and varied classes available to suit all tastes. The kids’ lessons are great at building discipline and muscle mass, and even touch on safety (stranger danger, fire, etc), delivering the full package. Highly recommended.
