Fantastic experience: Used the facilities as a visitor from Sydney and absolutely taken back by how good this venue is. My local AF is pretty run down and compact so seeing this one is eye opening. Very jealous for the locals in this hood. I went during Xmas break and had nill interaction with staff, so only commenting on the physical gym but it's safe to say its a fantastic set up. Good job floks.

Positive experience: gym Used to have a microwave , refrigerator and a couch to sit , now can’t warm my meals after my office , loosing my gains , can’t keep my milk for a while , please reinstall it , otherwise all good nice gym .

Positive experience: Old club, has everything you need :) The bathrooms though, are disgusting all 3 bathrooms were trashed, wet floors, dirty toilets, paper on the floors, Hair on the floor. Combination of members being gross and old bathrooms with no ventilation and shower screens.

Coughing, blowing noses, and potentially spreading germs are inconsiderate behaviors that impact the health and comfort of all members. It is important for everyone to be mindful of others and prioritise community health.

Negative experience: Well, through this review, I would like to record the terrible experience I had. I don't think I've ever been treated as poorly as I was in this place. What shocked me the most was that, after some research, I found out it was the owner of the place herself. The way she spoke to me, extremely rude, arrogant, with superiority, as if I were stealing something or using it for free. Well, the treatment was horrible, I left there very sad, I never expected to be treated that way, especially by the owner of the gym. I'm canceling my membership, and I hope that you, the reader of this review, don't go through this. Especially if you're an immigrant (non-native English speaker), the people present with her were noticeably snickering.
Hi Leonardo, Im sorry you had a negative experience with our club and in particular, me. You entered the club on your sisters key, this is not allowed and goes against our club rules which is what i was trying to convey to you. Im sorry if this came across rude, it was never meant to be this way. Our club is almost 40% non-native (as you put it) and ive never had this feedback before so i feel as though you may have misread the situation. I am sorry that you felt i was treating you differently because of your background however i can assure you this is definitely not the case. Positive experience: Great gym with lots of equipment. Only downside is that there is no parking so you have to pay metered parking outside on the main road. Can get quite expensive if you go all the time

Fantastic experience: I love this place. I was signed up a couple of years ago and never went because of anxiety. I wish I had turned up because it's not as bad as you might think. The people are so nice, nobody is looking at you, and when I go at 3am, it's not crowded. Thanks anytime fitness for a great experience.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym! Very dirty inside and also when you cancelled your membership they will still charge you Like stealing money from your account! I know they will explain that’s the policy bahbahbah… But just so you know, if you plan to join this I will recommend you not to do this stupid thing because I did it and I feel really pain in my as_ Please give the money back to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: Visited this location from interstate during non-staffed hours on the weekend. Good location, big open space with lots of machines and equipment. Only a few barbell areas available for squatting and all were occupied during a off-peak time. The toilets were gross though, as they hadn’t been cleaned for a day or so. The gym also had music that you could choose to hear playing inside via an iPad which I thought was a cool option. Paid for street parking right in front (lots of spots).

Negative experience: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY for anytime fitness membership. They makeit me on lock in contract even they don’t inform anything to me about contract, then i go for the cancel my membership after 8 months they said you have to paid $180 because of contract. I’m Really disappointed of Anytime Fitness SOUTHPORT

As you wanted a cheaper rate, you went on a 12 month term, all our t’s and c’s are explained at point of sale and then signed (which you did). I’m sorry that you misinterpreted this at the time. Negative experience: Very rude management. They will increase the price and also overcharged my direct debit. I raise the issues with the club and they gave zero effort to resolve anything. There are much nicer clubs in surfers paradise so don’t waste you money here or Ashmore as clearly their aim is to rip member off not help them. It’s the Most un friendly I’ve ever been to.

You were never over charged and you chose to cancel your membership which requires 30 days notice and you just did not want to pay that. Please dont come on here and try and publicly dafame our business when we have dealt with this issue for you. Best of luck to you mate, we hope you find a better experience elsewhere.

Hey Hamish! So happy your loving our club, yes we do have parking under the shelter and along the building wall out the back, you may park in ''visitor'' too otherwise its free before 9am and after 5pm out the front. If you need help with anything don't be afraid to reach out to us in the office :D

Fantastic experience: It’s a very good gym, it’s very clean and well-organised, has extremely friendly&approachable staff, great selection of equipment which is well-maintained (I have never seen any broken equipment this year so far) and the vending machine is well-stocked. If you live close-by I highly reccomend this gym.

Negative experience: I had originally written a positive review but after being at this establishment for a few months, I've found the workers to be extremely rude. I was given a membership offer that was altered without my knowledge and once I confronted them, got quite aggressive and angry that I'd even brought it up. I asked the manager to end my membership with them as it was fraud and theft but I get left with unanswered emails and calls. But they'll take my money every month without fail. My pregnant wife also went to this gym, she was the reason I joined this one and her pt jess laughed at her because she couldn't do some of the weights she was asked or couldn't do some of the exercises cos she has a dam baby I her belly. I've never been more anger at an establishment in my life than I have been with this place. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: Was looking for a gym to join around the area and wanted to test some out properly before committing to a long term contract. Signed up for the "Free 3 Day trial" online and Organised my day around the time I booked for my consultation, when i got there I was told that I can either have 1 day free or sign up to a 6/12 month contract and get a week free. Was misleading and not a good salesmanship
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We understand that people like to “trial” gyms, however it is at our discretion to give them out. We get a lot of holiday people at the club and have a very strict policy. Contracts always have a 7 day cooling off period, no questions asked policy at your disposal. As you can imagine, it costs a business for you to trial and I think offering 1 day free or 7 days free if you sign up is extremely reasonable. Best of luck finding a gym that suits your needs. I know we have 1000 very happy members so if you want to come back and join us, please feel feee.

Hi Rodrigo, thanks for the review. As discussed with you, as per Anytimes cancellation policy, you only needed to provide proof of moving and we could have cancelled for free. As this was not followed and we cannot follow up everyone who we are waiting on emails from, your account continued to be charged. Im sorry you had a rough experience with us however we feel like we did everything we could have on our side and it was up to you to provide proof. Wishing you all the best in the future.
Positive experience: We could never be able to access the gym 24/7 but now with places like this it’s possible. The staff are friendly and the other people that are training there are even better! With a competitive price and the quality of the machines and equipment you will smash your workouts before you get a sweat going , lol!

Positive experience: The staff are always friendly and good for a chat, it is a smaller gym with everything you need, but only one of each, so sometimes its hard to keep to a routine during busy hours when what you need is occupied. But I go quite regularly and the people are quite friendly and know its quite small and don't mind you working in with them and sharing equipment, no one goes ape and hoards half the gym.

Half of the machines are poorly designed rubbish, but I guess that is most gyms these days. Popular machines & dumbbells are singular, so you can wait a while.Plenty of rude GenY clients with no gym etiquette, but I guess that is most gyms these days. A typical bland, mildly irritating, 'McGym' - but I guess that is most gyms these days.
Fantastic experience: I am from Sydney , and this is the best anytime fitness i have ever been too, has three power racks and bumper plates , clean, tidy. If your in town i recommend working out there for sure
Negative experience: These guys don't react on a feedback at all. Left my feedback many times in written form, online feedback form that comes through email, talked to them personally...no actions were taken during the year. Staff personal spraying deodorants near people in 1-2 miter distance leaving then the space and letting you smell the fume after them. The respond on my question was:"Would you rather smell the sweat?" Dane Anderson Very rude, very unprofessional, NO corporate culture, No WHS awareness, NO respond on feedback!
Fantastic experience: Friendly and reliable staff, and absolutely reliable staff hours, too. I saw cleaners looking after the place daily basis too. Great equipment selection. Best on the Gold Coast for sure.
