Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! The facility out at AF Mayf is amazing but what really sets this gym apart from the rest is the team and the community that they have built. There isn't another gym I'd rather be at!

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym. The only areas of possible improvement (not criticism) I can see are the lack of parking during peak times, over crowding during peak times, under utilisation of mezzanine level, music which is a little ghetto for my tastes, the cooling which is either on power saving mode or inadequate due to the size of the building and the lack of decent independent hip abductor/adductor machines as the single combined unit is not really that great. Also can’t find a TRX anywhere? Is that what you call it? Or a little metal step to use to do more heavy standing calf raises with the smith machine. Much smaller gyms have this stuff not sure why not this one. Perhaps some more kettle bells of varying weights. e.g. why no 6 or 10 kilo kettle bells? Very strange. Otherwise it’s an excellent gym as I said already. Can’t think of an overall better AF on the planet.

Fantastic experience: Anytime fitness mayfield is such a vibe. I have been going to mayf since August last year as I wanted to improve my confidence. I recently started online pt coaching with Joanne Holbrook which has been amazing. She is one of the amazing pts that work at mayf so it’s great to have her around if I have any further questions. The staff are super friendly and are very welcoming. The gyms facilities and equipment are always well kept.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym the staff is amazing and their reels are so funny I always feel very welcomed every time i train there and the vibes are just beautiful! Joanna, Rhanee and Griffin are the best The gym itself is massive and extremely clean. I used to train there late and every single night from 11pm the cleaners were deep cleaning the entire gym for two hours. Honestly this gym deserves 1000millions stars Thank you for everything you do for us members!!

Fantastic experience: The staff are super friendly. They always say Hi when they see you and say bey when you leave. It is a very small thing, but it really makes me impressed. In my experience, it is the best gym in Australia!! Plus, all the equipment here is well maintained and clean.

Negative experience: Everyone is sitting on machines on their phones. The manager shrugged and laughed when I raised the issue. This isn’t a gym. It’s a hangout. Edit**stop lying about me not attending your gym. I can come in if you like.

Fantastic experience: After being lucky enough to win a 6 month trial to Anytime Fitness Mayfield I was able to give the gym a try for the first time and after 2 year since then i haven't looked back. The staff Jayden and Joanna are friendly and super helpful and the equipment is new and constantly upgrading. I'm really pleased with the gym and couldn't of asked for any better!!!

Fantastic experience: Why Should You? When I first joined, I still had that sense of fear with any new place. Those anxieties of feeling like I don’t belong. But It didn’t take long for me to realise that, I Joined Such A Strong Community Built Upon All Walks Of Life. Everyone in there has their own goals, no one’s ever the same. What To Expect: Jaidyn and Jo are the first two friendly faces you see walking in everyday. They are more than happy to take the 5 minutes when you walk in to ease those anxieties with a chat. If you see Jo and Tom floating around (The PT’s) they are more than happy to answer any questions you might have. And the Members, Everyone’s and Absolute Gem. People see you for who you are, and not what you have. You are accepted as is, with the mentality of let’s achieve and grow together as a community.

Negative experience: If you are joined to a club that's not mayfield make sure you don't let your member ship transfer over the club manger Jaidyn is a grub and will increase your membership. You'd think being a member for over 5 years You'd be treated better . Absolute grub of a man.

Fantastic experience: Really nice setup! One of the best I’ve been to. Friendly crowd, plenty of parking (even if the car park is full), good layout. Only things I’d add is hooks on the backs of the toilet doors and some more 1.25kg & 2.5kg plates.

Negative experience: The speakers close to equipment , especially the cardio area is too loud. It’s not very healthy for your ears. I hope they turn it down otherwise if my hearing tests come back bad I’ll have hold them liable

Fantastic experience: I was in the area for work and in between jobs visited the gym. I found a gem. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Facilities are great. Gym has 6+ power racks / platforms. Good quality barbells and plates, plenty mobility gear. Also a heavy bag. If I lived in the area- more likely would join this gym. Gym experience made my day more pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Mayfield is an unreal facility. It’s spacious and has a great range of equipment. The staff are super friendly, very welcoming and approachable. 10/10 would definitely recommend signing up and training here.

Negative experience: i usually love this gym but i will never come back, i was told to leave and discriminated against. My friend had opened the door as I had forgotten my key tag on account of being a bit tired and we were approached by a white male who asked us for our memberships, I asked if there was any chance he could sign me in. I have the anytime fitness app and was willing to show my membership, without any explanation he just told both my friend (Aboriginal) and I (Asian) to leave. Countless white women and men had walked in without their tags and he did not ask them to show him. I would have been fine leaving if this standard was upheld across all members instead of selectively choosing based on appearances, or a sufficient explanation was given. His language and approach was very unprofessional, almost being glued to his phone as we left. Hope you find and train better staff, you have lost two loyal members

Negative experience: This morning I experienced my first time being discriminated at this gym. My Asian friend and I ( who is Aboriginal) walked into the gym and straight away was approach by a male trainer, he was rude and told us we has to leave without giving us a valid reason. I would just like to raise awareness of his poor work performance as well he had his phone in his hand and was looking at it as we left. I usually love this gym but this staff member clearly hasn’t been trained to be professional and know how to work every aspect of anytime fitness system.

Negative experience: Very disappointing, the Internet never, ever works here, I've been to Toronto, Warners Bay and Edgeworth gyms and Internet is always working, but never works at Mayfield, if one of the girls is there they can sometimes get it working but other times they don't seem to care or claim to have "tried" with no results. I truly feel that for this constant inconvenience they should compensate with reduced fees as it's not a one off and Fix the issue for goodness sakes!

Negative experience: Had a bad experience with this gym , Don't get locked into a contract . Staff where not very helpful at all . I wanted to cancel me account but had to wait until a billing cycle until they would take my money . What a joke , then they where going to charge me $35 dollars after

Positive experience: A good gym with good equipment. Gets really full at peak times though because their gyms are quiet small.
