Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Anytime Fitness Rowville for about 6 months and have been seeing Joey for PT for a month or so also. The gym is always clean and never seems to be too busy (at least not at the times I go). From the experience of someone trying to regain strength and fitness after having a child, I'd happily recommend Joey as a trainer.

From initial meeting and tailored personal training Anytime is helping me reach my goals. With great location and being second floor having a great view outside while you do cardio and freshly completed renovations inside making this gym a top tier standout.

You feel very welcomed every time your here. The equipment is always well looked after, it's always clean and very inviting. Wouldn't go to any other gym. Fantastic experience: I'm a relative new comer to gyms but i am now a convert and my local gym Anytime Fitness in Rowville is the reason i am keeping in better shape and turning up every week. Friendly people and staff are part of it but the equipment is very good in comparison to other gyms i hear. The new refurb is also very cool and given the place a fresh feel with new machines as well. I would highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a welcoming and well equipped gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with friendly staff and all the necessary equipment to stack mass. The gym has just re-opened from a revamp and looks great. You'll be hard-pressed to not find equipment that's to your liking. Just beware of after-school times as it can get quite full of school kids

Negative experience: Would NOT recommend going to this GYM to any of my friends and family again, all about Gains for themselves and profitability then actually helping the people/ community , yes I understand contract is signed, at the beginning when signing up with any GYM.. that’s a given. But the lack of responses made on Anytimes fitness end regarding communication and response when financially my family member was under hardship she reached out for help, but yet was turned away.. even from a payment plan. She then tried emailing to inform your staff she had moved address and to update it. but yet this wasn’t updated on your end again. I couldn’t believe there was still no consideration to help her with a payment plan at the time she was as struggling. But yet someone has turned up at her work place in June which yous wouldn’t have known this information unless someone personally knew our family, if your staff just changed and updated the address information. Then that would have been fine. Unless your staff member, who we knew outside of the workplace clearly gave this information. which we know who she is. We use to play in the same club. The disrespect and the way this was dealt with regarding this matter by yous was shokcing. Ultimately you forced her to go to court, as she was served in her workplace. You had no right too ! On top of this she is now having to pay fees on top of paying the outstanding amount she had. The issue is not so much the debt she knew she had, but the lack of help, response, detail changes that were given but yet never updated by your staff. I know this first hand, because I too tried to do the same, then was told I never did. But yet I physically went in as I had a medical at the time. The point is, this is as dealt with so wrongly, and this could have easily been helped. This was suppose to be a community/ outlet, but yet it felt like a prison with a sentence that she now has to deal with All I’m saying is yous could have dealt with this a lot better than what you did. Reached out, asked question, helped with a plan spoke to her. Have the guts to at less say sorry for the embarrassment you did to my sister ( your staff member knows who she is) , Yet you’ve picked on a single mother, who struggles, and try’s her best to provide for her son while work, Hope your proud of your “work” . Just remember to treat people, how you would like to be treated.

Negative experience: Be positive about membership tiny prints , only by death can you get out . Absolutely no compassion on mental health and cancellation of direct debits .

Originally signed up with the new anytime fitness at Knox due to it being shiny and new but discovered quickly that Rowville is better and closer to me. Needs a minor face lift and more mirrors like Dandy North and would be perfectttt

I was nervous signing up to the gym not knowing how to use the equipment and being very anxious signing up to a gym. Anytime fitness Rowville staff members are very helpful and easy to approach, making the whole experience easier!! Highly recommend!

Their gym is equipped with the most amazing equipment I've ever laid my hands on, which makes my workouts an absolute pleasure. The place is always spotless, and the staff members are super friendly and always ready to assist. It truly is a top-notch gym.

Negative experience: Signed me up underage (without parents consent) then takes my key fob which I paid for. Which made the entire contract void from the start. Got kicked out because I came in during unstaffed times. If you’re going to sign me up illegally you might as well illegally let me workout. Have also read all the 1 star reviews, owner just sounds passive aggressive in all of the reviews. (Doesn't take feedback well)

Negative experience: I made the switch to Anytime Fitness Rowville in November 2022, trading Jetts Fitness for what I thought was a superior gym. I was wrong. When my wife contracted severe COVID-19 and I faced the challenges of caring for my autistic son, I turned to Anytime Fitness for understanding. Instead, I was met with a wall of bureaucracy and a complete lack of empathy. I reached out to Anytime Fitness Australia via Facebook, hoping for a resolution. What I got was a circus of slow responses, confusion over my membership details, and zero resolution. Despite promises to escalate the issue, AF Rowville remained conspicuously silent. Anytime Fitness, your lack of customer service and understanding is a disgrace. You've turned what should have been a positive fitness journey into a saga of frustration and disappointment. Businesses should demonstrate empathy and understanding, especially in challenging times. You've shown me that you're not up to the task.

Positive experience: Gym is fine, gets hot in there when it's sunny and the air con doesn't seem to be on too often. Drinks in the vending machine aren't the prices they say they are which seems sort of dodgy as well

Fantastic experience: Large-sized club compared to most others I've been to. On level 2 of the building, which is shared with several other businesses. Glass windows provide a 180 degree view of surrounding area including part of the Dandenong Ranges. One of my favourite Anytime Fitness clubs!

Negative experience: Took your money during covid. tried to cancel membership in august last year . Staff are rude . Said you have to cancel my email. You don’t have to sign up by email

Negative experience: Went to Rowville AF as it is the closest gym to my work. My FOB wouldn’t let me in or the lady behind me. Fortunately the next person was able to let me and the lady in. I then approached the manager to let him know that I couldn’t get in but am a member at Armadale and regularly use other AF such as Hawthorn, Camberwell and even Echuca. The manager wouldn’t let me work out even though I am double vaxxed, had the booster and had it approved by my home gym. I pay extra for my membership due to my home gym being classified as a higher quality gym. The lady behind me was allowed in despite her FOB not working either as the manager recognised her. I was forced to leave and went to FTG gym where my FOB allowed me access. Very disappointing service and will need to reconsider my 9 year membership at AF.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a lot of different gyms and out of all the different Anytime Fitness’ that I’ve been too Rowville is the best. It has the ideal setup and large variety of machines, all which are high quality and well-made. A lot of other gym franchises don’t measure up to the same standard.

Positive experience: Three stars for the equipment and look and feel of the gym in rowville. BUT! down-fall, my experience was not good. I wanted to look for a gym where I can trial for a day, they were already asking for a Down payment of $100 PLUS another (I think it was) $30-$60 for the key. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a trial gym and don't have the money to pay for that. Look else where

Positive experience: The gym looks great, I'm trying to sign up but you won't answer your phone. There is another gym that I don't want to go to calling me every 15 minutes, I'm afraid they'll follow me home. These extremes are confusing.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness is clean, modern, bright and the staff are friendly. The screens on the machines are big and have TV and YouTube which makes the time go faster while you're exercising. It's a great gym!

Positive experience: Gym was pretty good while I was going there. Quit 9 months ago and started charging me again for the last 3 months, issues was rectified promptly.

Negative experience: AVOID! Very poor service and misleading and dishonest business conduct. Called to cancel membership and they said ok. But was still charging! Called again and they said it needed to be done in writing. They could've told us the first time we called. We also had problem with international membership and was blocked from accessing the gym for months and they could not resolve the issue at all. Very slow at responding to emails and calls.

Fantastic experience: Great location, all the treadmills have great 2nd story views, its on the bigger side for AF, and it wasn't too busy when I was there just outside of peak. Very clean, and most of the machines were quite new. It had most of the normal machines plus a few extras too

Very disappointed that I will no longer be there as much as I would like , have to find a similar anytime out North! Definitely recommend this gym over any other!

Negative experience: I phoned in for a consultation, when i arrived i was taken straight into the office which is on the left as soon as you walk in, without even getting a glimpse of the gym or workout area. Then was asked how long i was considering to join up for, which myself being a PT a few years back knew that we just skipped like 3 steps and got straight into money I went along with it anyway i said probably 6 months she then pulled out the eftpos machine and i was like "whoa whoa are you even going to show me around the place and what you have in here? before taking my money lol" Lady told me oh sorry go have a look around didn't even accompany me so i just told her thanks but no thanks ill have to pass and you might need to go back to training. absolutely piss poor talk about desperation would definitely not recommend this gym to anyone

Negative experience: My girlfriends membership was transferred from our home club to Rowville Anytime without permission and after doing so, they sent a text message saying that they were going to change our rates higher. Thankfully we were able to get the membership transferred back but not without a headake. Also I'll add that you're not aloud to squat without shoes. I religiously squat this way and always put my shoes back on between sets but this is the first and only gym where they told me to leave. Unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: Really great gym. Great location and easy to access. Always see staff cleaning as much as they can. The cancelling process is easy and if you read the membership agreement you will have no problems. Also 5 squat racks, 8 treadmills and plenty of cable machines which is really good compared to other gyms in the area.

Negative experience: Visited from another Anytime fitness gym, Management need public relations training... it’s not what you its....... it’s how you say it!! Found the gym equipment unsatisfactory ie limited stretch bands no red or yellow bands encumbent bike out of order. Toilets flooded with water all in all a unpleasant experience will NEVER go back again.

Fantastic experience: I visit many atf over Melbourne and i really enjoyed this gym. Lots of space, very clean with lots of great equipment! Didnt meet any staff though.

Negative experience: Website offers "free trail" but its actually a contract with sign up fee of 160$. If you don't like it after the first training you get for money back. My understanding of free us different.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst managed Anytime Fitness club I have used and I have been a member of Anytime Fitness since 2014 and used several clubs I transferred to this gym using it over the Christmas period and was made aware if you sign up at another club and use Rowville your rate will most likely increase regardless of whether you purchased your membership on sale or have referred new members. I’ve been advised mine will be increasing nearly $20 per month to be in line with “other members”. However have not had to deal with this at any of the other locations. This is significantly more expensive than other Anytime Fitness gyms and other gyms in the area so beware if signing up here. If this was advertised would definitely not have used this gym, staff were significantly more helpful and easy to deal with elsewhere

Positive experience: Clean. Tidy. Never too busy. No complaints. Feel like it’s one of the better value gyms around. New cardio machines are pretty decent too.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Never pick up the phone. Never reply to e-mails. Been trying to cancel a gym membership for a month.
