WHAT IS EVOLT 360? The Evolt 360 Ecosystem consists of a body composition analyser, which utilises an eight electrode multifrequency segmental analysis known as Biometrical Impedance Analysis. The Evolt 360 uses a scientifically validated test known as Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). It is considered the fastest, non-invasive method of screening total body composition. Bioelectrical Impedance (BIA) works by passing a safe, low-intensity electrical current through the body via the tactical points on the machine (feet and hands). In very basic terms, the resistance to the flow of the current determines the difference between muscle mass, fat mass (including visceral and subcutaneous), water and mineral.
THE SCAN REPORT In 60 seconds, the Evolt 360 gives users a unique experience and a full report of their body composition. Get access to over 40 different measuring parameters such as Skeletal Muscle Mass, Total Body Water, Bone Mineral Content, Protein, Body Fat Percentage, Visceral Fat Levels and Segmental Analysis, B.M.R and Total Energy Expenditure, Age Match to Body (fitness age) and much much more.
ADVANCED MEASURING SYSTEMS The Evolt 360 advanced measuring system uses a 4 Compartment (Body Water, Protein/Mineral, and Fat) model using a 5 cylinder (left and right upper limb, left and right lower limb and torso) measurement approach. It uses 5 measured compartments (cylinders) rather than the old 1 compartment system. BIA technology was the science that was originally developed for use in monitoring hospital patients after surgery, as well as astronauts after space travel. Fantastic experience: Great Gym and atmosphere. Owners are always upgrading and brining in new equipment. The place is always extremely well maintained and everything in working order, unlike most gyms around!!
Negative experience: A large overall gym however it is very out dated. Toilets absolutely smell!! No soap in the dispenser to wash your hands and Upstairs machines there are pipes besides machines with full of dust! This gym needs extra attention regards to cleaning the whole place up.

Fantastic experience: Woah, this gym is crazy! Large floor space and even then they've packed heaps of equipment in. There are multiple/ different versions of almost all machines and quite a few I've never seen at other gyms. Staff were friendly. Place and bathrooms were clean and showers are spacious. Amazing gym.

Negative experience: The people who are owners of this gym are trying to sue me at present as they 'believe' that I owe them money as I cancelled my direct debit with the company that they use and was advised by that company that I did not have to notify them of my cancellation. I would think twice about the integrity of the owners before joining, Another well known gym in Brunswick would NEVER do this to their members, my advice would be to seek another gym and don't use Debit Success. Gym owners like these people love when members have to keep paying and not go to use the gym, more money in the gyms pocket
Fantastic experience: Just perfect! Love the layout, love the equipment, friendly staff. It’s cleaned and well maintained. If you’re looking for a gym with lots of weights and machines then this is it. Forget other gym with carpet floor and pretty little dumbbells.

Negative experience: They need to change many things l. First of all the bathroom and amenities are horrible. The hand dryer in the men’s bathroom barely works and it blows cold air what’s even the point. Toilets are always in disgusting state, they get cleaned once a week if that. They have one water fountain tap in the whole gym and it doesn’t even have a tap to fill your drink bottle just has a fountain to sip out of, this isn’t right for a gym this size, derrmuit gym has Atleast 4 fountains. One of the treadmills first one as you go to the cardio section is broken and they havnt put it out of order I’ve slipped on it while running and countless people have said the same as the people at the front desk knowing also. Machines need to be cleaned more they feel gross grabbing them. Also turn on more lights and have some sort of air flow/ air con system on after hours it isn’t safe especially during summer training in a warehouse with no airflow coming in or out you feel sick. Lastly I don’t appreciate how when you do purchases they ADD TAX on top like this is Australia not America you don’t add tax on top when i renewed by membership the owner added an extra $6.5 on top just to cover his tax expenses as a business in Australia this isn’t right due to tax needing to be including in the price.
Hi David, I will contact you this week to discuss the issues you have raised, however since you put this out on a public forum I will address your points 1. The facility is cleaned 5 days per week by a commercial cleaning company and staff do their best to keep the facility clean and tidy for our members 2. Our water fountain does not have a bottle filler as water spillage would be a major issue 3. The treadmill in the back corner is out of order and a new belt has been ordered and coming from the US. 4. Our Evap cooler system works whilst roller doors are open. 5. The added tax you refer to is a 0.9% surcharge on EFTPOS transaction that is clearly displayed on the reception counter next to our EFTPOS machine.

One year contract finished and they still taking the money from my side which is totally bad and disrespectful. Hi Honey, in response to your review, if you joined on a 12 month direct debit membership you would have had a choice to cease the membership at the 12 month term or for it to continue on. If you wanted to have your membership cancelled at a certain point, all that is required is to fill out a cancellation form at reception. At no point have you been scammed or have we acted dishonestly. At some point you must be responsible for your own actions and decisions and not blame others.

Hi Shoresh, just wanting to respond to your comment. At no stage were you or any member charged during the Govt mandated closure. Further more it is ignorant to make a comment like the govt paid the gym, please check your facts prior to leaving google reviews or comments. You signed a 12 month minimum term contract. No one forced you to join, we do not have sales staff and do not pressure sell. Please take some responsibility for your decisions rather than blaming our facility because you changed your mind.

Negative experience: I had months to months membership with this gym I called to cancel a few times, they asked me to go in and fill in some paperwork and i did. They still charging me $95 and $68 this month Not happy at all and dealing with them is a headache... Scammers

Negative experience: Never sign up, such a rip off, you need to get the pentagon permission to cancel your contract, either ways they will charge you extra 2-3 months
Negative experience: Spacious and well equipped. But no staff nor owner behind the counter will acknowledge members when we arrive, they'll just sit around and talk among themselves. Cardio machines are very dirty/unhygienic.

Hi there, the special deal which you received had an expiration date, it was a 24 hour flash sale over 1 month ago. Unfortunately the deal expired and can not be redeemed whenever you decide. You were offered a heavily discounted membership to compensate missing out, however you refused.

In relation to the above comment. All members are required to fill in membership forms completely and identification must be verified for safety and other reasons. You refused comply and access to the facility was denied . You became irate and abusive therefore the phone call was terminated.

Positive experience: Top notch equipment and the staff let you do your own thing. Well priced. I haven't tried any classes yet but I'm curious. Generally the clientele are nice and keep to themselves. I would love it if they offered a body combat class or more weekend classes because it's difficult for me to make it to weekday classes.
