Fantastic experience: Probably one of the best Anytime Fitness I go to in Melbourne. It's got everything you need and it's never too crowded. People here are real kind, been spotted a few times by strangers. One time I was doing my one rep max on bench and failed and was helped by a fellow gym goer. Friendly staff members as well. It's a real warm environment and I highly recommend this gym. Wished I live closer so I could go more often.

Negative experience: Having been locked into a 12-month membership with Anytime Fitness in a location with no other local gym options, I have now moved and discovered that my new local Armadale Anytime Fitness is so under-equipped in the weights section for more than 2 or 3 members at a time, it’s almost farcical. There are literally only two adjustable benches and one straight bar attachment! Despite attending multiple times, I constantly have to wait for these essential pieces of equipment as other members sit or stand around for 5-10 minutes at a time, glued to their phones watching TikTok and hogging the needed equipment. I’m at a loss as to how anyone is supposed to complete a workout routine comfortably. The only clock on the wall which I use to time set breaks has been dead for weeks too. What a waste of time in both respects. **UPDATE:** Still only one straight bar attachment in the entire gym, which is essential for exercises like bicep cable curls, tricep press downs, and other two-handed workouts. This single $50 piece of equipment shared between 10-30 people... and still only two adjustable benches. This is a prime example of money grabbing over member experience, with aggressive membership sales campaigns. They’re happy to take $1300 a year from me, but can’t even invest in basic, essential equipment. Instead of replacing a $5 battery, they just removed the clock altogether What a joke. I’m glad to be done with this useless locked-in circus. There are plenty of much better-equipped gyms in the area for half the price. Stay away!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff

Fantastic experience: I used to train at this gym before COVID and left to train at Anytime Fitness Hawthorn (which is excellent). Armadale now has a new manager who came from Hawthorn and has noticeably improved the gym. He and the other staff member have made it feels more welcoming, inclusive and clean. New cardio machines, additional equipment and attachments have been added but ultimately there's a new energy about the gym. Plus check out their IG for routine content which is useful.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here due to works at Hawthorn AF. Certainly one of the better AFs I have visited. I was pleasantly surprised. The Club Manager, Josh, runs a great operation here! Super clean and organised, plenty equipment and friendly people. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: By far the best Anytime this side of the Yarra! The lights are always on, the music always going off and most the all the staff just get it!! Josh the manager of thus fine establishment is the real reason I’ve give this anytime a 5⭐️ A Bloody fair dinkum, true blue Aussie bloke who just loves to have a yarn all things fitness!!

Positive experience: I started just prior to Christmas and Josh and his team are very supportive with me and explained everything clearly at sign up, since also helping me with my routines and welcoming my support worker in without question. Equipment is great and recently upgraded which shows the commitment to the members and the product

Fantastic experience: Great gym that rarely feels overcrowded. Plenty of machines, free weights and cardio equipment and more brand new stuff on the way this month so even better. Josh the manager is focused on maintaining the equipment really well and is always lovely to interact with.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member for the last year and have found it great. Good selection of equipment and staff are very helpful on the few occasions I've needed assistance with anything.

Negative experience: After paying out our contract to leave early, my credit card continues to be debited. Escalated to my bank/card disputes. The owner, Kerry, will not return my calls/texts and the staff at Armadale have not dealt with this issue. I do not recommend this business.

Negative experience: Small gym, not many benches, equipment was okay. Environment was okay. Highly recommend going anywhere else but here as it's tiny.

Negative experience: No communication from owner because I’ve been trying to cancel my membership since Sept 4. I’ve emailed, phoned, gone in numerous times. Many broken promises about getting back to me. Mistake made on my contract where I was signed up for 18 months instead of 12. Was told this is an “easy mistake to make”. They will not resolve. Keep saying owner is sooo busy. Meanwhile my credit card just keeps ticking away… surely this is not their business model? An unscrupulous gym? Really?? What a shame it has bad ownership as the location and equipment is quite nice.

Negative experience: Only 2 adjustable benches for the entire gym and the smallest free weights area I have seen. And still no update since my last post 2 months ago

Good warm/customer experience Explained the basics - Benefits/Features Set up is nice and simple (They’ll be renovating soon, Watch this space) ! Highly recommend. My only critique is the cost of the KEY/ Fob at $89 and the replacement at $50. It should be common knowledge the cost of a FOB is around $19 If that - Is that function available. Via AN APP Yet? Fantastic experience: It's a great gym; clean, spacious, and has friendly members/staff. I highly recommend the gym to beginners. For intermediate and/or advance gym goers, the gym lacks critical equipments. I highly recommend owners to visit Anytime fitness Flemington, or Roxburgh Park, or even Glenroy (which despite being super small is fully equipped). Overall, it's a good gym.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Melbourne! They have all the equipment I need, all the members I’ve spoken too are so nice. All the staff are so lovely and willing to help me out with anything. Sohana is funny as, she’s the best! Alan’s classes are tough and challenging, they always make me sweat. Seb’s a little cutie too, he’s like a little chicken nugget. If you’re thinking of joining, do it!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to anytime Armadale for almost 2 years now and have been met with nothing but positivity, it has an incredible atmosphere, I’ve had quite a few interactions with Sohana and she always makes sure to have me leaving with a smile/going above and beyond. Could not reccomend highly enough!

Negative experience: During COVID I decided to support a local business I was not using. I toyed with cancellation but thought no I will support them. That cost me well over a thousand dollars. I lost my token. Today I went in and got told it would cost $99 to replace (I was told I had had one replaced before - which I simply cannot recall). I doubt very much the key costs anywhere near that. I am now cancelling my membership. They were happy to take when it suited them but not to reciprocate. Absolute just down the road is a far better and supportive business.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently joined Anytime Fitness Armadale, after not training for a few months. I was slightly worried and hesitant entering an unfamiliar environment however, the team and members here have been so warm and welcoming. It’s quite refreshing to enter the gym and the club manager Sohana always taking the time to greet me and check in. And not to mention the immaculate state of cleanliness the gym is always in. I would 100% recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: I worked out at this particular Gym for a couple of years, 5 to 6 times a week, and always enjoyed my experience, the Gym is always clean, cosy, friendly members, friendly and helpful personal trainer and staff team, If you appreciate professionalism then you would love dealing with Sohana ( Gym Manager ) she is second to none, the Gym has a good range of Machines and equipments to suit any type of goals, equipments are well distributed around the 3 main areas, over all an exellent experience i always enjoyed, hope you will too. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love training at Anytime Fitness Armadale. The club is in tip top shape which is testament to Sohana the club manager and her team. Fantastic experience: One of the best gym I have been to with amazing staff’s who are so friendly and welcoming. The gym is kept very clean and the equipments are well maintained.

Negative experience: Signed up for a 12 month membership. Payments have been all over the place with covid and all. Nothing has been communicated during this time. 12 payments later and i recieve an email saying that a payment is over due. Did not realise that after my 12 month contract, payments would continue to come out until i applied for a cancellation as well as giving anytime fitness 30 days notice. What do they need 30 days notice for? So now i need to pay for two extra months that i never signed up for. Yes, i should have read the contract properly but a bit of communication when coming to the "end" of a contract would be nice. Maybe even just to see how the year went, whether or not i was thinking of continuing and maybe to also remind me that payments will continue even though the contract has ended. I wonder how many people they catch out by doing this. Pretty pathetic during such hard times for some people.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym with sanitisers provided. Lots of equipment, check pics, and general space to workout. Lots of parking behind building.

Negative experience: After moving back from nsw during covid And still getting charged for months whilst in lockdown my previous gym stopped my payments for a few months. Armadale reinstates them charging me an extra $22 per month now not honoring my previous monthly fee that I had for years. The response I had was bad luck pretty much. The worst managers at this gym. No idea how to handle customers. My advice don’t join this anytime. There are plenty of others with nice managers. These guys seem money hungry rather than customer Focused. Let’s see how they handle this with a sorry our fees are our fees. Even though my monthly was lower for years with lots of other anytime gyms including Richmond, Armadale a while back , mount gambier, tweed heads & Miami qld.

Positive experience: Good little gym, not a regular visitor but was impressed with the bathroom facilities. Enough equipment to get a good training session in and feel accomplished but if you want to do any exercises that stray from the core lifts there isn't too much variety.

You can workout while watching your favourite you tube channels , tv, or listern to your own music. Its safe and convenient to access anytime! Day staff friendly and always welcoming,. Negative experience: The cleanliness of this gym has significantly gone down hill over the last few months, I come in at 4 in the morning and there is weights everywhere nothing is put away. Is there any reprocutions to the culprits of this I love coming here but I have to say getting really sick and tired of having to unrack weights to just use a machine

Positive experience: Good sized gym upstairs with 4 clean bathrooms. Nice black benches in bathrooms with full soap dispensers and free shampoo. All facilities appear to be in good working order. Friendly receptionist.

The manager/owner is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered, and would rather argue with members that actually help them. I've been a member at many gyms, including several Anytimes, and this is far and away the worst.
