Positive experience: Good location on centre road with plenty of parking all around. The 24 hrs access and attractive plans make it a good proposition. Not for someone looking for group fitness classes, steam, sauna, pool, etc. Just a good gym with all the equipment most people need to stay fit.

Fantastic experience: Gym is clean has 2 x squat racks and 1 platform for deadlifts and squats. Gym is pretty decently sized and all equipment are cleaned daily. Staff is super nice!!

Fantastic experience: Such a quick and easy sign up process! Hadn’t been a member at a gym before and the staff made sure to go through everything thoroughly with me. Even giving me a very detailed run through on the equipment and exercises I can do. Made me feel very comfortable and excited to come to the gym.

Fantastic experience: Pleasantly surprised with the size of this gym. From the outside it looked a lot smaller but when you walk through there is a huge section designated for weights. Machines a nice and new, always clean and also friendly staff who are always willing to answer any questions you may have. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Really nice staff, I found them super professional, friendly and helpful. A good range of equipment and if you can’t find what you are looking for they have many other gyms nearby catering to what you are looking for. While the gym is arranged nicely I have to mention that I feel that the other people working out make a great environment everyone is respectful and this ensures everyone at any level can go and give it their best which is great for focusing on your own results.

Fantastic experience: Zainab is an absolute champion. During my workout she noticed I had a bit of abdomen discomfort as I have recently strained it. She showed me some great core exercises to strengthen it in the future and gave a lot of helpful advice, as well as being super helpful with any questions I had. She and the other staff are very approachable and lovely, definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I started training at RecXpress Bentleigh from April 2023 and I only have good things to say! The process to sign up was easy and Zainab was extremely patient in guiding me. That was my first great experience in trying out a new gym and, safe to say, I was already interested in exploring some PT options. Zainab heard about my terrible past experience with PTs then introduced me to Tess for some PT sessions and I haven’t looked back since! Tess has been phenomenal as my PT and I cannot recommend her enough. Her attention to detail and consideration while working with me has been nothing short of amazing! I’ve seen results thanks to Tess’s structured approach and ever-motivating mindset to push me the right way! The facilities are amazing and the staff are always with a smile on greeting folks as they enter and exit the gym. So glad that they’re located close by and that I get to train here! Highly recommend checking out any of their branches but if you’re looking in Bentleigh, trust Zainab, Tess and the other trainers to guide you the right way, beginner or not

Positive experience: I love going to Rex Xpress in Bentleigh. My husband and I have been going for almost a year since we moved to Bentleigh. It is a clean, friendly, no fuss type of gym and I highly recommend it! I like that the staff there never try to push products/programs on you, only offer friendly and helpful advice when you ask for it. The only downside is it is a smaller gym and at peak times can get busy, but I can easily time my workouts around those times so generally don't have any issues!

Negative experience: It's been 6 months I have joined. Not enough equipment and not enough space for gym. it's not worth of $14/week. This is reply to owner I have been with different email I guess. I know which gym I am going to daily and there is no enough equipment in bentleigh branch No equipment for crunches and other equipment are very limited Again reply to owner. FUNCTIONAL TRAINER cable was broken in Bentleigh branch and it’s been more than10 days and not fixed yet, we have only one equipment in this branch in that one cable was broken and leg extension and curl machine clothes are teared off. LAT PULLDOWN SEATED ROW Doesn’t have grip for right leg. It’s not at all worth

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Rec Express, under one year, yet, I honestly want to say, it’s been pretty awesome. The equipment is clean, diverse, more than 1 or2 of the same, so, you don’t have to wait. The workout area, is large enough, to find your on workstation & do your thing. It’s always clean, but, at times can get a bit untidy, bc some people, are too lazy, to return err weights, to their place! However, the flexibility, to train at other Rec Express, is also a big plus, particularly for me, using different, heavy equipment . The staff is friendly and more than happy to answer any queries, particularly if your new, at gym or fitness training and not to forget, their personal trainers are awesome. The full membership price, is quite affordable. I always, look forward to a workout, anytime of the day and they’ve been so, upfront and informative, about the Covid lockdowns and it’s reflection, on my membership. Thank you once again and looking forward, to my workouts, at Rec Express. Nikos S

Fantastic experience: A member of Centre Road Bentleigh for 6+ months, great location, 2 second walk from train station. Rec Xpress provides very good cardio and weights facilities with friendly staff. Quickly adjusted to COVID-19 cleaning protocols which were followed perfectly. Also during lockdown provided great online training services. Would highly recommend joining!

Fantastic experience: Great price, they listen to recommendations, can que songs and theres enough equipment to go around. However, it does get very busy at peak times (8-10am, 5-8pm).

Fantastic experience: Unbeatable price and 24 hour, no fuss access. There’s never an excuse now that it’s too early, too late, or bad weather to exercise! Showers are clean and there are two (one handicap accessible) so you never really have to wait. Equipment is good.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for almost a year now and I'm so happy!! I started at the Ormond gym, and have moved to Bentleigh as soon as it opened up earlier this year. It's such a great place to work out, with everyone i've met here being so friendly and the staff have always been wonderful! They greet you as you come in and makes the whole experience here even better. You can always approach them and have a chat, or ask any questions you might have. I really recommend anyone in the area to come here as it's a nice, casual place to workout. And the price of $11 a week makes it very cost effective if you're looking for a great gym for a good price. It has most the machines you'd need and has a great cardio and weights section. For me I love in McKinnon so I'm close to both Ormond and the Bentleigh gym making it so easy to get to and has everything I need to keep fit and enjoy every workout I do. For anyone looking for a gym this is the place to be!!
