Negative experience: Dissapointing, inconsiderate, exspensive. When looking for a gym in the New Year, look anywhere else. Plus Fitness Wembley is just another disappointing example of Gyms treating their members as wallets to be used. Their membership offerings are designed to ensnare you with promising prices which in actuality traps you within lines and lines of small print. Warning, you will pay more than you wish for little value to yourself. Their communication is poor, even by gym standards. Phone conversations are hard to reach, and when done so will result in disappointment as they waive any responsibility of their gym away to customers rather than themselves. All in all, Plus Fitness Wembley is an exspensive gym membership with limited value for customers. I have never been so disappointed from my experience with their services or felt so disrespected as a person with a membership. I will never be using their services again and reccomend others look elsewhere when considering their local Gym.
Hi Brick, we are sorry that you were not satisfied with our business or service. We strive to deliver fantastic service to our members and the countless positive reviews and feedback we receive from old and new members would show that we normally deliver on that. I thought in your instance it would be valuable to provide some clarity and detail on what you were actually disappointed in as your review failed to disclose that. After going away and failing to place your membership on free suspension (members receive 3 months of free timehold per year) a process that is very easily done on our online member portal which can be accessed 24/7 online anywhere, or by simply contacting us with your request. You demanded a refund from us. We contacted you on 7 different occasions in less than 3 months via a combination of calls, emails and SMS checking in on how you were going at the gym and if you had any issues/needed help with anything relating to your membership. You failed to respond to us on any of these communication attempts nor did you contact us at all off your own accord. I certainly wouldn't have thought contacting you 7 times would equate to either poor or a lack of communication on our behalf. We also don't need to "hide anything relating to our memberships in small print" as all our main membership terms and conditions are clearly displayed on our club website in standard sized print. You also have to read and accept these terms and conditions upon joining and you are emailed a copy of these for your own record after joining. We offer one of the most simple and flexible memberships in the industry with no hidden or abstract charges whatsoever. In 10 years of operating we have never had another incident with a member blaming us and expecting compensation for a failure to manage or communicate with us relating to their own membership. Perhaps in future before attacking a small locally owned and operated business, some self reflection and accountability would go a long way. Communicating your actual grievance and issue with that business clearly is also not something people normally fail to do when they have been unfairly or poorly treated. Take care and good luck with your health and fitness goals in the future.
Fantastic experience: I use Plus Fitness for strength training and marathon training. The trainers have always supported my requirements and helped me achieve my goals.

Fantastic experience: I was thrilled to find such a gym 200m from my new house in Perth, open 24/7 and with all the weights and machines one could need, it's the perfect fit. Never too busy to not be able to get a workout in, even in peak hours. Cheers guys!

Hi Parth, I hope you're well. We always value feedback from current or recent members and take all opinions on board as we look for continued improvement always as a business. We have not had anyone train in our club by your name since 2020. So it's probably hard to give an accurate rating or feedback of our current facilities/services if you haven't experienced them. Since 2020 we have done a full gym refurbishment, added extra cardio, strength and functional equipment from the very best suppliers in the industry, while also removing and moving walls to add extra gym floor space. So given the improvements and huge changes the club has had since 2020 we feel your one star review is not only harsh but given with no first hand experience either. All the best with your health and fitness goals.
Fantastic experience: Cam the owner is exceptional and very proactive. The receptionist I've dealt with , Sienna was lovely and the new male PT Patrick has a great manner about him and really knows his stuff, apparently he has also worked in the area of elite sport so his knowledge is expansive.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for about 4 months and the facility is kept clean and well ventilated. Not too busy if you avoid the peak times, decent selection of equipment. Only issue is with the incline leg press, the safety catch was coming on halfway through some of my reps and I had to hold the handles to the side during my set. Overall good gym though

Positive experience: Mostly quiet, well kept facilities, friendly staff. Resistance on two elliptical machines seems to be broken, no resistance on arm bars regardless of level set. have been for a while.
Hi, thanks for your review and positive feedback. We do have regular preventative maintenance servicing on all our gym equipment. We also strive to have any equipment issues fixed and remedied as soon as possible. I was in the club today and after reading your review I tested all 3 Octane elliptical machines. The resistance was working on all 3 at a variety of levels. One thing to note with the Octane machines is they are self-generating, so if you have the resistance very high and the speed drops down too low it goes into a "power up mode". So the resistance drops off until the speed is high enough again to switch off. This is likely what you may have been experiencing. Happy to have a look when you are using them in-club to help out. If you have any issues at all in-club with any pieces of equipment please let our staff know in person, or you can leave a note in our member communication box at reception or give us a call/email. Fantastic experience: Thank you Marv and the team at Plus Fitness for 10/10 experience. We are from interstate and needed a casual membership to keep up our fitness through the Christmas period and during our stay. We were able to join casually and not get locked into any long term contracts/joining fees. Every interaction we’ve had has been no fuss and easy to accommodate from Marv. On top of that the gym is being cleaned constantly by the team and members proactively cleaning equipment post usage. Also great air con and upbeat music which just makes every session more pleasant. Thanks to the friendly staff who are very helpful and made our experience such a positive one. Thank you - we will be seeing you for our next trip here!

Fantastic experience: We approached Plus Fitness Wembley as we had come from interstate and needed a place to keep up the training while in Perth. We met Marv, a lovely smiley chap who offered us a prepaid casual membership - exactly what we were looking for. Every interaction with the staff was easy, informative and professional. The gym is kept clean, is well equipped and never too busy. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Place is very neat and tidy. Always see the couple owners vacuuming and cleaning the place. It looks bright and big with two glass walls. Parking is very convenient with reserved lots for members just outside the gym. Grantham park or herdsman lake is just opposite for those going for a outdoor run.

Fantastic experience: The gym equipment is all new and well set up. The equipment and the gym itself is always kept extremely clean. The gym is hardly ever too busy and the staff members are all very friendly and approachable. Definitely recommend this gym.

Positive experience: It's a good gym with high quality equipment that is obviously well maintained (and is far more hygienic than some of the other gyms I've been to). My only criticisms would be that the gym does not have a particularly strong culture (although this might just be because I only ever use the gym at night) and the lack of a boxing bag, considering they had one when I first joined up. Overall it's a good local gym with good facilities, what more could you ask for.

We are in a difficult predicament with the boxing bag as we're keen to have one as well however a lot of our building is glazing or stud walls so have limited options to secure it (and our priority is member safety). The floor mounted options that we have previously installed have a short 'lifespan' and are therefore not viable for long term use. Fantastic experience: We have just recently moved into the Wembley area and needing a new gym, so we have just been doing some research and day passes in the ones in the area. THIS GYM is by FAR the best one! It was so clean, tidy & extremely well layed out inside. The staff knew that I was looking to sign up & were extremely helpful with everything (thank you especially to Jemma!!). And I can say in full confidence the staff here are MUCH MORE helpful than other gyms I have been to in the area, so thank you so much for not making it a "nightmare task".

Negative experience: They've been removing some hard rock classics from the Spotify selection. Pretty difficult to do serious weight training with commercial club music only. On a more positive note, the gym is very clean and well-maintained.
