Hi Kenneth, There is a sign on the front door of our venue providing you clarify on why this is occurring - you need to upload your vaccination certificate for ‘approval’ as per the legal COVID requirements for all gyms at this time. I’d touch base with your home club for answers as to why they haven’t advised you of this requirement and ask that you raise the issue with them as we are a small business and not connected to that venue or their membership base - if you’re able to attend our gym during staffed hours however, we would be more than happy to further assist you with your access but this is certainly not our choice, we are merely upholding the current regulations - as clarified by the sign on our front door. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to see you soon.

Thank you for your feedback Luke, albeit we're happy to hear you find our staff friendly we are sad to learn that you've not raised your concerns with them directly - as they're here to be of assistance however possible. Our team do their utmost to maintain the COVID regulations - this also includes respecting members wellbeing and medical exemptions - this forms part of the legislation and is certainly our duty and obligation but we do so, on a case by case basis as we have several members who are well known to our staff that have medical exemptions but to you, would appear to merely not be wearing a mask. In addition, while the mask requirements are 'on and off' we ensure that we are well across the level in which the legislation changes are to be enforced and since March 2021 the requirements have been 'masks worn while within indoor facilities unless performing physical activities' and as such, those members who are 'out of breath' while performing physical activities have the right to 'drop them down' but we certainly ask them to put them back on as they continue to wander throughout the venue. We understand that we have a duty of responsibility to maintain a safe and complaint environment and given our staff carry out frequent COVID cleans, we engage professional cleaners who attend the site daily and we have adequet signage throughout the venue to outline the requirements within and outside of staffed hours - we ask you to note that we are human, we are trying our very best and we genuinely care. We cannot force people to 'comply' outside of our staffed hours but we do take the regulations seriously and hope that for the most part, our wonderful members respect the regulations and wellbeing of everyone around them. Our staff cannot be everywhere at once, if you have a concern, please raise it with them, Jules, Murat and Krystle are here to ensure we continue to remain open and that all of our members are safe - but please, wear YOUR mask and keep your distance, albeit others may not do so at all times, for YOUR wellbeing, please do what is best for you and feel free to speak with staff on site for further assistance at any time.

Tracy, we've contacted you many times - via email, sms and telephone but wish to note that throughout the lock down period, when you were calling, the voicemail clearly advised that while we were closed, phones were not being attended to and you were asked to email us, and when you did, we confirmed the payment deduction was an error given that Dan Andrews notified the state of Victoria of a lock down at 4pm on a Thursday and billing for the following day could not be cancelled across the company on such short notice - we happily confirmed your refund and when we spoke to you upon re-opened and were happy to process the refund but you've never come in - we've left countless messages and sent many emails - please contact us when you can, we can issue a refund for the $16.95 at any time.

Hello Aneta, This is a very upsetting time for us as a business, for our gym and understandably for all of our members; however, the change to our legally permitted operation (in order for us to comply with the current and ever-changing Covid Regulations enforced by State Government) at this time means that we are not permitted to operate or open our doors to members unless staff are on site and operating as 'Covid Marshals' to enforce all Covid Safety requirements. This was a change made and applicably instated with a mere 6hrs notice to us as a business and regrettably, at that time, we were not able to engage the additional staff on such short notice to operate our gym beyond the times we allowed for this ONE specific weekend. As all 'Covid Marshals' and AF staff are required to hold a valid Work With Children, Current Police Check, First Aid Certification and carry out the applicable Covid Infection Control Training it proved a challenging task to interview, recruit, and hire additional team members on a Friday night to work the weekend. We have however now managed to do so and are pleased to note we've been able to extend our weekend hours moving forward; and although we are certainly unhappy about the change to our business function and the inconvenience it's caused our members in the past week, I would certainly like to note that this is by no means our 'choice' but we are, as a reputable and respectable business and brand within the fitness industry, OBLIGATED to uphold the required standard to ensure not only the wellbeing of our staff and members but the operation of all businesses within the state and at this time we accommodate the regulations as they apply with our best of efforts, while being incredibly grateful that our doors remain open and we are not forced to once again close our doors. To the best of our knowledge this change is only temporary and we're providing all of our members constant updates by email, social media and in person as we speak with them in club. We remain open and are thrilled to welcome our members into a safe and happy gym as we focus on ensuring we operate at a level that is compliant with all State Government regulations at this time and apologise for the inconvenience caused to you over the weekend but it was NOT out choice and we will be the first to cheer when we are able to return to 24/7 operation. We wish you well on your fitness journey and hope that when you're in our gym next you provide us the opportunity to apologise personally.
