Ryderwear Gym & Retail Flinders Park

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the poor customer service at Ryderwear Gym. I submitted a written cancellation request for my membership and, after hearing nothing back for a while, I called to follow up. A staff member advised me to come in and sign a form, which I did immediately. She told me the cancellation would take two weeks to process. Fast forward a month, and I noticed I was still being charged. When I called again, Ella answered and showed zero empathy or accountability. She bluntly said, "I actually can't see it's been cancelled," and shifted the blame onto the Alberton store because that’s where I originally signed up After much back-and-forth, I finally received a call from the Alberton store, where they admitted they had “forgotten to process the cancellation.” On top of that, they couldn’t even give me a clear answer about how many back payments they owed me. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a six-week headache. Very unhelpful staff and the lack of accountability is unacceptable.Disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Such a great gym and community to be apart of. Ella is always polite with greeting all customers. Great to see the efforts she makes to ensure the gym is clean and a welcoming space for all. Services here is a win!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I joined ryderwear gym Flinders pk, I was impressed with the service and friendly staff who made me feel comfortable and encouraged me to make the first step of my journey. Awesome equipment and friendly customer's who are happy to help you if needed.

Positive experience: It's a good gym and has all the equipments needed, at peak times gets a bit crowded so if you avoid those hours then you will love the gym. Although I rated 3 stars because of customer service, as in the first week of joining I found out that my drive to gym is around 1 hour from city after work when google showed 15 minutes at night which was my misunderstanding, so I went to enquire about cooldown period after 5 days but didn't request a cancellation yet the next day staff went ahead and cancelled my membership so I went to speak to staff to reverse the cancellation coz I still wanted to give it a go for 2 weeks and then cancel it but staff said they will still go ahead with the cancellation but I'm able to continue the gym for another 2 weeks which I didn't feel good about, made me feel almost like a thief for going to gym and not paying anything as I was happy to pay but they reversed the payment that I made and after the 7 days when I went to workout at 10pm on Saturday loaded with pre workout only to find out my key tag is not giving me access to the gym which really annoyed me coz I really wanted to workout for the 2 weeks to try it out and was happy to pay for it and even told the staff that I will join back when you guys open more gyms which will be closer to my address yet they still put me through the inconvenience of driving to the gym just to find out I can't acces the gym when staff said that I could.

Positive experience: Not enough space for cardio, stretching or exercise. Outdoor space is fine but it is open after 7am only.

Fantastic experience: This gym, high class, all round.Me and gym, been mates for years. He provides the tools, I provide the time.️‍♂️ What better relationship could you have. But since coming to Ryder wear Gym, Gym has lifted his game with me, and said " Jake I'm not only going to provide more tools for you at Ryder wear gym but I will teach you some more tricks with fine tuning, your body. Great staff work at Ryder's! Which they know there area....

Fantastic experience: The only negative about this place is that it's crowded. Almost 24/7. Other than that, it's better than any facility I have been to in Adelaide. N believe me, I've been to many! This place will motivate you! Just give 15 minutes each day for 2 weeks and I'll guarantee you will not leave it.

Positive experience: Very relaxed and easy going staff. They always say hello and goodbye. The equipment is excellent. An excellent variety of quality machines and heaps of dumbbells and plates. You might wait a few minutes for benches and treadmills if you are there in peak hours but, if not, then youll be fine. This is an excellent gym if your focus is resistance training.

Fantastic experience: Ryderwear gym is a great place to workout. There are so many options of machines/equipment and workout spaces, including an outdoor area for more of a HIIT focus, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The shop also has so much on offer and is really convenient. The membership price is excellent and the facilities are always clean.

Fantastic experience: Great new local gym to train at, recently joined as membership expired at another gym near by. Glad to have joined here, friendly and very helpful staff, great variety of machines and free weight equipment and best of all is the music isnt headbashing hardcore trance beats at 430am!! Keep the good work up guys

Positive experience: All the great equipment you would need for a great workout. Only complaint would be the very loud music. You will need ear plugs or headphones.

Fantastic experience: Great brand new gym. They have a variety of equipment that is great for all level of user. I've been training for over 15 years and I do appreciate using different equipment to activate different fibres of the muscle. They offer affordable membership options.

Positive experience: Had a good session, the gym is well stocked and fairly big. $10 for a casual sesh is a fair price. Only downside really was how unorganised all the plates were. No coordination in how they were stacked and put away. Someone working the floor keeping it tidy would have been a good investment, but didn't see any staff manning the floor. Also no communal belt, wrist wraps or bar jack made Deadlifts a pain for a casual visit.

The Matt black gym is a vibe, you can’t help but get your PB’s here. If you are serious about lifting, this is the place you need to be.
