Fantastic experience: It’s been a month now since I signed up here, I never regret my decision joining here, the staffs here are super friendly and nice. The equipments are all good and clean. Heaps of parking space. And the free fruits, protein bars and drinks every Friday is superb.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Anytime Fitness Richlands has been fantastic. The staff are really warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The gym is really clean and well-equipped too. Fantastic experience: I'm a member of anytime fitness Hastings and had the opportunity to try out anytime fitness Richlands while I was visiting family in Brisbane. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who showed me around the club, I think her name was Veronica. The gym itself is super organised, clean and has all the equipment you could want. On both of my visits I noticed team members clean the gym and make sure everything is presentable. I also learnt that they do free snacks for members every Friday, which is a little extra perk that I don't have at my usual gym. Overall, the friendly staff, extra amenities and general vibe made going to the gym extra enjoyable. 10/10

Negative experience: i wish i could give no stars, they were so rude to me that i ended up crying and ive lost all the motivation i desperately tried to gather for myself to join the gym. i understand the need to make a sale and their “motivational tough love drill sargent” attitude but that actually really hurt my feelings i’m super sensitive and have been too scared to join a gym even though i really want/need to get fit i’ve just been too scared and this has sealed the deal for me i have officially given up. please try to be more kind to people who want to join, because you just don’t know what someone is potentially going through :’(

Negative experience: UNPROFESSIONAL??? Rude manager and staff. The manager is no knowledge of any product and too rude no respect as well. It is too unpfesional and not knowing what to do and also liyers too. Please don't go there and NOT RECOMMENDED!

Fantastic experience: So happy with the gym, signed me up over the phone super easy and the new AF app is amazing, love that you can see how many members are in the gym at once, no need for a key tag anymore and personalised training programmes! Other gyms would charge for this. Staff are also so lovely.

Negative experience: This is the perfect gym for you if: -You like working out on filthy floors with dust bunnies, bugs and months worth of sweat. -You like deflated slam balls. -You like wasting your workout time searching for the correct weight or dumbbell. -You like your weight machines with sticky handles and old/poorly maintained accessories. -You like your water fountain with a slow flow rate and a constantly blinking change filter sign. I rarely use this AF anymore despite it being the closest gym to me. When I do have to use it in a pinch it’s always the same. Dirty and poorly maintained. I use Goodna, Springfield & Yamanto AF and they’re never in this state. Super disappointing AF Richlands!
Hi Nicole, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your most recent experience with us. Firstly, the floors are vacuumed by our gym staff and cleaners daily. Unfortunately due to the holiday period, we like to allow our team members (including our cleaners) to have some well deserved time off. Thus, unfortunately when the gym is unstaffed (seeing as though our ceilings are 8m high), dust that usually hides on top of the bathrooms/offices can be blown off onto the floor by our fans. Our cleaners started back this week and have done an incredible job making the gym spotless again. In regards to the slam balls, if you kindly take note at all other AF locations, the slam balls are supposed to be slightly asymmetrical or in your words 'deflated'. This is because they are full of weight, and not supposed to be completely round and full of air, as they are not meant to bounce! They are SLAM balls :). ALL machine handles were serviced over two months ago and have all remained in great condition since. Finally, our water fountain is on a maintenance schedule and is serviced every 3 months. Our filter was also replaced last month as soon as the warning light alerted us it needed replacement, so Im not sure if you may have your locations confused, however i can assure you this is not an issue we have here at AF Richlands. Fantastic experience: Spacious gym with a high roof which creates a great atmosphere. Plenty of squat racks. I like the area with medicine balls and dumbbells for workouts was convenient for HIIT. Free wifi was a bonus (my AF centre closer to home doesn’t have free wifi). Helps when watching videos for my workouts. Plenty of parking. One improvement would be the water fountain which was a bit slow.

Negative experience: Wish there was a way i couldnt give this review even a star, gym staff are incompetent, rude and unprofessional. they just like taking your money but when you decide you wanna cancel your membership, it becomes an issue. they don't do it even after the 30 days notice has passed. I wrote an email one of the staff told me to do so, i did that 6 days ago with no reply, when I call the manager is not in, how come she is not in everyday when I decide to call? Does she even work there anymore? Or its all a joke,. I'm very upset that I requested to cancel my membership due to the fact that I don't train anymore due to other factors I keep getting charged my hard earned money for something I don't even use. cancel my membership and stop taking my money, the bank couldn't stop the direct debit so I need that to stop.
Hi Kevin, Our cancellation policy is outlined on the membership documents you sign when you join the gym. All memberships outside of minimum term require 30 days notice inclusive of 30 days worth of payments. If your written notice was sent 6 days ago, you still have 24 days left in your notice period. Kindly note, we also do not have your name, cancellation email, or membership in our system, so it appears you must be a member of a different club. I would advise contacting your correct home club to rectify this issue, as Richlands does not have access to your member records and cannot assist you with cancelling. Fantastic experience: Came here with my friend the other day to train and just had to leave a review !!! The staff are so beyond lovely and supportive. I asked if one of the girls at the front desk (I think her name was Georgia) could help me check my form for an exercise and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could train here all the time!

Negative experience: Richlands Anytime Fitness magaer is the worst ever. The customer service is worst and the manager is too worest never deserve to that place.I am sure the owners will solve the manager poor performance.

As per our conversation in club, I do not appreciate you aggressively speaking to myself and my staff members, while trying to tell me our staff never answer the phone and have 'the worst service ever' because you call us multiple times outside of our staffed hours. Myself and my membership consultants all assisted you in the cancellation of your account as best as we could considering you weren't able to pay your cancellation fee until today when your card arrived. As staff explained to you several times, I was on annual leave when you sent your cancellation email, which was responded to as soon as I returned to club. This is because our membership consultants are not authorised to process cancellations which both they and I explained to you multiple times. In future, you may have more of a pleasurable conversation with staff if you do not aggressively speak over them and demand unreasonable actions on our behalf. Positive experience: Considering it had only opened for about a year +, the gym looks old. Lots of damaged equipment, and poorly equipped with benches considering there is so much floor space. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: This gym has been amazing for me to get back into fitness and I have enjoyed every visit. The staff are so lovely and supportive to deal with. I am always greeted with a smile and the communication and customer service is top tier. The facilities are in great condition, super clean and nothing is crowded. The gym has all the equipment I need, I never feel like I’m waiting to use any machine and the gym etiquette by all members is awesome. Everyone who uses the gym is kind and respectful. I have been a member at other gyms and felt uncomfortable but not at this gym ! I have recommended Richlands to my friends and am so happy to have joined with them.
Negative experience: Bad service. Someone block driveway. I asked staff for help. But She just said:" I don't know, you don't even't park here, I can't help you."

Please note, you haven't been charged anything extra, simply the 30 day notice cancellation payments that were stipulated in your membership agreement when you first joined the club. Negative experience: This club is an absolute scam. For the last year i’ve been trying to cancel for them to say it will be cancelled to then be charged again the next month. Not impressed and I will be telling everyone to go else where.

Negative experience: Worst of worst gym I’ve ever signed up with. Been trying to cancel my membership since I signed up in 2019 but I always get asked for a valid reason, First of all its none of their business to ask and it’s not their money that they’re working for. If there’s a gym I’ll have to label as money hungry it will be Anytime Fitness. Please do not waste your time or money.

It is company policy to connect with our members and discuss cancellation reasons. This is so we can provide our customers with the best service and solutions available. Our primary goal is to keep you motivated, fit and healthy! Please be aware the the notes reflected on your account stipulate your have not met cancellation requirements on various occasions. We were unable to retrieve a signed cancellation form that is required as per our terms & conditions. It also states that all attempts to contact you were unsuccessful. Whilst assisting you with your cancellation requests, our staff have repeatedly informed you of our 30 days written notice policy. As a gesture of goodwill, we accepted your written notice via email - as opposed to having you visit the club and sign the appropriate paperwork formally. We are sorry if you feel this is unfair, however please note this is a general cancellation policy you will encounter with most gym/fitness facilities.
Positive experience: I think everyone wishes it had a bit more space and more machines, I'd really love an abductor machine which they don't have, and also a dedicated bench for hip thrusts would be great. Also, some machine handles have been missing/broken for a long time that should be fixed as they are sticky to hold.

Negative experience: Personally visited and asked to cancel my subscription. After 2 months my bank charged with fortnightly subscription. Visited again and asked why my account charged again. She said you have told us to froze the subscription. Blah blah blah. Now pay two more subscription and we will permanently cancel it.

Unfortunately we feel there must have been some miscommunication, as it is stated in our cancellation policy in your membership agreement that all cancellations outside of minimum term require 30 days notice. Our team offered you 2 months completely free as a gesture of goodwill, in attempt to help get you back on track with your health and fitness journey! When you accepted this offer, your cancellation notice was not processed and we mentioned that you would need to re-request cancellation should you still feel that you no longer wanted to continue with your membership (proceeding this free period). This 30 day notice period accounts for the two fortnightly payments you have been told need to be paid before your account could be terminated. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our staff via phone or email!

Positive experience: The facility is nicely renovated. I think what needs to make this gym more enjoyable is some replacements or upgrades to the equipment. Other than that, it's great, nicely airconditioned, lighting is good and the staff are very kind.

Negative experience: Old equipment, no sanitation available, bathrooms need to be cleaned more ofter. Theres a hole in the door of the middle bathroom. I prefer going to Goodna

Negative experience: Nicely equip gym but impossible to contact to cancel gym membership. Been trying for over 3 months to cancel via in person, phone calls, website inquiry forms, even ringing head office (only to get an answering machine again!). These people must all be on one big happy holiday! My credit card was charged twice in the process... Lucky for Them... Tough Toe Nails for me, as they won't refund my card any amount. It will be the last time I enter a Anytime Fitness Gym... That is fore sure. They are lucky to get a one star from me.
Negative experience: No spots to do your core workouts with the mats and smells pretty bad a bit crowded when I went to, but still good location I guess
Negative experience: Gym is too dirty. Toilet is always clogged and no cleaners to tidy up the place. Its a busy gym and supposed to have a regular cleaning routine but sadly, thats not the case
Negative experience: I like going to this gym because it’s the closest for people that live around the 4077 surbubs, compared to the other anytime fitness gym nearby they need to update their facility and equipments I gotta admit the stuff is freindly which is a good thing just have to start considering changes to the things above.
Positive experience: Great facility, plenty of exercise machines and weights equipment. Not too crowded either every time I go there seems to be less people than other anytime fitness locations. Plenty of parking, toilets and showers also available. Staff are friendly and always greet when you arrive/leave. Adherence to covid guidelines as expected. Plenty of wipes and sanitiser available.
Negative experience: Richlands AF is smaller than other AF I've been too. It's not that well supervised with bins overflowing with used wipedowns, empty spray bottles and only one drink fountain. Cardio machines aren't Life Fitness brand which I think are industry standard, but that may be a personal preference. Not my favourite gym and could be better if the staff picked up their game.
Fantastic experience: Great staff that will help you in any way they can. Good Equipment, clean as people are asked to wipe down after they use the equipment. Great music, good to workout too. Toilets and showers good safe parking. I'm very happy I joined
Positive experience: Friendly staff, very small space and toilets are all unisex so they're not very clean. Wish there was a better stretching space as you can't get any when it's super busy
Positive experience: All I know is that the atmosphere seems right and it's only busy inbetween 4:30-8:30 otherwise the place is empty.the people of Richland's are good quality and friendly for the most part.i think we all recognize that it's a small facility and thus I try to be patient and I give people credit for being courteous.we all wanna do a certain exercise and most people are willing to let you work inbetween their sets .
Negative experience: Old equipment, there is only one lifting platform, 2 bar bells only. there is no space to do any functional training. Some of the weights are torn off rubber showing metal. There is no Olympic flat weights. Most of the machines are basically are next to each other which should be further apart due to covid. Some of the machine have tares on the seats. And they only have only one type of genre music (Hip Hop)I would not recommend this gym, Best to go to AF in Goodna or Redbank Plains. Better facilities, a lot more space and better music. I am currently looking for a better gym. Hi note, staff are friendly.
Positive experience: It's pretty small which isn't a problem except it is also pretty busy. This means you sometimes need to wait for equiptment. They also dont have a boxing bag. On the flip side, there staff are really great and super friendly.

Fantastic experience: I like this gym. The equipment is modern and varied and the atmosphere and music are conducive to a good workout. Also, you can choose your own music. The staff are super friendly and professional (Skye, Amber etc.) and Sorin (personal trainer) makes everyone feel welcome and gives some good laughs. The only problem I have is that during busy times there can be a bit of a wait to use some equipment. Also, the space for stretching is limited. Overall, this gym is awesome but I hope that with the influx of residents into the Richlands, a larger gym space might be considered.

Negative experience: Way to tight in there. Can't even get to the free weights without tripping over people.
Negative experience: Poor facilities and the staff are barely helpful. Overwhelming alpha masculine community that take up equipment for ages, which is extremely time consuming considering there is limited equipment as is. Worse is, the staff are friends with these people so little is done for those who aren't friends with staff. Rather biased community. Also, everything mentioned about contracts in other reviews is accurate.
Fantastic experience: They lock you in, over charge you, and you can't get out.
