Anytime Fitness Salisbury Downs

Negative experience: They deduct 8 Dollars and then say that it dint accpet the card. It happened 4 days ago and still the money hasn’t arrived yet‍↕️ Wont recommend anyone

Negative experience: The worst experience ever with this particular location. The manager is useless and clueless. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was paying $20 weekly because i didn’t want to be on contract but even then when i was to cancel membership there was a catch to it. You can’t cancel and stop it immediately, they will keep debiting your account for the next month. Signed up with Derrimut for $168 a year. Huge gym. Friendly stuff. Pleasant smell and beautiful atmosphere.

Negative experience: Very rude customer service by anyime fitness management. They charge you heaps for your membership. Better option is to sign up with Dermott gym and they only cost 250 per year compared 1000 per year by anytime fitness.

From my personal experiences with her, Tabitha creates a fantastic and welcoming space. For anyone interested in cardio exercises I highly recommend one of her classes as she has had a large and lasting positive impact on my fitness journey.

Positive experience: Good equipment and staff. As someone who lifts heavier than most, I still manage to put away my weights afterwards. So many people do not do it, nor do they wipe down equipment afterwards. Almost daily I'm putting away for other people/helping put away weights to help others, and telling people to wipe down afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Admittedly due to work commitments I have not been able to check the place out since the new refresh but I've heard so many good things about from my friends who go so I cannot wait to go again and see what all the fuss is about! Amazing job guys

Positive experience: A nice welcoming smile and "Hello" as I entered and scanned in. It's been a while since my last visit. This is a neat and tidy gym with several sanitising stations scattered around for everyone's convenience. I felt comfortable during my workout as everyone seemed to keep to themselves while abiding by the recent health regulations.

Negative experience: Equipment and facilities are great, can’t say the same for customer service or their complaint handling. Transferring members without consent during gym renovations resulting in higher membership fees and no email notices!

Negative experience: Anytime fitness salisbury downs customer service are dishonest, disrespectful and not trusted with direct debit payments. My direct debit card was charged while service was on freeze. I call them 4 time to and discussed regarding this matter to not charge my account while on freeze. They kept apologising but nothing changed. Till I had to visit my bank to stop direct debit. By that time my account was conned over $200. After I stopped direct debit payment they closed the account and refused to refund. As result of this I will never trust them and I will never use their service again.

Negative experience: I used to go there long time ago when I signed up they ask for an email. I give them my business email and told them I do not want any offers or anything on my email!!! They told me you won't get anything.now I'm sick of deleting their emails every day

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, big gym. There are multiples of the same equipment (machines, not just squat racks), which is nice when the gym gets busy. Has free classes for members, top facilities that are regularly cleaned (toilet, showers, etc). Has a vending machine and a refreshment station (with communal use aerosol deodorant, etc) Overall very great gym.

Negative experience: Anytime fitness Salisbury downs has been charging me monthly fee even when I had it on paused and could be you. Has happened to me more then 2 times now. Just a reminder for everyone Please pay attention to your bank accounts as you’d get charged every month regardless if it’s on paused. Canceling is a better option. Not happy with this gym and the managers at all.

Fantastic experience: Surprisingly great gym, plenty of space. Multiples of the same machine. Never need to wait for equipment. Facilities are clean and tidy. People actually put back their weights back. Keep up the good work!

Positive experience: First time. A good clean gym with all the equipment. What was missing was exercise mats. I was told by a member they keep them locked away. With no staff present, this was disappointing. Otherwise a good gym to visit while in Adelaide visiting family.

Fantastic experience: I have been with anytime fitness since 2016 before it was renovated to become a largest facility with plenty of equipment. The gym is cleaned and machines are maintained regularly. The staff members especially Sonya, Ella, Ivan and Georgia they are the friendliest and provide excellent customer service. The gym also provides fun and engaging free classes such as boxing and yoga.

Negative experience: Would be one of the best gyms if it weren't for those disrespectful workers, who think nothing but making money. When trying to propose a better deal for myself, i get brushed off and lied too. Worst customer service i have ever faced. Would not recommend this gym, if i was able to give a lower ranking i would.

Negative experience: Absolutely worst gym EVER!!! Highly would not recommend!! If I could give 0 zero stars, I would!!! Staff there (ELLA & SONYA) is outright rude, very unprofessional & EXTRMELY petty & moody. They will look for absolutely any excuse to fine you. Was a member of anytime fitness at another place for over 2 years and had zero issues there, only to come here, I had to deal with constant annoyance & unprofessional behaviour. If you are a current member, I recommend you to double check if you ever get charged as I was issued a fine on multiple occasions for simply re-entering the gym twice (either to go to my vehicle or do something else) and had to do go there EVERY SINGLE TIME to prove that it was me & then being informed I would be getting a refund but never being issued one.

Negative experience: Honestly so disgusted with the poor customer service of this gym, I did a 7 day trail and decided that because I was a member with anytime fitness else where previously, that it would be a cheaper alternative for me to join back with them. Ever since I have been constantly targeted by their staff treating me so much disrespect, during the staffed hours. I understand that losing my business mustn't have been of benefit for them but telling me that I can't play Music because someone else is in the room is beyond my understanding (mind you it wasn't loud). Also, another time I was issued a fine outright because another member walked in with me because they had forgotten their tag. We called multiple times the next day to let them know but no one picked up. I would understand if they were not a member and I was fined but on the odd occasion if a member walks in why not warn me an issue? I have heard from other members that, normally a warning would be issued even if they came in with a non-member let alone with a member of the gym. So I'd highly recommend to not waste your hard earned money on a gym where customer service is least of their concern, unfortunately otherwise the gym is great and well equipped.

Negative experience: Had been with anytime for 3 so years wasn't in a contract anymore yet when I tried to leave because of illness and poor management they tried charging me a leaving fee even though I wasn't in a contract! Took them to the ACCC and won as they had no leg to stand on. Stand up for your rights if you leave this location and have sat the terms because they'll try and get as much money as they can from you. I was on a periodic contract yet the manager sent me email saying I had to pay and screen shot photos of a contact for a "fixed term" contract which I wasn't on.

Positive experience: This gym has improved a lot. A lot of real estate which means more equipment. Recently, they replaced all their treadmills and cross trainers with new one. A lot of weights and presses to choose from.
