Ready 24 Gym

Fantastic experience: This is, by far, the best gym in Yeppoon. The space isn't huge but is very well organized, and there is much more equipment that you would think. There is an impressive number of squat machines, hack squat, leg press, together with squat racks and smith machine, a professional bench press for the big guys who want to tray their PR in safety, plenty of dumbells, fixed barbells, kettlebells and other weights. The staff is great, there when you need them, the owner is probably one of the most, if not the most, knowledgeable PT in town, from what I can see. Yes, it's a low bar in Yeppoon, still... They also have a good choice of protein shakes and other protein food, I tried the chocolate WPI, no nasties, sweetened with stevia and also the best tasting proteins I have ever tried. Reasonably priced, too.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in Yeppoon. Nissa and her team of Personal Trainers are knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. They have a great offering of an in gym crèche which is perfect if you’ve got little ones. A clean and well equipped gym. Suitable for any type of fitness level, from those just getting started all the way through to the heavy power lifters. A positive, inclusive club for all. You won’t be disappointed.

Negative experience: Admin staff were good. Unfortunately crèche staff would prefer to sit at the table then interact with the children. The weights area is super crowded, lots of wasted space in the gym and no windows. Kind of feels like a dungeon, definitely needs a good reno.

Starting out 45kgs overweight this gym has helped me lose 30kg to date in 18 months. I wouldn’t be living my best life right now if it wasn’t for support Ready 24 has given me.

Fantastic experience: I used to think gyms were for tossers until I started at ready24. I had never been to a gym in my life and at the age of 50 decided to give it a go to help out with some personal goals. Nissa put together a plan to start on and as things became more familiar I tried new things to find what works for me and what doesn't. Not only has it helped but I have been able to achieve things I thought were well beyond me. Having had a couple of knee ops I have been able to focus on leg strength and the knees are great. I mostly train at night when it is quite and have now got my boys going. Ready24 is very well equipped and maintained with plenty of room for working out however you choose. I have since been to other gyms while working away but there seems to be a more friendly atmosphere here. You really do owe it to yourself to give it a go.

Fantastic experience: Everyday when I walk into the gym the girls are always there to greet me with a smile. Stevie is my PT and she is amazing. She is very encouraging and is great at listening to my wants and needs when it comes to my program and the results I want. Stevie is easy to get along with and have a laugh with. Couldn’t be happier with their services

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Love equipment, the spinning classes and outdoor area. I think would be great if it had music outside aswell. Another good idea would be if there were more hangs in mens showers for towels and clothes. The crowd Dj is an awesome way to enjoy your work out, just a bit slow, might need an update or something but is great. Staff are very friendly and helpfull! Bought local honey from reception and i appreciate the initiative to support local and small business.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and lovely environment. Staff always there to guide you and keep the gym clean and the friendly ready 24 community helps anyone that will ask. Great selection of different classes as well as events held. R24 is more pricey than the other gyms around notably Yeppoon health and fitness and Snap fitness; However it is still the clear best choice as it more than makes up for the $1 or $2 difference in price. The gym has a wide range of equipment MMA, cycling running, weightlifting, powerlifting and calastetics. Due to the gyms popularity and wide array of equipment the gym can get cramped at times, notably the weights area. Overall I highly recommend and I believe it to be the best gym in town.
