Positive experience: A good gym..they need more weights in group fitness room however...often not enough to go around in the classes

Positive experience: The gym is okay, compared to other Goodlife gyms, kind of bareboned. The staff are friendly until they take your money, but won't even come out their room to speak to you when have questions. The mandatory training sessions are a joke. I purposefully did some exercises wrong and the instructor didn't even correct my form. It's always cool and AC is on full blast, so it's difficult to even sweat inside. I am just going there because there aren't any other options. OH yes, almost forgot. The weights are not correct. They seems to be heavier than standard weight plates, also some of the machines have no proper weight makings. i.s LBS or Kg.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love going to the gym, and Goodlife is a fantastic place to work out. I’m thrilled to have it so close to my home. All the classes are excellent, and the gym is always well-organised with equipment in great working condition.

Negative experience: The worst Goodlife I’ve ever been. Very small, not many equipment and treadmills very old. Would never recommend to anyone. Very disappointed. I couldn’t do the training session as they don’t have enough equipment such as leg curl which is a very essential and simple equipment in a gym.

Positive experience: A gym that meets all my needs. Contrary to the negative comments about equipment quality, I find the equipment to be in good condition. I've never had any issues with parking either. The only potential drawback is the limited number of equipment. If you don't go during off-peak hours, you might have to wait for dumbbells and other gear for your turn.

Negative experience: Great yoga class and a few good other options for classes. Sadly the rest of the gym.... sad state of affairs. Equipment that is so old and worn it belongs in a museum. Handles worn to the metal, that's how old, plus no amount of repair will make it work. Some of it is near impossible to adjust. I read through previous reviews highlighting the same issues, with the response from the gym being that this may not be the place for you.. not impressed and there may well be some other options around, if that's the club's attitude and the value it places on customer feedback.

Negative experience: Lackluster weightlifting area - if you actually want to lift hard this is not the place. Not enough space in the free weights area, limited racks, old equipment. Honestly over-priced.

Negative experience: Goodlife is such a untrustworthy place. I made a contract with a staff recently, which I asked them to send me an email with detailed discounts they suggested to me. However they did not send the email I requested. So I went there again to just cancel the contract. I forgot about this for a while but today I saw the money including the join fee and monthly fee combined were sent out of my bank account. I don’t know how many times I need to go up to them to solve this issue. I am so frustrated at how unorganised they are as well as how much time I wasted in this useless issue.

Negative experience: Been with this gym for 5 years and wanted to pause my membership for two weeks as I was going away, and asked a staff member at the counter whom referred me to the app. Tried to access, but had issues, went back to her and she asked me to come back tomorrow. Spoke to a manager days later and she said she would pause my membership, but never did. Have asked twice to speak to the club manager and still waiting after a month. Have now decided to cancel my membership.

Fantastic experience: I almost cancelled my goodlife membership until I discovered this one. Great little gym, has everything I need, big area for classes and super friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Service is very good. In my first day I never felt strange. Everyone helped to me. Group classes are very good. Honestly This is the great place.
Negative experience: Signed up for gym, then queried some admin fees that were never discussed or referred to in offer. No reply so cancelled my membership in person well within 7 day cooling off period with manager, who couldn’t have been more disinterested, didn’t even ask why, and via email. Predictably they have still debited my account for monthly fee. What a joke. Do not sign up!
Fantastic experience: Open 24/7 and does what a gym needs to do and does it simply. Free parking and easy access. No pools or saunas to pay for if you don’t need it.

Why don't you just give them ring ,talk to staff and give it a go. Catch up with you in the gym .

Fantastic experience: Great all round gym and super friendly staff. Its a busy, vibrant one, but open 24/7 & delivers its promise. The group fitness classes are the best, so get there early they fill up fast! I've been a member for several years and I'll just keep renewing, it's everything you need from a Gym. Happy customer!
Positive experience: First time at this gym. For those that manage travel with exercise, I can confirm the after-hours pass works interstate. Overall, it was a pleasant gym. The workout areas are pretty impressive. Two drawbacks to note. Some of the belts on the running mackines slip, which didn't make me feel safe. The lockers in the change rooms were all taken, guessing people should put their name on the door.
Negative experience: Gym is way more expensive then competitors and provides less. Cancellation fee is also insane.

Negative experience: Recently cancelled my membership after many years. Gym turned to cr@p, cleanliness standards dropped, rarely any sanitising wipes available, gym equipment mostly worn out or out of order. Staff were arrogant and rude when asked when equipment would get fixed.
Fantastic experience: I have been a member at the Burnside Goodlife for the past 12 years, but I couldn't utilize the services as much as I wanted as I was working full time. Now that I am retired, I do go more often and love the Stenght for Life program and the Yoga class on Tuesdays. I like the friendly and helpful staff and the ambiance of the place. From now on Goodlife Burnside will be my second home!
Negative experience: gym is a piece of sh×t treadmills are all stuffed. how can you operate a gym like this
Negative experience: Goodlife doesn’t care or respect its members at all. It has been well over a week now that despite paying a premium for 24/7 access to get to the gym before work, it’s again not available which is becoming a common occurrence. There’s no urgency to fix the issue but you could be guaranteed that if the issue was impacting their ability to collect membership payments, it would have been fixed within hours of the issue being identified. Goodlife also does minimal to engage with members. A few years ago they’d offer things like free product samples etc, but this has completely stopped. It’s also interesting how they tell everyone to be COVID safe and clean your equipment, however there’s rarely disinfectant spray or wipes available to do so. Goodlife is making its competitors look more appealing by the day, so seriously consider other gyms before them. Very disappointing!

Fantastic experience: Another excellent step class on Easter Monday with the talented Joseph. We're so lucky with our step & aerobics instructors, they are imaginative, with such enjoyable & challenging moves! The new group fitness timetable is really good with lots of choice.

Positive experience: A great gym which meets all my needs. Excellent classes particularly enjoy Balance, Lynleys pilates move, zumba and shbam. Did enjoy Barre but covid seems to have impacted. Staff are great, gym clean and good equipment.
Fantastic experience: great fitness classes. My favourite is Body Pump. Staff are very helpful. Instructors are awesome. Guide you through the class and make it fun. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I'm loving Burnside Goodlife! The classes are excellent my favourites are pump, balance, rpm and yoga. Also, I have an awesome personal trainer. I'm feeling all the better for it with more energy, and I'm fitter and healthier now that I have this new routine.

Fantastic experience: The group fitness classes here are fantastic! There is a great selection and the instructors are excellent. I have recently returned from Sydney and couldn’t find anything comparable. Although the gym is small, it is friendly and personal with highly trained staff...this is what makes it special!

Positive experience: To be honest, considering it's in a wealthy area, this location is tiny and not very special!! There's not much space to workout in, in comparison to other goodlifes I've been to (cbd and Noarlunga). The group fitness area is nice, but you're very hard pressed to find a space to workout in during peak hour...let alone a small area to stretch in after a class. I guess my expectations were a little high

Negative experience: The sales team are dishonest and will twist their words to sign you up for contracts which you didn’t agree. I would not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Just Joined GoodLife. Had a wonderful guy who joined me up named Zachary. Couldn't beat the price. Great price! Classes too. A bit of everything at Burnside GoodLife. Happy workout everyone
Negative experience: My Grandfather (86, with health problems) had an appointment with a physio here and the physio made him wait for over half an hour past his appointment time just to stand around and chat. My grandfather understandably got upset and ended up leaving because he was being completely ignored. The manager then called my grandmother (a long time customer at this gym) and said my grandfather wasn't welcome back because he was "rude" for leaving, despite their staff being in the wrong. The staff and management have mistreated and bullied my grandparents simply for wanting to be treated fairly at a gym that they pay for. Shame on them!
Negative experience: Very little care taken with social distancing or cleaning and putting away equipment. Three or four stationary bikes have had OUT OF ORDER SIGN on them for at least two weeks!!!
Negative experience: This club is always busy and overcrowded. Additionally, if you change mind in the middle of the one year term, there is no way to get out unless you pay the balance for the whole year.
