Fantastic experience: Clean gym with a varied amount of equipment and the staff supper friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Starting at the bottom at a new gym sucks, not having any clue what to do as far as workout structure, form and macros go. Google is great but the best advice I get comes from the manager, Big Joe. Throughout my past few months here, he's always been keen to help me with questions about new workouts, the form and setting macro goals. Last week I felt my lats were lagging behind so I asked and he ran me through his favourite back workouts. On Monday I was trying some new chest workouts and without hesitation he was over at the cables with me, running me through his form, giving me tips on mine and continued to run me through some incline Smith machine presses and offered to spot me. All in all a top bloke and even better manager. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Incredible gym, staff are very friendly always starting up a chat soon as I walk through the door always brightens my mood, all equipment works great clean and safe environment the community is one of a kind. Joe is more than happy to go above and beyond with giving advice about diet and workout when asked. I have visited many other snap fitnesses that are filthy and unregulated this snap is the only one that maintains a clean gym and actually has room for it's machines. I have and will continue to recommend this gym to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Helensvale Snap Fitness to meet Wayne to consult on my general fitness and specifically weight management. I was so impressed I joined on the spot! I usually go to the gym 5 times a week, and enjoy my work there. Manager Joe is a very decent fellow and always great with advice when asked. The facilities are excellent, all the equipment I need and more, and the fact the place is never crowded is appealing. I have been a member of gyms before where what could be called a macho culture exists, and men delight in dropping heavy weights they clearly cant lift comfortably on the floor loudly to somehow demonstrate their prowess (it does NOT impress me). None of that sort of stupidity is present in Joe's gym. People are friendly, respectful and non-invasive of others' space and quiet enjoyment of the facility. I am happy to recommend this facility to anyone wanting to work on fitness in a clean, pleasant, well equipped gym, which is open all hours, by the way, so very convenient.

Fantastic experience: I don’t come to this gym as it’s not my closest but my gym was closed due to renovations. Had the best experience at this gym, the equipment and layout were great. The staff were also so friendly and helpful which made the experience so rememberable, will definitely come here for my workouts now.

Fantastic experience: Been here for the past 2 years, and Joe (Club manager) and Veronika (PT) have been the absolute best duo to manage this place. Gym machines and floor area have been re-organised and weights renewed, lovely and friendly staff and community. A fantastic gym for anyone looking to come In and kickstart a journey towards healthy lifestyle changes! Friendly gym goers morning to night, and so lovely seeing some regular faces for the past years consistently, shows that people appreciate this gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is really good I recommend it for all ages groups. I’m in my teenage years and I still feel like this is a safe place for me unlike other gyms I have been to. No one judges you they all respect you and you can have really good conversations with everyone here.

Fantastic experience: Great clean environment, the air conditioning system works great unlike many other gyms in GC. Nice attitude, friendly and helpful crew. The sanitizers always full in case if need. Not too busy depending on the time. Enough devices to crows ratio normally you won't need to wait. Although the devices are pretty old, my preference is the air conditioning especially during summer times.

Negative experience: Experience was ok but just disappointed with the showers. Looks like they haven’t been cleaned in months. Spider webs on the ceiling, dust and dirt on the floor, caked on gunk on the walls and shower floor.shower screens are musty yellow coloured, haven’t been cleaned.Been to a few snaps in NZ and around australia, this the worst I’ve seen, showers need an upgrade.they look sad.But besides that everything else was good. 1 or 2 outdated machines but yeah needs some attention. I forgot to take photos . Will do on my next visit.

Negative experience: **All that was "wanted" was what your employed club managers had promised. A refurb with new equipments including treadmills and fixture of a fan thats been broken for months. Any business can offer freebies for a good review thats where your 4.9 star rating is coming from. And as for false review are you joking the only one who writes anything false here is you. If those treadmills are 18 months old and worth 15k then you must think we are born yesterday. Bringing down a small business? No we are the small people speaking out to the CEO and telling the truth. A big company like yours should start being honest with their customers. We have been members of Snap Fitness Helensvale since May 2022. During that time we have gone through three managers, Sam, Mitch and now Joe. And with all due respect to them, each new manager who comes through the door all says the same thing. " A refurbishment is coming" It's become a standard joke now, we go through more managers who get fed up with being mouth pieces and leave. The new manager Joe even said he has been a member for years and he was promised a refurb when he joined and he understands our frustration. The treadmills are antiquated and in dire need of replacement. There are cracks in the bases, handles broken off, the internal fans don't work. Was told over a year ago new ones were coming and all they did was bring in 2 more of exactly the same style of whats in there now, store them in the corner and leave them. Bringing in second hand old equipment is not new equipment!!! Helensvale snap fitness google reviews is 4.9 and everything is sooo positive. The reason for this is you placed a sign on the desk saying leave a good review and the best one will win a goody bag. To put a prize out for good reviews and not actually address any of the problems. Well we got a response from the CEO. He basically said No Manager has the information, or consent to make the statement of the gym refurbishment, so each of them have done so based on their “opinion” and not fact. Then he said the treadmills are 18 months old, were 15k each new and are in perfect working condition. They are as good and work like any new treadmill. We don’t provide treadmills to watch TV, play games online or any other tech feature outside of the reason it is designed. To walk or run. They do this feature perfectly and I see no reason why anyone would not be happy with them. Well have a look at the pictures attached and I will leave you to make up your own minds. The fan by the treadmill haven't been working for months. All Mitch did was unplug them and then nothing further... Now Joe says he has reached out to you and asked them to be fixed but can't give a date?? It's a fan! not a powerplant. How hard is it? The "CEO" says That owner isn’t the owner of the club and has no ability to manage or influence the investor to spend. It is me (the CEO of the Management Company) who provided the new dumbbells, the new strength equipment and the cardio from another location) to improve the customer experience – not the actual gym owner at all. Managers do not have any control or knowledge about the financial position of the gym, franchise requirements with compliance nor decision making capabilities so neither of them have done this on the back of any guarantees from the owner on dates. and lastly Small business is hard, costs are rising drastically and that hasn’t helped but we are doing our best, providing great customer service and a product that is safe and works as designed. So in a nutshell, anything that was promised was just a sales pitch to get your membership. No new treadmills are coming for any of you that was told they were. The fans will be fixed as and when the CEO finds some money. and as for a refurb there may be some new flooring to come within the next god knows when.

Fantastic experience: I go to Helensvale Snap when I want to avoid the crowd at my local one or shop at the Westfield. It would have been my favourite gym to go to if they have a proper hip thrust area, more complete equipments (they don't have lying leg curls and hip abduct/adductors), & easy parking outside the gym (early morning isn't an issue, but in afternoon, it could take me 10mins+ to find parking). Staff and most members are friendly. Very nice vibe, not too crowded - I remember there were only 2 occassions in the last 3 years (both were in the afternoon) where I had to wait for a machine or the gym was packed. Cleanliness is satisfactory. Wipe stations are appropriately located and always full. The only time the bathrooms ever bothered me was when I was pregnant - whatever products they use to clean didn't go well with my sense of smell (hormones ‍♀️).

Negative experience: Pac Pines was closed today for reno so came down here, should have went to Parkwood as they are always clean and equipment is up to date. Ancient Treadmills, dbells need replacing, water is warm and from what I heard from members here today it's been like this for awhile.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely would recommend, Sam is the manager is an absolute top person, gym isn’t to big nor too small and I always receive good vibes and advice from the team there!

Fantastic experience: Love the team at Snap Fitness Helensvale! Started coming after COVID. Gym is always clean, equipment is great and I’ve got everything I need do all of my workouts. Sam the manager plus Veronika the PT is encouraging, helpful and keeps me motivated. Friendly, not at all intimidating or pretentious - the complete opposite experience to what I often find from other chain gyms. Also a great place when I just want to quickly churn through my workout, zone in, get it done and run off to work straight after. Great place, convenient location, great staff!

Fantastic experience: Signed up to Snap Fitness last week and am so far loving over the previous gym established I was going to. Worth the membership! Gym is clean and the facilities are good and well maintained. Club manager Sam is also a top notch bloke. Made the sign up simple as and he's a wealth of fitness knowledge. Will recommend!

Positive experience: Pretty decent gym, large variety of equipment for it's small-ish size very clean too. It has showers, toilets & a water fountain there's also a small outside area only accessable during staffed hours. Can get pretty busy so I'd recommend coming at a less popular hour if you want to make sure you can access what you want without having to wait for someone else to get off.

Negative experience: Have been at this place for a few years know I loved it here especially with sam running stuff he is always there for me and feels like another parent with all the stuff he is teaching me. I loved it and I will miss it and all the memories I have here. Only complaint is that the equipment is starting to get old and starting to break otherwise No complaints.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to check in and comment on how much I love coming to the gym almost everyday! Manager Sam and Veronika absolutely kill it at making the gym feel like a warm welcome, and keeping the family vibe within the gym. Always welcome and always greeted with a smile on their face. Equipment is awesome and there is always something readily available for you to use. Always pushing you and motivating you to keep going. Even the other members are very welcoming, no judgment comes from this gym at all! Love it!

Fantastic experience: Have been a Snap member since 2015 and this is my main go to site. It is always clean and well maintained, and I’ve never seen it crowded. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and among the PTs there is a good range of specialisation. There is a good variety of equipment and it tends be newer than some of the other Snaps I go to. There is ample room to stretch etc and the classes are pretty good too.

Fantastic experience: I love snap fitness Helensvale! After jumping into training from having a break due to injury I started PT sessions with Veronika - wow she is amazing! She focuses more on technique then other PTs I’ve had before, and I love that! She makes sure I’m doing it right to avoid injury- if you want results Veronika is your girl. I am getting amazing results and getting stronger each session. She pushes me each week which I need and all the equipment is top notch to help achieve your gains!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for many years and the Gym has a new Manager Sam and a fantastic trainer Veronika. They keep the gym immaculately clean, are always extremely friendly and professional. I currently train with Veronika who has been one of my best trainers ever. Both Sam and Veronika are always willing to assist and I cannot recommend this gym or its staff highly enough, especially if you re new to fitness, you must give this a try!

Fantastic experience: Why 5 stars? Is it the staff, the machines, atmosphere, people? Tbh yes to all of those but without snap my life would've stagnated. I'd be out of a job, social life everything I have now, even when I became homeless I had a place to call a home and gym and pick myself up again, I can thank my friend and the main PT for snap helensvale Veronika. if I never asked for advice my routine would've gotten me no where but now I'm beyond stronger than what I was or could even think of so thank you Snap helensvale for making me better than what I ever believed.
