Negative experience: Walked in and wanted to train but the place just smells really bad! Walked out, I can’t train in a place that smells like a bad curry meal left out in the sun.
Hi Jesse, Sorry to receive your one star review about your visit right at the time that one other member was using the gym. The gym provides deodorant for people to use. Sometimes people have strong body odour if they are exercising or not.
Negative experience: Worst customer service. Old lady doesn’t even listen anyone. I have been plus fitness from last 6 years never had such bad experience anywhere. Must have respect for the members and should listen concerns. Worst worst worst. Never seen worst than this.
Hi Vikas, As discussed in the gym today, every member needs to use their access pass every time to enter the gym for security and safety reasons. This is outlined in the Plus Fitness Membership Agreement. Please ensure that you and your fellow members use their access pass each and every time that you visit any of the Plus Fitness gyms.
Fantastic experience: This is the best plus fitness gym out of all the other ones I have been to. The gym is kept so clean and equipment looked after, and the staff are absolutely amazing. I just signed up recently by Alysha who made the whole experience easy and was very very lovely. They make you feel welcomed from the start to the end of your workout. A very happy member!

Negative experience: I just entered the gym first time here at 4:45 pm today 22/10/24 , this lady at the gym was so rude at reception she was screaming and abusing me and my husband for scanning two cards same time as we entered together. I would never come to this gym , this lady turned us both off. She has no courtesy at all , screaming at new people, she would make big loss for the gym as no one would like to get treated like that she did to us , she pulled eyes at us. Please provide more training to this receptionist as she is so rude . Thank you
Hi Aarti, In your review, this is not the situation as it happened just now as the staff member was on the phone to me at the time you and your husband entered the gym. The staff member was not screaming at you or abusing you. She asked if you had both swiped your access keys and the answer was yes. In your case, your husband swiped both of the access cards together and the security alarm activated as you followed him in. Other clubs sometimes do not take the time to ensure members know the process. All staff at the Wentworthville gym follow the procedures to ensure that each person that enters the gym is using their access keys correctly - this is to ensure that members are aware of how to use their access keys and do not receive the $250 breach fine. Please remember to both swipe your individual access keys on any of the Plus Fitness gym doors in the future.
Fantastic experience: I frequently visit this gym on my fitness passport as the location is conveniently located. The staff and owner are very friendly. The equipment is well maintained and fixed fairly quickly if needing service. Although the gym is smaller there is a range of equipment to cover all exercise needs.

Fitness Programs are included in the membership where you are able to book with the Personal Trainer to talk about your goals and they can show you the exercises to achieve those. Each member's access is for use at any of the Plus Fitness locations. If you have any further questions, please visit the counter during the staffed hours.
Negative experience: Too small, no power racks. Edit: I went there the day I reviewed it, so the owner is incorrect in saying I'm not a Plus Fitness member. This owner is clearly very defensive.
Hi Dylan, I cannot see you on the Plus Fitness member database, you may have the wrong gym chain for your review. Edit: The staff at the club are very protective of the gym. We are defensive when people randomly "low" review our business. We have checked our database again and have no note that you visited. Maybe you are hiding behind a different name. We would hope that others disregard this review and have a look around the gym themselves and make their own minds up.

Hi Lolith, Unsure what you mean here with this post. Unable to see that you have called or visited the club to look around. We don't push people to buy a membership as it is up to the individual, if you would like a membership you can purchase one. The decision is up to you.

Negative experience: Been really disappointed with the service.. Being such a big name... they do not have a facility to cancel the membership online on phone or any of their stores and then you can't cancel it at the same place where you bought it but your membership will be transferred directly without even letting you know to another place.... And then we visited the Wentworthville store and first the staff member was so rude and saying I own this place... like really plus fitness is worldwide and even with customers you have to be humble and respectful and if you can't do the same its not right I wish I could give less than a star They are there just to rip off Won't recommend it to anyone... I have been trying to get in touch with them to cancel my membership but no response as they have their so called policy of cancellation
Hello Mansi, You did visit the Plus Fitness Wentworthville club to cancel earlier today and I did let you know that you and your partner had been transferred to the Plus Fitness at Kings Park, and that you would need to visit that club to complete your cancellation. There is nothing that we can do on our system except to see your name and the home club that you are a member of. We are unable to even open your file. I am also disappointed that you were not able to carry out your part of your agreed terms by visiting your home club to sign the relevant Cancellation form. Your raised voices and blaming at the counter was not humble and respectful at the time when I was letting you know the best way to cancel your memberships. The Plus Fitness memberships allow you to use all clubs, usually the one that is most convenient for you. You were using the Plus Fitness Kings Park branch more than 60% of the time for Head Office to transfer your memberships there, they became your home club at that time. When joining the club, we let you know that you need to visit the club in person to complete any administration paperwork including cancellation. We have not received any calls, voicemails or missed calls from you or your partner at Plus Fitness Wentworthville. If you were calling the Plus Fitness Kings Park then those calls would not have been received by us. The Plus Fitness Membership Agreement outlines the Cancellation process to be carried out at your home gym in person so please visit the Plus Fitness Kings Park gym to complete the relevant forms.
Negative experience: Avoid this gym at all cost
Hi Nathan Himsley, When you enter into an Agreement with a company they need to uphold the terms and conditions covered under the clauses, and the same goes for the gym member. Your Agreement contains the older Cancellation clause that allows you to cancel at any time giving two weeks notice (one final payment) by signing the Cancellation form in the gym, which you did do. However your final payment failed so these funds along with the debit company dishonour fees are still due. Please follow the clauses that you agreed to when starting at the gym.
Negative experience: It was great till it lasted! I was a regular member of PF 247 Wentworthville for about an year but had to leave it due to a weird two towel rule that was being thrust upon the gym goers in a very high handed manner. The management wanted us to bring two towels, Why? One to wipe our sweat and the other to put on the equipment while using it! I asked for a valid explanation but it was told to me that it was to keep "others" safe! Not sure why this rule was necessary even though we used to wipe and clean the equipment after every use with the provided spray and paper towel. I looked it up on the NSW Health site but could not find any directive for gyms to mandate two towels. I emailed the head office about this but guess what, they again forwarded that very same email of mine to the Wentworthville gym against whom I was to put this complaint! Eventually I had to get my membership cancelled to join Rileys gym. Its now been 4 months and till now there is no such crazy rule here at Rileys.
Hi Suraj, You had already listed this review months ago and we responded at that time. I am unsure why you have deleted that review and re-listed it here. Plus Fitness has a "no towel-no train" policy for safety and hygiene purposes. As you let us know that you need one for your face to wipe the sweat off we suggested that you bring two towels, one for your personal use and one to use on the equipment. You can use a club that does not have your health and wellbeing as one of their priorities if you choose, it is up to you.
Negative experience: Was hit by a car out front on the way to this gym. Had to cancel membership and was charge 2.5 x the normal amount. Requested personal documents. So difficult to get the over charge money returned.
Hello Brooke, We are sorry for the situation with the car accident about six months ago and hope you are making a full recovery. Due to a mis-understanding it is unfortunate that you feel that you needed to rate us a 1-star for today. The staff and yourself spoke earlier today about your cancellation form that was completed three weeks ago. The final payment failed due to insufficient/uncleared funds in your account. We sent various messages about this missed payment as soon as we were made aware but we did not hear back from you before the next debit day. As the payment had not cleared, you were debited again - the debit company did not overcharge you, they added the dishonour fee outlined in the Membership Agreement. Please bPay the payment to FFA Paysmart or call the club within the staffed hours (Mon-Sat 8am-12noon or Mon-Thur 3.30-7.30pm) to make the payment over the phone. This will finalise your cancellation.
Negative experience: posting from my alt account as I don't want to be identified as I am still a member. The gym is probably a quarter of the size of most gyms you would see and the equipment is really really old. right from the weight machines to the spin bikes. There are many common weight machines that you wont find here. This place has members just because they don't charge any joining fees which is around 100 aud in other gyms.
Replacement of machines is under review, but the size of the gym cannot be altered as you would know. Update - I note that under your other reviews you let people know to take reviews "with a grain of salt", it would be better for you to contact our gym directly instead of hiding behind a fake name.
Positive experience: The gym is alright, sure it needs a bit more space and equipment, I wish they could move facilities, staff are good regardless, I like the fact the staff either nod or make eye contact when I enter, I’m their to train, not have a conversation.

Hello Janna, I was checking your file and you were a member of Plus Fitness Hurstville. The staff may not have been able to help with your query when they cannot access the Hurstville system. Members need to visit their home club when completing any administration processes.
Negative experience: It's a cozy gym that is easy to access. Staff conduct and manners could improve. No greeting when you enter. Staff just look away. Grumpy, constipated attitude. Seriously what's the point of having staff at the front door with the glass screen open? Robots would do better.

Negative experience: Don't join the wenty branch! The lady supervising = control freak and a stalker. I feel sorry for the people that go here and just want to train without condescending managers. It's only this branch that has the problem - most others are pretty good PS - read their comments on all their reviews, obviously they are rude and you'll see what I mean. They don't ask to have discussions- they just get rudely defensive lol

There are lots of different Plus Fitness available for use when you are a member. We like to keep the gym safe and clean for all members and hope that all members appreciate the enormous efforts it takes to look after everyone and their queries. We would ask that you contact the club directly to clarify anything that you do not understand.

Negative experience: It's a bit off putting as first impressions count. I was interested in joining. As soon as I walk in I just get told, " what are you here for?". No courtesy or professionalism. The gym tour and information by the other staff member was helpful.

Positive experience: Clean - 9/10 Crowded - Nah. That's good! It's too small to be called as a Gym but it's not as busy as others so it's fine. Customer Service - 5/10 (To pause the membership as well you have to go to them personally and fill out a form! You living in 21st century?) ... To get a PT, one has to change the branch first by making certain taps and then only you'll get the PT for the desired branch! Sad.
Hi Harsh, you are a member of Another Plus Fitness, to pause your membership you go to your home club, not Wentworthville, correct on the PT, you use the PT at the home branch, also I’m pretty sure we are not to small to be called a gym

Negative experience: Previously attended this gym. Looks like nothings changed. Owners are terrible and shouldn't be running a business. They are rude, stingy and nasty to gym patrons. As evidenced from the replies from them they would rather engage in confrontation rather than take constructive criticism on how to improve. There are plenty of gyms that are managed better in the area including Rileys, anytime fitness and a plus in seven hills. Have a look over there instead if anyone thinking of joining

Negative experience: Horrible place. Imagine staffing a place with 7 personal trainers on a Saturday morning and being kicked out because I had to wait for "office" staff to sign me in. Finally got to check in after 30 min just to use equipment that's older than my dead grandmother. Thanks!
Hello, Just letting you know that we do not have 7 personal trainers. The additional staff that were there on the Saturday that you visited were being trained to start work this week. As you were unable to show the required documents on the day, our processes took longer than usual.
Positive experience: Limited machines and equipment, packed during peak hours, very tight space. Easy parking behind. But if you're driving you might as well go down to Seven Hills.

Positive experience: Staff are pleasant. Equipment is fairly new and well looked after. The size of the gym is on the smaller side. If there are couple of people in the gym it’s ok. But you very quickly feel like your on top of each other. I never had any trouble parking or accessing the gym. Worth going to have a look and see if it suits you.

Negative experience: Very disappointing, I was in gym yesterday and day before with my access. I couldn't find it today, so I came in Staffed hrs to get access to the gym. I haven't lost it to take a replacement access card, so I asked the staff to let me in through so that if I don't find it next day you can treat it as lost and need to replace it. Staff said me to go and spend another 5 min to find it, and we are not letting you in. Every gym in Sydney does it, except plus fitness - very disapointing with the staff and rules. I have asked I can provide my driver licence to check if it is me on your records. I asked can I speak with the manager, he said manager is not in and mentioned come in tomorrow and check. So which means I have to come to store every day to check if the manager is in or not. And staff couldn't provide manager contact no. to speak, mentioned no. What is the reason for Staffed hrs? Just to make jokes while sitting behind the counter? This is more than enough to get out of plus fitness - disappointing..
Hi Ram, it is a condition of entry to tap your access card on the card reader when you enter, this applies to all members. I am sorry you are unhappy with this rule, I cannot answer for the processes other clubs follow.

We have realised that this is also a fake post from either a friend of Rhea or Rhea herself (as no Sarah has visited our gym to get started within the last 12 months). Only 3 reviews on Google by Sarah and one of the others gave Rhea's workplace a 5-star review on the same day.

I went to Go check out the gym for A new gym in the area it was extremely small not worth the price they were quoting and had extremely bad odour. Our original reply was "Hi Jas we understand reviews can be positive or negative, we are very approachable and willing to discuss any issue or question a member or a potential member has. That being said, I hope anyone else reading reviews understands we also have the right to respond to feedback and some can be very nasty. Google reviews are not a one way process where a person can just say anything they like under the cover of anonymity. Sometimes what is said is completely untrue and this must be called out. A great example is the 1 star review from Rhea Dutt saying we took money from her when on hold, completely untrue! In your case, what would have been helpful would be some information on what day and time you visited so we could possibly investigate your complaint of the odour. I can assure you a bad smell in the gym is not normal. If you would like to contact us, and we encourage this, we would be most happy to talk to you about this."
Negative experience: Worst experience I have had with a gym. Even after putting gym on hold due to covid, this gym continued to take money out of my account. They refused to return it when I asked. The owner was rude and aggressive when I asked for the money back. Reading the comments below, you can see how shes attacking everyone who is choosing to leave a negative feedback. This business has no ethics or consideration during the covid periods (they dont allow you to put your membership on hold longer than 12 weeks in a year, EVEN DURING COVID). Also, during covid, their sanitiser sprays for the equipment and wipes were always empty, extremely unhygienic and unsafe during covid. The business would also not accept the cancellation form through email, they expected me to come in the gym (while Wentworthville was a hot spot). Over all, worst experience every. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM- for your safety as well as your money.
Rhea, we have made every effort in helping you with all your requests for changes to your membership as outlined in your Agreement that you signed upon joining the gym during the COVID period in July, it is you that have made the steps difficult by not wanting to follow the terms and conditions. Your membership fees were only charged when you were NOT on timehold - When your membership was on timehold, you were never charged. I can see you are attempting to cause damage to the gym's reputation by not telling the truth in your comments. Our sanitisers have never been empty as we make special visits to the gym outside of our staffed hours to ensure they are never empty for this exact reason. The Wentworthville gym does not even have the gym wipes that you are talking about. This is a warning to all other businesses to have this lady join your gym at your own risk.

Negative experience: I've been a member at many franchise gyms and this has to be the poorest quality and most expensive gym I have been to. For the price you pay, the gym is small, with old equipment, and too busy to use free weights after work. The air conditioner is turned off after hours to save money, and the customer service isn't great. I came straight from work one day and forgot my card, despite knowing I'm a member of the gym, they did not let me in. It is clear that the business focuses on profit and lowering cost, rather than a customer experience. This is why Anytime and Fitness First are rapidly gaining market share.
Taha you are a member of Northmead Plus Fitness not Wentworthville, you have only be a member with them 7 days and we have no door record of you entering the Wentworthville gym.

Positive experience: I used to think it was good but the size is just too small and impossible to go to at night. Morning was the only option if you want to get equipment. Edit: I used to train here in 16/17 for a while and enjoyed it but glad I went elsewhere. Other Plus gyms like Liverpool have much more equipment for the same cost/ week.

Positive experience: Looks nice and cosy, but was lots of non-racked weights even on one bench (2 staff members were present). First place out of many plus fitness gyms that did not have any 1.25kg plates at all. Weights area feels tights, was worried not to hit someone while training.

There will always be members in all gyms who choose to not rack their weights, no matter how easy you make it for them. We request this on a regular basis and we thank you for putting yours away.

Your review is overly harsh, we do our very best to provide the best environment we can to our members. This is why we have a network of gyms available around the country, you should stick to the one you prefer.

Negative experience: The atmosphere is dead. The equipment is old and used compared to the ones I’ve used in various other plus fitness franchises, one of my least favourite plus fitness places I’ve been too. There’s a lot nicer ones if you go anywhere else.

Negative experience: For a commercial gym way to small and insufficient equipments to workout. Only way to get your wokrouw fine is if you come either super late or super early. Not worth the membership fee you pay. Far better gyms 500m from this place.
Hi Anil, have to disagree with your comment “ insufficient equipments to workout”, most types of exercise is catered for, can I suggest you book in with out trainer for a free assessment, they could give you some advise on what to do with what we have available, also there are lots of times there is plenty of room for our members, give us a call and we cargo over this with you, we are here to help you.

Negative experience: Poor customer service i have ever seen jaala the administration manager in Wentworthville gym don't know how to talk with customers very disappointed.
Hi Vinay, I know you were unhappy with some of the answers you received today on your questions, I’m sorry you feel this is poor service, but only stating the facts to you.
Negative experience: The gym is nice but staffs are so unfriendly and rude no coustmer service skill.
Unfortunately on a number of occasions, as you have arrived at the gym outside of staffed hours, we have been unable to help you. As you have lost your access card please visit your home club to purchase a new one so you will be able to access any club 24/7 even when not staffed.
Negative experience: Avoid if you are a family with teenagers on the Fitness Passport program. Very restricted hours for teenagers even on weekends. Staff threatened us with $250 fine for my daughter waiting at reception area and forced us to leave on Sat at 12.00noon.
This exact thing happened with you last week we called you on the phone where we made very clear to you all junior members and their parents who sign the consent form what the hours of use are and the conditions of entrance. This is to protect them by ensuring staff are there during their workout. Junior members (14 to 15 year olds) need to leave by end of staff hours. It is very disappointing for the second time you have chosen to disregard the conditions of entry and then choosing to blame the gym for looking after your daughter like we do for all of our other junior members. We would like to think this won’t happen a third time.
Positive experience: First time visiting the Wentwothville plus fitness, the staff and atmosphere was great. It is unfortunate that the owners had to work with such a small Space for equipment and amenities but I didn’t have to wait to use any equipment on a Thursday evening which was great. I’m sure at such a prime location plus fitness wentworthville will be a bigger gym In the near future.

Fantastic experience: If you get good gym at reliable price then you must buy plus fitness membership. They also.have facilities like timehold membership, no-lock in contract, 24/7 open. All the equipment's are available in gym, staff is very friendly. Must visit once before buy any other gym membership.

Negative experience: I have been to a lot of 24/7 plus fitness gyms around sydney and this has to be the worst one I've ever been to. Place is so small for such a populated area, not only that, ventilation is so bad here, smell is so bad you can taste the nasties in your mouth. There are legit 2 leg workout equipment, forget your leg day if you come here.

Hi there, most of the 24/7 Plus Fitness gyms have a virtual classroom
Negative experience: No floor to ceiling mirrors? There is no way I can tell my core techniques are correct. The only mirrors are waist height - apparently to admire upper body. No mirror whatsoever in the only room where it's safe to lie down.

Negative experience: Spread out of the gym is poor. Lack of equipment, sets of weights missing, weights often end up on the floor, creepy dudes around. No exactly comfortable for females in the weights area.
