Positive experience: The fitness chair is too low, the dumbbells are not placed in the right place, and there is only one rope to exercise the biceps.

Negative experience: Avoid Integrated Fitness Burwood. The only good thing is the lovely receptionists. My experience was a nightmare though due to the incompetent manager, Kane. Regardless of any half-truths or excuses he may reply with, it’s clear that Kane’s priorities are more about squeezing money from members than focusing on providing the best service and customer experience: 1. A very poorly managed situation: I was given a Campsie key, which wasn’t collected when I received my Burwood key, and I forgot about it. Months later, Kane accused me of sharing the key. After discovering it was stolen, he treated me like a liar, demanding $500, then reducing it to $150. My card was charged for 2+ months while my key was suspended. Kane repeatedly promised to investigate and get back to me in 48 hours, but I often had to chase him for weeks. When I eventually agreed to pay the fine, he still took a month to reply (card was still being charged). Only after I threatened to go to ACCC/NCAT for that did Kane finally drop the fine. For all the stress, I got a single month’s credit, despite being unable to use the gym for over 2 months. 2. If there aren’t enough funds in your account when they try to charge you, they charge you a $15 fee — even if it’s your first time which most gyms would waive first time. 3. There’s an additional quarterly amenities upkeep fee $15 which wasn’t told to me and is only stated in the contract on page 11 out of 17… since when have you heard of a gym charging that? 4. They also double-charged my friend for two weeks in a row on a fortnightly membership. Luckily, he noticed and got a refund, but how many others haven’t? 5. I’m aware that some employees had to leave because their compensation didn’t align with industry standards, and their pay rate didn’t reflect their true value as the manager clearly failed to properly recognise or appreciate their contributions. 6. The gym takes forever to take on any feedback: the gym is filthy — leaking ceilings for months, disgusting bathrooms, and zero maintenance after hours. For all the reasons above, Kane clearly cares more about squeezing every penny out of members than providing genuine customer service. My friends and I have all left for good, and I strongly advise everyone to stay far away.

Positive experience: I like that this gym is 24/7 and easy to access. There's always room to workout. However, no one brings a towel and no one sanitises the equipment after they use it. And there's only a few sanitiser bottles for the whole room which is annoying because you have to walk halfway through the room to grab one. I know it's hard to enforce towels + sanitiser 24/7 but even during the staffed hours I don't see this enforced. Also there is no ventilation, all it smells like is deodorant.

Negative experience: I have given feedback multiple times regarding lack of community vibe within the gym and gave suggestions to fix this yet the team / management don’t seem to care. Monthly gym challenges for men / women to win prize / free membership Gym community activity such as organising a team to do a marathon or obstacle course such as tough mudder will create a community vibe Also no deodorant in the gym If you don’t wish to take advice from the members I’m afraid to say this gym won’t go very far - even the other local gyms do the above.

Negative experience: Not a single staff member seen tidying up weights. It’s like this every morning between 5-9am. If staff cared and kept it tidy, it would make a huge difference. Also, there’s no airflow in the gym, especially as they have locked the balcony doors. Aircon is likely on a timer which is cool, but perhaps provide fans and/or allow the doors to be propped open?

I want to acknowledge your concern about the gym being untidy during the early morning hours. Our gym is staffed from 10:00am onwards, which unfortunately makes it difficult to enforce members putting their weights back during the earlier hours. The staff you see may be the Personal Trainers with their clients in the morning. However, I personally come in every morning to clean and tidy up the gym, ensuring that it is in the best possible condition for our members. When we notice that the gym is particularly messy, we review the security footage and contact the members involved to remind them of the importance of packing away their weights and keeping the space tidy for everyone’s benefit. Again, we listen to all members feedback but always appreciate coming to us directly. We see that you train most mornings and you have given 2 stars for your overall experience. The gym is not too big but not too small as well. Green area, yoga room and all the new gym machines are the plus poitn of this fitness center.

Positive experience: If your intention is to go to gym classes I would skip their new policy is not great. You can cancel classes within 2 hours which isn't realistic it just means people book in and out all the time, and you have to constantly check the app for availability. It's almost like buying concert tickets... It would make sense to have a 6 hour timeframe. Not to mention you get charged $10 if you don't turn up to class. I was automatically added to a class overnight whilst I was sleeping. I had no idea I was added to a class until I woke up and couldn't make it on time so I got charged $10 The gym equipment is good and the fitness instructors I have interacted with have all been excellent! Overall decent customer service but 3 stars regarding the above.

However, if you miss a payment for whatever reason, in my case a new bank card, you're charged $14.95 extra. There is no warning email or notification, you just locked out of using the gym until you pay it.

Negative experience: Cool space but very poorly managed. Doesn't matter what time of day you come the weights room is chaos. Often 14 out of 14 plate loaded machines all left loaded (see pictures), benches and weights left all over the place, blocked sled track so you have to tidy up other people's mess to use it. I have never once seen the dumbbell rack in the correct order in the time I have trained here. Dodgy lock on the men's toilet meaning it can't be used half the time. There's ONLY ONE MENS TOILET. There's more I could say...
Positive experience: Really good gym, great equipment and staff. Perfect gym functionality-wise. Only problem is that if you miss a payment for whatever reason (i.e. card change, bank holiday, or forgot to move money from your saving account) you are charged $14.95 extra for missing the payment on the same day. You aren’t given a warning email, only a notice that you have now been charged extra. I used to use plus fitness and when you missed a payment you were given a warning email with a period (24hrs or so) to pay until you are charged which I think makes a lot more sense and is better for students.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for this gym because they provide a wide range of classes. I went to their Pilates, Zumba, and Cardio classes. AND LET ME TELL YOU, they really make you work out. I’m ded by the end of every class, no miss. The instructors are really nice and professional, they also adjust based on your durability (I tapped out mid-way cause I cannot-). Good gym, good classes, 10/10 would recommend.

He's not only knowledgeable about exercise physiology, but he's also a genuinely helpful and wants to see you succeed. His guidance has been instrumental in helping me achieve my fitness goals. I love how supportive and friendly the staff are and as a gym newbie, I feel welcomed and not intimidated by more seasoned members. If you’re after a PT, go with Henry. He’s very knowledgable as he’s doing master in fitness science and will fit your routine to what you need. I always enjoy my session with him.

His guidance was super clear for a beginner like me, and he showed me how to use the gym equipment correctly. He really tries hard to keep me from getting hurt. The gym is a well-maintained space that always smells fresh. It’s equipped with all the essentials you’d expect, from cardio machines to weights. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone looking to exercise in a comfortable and welcoming setting

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great facilities, and if you are interested in a PT, (or nervous about navigating fitness like I was,) ask for Henry; he's knowledgeable, teaches you everything you need to know along the way, and has a genuine investment in helping you improve and meet your goals. I started the gym this year for the first time and was nervous about navigating the equipment safely as a complete beginner. After training with Henry for a few months I have gained a lot of confidence and strength in my workouts and have made so much progress in my fitness.

Fantastic experience: Would love to give a big shout out to my PT Henry, whom I have been training with now for about 6weeks. He is a dedicated and motivational trainer who pushes you to thrive even when you doubt yourself. He not only is well educated but also is a great conversationalist in between training and amazing at supporting all his clients. If you are looking to feel confident going to the gym whether with someone or alone, I recommend having Henry as your PT because he has made me feel great and independent at training!

Fantastic experience: Hands down, one of the best gyms in Burwood. Cannot recommend it enough. On top having some of the best equipments, sauna and steam room, the staff is always so lovely and friendly. The gym is always clean and the community inside is supportive and friendly. Not a mean soul in the gym. Appreciate Atlas and Louisa at the reception always doing their best to remember all their members names and making them feel welcome when they walk in. Ricky is an amazing PT who provides the best fitness plan to achieve the fitness goals you are wanting. He is always checking in on his clients progress and provides very thorough explanation for each exercise to ensure you are doing them safely and correctly. His physio background has also been very beneficial during the sessions as I have learnt that sometimes you are stronger on one side than the other (lol who knew!!!). Highly recommend training with him if you are looking for a PT at IF. Please note, I am being paid a lot by him to say these positive reviews... IM KIDDING. Ivan's infectious energy and warm greetings never fail to brighten my day, no matter what time I arrive. As for Ricky (personal trainer), his passion and expertise in fitness are unparalleled. I am truly excited for those who embark on their fitness journey under Ricky’s guidance, as he goes above and beyond to help you surpass your fitness goals.
Fantastic experience: my PT ricky is one of the best coaches u can ask for, he listens to your situation and responds back with a great solution. He focuses alot on his clients and regularly checks up with them as well with keeping them on track with their goals. Would recommend if you’re looking for ur next coach ;)
Negative experience: The ignorance of management to say that the leakages are “not a common occurrence” shows either: - They actually do not know about an ongoing issue that has been happening SINCE GYM OPENING LAST YEAR (how?). or - They don’t care about their members enough to fix it. This poses serious risks including mold growth and structural damage. I cannot imagine the amount of mold that would have grown over the year. Not to exclude the very obvious safety hazard for members carrying heavy weights around the gym. Just a public service announcement, do your research and look into other gyms before joining this one

Fantastic experience: Great modern gym with friendly staff. Booked a few sessions with Henry, one of the PTs and it was a great way to settle back into gym. Henry was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - would recommend him to anyone looking to start their gym journey!

Negative experience: Was doing cable rows here and had water drip on my head so i put a cup on the floor and filled it in an hour. This gym has leaks everywhere and its gone unfixed since the gym opened in around november 2023. This is a serious safety hazard.
Fantastic experience: Best facilities and I love the range of equipment…having Reformer Pilates a steam room, AND a 24/7 gym all under the same roof is the best and so convenient. The staff and management are great and all so easy to deal with. Nothing is ever a problem, they really go above and beyond. I also go to their Campsie location which is also great…best vibes! I’m so glad I found this gem
Fantastic experience: I have been attending Integrated Fitness Burwood for a month now, and I’m thoroughly enjoying both the facilities and classes they offer. They provide a variety of group classes at convenient times, and I particularly enjoy Zumba, Boxing, Yoga, and Mat Pilates. My personal training sessions with Henry have also been great. He has been guiding me and keeping me motivated to achieve my fitness goals. Overall, it’s a fantastic gym for Burwood locals
Fantastic experience: Great facility , top notch equipment and the people that train here are all friendly. The manager of the club is very attentive and if you have an issue and talk to him he sorts it out and the reception staff are super nice.
Negative experience: Horrible sneaky management, awful to deal with when you raise the issue with their hidden fees, which are written in the fine print but not mentioned by any of the staff when signing up. When complaining on behalf of my sister and trying to get an explanation, it took the gym weeks to get back to me with a solid explanation and the staff were rude to deal with. Avoid !!!

The quality of the space and equipment is nothing you can find at these franchise cheap gyms. The membership prices are EXTREMELY reasonable for the service and quality that are offered. I love the staff and vibe of the place and it’s such a hidden gem in Burwood! Member for life
Fantastic experience: Integrated fitness is a great gym. The staff is very responsive, there’re a variety of classes with previous bookings so it’s not too crowded. Everything is always very clean and overall this gym is definitely worth it! I’m feeling motivated to continue working out in such a great place. Special thanks to Louisa, who is always so helpful! Not to mention there’re infrared and steam room, which I love it for a good recovery after training.
Fantastic experience: Near-perfect gym, just sad I moved away. The equipment is new and always clean, and same goes for the bathrooms, sauna and steam room. I loved that I could book Pilates, yoga, boxing and all kinds of classes. I got very rapid replies to texts and calls during staff hours, and it was pretty easy for me to cancel my membership over email. The only downside is limited parking during peak times. Hopefully the construction next door will finish soon and there’ll be more parking. Still, the Westfield parking is a short walk away.

Negative experience: Warning! They charge $75 dollars as an application fee and they don’t tell you about it until the end. They also charge another $15 for “MAINTENANCE” which is ridiculous, your regular membership fee SHOULD be covering for the equipment maintenance. Please beware as none of this is posted on their website.

The Joining Fee (which you are referring to as an application fee) and $14.95 quarterly amenities fee are indeed clearly outlined on the very first page of our membership agreement. It's worth noting that some memberships don't have any joining fees. We also frequently offer promotions to waive this fee. It seems as though you chose a membership type that included a joining fee. Negative experience: Been having problems with my payments being overcharged for the past few months that the employees are unable to resolve without support from their manager. Upon trying to meet this so called manager he is no where to be seen. I have only ever heard word of mouth that he is busy. Is the manager running a dropshipping business (integrated fitness)?

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and friendly staff members. The equipment and the environment are very nicely maintained. For anyone who would like to start a personal training program, I highly recommend Daniel as your instructor. He's really professional and supprtive. I've had a great experience training with him.
Negative experience: I don't think anyone that goes to this gym has actually met the manager, but please avoid getting a locked-in contract before actually talking to someone you plan on giving money to for an extended period of time. After this gym opened it seems like management has ran off, and the gym is being poorly maintained. I have heard rumors of PTs and staff planning to leave/have already left due to disagreements with the manager here. All in all, WHERE IS THE MANAGER?
