Negative experience: CLOSURE OF CRECHE- Baileys Gym WAS awesome. This is a unique stand alone feature of this gym so parents, couples, single parents can attend. These people are majority of your members. Myself and daughters( single parent with 5yr old) memberships were cancelled due to creche closure. Creche is always FULLY booked, waitlists pending. Does everyone pay? Does the honour system work? Will people pay additional for Performer Pilates - I think Not.

Negative experience: I loved this non pretentious, chilled gym. Agree with other comments about cleanliness. I stopped using showers there because they are so grubby! However, They are now closing the creche in spite of being the only gym in Baldivis to offer childcare! They are using the space to open yet another reformer pilates studio (there are currently 4 here) This cuts off many parents who loved this gym for this reason just to jump on a trend Hugely disappointed

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym and awesome staff! Leslie assisted me with my gym sign-up and have never experienced such great customer service. Gym is clean and has sufficient equipment. Not many people during usual gym peak hours which is such a plus. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: As a former member of Genesis Bailey Fitness, I was disappointed by the consistently dirty and sticky shower room. Additionally, I was shocked to discover that they charged me for the following month without my permission. Despite being a paying member, the lack of cleanliness and unauthorized charges made my experience unacceptable. I cannot recommend this gym due to their inadequate hygiene standards and questionable billing practices. Management should prioritize cleanliness and transparency for the well-being and trust of their members.

Fantastic experience: So 5 stars is only for PURSUIT MUAY THAI Amazing team and coaches Been training with them for a year and love it highly recommended them ONLY The gym is the worst I've ever seen Broken equipment I'd say half or most of the bikes don't work Treadmill are the same broken Always has teenagers there sitting around not even working out starting fights and braking things in the rest rooms the staff are nice but need someone with more authority for the young kids.

Negative experience: Worst gym ever don’t waste your time, it’s so dirty and equipment always broken, and when you want to cancel it’s a nightmare

Negative experience: Standard cheap gym. Poor equipment maintenance, poor equipment management despite seeming to be more than enough staff. Standard school hour staffed times, very mild customer support/interaction unless you are in the know. Often avoiding interaction when needing to report damaged equipment.

Positive experience: First session Muay Thai. Haven't Sweated that much in a while.

Negative experience: Can’t cancel a membership due to being locked in. I requested a freeze on my account two weeks ago due to work hours being extended. and now another payment has been taken.

Negative experience: Very unhelpful I cancelled my membership back in December 2023 and told no more payments would come out. They are still taking money out and it’s out of contract.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. Worst gym I have ever been too facilities were old and half the equipment did not work. The gym has a bad odour and also when we cancelled our membership they charged us another month, when we were told at sign up there is no cancellation fees.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym, very respectful nice staff, really helpful, it’s like the cheapest price Gym around If you’re a nasty troll you might need to, spend more time working out ️‍♀️ than constantly complaining about other people who don’t care or have any time for unnecessary idiots. I personally like this Gym and their equipment is works fine for me.

Negative experience: Liars and dodgy.

Negative experience: Many things are terrible at the gym, but at the top of the list would be the mens toilet where the stall dividers are made from flimsy wood and constantly break and so far have been missing from the toilet stalls for over 2 weeks so no privacy when using the toilet. The disabled toilet is alway out of toilet paper.

Negative experience: This is gym is absolutely disgusting, toilet doors don’t even lock, kids are absolutely obnoxious and have no respect for the other gym goers, membership prices are way to overpriced, staff are extremely rude and the kids just sit in the change rooms and vape and trash the gym.

Negative experience: this gym is extremely overpriced for what is available. broken equipment and everywhere is messy. i am always tripping over myself in the mess. filled with arrogant teenagers with no respect. bathroom is out of toilet paper and holes in wall. we where promised a boxing room which is permanently locked now. staff is very rude. very dissatisfied with my experience at baileys don’t recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Don’t sign up with this gym. You get locked into a contract that you can’t cancel, and it’s basically impossible to use any equipment because the gym is full of kids standing around each machine / weight bench chatting to each other while one of them uses it - even though a parent is supposed to be with them if they are under a certain age. If you do get to use a piece of equipment it is either broken or extremely worn out. The staff are rude, and hide in the office all day, because of this the gym is dirty and weights / equipment is left lying around. In addition every hour, on the hour between 4pm and 7pm loads of school children run around the gym after their classes upstairs while their mums and dads stand around chatting and not supervising them. The car park is terrible also, the spaces near the gym are so sunken they’re almost impossible to park in, and the spare bit of gravel is not big enough to hold the cars of the gym goers and the people bringing children to martial arts classes. I have raised my concerns and tried to cancel my membership multiple times, to no avail. I tried to cancel the classes portion at least, but was told this can’t be cancelled either - even though it is an add on. After I persisted I was then told someone would look into it. After contacting them again multiple times I am still being ignored. By far the worst gym I’ve been to, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS GYM.

Negative experience: I signed with the gym. After a week of signing, i received a job offer in another town which i accepted and so i had to relocate. I went to gym to cancel my membership. All this happening in december(the only month the gym accepts cancellations). They accepted and said they would process my cancellation. Four weeks later, they send me an invoice with an outstanding fee of four weeks and my cancellation fee which i found unfair because they said they would cancel my membership but because it took them time to process, they charged me for those weeks. I didnt even step in the gym during these weeks. When i called to settle this issue, one of the ladies who works there was quite rude. Yeah, dont sign up with Genesis.

Positive experience: Personal Trainers: dont be shy to smile and greet your gym members as they enter and when you walk around.

Negative experience: On the website it says no lock in contracts, now I’m stuck with a contract for 12 months & im over paying even though I specifically asked if it was flexible due to my job needing me to be away for months at a time

Negative experience: My son joined Muay Thai at Bailey Baldivis since Sep 2021, and recently he had a knee injury and his left knee joint partially moved outwards. We had an MRI and the doctor advised not to do any physical activities until we will see a specialist. so I went to Baileys, Baldivis in person with the medical certificate and submitted my request and the lady at the reception (Holly) filled me out the cancellation form online. However, at the time of cancellation I wanted to give her the medical certificate but she said no she don't need to see it. Then they send me a text message that I need to pay another two fortnightly payments before stopping the payment. Completely unfair with the underlying medical reason they still choose to take payments for another two fortnight. Disappointing.

Positive experience: The classes at this gym are very good and have enthusiastic trainers. I find that the gym equipment is often broken and takes weeks to fix. The weights machines are often packed out with men and it feels a bit uncomfortable for a rooky female to work out in this area so i often stick to the cardio machines. Parking is always overflowed, however, I don't mind the walk from Bunnings car park. In my time here I have had two different trainers, the first was good but I had to cancel as I couldn't afford the fees. My second trainer Danielle would disregard information about previous injuries or health conditions that would impact what workouts were and were not suitable, she would try and get you into her pyramid scheme of useless supplements and 'weightloss' drinks and would spend the sessions standing there on her phone scrolling through facebook while you were told to walk on the treadmill. I gave up on PT's at the gym as the good ones were too expensive and the lower priced one was not good enough. I love going to the Body Balance classes at the gym and find the Monday-Tuesday trainer to be amazing and supportive, showing you the step by step process of the movements, also showing various options for different levels of experience. My gym fee is $10.95 per week which is great.

Negative experience: They make it impossible to cancel a membership. I emailed asking to pay the full amount of the cancellation fees and they didn’t let me. I tried calling to pay and they didn’t answer. The owner called me and swore at me and accused me of not being able to afford to pay cancellation, which was untrue. They have responded to this review saying that they offered to provide me with a payment plant which is also untrue… I didn’t need a payment plan because I just wanted to pay the cancellation fees upfront and be done with it. They dragged the cancellation period out for 6 weeks and have tried to claim that I hadn’t paid “for months”…

Positive experience: Ok gym, probably better for group fitness. Gym equipment breaks and takes weeks to be repaired, personnel trainers tend to take up the equipment without regard of others and never wipe equipment down after use.

Negative experience: Sent an email enquiry asking one simple question that they could of replied via email. But no I had to be harassed all day with phone calls non stop!!

Fantastic experience: Moved to Perth recently and figured I’d shake the nerves off and get back into Muay Thai. Everyone was super friendly and the classes are well structured with a very good approach to fitness as well as technique. Mod is a great coach and one of the friendliest!

Fantastic experience: My kids does Muay Thai for over 4 years now and they love it. Great gym! Kru Mod is the best! He focuses on proper Muay Thai technique, very discipline and very attentive to your technique all the time. It is very beginner friendly, and teaches correct technique right from the start, but also has a large number of fighters and those who are more serious with their training. My kids get a lot of support from their trainer Mod he truly invest in their training and development. I highly recommend Muay Thai at Bailey's Fitness.

Fantastic experience: Been training out of Bailey Fitness for the past 3 years and have to say that the facility is top quality. Bailey Fitness provides a multitude of difference modes of fitness, whether that be stand-alone fitness, group fitness, Muay Thai (for fitness or as a hobby) or stepping out into the ring. The staff at the facilities are fantastic and are always available for assistance if required. The Muay Thai classes are run by highly knowledgeable and talented (and sexy) coaches that are highly flexible in achieving your goals and needs. Highly recommend the this gym if you live in the area!!

Fantastic experience: I've been training Muay Thai for over 8 years travelled around the world to train Muay Thai the best trainers and gym I've trained at highly recommend this gym not only for Muay Thai by but as a fitness gym for weights cardio etc.

Negative experience: During COVID in particular I thought staff might be more vigilant with over half the patrons not using towels ever and not wiping equipment down after use. It’s a regular occurrence and not only is it unhygienic it’s unsafe and it’s disgusting

Negative experience: I joined the gym hoping to have my self esteem strengthened and gaining a my health back after putting on over 40kilos while suffering with Post natal depression. I was so determined I took up pt sessions and advised Danielle would be the best person to help me on my journey and after having several sessions with her and explaining I’d had bariatric surgery she posted a meme in her Facebook pt group that basically said people who chose to have surgery were cheating and should put in the hard work, which totally destroyed my confidence and left me ashamed and I have never stepped foot back in the gym since. I wrote an email to customer support at the time and did not get a response and when I followed up I was contacted by phone and was not even given a apology just advised my contract could not be cancelled and I would need to pay the remainder of the contract of the out which was a less than satisfactory response, but in my state of mind at the time I accepted this and was advised my contract would be ceased at end of the contract term. My contract was not ceased and when I questioned this and asked for it to cease and reimbursed for payments taken out after end date I was advised I didn’t do this in writing which I was never advised on previous conversations. As it has now been almost a week and no response to my last correspondence I see no option that to take my complaint to the department of consumer affairs. So disappointing after joking because I’d heard such good reviews.

Fantastic experience: Really great gym. My membership was at Baldivis. The only reason I'm no longer a member is that I've relocated and there isn't a Baileys near me. PT's are great and the Muay Thai classes are also great, my wife does Muay Thai at Bailey's regularly and absolutely loves it. If your in the Baldivis area or surrounds it is by far the best one around and worth joining, especially if your new to the gym it's worth giving it a go with a trial!

Fantastic experience: I loved my time at Bailey Fitness Baldivis. Unfortunately we moved and the commute was a bit far. It's amazing value for money. Great fitness classes and Muay Thai was awesome. The girls in the creche were amazing too. My boys absolutely loved going there and will miss them. Great friendly environment that caters to families and super helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to any one who wants to start putting their health first.

Only giving 4 ⭐ as some of the equipment is out of order and others are in a poor condition. But they are renovating so this, hopefully will change.

Negative experience: WARNING!!!! Do not sign up with this Gym, they are absolutely ruthless, I was out of contract, and they charged me for another year in advance then took me too debt collectors without making any effort to contact me. I really cant get my head around a business that promotes health and lifestyle, yet be so savage and deceptive in their paperwork. Do yourself a favor and go somwhere else. Their business model is discusting.

Negative experience: lost the pass at the Gym. they wanted to change it for 30 AUD! I am paying about 36 AUD fortenight= more than 900 a year for 2 years and a bit now and yet they wanted the 30 I simply cancelled my membership very bad customer service

Negative experience: I went for a trial and all they wanted was my money! You didnt listen to what i wanted out of a gym and all you wanted to do was sign me up for a year evan when i said no. Dion is the most pushy person i have ever met and wouldn't come back evan if you paid me.. no one wants a year contract anymore. You will loose clients if you keep pushing. I was coming for the boxing heard great things. But because of this i would rather go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Where do i begin ! probably the worst gym iv'e ever been too. first of all the carpark space out front is very small ( 15 bays approx) and if you park down the side or out on the dirt you will be fined by the ranger $100. the gym is so busy and small they run classes throughout the gym due to limited space in the rooms which is annoying when you want to do weights. All the classes get that busy even the kickboxing upstairs you cant move to train properly. Equipment breaks regularly and seems to be serviced poorly and takes a very long time to fix. Once you become a member there is no FIFO payment, you are locked in for a year with no exceptions even if you are off work or cant afford it or stopped using the gym .Also if you lose your swipe key or it breaks they will charge another $30 with no exceptions. customer service is not good unless you have a free trail, then they will hound you daily afterwards to join, sometimes even more than once a day (extremely annoying). PTs seem very inexperienced and not helpful. Overall a very money hungry small gym.

Negative experience: If you're ok with being kicked off machines from rude PT's "while you're resting" - under 30 seconds of not using it - and waiting until they're done with it to get back on that same machine again then you're in the right place, 5 stars for that. Aside from that, the staff seem to not care that much about this issue. This has happened to me a couple of times now, hence the low rating. The first few times I didn't care, I'd just move to another machine but it's a common occurrence here. I would rather go to a quieter gym and be guaranteed a workout than this place.

Negative experience: I would be sceptical of the 5 star reviews, half of them give every bailey fitness in WA 5 stars? I found the staff very immature and unprofessional. There was never any equipment and zero customer service (aside from when they want more money from you). Would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym and all the varieties they provide, especially the Pilates and Muay Thai fight zone. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add some diversity into their training routine in a great community!

Negative experience: In the end I reported them to the Department of Commerce and was told they refused to cooperate. They seem very unethical. DO NOT USE.

Positive experience: A great place to train and work out. I joined this gym due to the group classes that were available and loved them! Always a full room with a variety of workouts to suit each person!

Negative experience: So dodgy! I signed up for a 7-day trial they advertised online and they called me and asked me to go into the gym. Once I was there they told me they don't do the offer and tried to make me sign a 12 month contract. They literally only want your money.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Baileys now for 5 months now, I love the environment here all the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. The group fitness classes are excellent and the the Muay Thai classes are the best I spend most of my time there. The creche lady's are great the kids really like them. Bailey's could improve by having some art n craft in the creche for the older children. Extending creche to two hour max time slots if people want them. The gym also needs paper towels in the bathrooms

Negative experience: DO NOT USE. My wife signed up with Baileys Fitness in Baldivis and they were not upfront about signing up costs and when signing a no lock in contract they still charged after cancellation and refused to refund. Would not recommend seem to be more focused on money than customer satisfaction

Negative experience: Parents beware..Please check what your kids are signing up for. Once you’ve signed a contract you can’t get out of it unless you have a medical condition or relocation. What seems cheaper per fortnight to those that are young and don’t thoroughly read the contract, becomes a situation where they are then locked in for a year, even if you for some reason you really can’t afford it or simply don’t want to go anymore.

Negative experience: Tricked me into signing and said money will be taken after I come for induction. Cancelled the induction and kept taking money from my account. Facebook does not allow you to review and there is a reason for that as the star rating would be as low as you can get. Shabby gym trick to make money
