Fantastic experience: Such an amazing gym with the loveliest staff who always greet you by name and are always happy to help. For being a smaller franchise, I was so pleasantly and immensely shocked at the sheer amount of different machines and equipment Rec has! Always well maintained, everyone is so respectful with cleaning up after themselves and workouts in general, and I genuinely could not ask for better. My partner who powerlifts always remarks when he joins me for workouts how impressed he is with all of the different equipment available. As a specific highlight of how amazing the staff are, I had to unexpectedly pause my membership earlier this year due to sudden onset of a severe illness. Josh was incredibly kind, wishing me well and waiving the typical membership pause fee during that period. Overall, I couldn't recommend Rec Xpress Clayton more. Keep being amazing guys :)

Negative experience: My recent interactions with Rec Xpress Clayton (Josh ) have left me deeply dissatisfied due to a lack of understanding of customer concerns and unprofessional behaviour from management. These experiences have seriously undermined my confidence in Rec Xpress ability to prioritize customer satisfaction. As someone who values a positive gym environment and respectful interactions, I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed. I hope that management takes this feedback constructively and implements measures to improve customer relations and staff training. Customers deserve to feel valued and respected, and I trust that Rec Xpress can work towards achieving this standard.

Some of my priorities that were met at Rec Ex Clayton included cleanliness, great customer service, list of amenities and most importantly, parking! It’s a great gym with friendly regulars helping out when needed. Special mention to PT Hannah Young, who’s super friendly & fun, highly knowledgeable and professional. She helped me pick up weight training and coached me on diet & nutrition (helped me lose over 10 kgs!)

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym with all the machines and weights required for a complete body workout, with clean bathrooms and well maintained equipments. Offer cheaper monthly plans compared to other gyms in Clayton. The PT's are knowledgeable and helpful. Importantly it is not over crowded.

Positive experience: Pros: Been going to this gym for 2 years. Nice medium sized gym. Has all the necessary equipments and machines to get you ripped. Clean and well maintained. Best part is it’s not crowded. It’s a really good deal for its price. Highly recommend. Staffs are very friendly. Cons: The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of five is because sometimes during peak hours parking can be hard to find (which is not the gyms fault tbh, otherwise I don’t have any real issue with the gym.

Had Hannah assist me with induction/onboarding and give me a rundown of the facilities and equipment; she was very personable and helpful - especially being someone who hasn't been to the gym in a longtime, having a positive, friendly face was great. RecXpress has a great variety of machines and equipment that are well cared for.

Fantastic experience: A very nice gym light on pocket in comparison to other surrounding gyms. Opens 24X7. In comparison to other surrounding gyms like training day or snap fitness it may look little small but it has all the facility you may need.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to rec express for just under a year and overall I can say I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The gym is always well kept and Tim is quick to get things fixed when needed. The gym isn't super packed which is perfect for me, as I prefer to have my own space whenever possible. In the beginning I trialled other gyms in the area but I settled at Rec Express due to it being more spacious during my training times.

Negative experience: Very rude and unprofessional customer service. I visit at clayton branch to rejoin the gym with my partner Thursday. But the way their representative treat us was very embarrassing .
