Negative experience: good equipments. but the older lady physio was very rude in correcting us how to properly use the barbell. There is a proper way of talking to gym members rather than talking loud and humiliating in front of everyone. Just came back to AF and this experience was disappointing.

Negative experience: Worst gym iv ever been to , they straight away try to get you in contract and lie to you about options to cancel your gym membership but you never can . TBH don’t recommend at all there’s other gym at way better service and cheaper price
Negative experience: They will try to scam you in every possible way you sign up and they will keep your card as long as they can you will have to fight to get it back I tried leaving after 1 year but they will not let me go claiming I took too much time off I was sick for 2 month and they have been withdrawing from my account 4 months after my contract expired and they tell you they will give 3 free lessons free but if you don’t sign another contract for the rest of the year for personal training they will ignore you and will not give you 3 free lessons and become very grumpy the manager is the worst person to deal with not a Pleasant place to be in at all

Negative experience: I had a very frustrating experience with Anytime Fitness in Epping North, Victoria. I initially signed up during a promotion offering 8 weeks of free usage with a 12-month contract. The rate was good, but the sales process was poor. The salesperson was careless and didn't explain the significant exit fee for early cancellation. When I moved interstate a few months later, I returned my access key to the nearest branch and was told that this plus an email request would suffice to cancel my membership. Despite this, I continued to be charged. My attempts to resolve the issue were exhausting, as the communication was inconsistent and unhelpful. The salesperson was unprofessional, rushing me through the process without allowing me to review the contract terms. When I sought assistance, the staff was rude and apathetic. Overall, the lack of clear communication and poor customer service made it incredibly difficult to end my contract. I would not recommend this gym based on my experience.

Unfortunately, it appears there was some confusion, as blocking payments with your bank the following day resulted in an arrears balance that complicated the cancellation. Negative experience: "Worst... Terrible.... Waste of money" I recently joined Anytime Fitness Epping North in hopes of getting back into shape and improving my overall health. However, my experience at this gym has been nothing short of disappointing. First and foremost, the staff at Anytime Fitness Epping North were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, they were dismissive and made me feel like I was bothering them. It's as if they had no interest in helping their paying customers whatsoever. Additionally, the cleanliness of the gym was appalling. The equipment looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, and there was a lingering odor of sweat and mildew throughout the facility. It's unacceptable for a gym to be in such a dirty and unsanitary condition, especially considering the importance of hygiene in a place where people are sweating and working out. Furthermore, the lack of organization and communication from the staff was frustrating. I often showed up for classes that were either canceled without notice or had last-minute changes to the schedule. It felt like the staff had no regard for their members' time and schedules, which led to a lot of wasted time on my end. Lastly, the overall atmosphere of the gym was unwelcoming and unfriendly. There was a sense of cliquishness among the regular members, which made it uncomfortable for newcomers like myself to feel included. It's important for a gym to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, but unfortunately, that was not the case at Anytime Fitness Epping North In conclusion, my experience at Anytime Fitness Epping North was extremely disappointing due to the rude and unhelpful staff, the lack of cleanliness, the disorganization, and the unwelcoming atmosphere. I would not recommend this gym to anyone looking for a positive and enjoyable fitness experience.

Negative experience: Anytime Fitness Wollert (Aurora Village near to coles) This Gym's customer service is very terrible. They feels like we joined this Gym at no cost at all. Machine are broken all the time and No ETA to get it fixed and its over the months now. WiFi does not work at all as asked them to fix it many time still not fixed. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM RATHER JOIN OTHER NEARBY GYM AS NOT WORTH AND ITS EXPENSIVE COMPARE TO OTHER GYMS IN THIS AREA.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience at this gym . I would suggest everyone to not take membership if this gym. As it charges high fees a services are 0%. I tried to cancel the membership by calls, by messages, by email. They don’t cancel membership easily. And charges high fees even to cancel it. They are just greedy don’t have ethics.

Negative experience: You have to pay $70 for a key fob when you already own one? Unlike every other anytime fitness that lets you use one you already have and hearing about large price increases on members. If this particular anytime fitness wasn’t so money hungry they would have better reviews from people and more members with a better experience, also helps to not have rude staff.

Negative experience: Where do I start, Anytime Fitness specifically with epping in aurora have absolutely no interest in your health whatsoever. Gemma the manager has been putting me through absolute hell. Emailed a medical certificate to her that states I have back injury and the time frame for treatment of my condition was unknown, she has told me that my condition wasn’t sufficient enough to cancel my membership apparently I have to be permanently incapacitated so pretty much paralysed to be qualified enough to cancel with them. I have been going back and forth with her and she has been charging me money from my account when I haven’t been able to use the gym. Please read the contract very carefully when signing up for this gym as they will do everything in their power to get as much money from you as they can wether or not you are providing medical documentation as support. Save yourself the time and pain and do your research to find a good gym, Because of this situation not only am I struggling physically but now mentally and financially as well. I will be contacting ACCC as well to let them know how horribly they are handling customers/clients.

Negative experience: Terrible. Took over 6 weeks and 8 emails to get back to me to cancel my membership. Gym stinks and the equipment is dirty. Weights are never in order and only 1 set of each. Music is not suited to a gym. Way over priced at $90 a month for what you get. Try getting your patrons to use deodorant please.

Negative experience: I was paying $60 and now $90, that’s 50% increase and reason is cleaning fees increased. Such a lame excuse. Definitely they are not here for community. And they didn’t refund the key fob $80 as well.

Negative experience: I went to the office and the lady there she was unwelcome. She’s giving me an attitude and she was like do you have an appointment? I just see them every day they’re doing nothing they’re too lazy to do their job. And even lie to me there they’re promoting like there’s a five dollar for five weeks and then she told me no you have to sign a membership for two years. I was like what she’s trying to scam me. I’m not going there ever. It’s the closest gym at my house but I’m not gonna again.

Negative experience: Guys, I’m telling you do not sign the contract. They’re lying at you and also there’s no free Wi-Fi and there’s too many people and if you want to find a cheap contract you can find it in the Facebook market or tell them I don’t want to sign the contract.

Negative experience: I been with this gym from long time. I cancelled my membership Bcs I hav to go out of country for 4 months. Come back & give them a call to rejoin so on the call she told me that prices go up Bcs they did some work around the gym . I said ok it makes sense.She told me $19:95 week. And no join fees Bcs I already hav a key with me. Once I visit there talk to her . Totally different she tried to get $99 join fees from me . And another thing they tried to get u in 24 months contact.If don’t want contract I hav to $26 a week. Plus $99 join fees.(I still got my key with though) That’s ridiculous. I will preferred to go around area with no joining fees. No contract.cheaper and a lot bigger gym then this. With a lot of machines.

Negative experience: The membership fees have been increased by nearly 50% for putting in about 2-3 new machines. Given that there has been an extensive increase in the number of members, often leaving the gym very crowded and increased wait times for equipment, I would expect that the least they could do is keep the membership fees constant. Everyday I also see new members joining so I do not understand the substantial increase in fees. I have been a member with them for over 2 years. It use to be good before and now I feel like I don't get my money's worth especially after the price increase.

Negative experience: False advertisement, I received an email $5 for 5 weeks, but when I went to join the gym they had a catch and they told me I have to sign a contract for at least 12 months to be eligible for this offer, however this was not mentioned in the email I received, their membership prices are very high compare to other gyms around Epping, Don't waste people's time by false advertisements.

I tried cancelling my memebership and they have continued to take money out of my acc. I have gone in to discuss with someone however have been show the most disgusting customer service so unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful people with no care in the world for their “customers”. Negative experience: More than half treadmills not working from last week. Just 2-3 working and trying to call but no one answering the calls. Wrost experience gym reopen after 3 weeks now more dramas going on…..

Fantastic experience: All the equipment you need with a good layout having equipment both upstairs and downstairs. The gym no longer feels out-of-date after the renovations. Great staff and gym community.

Negative experience: Worst customer service. they closed with small notice, i just joined and i cannot even go to other gyms as they have 31 days lock to use another branches.

Negative experience: This gym is really small ad doesn't have alot of equipment. Half the time people dnt put their weights back, I'm always packing up a bunch of weights, it's not that hard yo put ur weights back

Fantastic experience: Been a member in this gym for around a month now and I can say I've had the best time here. Staff is super chill and very helpful! I wont post their names here. Place is always clean and theres a lot of equipment. Cant say I have anything bad to say everythings been great!! 10/10

Negative experience: I walked in for the first time to find out about the memberships and prices. There is no front desk so it’s quite overwhelming as a new customer to not know where you should go. A staff member was quick to come out of an office but her first question was do you have an appointment which made it seem like walk ins weren’t welcome. The staff member said it should be ok and got me to wait while she went back into the office. It was quite awkward as I wasn’t sure where to stand or sit. Then when she came back out she said fill this form out. I explained I only wanted to enquire about the memberships and prices. The staff member said I had to fill the form out and would then show me around the gym. I didn’t want to do that but she said it was so she could see my goals and so forth. Again, I explained I only want to enquire about the membership prices. The conversation went around in circles and I knew I wasn’t going to get the prices or have the membership options explained so I said I’ll leave it. This is not a great intro for people wanting to enquire before giving all of their personal details. I am now looking for another gym even though this was the closest to me. The welcome of walk ins and communication is not inviting and in my opinion needs to be improved.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are absolutely wonderful. They are welcoming and friendly, and I would highly recommend stopping by and checking the place out. The gym itself is clean, with plenty of equipment that’s in good shape. But definitely have to shout out the team here, so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - thank you!

Negative experience: Came here for a test run and really didn't like this gym. Not enough cardio machines and too many assisted weights machines that nobody was using. Also the air freshener was that strong it gave me hayfever!

Negative experience: Access issues caused by gym wanting me to make this my home gym. Membership in good order. I have been vaccinated and loaded my certificate to the anytime vaccination portal. This has meant can access my home gym and other gyms around the northern suburbs without any issue. When trying to access Epping north my fob wouldn’t open the doors. I tried to contact the admin staff for Epping north but didn’t hear back till 3 days later. I contacted my home gym who told me all my details were in good order. When Epping North eventually got back they said I needed to fill out vaccination form saying Epping North is my home gym in order for me to access the gym. Seems a bit dodgy. Like I said I can access other gym except Epping North.

Fantastic experience: This is the first gym I've felt welcome at, and have enjoyed coming to. The team here are amazing and caring. Everything is always clean and well maintained. Looking forward to the gym reopening after lockdown!

Negative experience: I used to go to this gym alot and I recently went here and I was AMAZED by how RUDE staff are. Probably the worst staff experience I've ever had. Sad to see this as the gym itself is really nice but I am EXTREMELY TURNED OFF by the rude and condescending staff members.

Fantastic experience: This gym is basically my second home and the staff have always treated me with such respect and kindness. They always smile EVERYTIME you pop through the door. The gym is always spotless. The atmosphere is wonderful and I feel so welcomed. Much love to the manager ❤️

Negative experience: Gym at Epping North started great however after covid, management would not do a thing about the smell from some members. These members would refuse to use deodorant and always try to get away with no towel. So in return these members who say Im being a racist and that Im on my phone alot when the gym is a ghost town most times. No wifi and 4G signal strength so bad. Management then cancelled my membership because I wouldn't turn down my mobile phone. No wonder members have left to go elsewhere. Thanks Nat

Negative experience: Extremely rude staff. Received sarcastic comments and passive aggression from the middle aged lady working at Aurora Village Center. Very appalling & definitely would not recommend. Also False advertisement. As I keep getting ads to get a free 5 day trail, but when we went there we were told that it has been expired. Still receiving notifications about free trial online after the the first session.

Positive experience: Decent amount of equipments & cleanliness evident! However, staffs didn’t seem very friendly and sounds harsh at times because of their choice of words. They are just a little behind from global Anytime Fitness standard. If you don’t have to talk to the Gym manager for anything, you are at the right place. Do yourself a favour - put your headphones on, always bring your gym access key and focus on your training!
