Positive experience: OK gym, abit dark and stuffy, always busy and not alot of machine varieties, the space is small and machines are so near to each other. The chest press machine even touches the next one if being used.

Negative experience: Too rude staff literally don’t know how to treat their customers specially the lady and from the management I’m totally disappointed got an unnecessary 250$ fine.
Good morning, Noted we have checked and confirmed that you are the member of another club and not of Homebush. This means we are not able to issue fines to you and would advise to discuss this direct with your club. Inline with service use $250 fines are only issued for repeated security breaches and only after warnings are issued in writing to a member. Its important that all members from all clubs utilizing the facilities are following required terms and conditions and rules and regulations. At homebush, we do make everything easy read and visually clear and available to all parties using our site to ensure no one accidentally gets caught up with doing the wrong thing.
Negative experience: One of a lady is so rude i will never come back again

Sometimes implementing rules and regulations are perceived as "being rude" by a member in this circumstance. When managing a facility that has a variety of different club members attending from different clubs it is important to make sure a fair and safe environment is maintained for everyone.

Fantastic experience: The manager Danielle is an Amazing she keeps the gym clean and tidy and running efficiently heather gym . Kevin the trainer is one of the best and really understands and helps.
Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the misleading cancellation policy at this gym. When I signed up 6-7 years ago, I was told I only needed to give 4 weeks' (30 days) notice to cancel, but now I’m being told it’s actually 6 weeks (45 days). It feels like they’re just trying to squeeze out extra payments from members. Be sure to read every bit of the fine print carefully before signing up, as they’re not upfront about their policies. Very unhappy with how this was handled by Danielle - the club manager.

I can note that your extension on the time frame is not related to our process but however to you completing the process within the guidelines provided which unfortunately delayed your finalisation of the account. We do agree that all members are advised to make sure they read their terms and conditions thoroughly prior to signing up and as always they are always provided a copy for their own records to ensure they can review within the cooling off period if they disagree with or wish to not continue. Negative experience: Predatory lock in contract. Don't reccomend this place.

This is especially important when signing up to the "lock in (12 month) " membership option as there are key termination terms when committing to this agreement. We also like to advise our members on sign up that when choosing the alternate "No-Lock In" (30 day notice) this is not committed to a set time frame and still has termination fees associated.
Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this gym since I moved to North strathfield 3 years ago and I've watched it change over time. But as of recent I'm really impressed with the way things have upgraded. Not just the equipment but the environment of the gym itself. Just want to mention the lovely Danielle who has really made a great turn around there. Not only has she given it that extra push on the ongoing maintenance but she has also ensured that all members are kept informed of changes and what's next to come. Would definately recommend seeing her for a sign up!. Overall this gym is amazing its clean, friendly staff, good crowd and great for gym sessions!

Fantastic experience: The Mog Champ sends his regards. I've been here for over 4 years now since the start of 2020. So I can definitely say I've seen a lot happen in this gym with things breaking, things upgrading, lot of different regulars and even staff coming and going! I've also visited a few other Plus Fitnesses before and I have to say this one is by far the best one out of the bunch, it's got enough equipment to satisfy any workout as well. The cleanliness standard in this gym is also much higher than other Plus Fitness locations as well. Need to keep the hygiene up especially if you're in the gym working on yourself right? I haven't interacted with all of the regulars here, but most of them seem respectful and that's what matters especially if everyone's sharing the place. The gym might feel a bit tight during peak visiting hours so I would personally recommend avoiding 4-6ish Mon-Fri if possible. But do what you can do get a nice workout sesh in anyway. Negative experience: Horrible experience. The staff here are rude, aggressive, dirty (the staff do not practice personal hygiene) their unfair and like to pick at members during their free time.If you’re coming from another club they treat you different. I left this place last time extremely upset and anxious. I will not return back to this facility even if you payed me.

Negative experience: Gym is unkept, the metal guard on the walls in the free weights area are shredding off with sharp corners - massive risk for Injury. One piece is completely unstuck from the wall and just leaning against it.. smaller gym so less equipment, the assisted dip/pull up pulley is not maintained and makes an awful noise and added drag
Thank you for you feedback, we are in the process of replacing this, to avoid shutting the gym for this we are working on finishing this in quieter times. With these things we are at the mercy of available tradespersons as well to complete the work. Our equipment is maintenance every 2 months and lubricated monthly, if you notice a piece of equipment needs fixing please email us with a picture or explanation and we can then log this. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I was so anxious starting my fitness journey until I spoke with Danni, she made the whole transition smooth, explained everything in the simplest way and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Even after I started coming to the gym regularly she still gives me such beautiful service and is always up for helping me, I’ve referred so many people now. We love coming!

Negative experience: Danni the staff lady with glasses will not stop harassing people. She forced me to remove my headphones three times blaming me for using the weights and dropping them on the floor when everyone else was doing the same. Danni is rude, mean, hostile and aggressive unlike the rest of the Plus Homebush staff who are usually lovely. I am very disappointed that such behaviour is condoned.
Hello Maria, We appreciate your feedback as we are always on the lookout for ways to improve our gym. In relation to weights and equipment staff are required to speak with members to reduce the risk of damage and to maintain continued access to well working equipment this is always completed with fairness and understanding. At the moment we also have an extensive amount of members from other clubs joining us in Homebush due to other club renovations and this means our staff have to be more alert and enforce all club regulations to make sure our regular members are not affect. You are more than welcome to speak with Danni in club to discuss further she is always happy to speak with our members.

Negative experience: Always busy, very congested. Have to wait for every machine. There is just one pair of dumbells of every weight, if someone takes that away, you can do nothing but wait as there is no spare weights. But this is the only gym around Homebush and Flemington, so no other choice.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite gyms is the one in Homebush. Although it became crowded with lots of equipment within a year, it may not be as spacious as Rydalmere Plus Fitness. Nevertheless, the reason I love it is because of the friendly and welcoming staff who treat you exceptionally well. Moreover, they diligently maintain the gym, ensuring it is always clean and tidy.

Negative experience: Same price with poor quality. In different location there are 2 storey gyms but here there is no space for fresh air. Especially afternoon staff they act like they own the gym. Instead of fixing what broken is they are asking me where my towel is when I am running on the treadmill.

With regards to the towels, I hope you can appreciate that we enforce no towels no training as much as we can to ensure the well being of all members. With the current global situation I'm sure you can understand why it's even more important to keep the gym as hygienic as possible. The padding on the machines deteriorate mainly due to the sweat from not using a towel on machines, another reason why it's important to use a towel however not to worry, in case you weren't aware quite a few of the machines have already been retrimmed in black, the rest of machines will be retrimmed as the week progresses and will be looking all new again If you would like to discuss this further feel free to call us on 02 9763 5588

Negative experience: This gym was good few years ago when it was new, now as the days passed the maintenance of this lost. Arrogant staff, unprofessional. I Would never recommend anyone to bother joining up at this location. Especially they promote no lock-in contracts but they charge more on that and when you ask to cancel the memberships they will deduct the next coming payment then do cancel. Worst experience never recommend to go especially this branch of plus fitness.

Negative experience: WARNING - ATTENTION, I was a customer for 3.5 years and never missed a payment. When you are cancelling the membership, please make sure you get a signed copy/email stating that no outstanding balances from Plus Fitness staff. I cancelled my membership by emailing the cancellation form in Nov 2021 and asked over the phone 'Is there any balance to be paid ?' , they said No outstanding, so I moved on. After 3 months of my cancellation Plus Fitness chased me thru DEBT COLLECTION stating I have 3 outstanding payments. They will humiliate you by giving your details to DEBT COLLECTION and with their arrogant behaviour. They do not call you being a good customer and tell us that there was an outstanding balance of payments(eg $75) which we can sort out over the phone, they will send your details to DEBT COLLECTION and humiliate you. IT HAPPENDED TO ME. It does not matter how good customer you are and they DO NOT know how to respect a customer relationship. Repeating again, when cancelling the membership be careful and take all approvals in writing/email.

Positive experience: After change of management. The weights aren't restacked and dumbells not in order. Also the cleaning supplies are not refilled for the weekends when there are no staff available. Some of the benches are ripped and worn and could be replaced. The place was a well maintained gym before. Hope it improves.

Positive experience: It's big with lot of equipments, treadmills and parking space, but there are few issues 1. only one set of dumbbells from 1-10 kg. 2. There is no battlerope, slam ball, ab roller. 3. No free wifi as in other Plus fitness. It's too crowded at times.

Positive experience: Good place ...abit squeezy. But it's all good
Positive experience: Very clean small gym. Has everything you need except a water fountain (maybe due to covid) plenty of parking. Good selection in vending machine. Only 2 little problems was the dumbbells are not in order and the air-conditioning makes it very cold in there. At 1 point I thought I need my winter clothes on. Good job guys on keeping it clean.

Positive experience: Went here today at 10:30 for a one hour session. The staff are professional and work hard to keep the gym clean and operational. However I am writing this review because I also used the song request machine to request 2 songs and one of them got skipped and instead the staff chose 4 of their own songs to play. Don't know if this was an accident but not sure why have a members DJ if members can't request songs? This was just a one time issue and normally the staff are hardworking and helpful but also saw another review here about the same issue? Would be great next time to be able to request a couple songs without getting skipped :). Just a minor inconvience

Positive experience: Coming to this gym since the day you have opened your doors it’s one of the clean gym in the area , but recently I have noticed that some members have started to bring their mates in to the gym , who apparently not the members and in few Occassion I have seen some people working out on jeans pants, slippers, with no towel and occupying two machines at a time , they don’t even wipe down the benches after using them, hence raising lot of concerns about the hygiene levels especially during this time .I strongly believe that gym management should look in to it and take all the necessary steps to stop it .

Positive experience: I've going this gym from few weeks now, post COVID, they have taken care of gym very well. Gym staff cleans the gym every hour, sanitizer stations are Setup, cleaning wipes are available, social distancing is enforced, less crowd. Its safe to visit gym now, clean the equipments before and after use and it will be all good. Cheers!!

Fantastic experience: Has clean and new essential equipment for strength and cardiovascular training. Lacks a large area for those who prefer floor exercises (e.g. HIIT program), though the staff runs classes outdoors for more space. Lacks multiple showers. Needs better ventilation (perhaps fans in crowded areas)

Positive experience: Recently moved to this gym from Plus Fitness Lidcombe due to the gym having much newer and well maintained equipment. You'll find that the gym is quite small overall compared to other gyms but all the necessary equipment is there. Only thing I would suggest for them is to invest in some ventilation as there's nothing worse than trying to go hard on the weights but suffocating on body odour and the humidity in the lower weights.

Positive experience: Equipments are quite well ranged, however the shower room and toilet sucks (just 2 unisex toilets) and they don't have toilet papers most times! Parking gets full at times, thanks to the construction workers!

Positive experience: 2023 april The cleaning is not the best nowadays and some machines are not operating properly. Besides free deodorant the blokes there have B. O.... Dammn although this franchise is no longer as good as it was all. Have been a member since 2015. 2021 An absolute pleasure to visit this gym. All brand new equipment, organised weights, clean and spacious. The best PF within 10kms range in my opinion. Besides that, it was nice to meet the owners they are very receptive of our feedbacks.
