Fantastic experience: All praise goes to the manager, Jonah, who has raised the standard of efficiency in the Dingley club. He is dedicated to solve queries and iron out any admin errors the members experience. He is polite, and kind and there is nothing too difficult for him to sort out. The environment is great, the programs are run well and the premises are clean and well kept. Overall, when you walk in you will sense a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. Fantastic experience: Massive respect and praise for Priscilla, who always works so hard to keep the gym looking great, and feeling welcoming. Her positive and warm attitude towards the gym members, and her stellar work clearing up the plates around the gym, make each experience enjoyable. Fantastic experience: Im an experienced gymgoer and use multiple goodlife’s, this humble little one is one of my favourites due to minimal egos, friendly staff and members. I’ve also been spotted by Emily and Brandon before who took time out of their shift to help and teach me. As long as Priscilla is on shift you can always guarantee the gym is left neat and tidy, the way it should be left by members and staff. Spa, when working is a good one also. Just another fan or two would help when gym floor gets busy and stuffy.

Negative experience: My wife cancelled her membership on 20/06/2024 which I was told will be 30 days then direct debit stops. I now see a direct debit coming out on 01/08/2024 - you have to be kidding me - this is exactly why I hate direct debit and had the same issue years ago at another goodlife location - poor service

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the management. They had taken money for further 4 months after the annual subscription had ended without any correspondence and never keep in touch with me regarding any updates . I was a member of Monash recreation for over 10 years if we miss the gym for two weeks they sent us reminders. Compared to that this was an absolutely awful experience. Will not recommend good life health clubs for any one.

Positive experience: Can you please hire someone / a company that can keep the spa running. It’s out of order 40% of the time. How come it is this hard?? (It’s great when it works btw) Rest of the facilities is good. Upstairs cooling during group classes can be hit and miss (again, one of those “how hard can it be?”) Staff are friendly and welcoming!

Negative experience: I don't know why I need to wait more than 15 minutes to talk to someone to change my bank details... It won't let me do it online and my email did not get a reply. The longest wait for a gym to call and talk to someone.
Positive experience: My review won't be much help as I was only there to help with my grand baby after his swimming lesson. Still, the place is nice and clean, there are good facilities there, changerooms, showers etc. Be aware that their pool belongs to Kingswim so it's not a pool designed for adults.
Negative experience: Reminds me of Average Joe's Gym from Dodgeball. Great local family gym, but weightlifting equipment is very out-dated. Attachments like, handles, grips and ropes require replacing. Feel like the same rope attachment has been there from 13 years ago when I first started training at Goodlife. Needs a lot of TLC. The only new-ish equipment there are the elliptical machines. Overall, it's rather sad. Especially when you have rival gyms like Revo that's just opened up, Anytime Fitness, True Fitness and Iron Kingdom with more variety, is more vibrant, has more life, and less the price to use.

Negative experience: Gym itself is good yet the staff try very hard to lock you into a contract. You have to sign a contract just to do a free trial!!! And when you try cancel it within the cooling off period they give you the run around! Took a few visits to just get them to do it correctly yet still never sent a confirmation email about the cancellation either!!! Very poor customer service experience thus far.

Positive experience: FREE MANICURE AND PEDICURE! In all serious, has the potential to be a great little facilty. Gym equipment is modern but I was thinking about joining here for the pool, but it's so shallow you can't swim for half of the pool unless you want to scrape your hands and feet. Staff were nice and pleasant though, just a shame the pool is built for 3 year olds.

Negative experience: Disappointing management, if anyone want join this club for swimming then avoid it. What a waste of money. They have facility but they hardly open for public. They always saying for teaching kids but Most of time pool empty. If you check time table you are lucky to find. Average 2 to 4 hours sweem per day. Unfortunately not only that, I found lack of hygiene. Bin was full with nepies.like did not clean for days.
Positive experience: First off, I first started going to this gym in 2015 and while it’s not the fanciest, it has enough to get the ball rolling for beginners and anyone who would otherwise feel intimidated by bigger gyms. It was only due to the initiative and good business sense of Shannar that dragged me back after the endless lockdowns and Josh’s boxing expertise to help me loose all the Covid kilos and then some after a 4 year hiatus, I definitely wouldn’t have lasted the last 12 months. So I was surprised and disheartened, as a member and a participant, to hear that two prizes for their Changing You Challenge, donated by a former Dingley Goodlife trainer, were taken from the trainer’s office. As someone who has 15 years experience in Customer Service Management, I’m also incredibly disappointed that very little effort was taken to at least try to find out what happened and would expect more honesty and integrity from the people I share an environment with.
Fantastic experience: A very versatile gym with all sorts of different characters. Emily at the reception was incredibly helpful and gave me a tour of the entire gym. She was keen to hear my feedback about the place and was great to chat with!
Fantastic experience: Nice gym, plenty of facilities. All staff have always been friendly and helpful and that goes for the PT’s as well. No hesitation in recommending Goodlife Dingley at all to any one at any age.

Negative experience: Decent enough gym as gyms go, however staff can vary between quite friendly to openly hostile. Several times I've made eye contact with on site training staff and said 'hi', only to be met with icy stares and silence. One trainer actually smirked. If you can believe that. Equipment is ok. Best to go when it's quiet.
Negative experience: Charged me for a whole year when I sent numerous requests for cancellation . It is dissapointing in they way they rip you off.

Negative experience: Extremely incompetent staff. Misled me to join for free for a month and charged me with the full amount anyway. After I cancelled my membership and confirmed with them that they wouldn’t charge me beyond the amount for my contract, they charged me again. They never processed my cancellation. A total scam of a gym, with old equipment and mediocre quality. One of the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: My dad referred me to this gym and having that motivation from staff and them assisting me with my goals I really appreciate that. The amenities are very useful and the gym equipment are well maintained and cleaned for every use. I especially love doing the Cycle Sessions!

Negative experience: Charging $20 a week for a gym with minimal capacity and equipment is a bit of a stretch. Staff aren't the best and the facilities aren't the best. Several gyms around the area charge less with a better space and facilities.
Negative experience: Good gym facility with friendly people coming in and out. However, there is this one staff who I met was being very racist. This makes me feel extremely uncomfortable with this gym. As asian is not being respected! Swimming is also only used to scam us to join the gym.

Positive experience: Been to many good life gym, this one has pool, good facility, many choices of group classs. but the worst hygiene. Mats are sticky, rooms smell sweaty. Showers with damaged lock and constantly no hot water.

Negative experience: I've been looking for a gym and after I took my son to swimming lessons next door I went to speak to the two guys casually chatting to each other at the information desk. They could not have been more disinterested in speaking to me, a potential client. I asked if they had yoga classes and one of them shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know." After I gave them a surprised look they pointed to a board and said "You can look on the board...I think there might be yoga." I asked if they had a brochure of classes as I also like spin and they said "We don't have a brochure." They just wanted to get rid of me! Essentially there was no way I could get information from them. I was embarrassed. I guess I was just supposed to go home and go online instead of speaking to the two men who had time on their hands and no customer service skills.
Negative experience: The staff are well trained and polite however ! I cancelled my membership over 6x months and advised Goodlife NOT to renew my membership after my 12x months lapsed. I was booked in for back surgery and did not want to continue with my membership! I have been getting charged weekly despite giving more than a months notice in writing to cancel my annual renewal ! I am now seeking a full refund for the moneys they were NOT authorised to withdraw. Failing this, I shall be calling the ombudsman. Poor Form for such a franchise to be playing at!

Negative experience: Normally don't post reviews but I have been so disappointed. First was when I was schedule with a sales person she pulled out last minute. The on the next time I went, she was out doing something even though we had an appointment. She was 30 mins late and then had to attend another person and told me to come back next time. I decided to go with another home gym instead. Then when I decided to get a 24/7 pass, I arrived at 7.50, and the girl at the counter wouldn't even process a pass for me because she already closed the till. The next time I went, the gym was closed at 1pm due to "unforseen" circumstances. Seriously, they need to get their act together ! It's like they don't even want your business. I have not even used this gym ever since I got this membership. Appalling ! I'd recommend going to another gym just to not waste your time with these staff. Due to this, I have only been able to go once a week because of no pass for this gym. So disappointed . Don't bother

Negative experience: I’ve joined a couple gyms in the past with no issues and had a great experience. Unfortunately I cannot say this for Goodlife Dingley. I went in to sign up for a $20 for a month trial and was told that despite what it said on the website I wouldn’t have access to classes, or the pool with the trial also wouldn’t be able to access the gym outside of staffed hours. I was offered a flexible membership and told I would have the first month free of charge, as I was hesitant about signing up. I was only told about the $158 joining fee AFTER I signed up.. I was also charged an additional $84 for the first two weeks despite the ‘free month’. I tried to cancel my membership after this and during the cooling off period in the first few days but was told I had to give 30 days PAID notice before I could cancel my membership, even though I was meant to be getting the first month free so I had to wait an additional month and pay for 30 days before I could even cancel even if I wasn’t able to use the gym. I was charged incorrectly more than once and I would contact the gym and the service representative who told me it would take 2 weeks for the money they took ‘by mistake’ to be returned to my account. The reception staff were nice but I can’t say the same for the service representative who wasn’t ver professional. In the end they kept all the money they accidentally took from my account and used it as my 30 days notice and I’m still getting texts and calls from them. On top of all this my 24/7 key tag didn’t even work which was the main reason I signed up to this gym. The facilities themselves weren’t bad and the classes were good but it’s not worth all the hassle and money to join this gym.

Negative experience: Dingley Village is perhaps the worst operated Goodlife club. They appoint personal trainers who are contractors and take no ownership of their actions, worst part is that members aren’t aware that Goodlife takes no responsibility towards these trainers wearing Goodlife uniforms and performing services under their roof. Goodlife recommended a personal trainer to me who charged 10 sessions in advance, provided 5 coaching sessions and a did a runner with my money. Goodlife has done nothing to remidy this, worse part is the extremely poor “don’t care” staff attitude of Dingley towards this fraud. Members who use personal trainers there are putting themselves at financial and physical risks everyday as Goodlife has zero responsibility towards these contractors. So please be aware of this before signing up with a trainer in any Goodlife club. In addition to this poor and neglected staff attitude the Dingley club is not properly maintained with dirty bathrooms and dirty gym floor. Apart from the fact that they have some good equipment and gym is not very busy there is not much worth recommending about this place.

Negative experience: I’ve never left a bad review online on any business but I hate the way this place works. constant hidden extra fee’s and ‘coaching fee’s’ that I never wanted or used even though I asked for them to not charge it as I didn’t want it , equipment is average and not a lot of variety, but the biggest issue is it’s Impossible to get out of this place. tried to cancel after not visiting for at least a year as I go to nitro gym close by which isn’t a loco in contract and much cheaper and better maintained with much better equipment, was told I have 8 weeks left on my contract after the girl pretended to play on a calculator to come up with that number then mentioned a $190 cancellation fee but then acted as if she was doing me a favour by not charging it, I then asked how the long contact was for to which the receptionist replied “18 months” I then asked when exactly I signed up (knowing it was at least 2 years ago) she couldn’t tell me even though she claimed to know I had “8 weeks to go” and I have to keep paying that out even tho I haven’t been there in over a year and the contract actually finished in feb 19 when I looked into it. still in the process to get this direct debit canceled via the bank because I know they will do everything they can to ignore me and squeeze every dollar out of you they can, not a good way to do business or treat customers, not sure who designs these high pressure sale based lock in contracts designed to hide everything from you and then pushed into it like you’re signing your life away but it’s supposed to be a gym not a mortgage. This exact same thing happened when I was younger here I forgot how much I hated the place after they make it impossible to cancel your membership, after 30 phone calls and constantly being sent around in circles I cracked it and had to force someone to give me the paperwork to sign me out of it. Has happened to every other friend that has gone there and still happens today. I’ll never set foot in this place again other than being forced to to get this stupid membership canceled.

Negative experience: Such a rude staff member Karushka! Joined this Gym June 2018 and been going to the gym every single week but looks like the reception staff wants people to leave their gym. 1. The person who signed me up signed me up on a higher rate than what my friend received only 2 weeks ago. 2. Brought my partner to join the gym in November 2018 was promised 28days free this was never processed after 3 months spoke to Karushka and said she will process it through never did and never followed it up. Had to follow up again in April 2019. 3. BEWARE of the sneaky quarterly charge they will put it through as coaching fee. Nobody told me about it until I checked my account and saw they have been deducting this every quarter. When asked about it Karushka said I signed the contract but in they summary when you sign the contract they never mentioned that there will be a quarterly charge. I have been with one the amazing trainers at this gym Shaun who has been working on my rehab exercises and body strengthening. Unfortunately I will have to leave this gym and that trainer because as Krashuka spoke to me in such a rude manner and told me I can not remove that charge even though you have been not using that coaching service. If this gym was so true to their customers why do they not call their customers and organise a coaching service before charging that fee. Instead they just deduct that charge sneakily out of your account hoping the customer does not find out about it. I realise that I’m not the only one who has experienced bad service at this Gym there are plenty more who had rated them lower and wonder what Goodlife is doing to its brand and not training their staff that without customers you will eventually loose business. There is soo much of development happening around in Dingley only a matter of time people will start moving out. Any ways they also have OLD equipment which has been brought from other gyms and advertising outside that they have upgraded their gym. I warn everyone that beware of this gym’s sneaky ways of ripping you off there are much better equipped gyms around and much friendlier staff.

Positive experience: 24 hours gym access is offered. This place also has separate area for the females want to work out in private space. Jaccuzi and big swimming pool is included in membership. There are also squash courts here. Different classes are also offered according to their time table. Ample place for parking and disable parking is also available. Staff is here in weekdays until 5pm. Membership is required.

Negative experience: Very rude staff just joine this gym and staff very rude, they force you to join s the gym not offer any free trial as they said online, even my 7 day still starts after I join the gym and my money was taken out of my account even before that 7 days trial finish. Please don’t join this gym as I’m stuck with this gym now by joking the member ship for a month not worth at all. My scanning cards not working properly and staff disrespect me and ask me not to enter the gym when my card wasn’t working, so rude DONT STUCK WITH THIS PLACE WHERE STAFF IS SO RUDE! PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Positive experience: Needs a refurbishment but staff are really friendly. Ok number of machines. Not as good as some of the other Goodlife gyms.

Positive experience: Played Squash here. Courts are fine, but the viewing gallery is filthy and has no seating, no place to put your bags, nothing. Just really dirty and abandoned.

Negative experience: Very rude customer services! Before joint their membership they are very nice to get me to joint membership but after that everything completely change staffs and reception are very rude and unprofessional. Please don't go there if you don't want to have a bad expericness

Negative experience: Rachael was manager she was rude to me, she don’t know what she is talking about , already paid overdue amount still saying that she hasn’t received it, charged me again. Suggestion: if you want more people coming in your jym change the manger coz she have no manners
Positive experience: Disappointed! Just took over another family member's contract for 18 months and had to pay an admin fee $99. Shocking. Though Rachael, the customer service manager, said it was an Ezidebit fee but there was no earlier mention of it. Loyalty does not repay. There has been a change since I last posted the above review a few years ago. Goodlife Dingley has become more accomodationg, considered my loyalty as a member and now give me an annual membership with fairly good savings. The staff a lot more friendlier. Love to call it my home gym.

Negative experience: They said referral friend, will receive 28 days free, but after friend sign up and paied , then manager said no free days. They lie to members.
Negative experience: Worst customer service experience ever. This sales rep Aaron booked me for an apoointment to rejoin the gym . Left me unattended for 40 mintues to find out at reception that he is training a client so he cannot see me . Absolute waste of 1 hour .
Negative experience: Old equipment and it has limited machines for weight training. I only go because it's local. Don't really like the gym
