Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the gym... atmosphere is great staff are friendly and welcoming facility has a high level of cleanliness. Loads of machines for every part of my fitness and body chalange goals and there is even a sauna for relaxing in after an intense workout!

Negative experience: DONT RECOMMEND THIS GYM AT ALL, If I could give no stars I would happily, the manager here is awfully rude and the stuff tell you what you want to hear upon signing up then do not hold to there word when cancellation is needed, this has been an ongoing issue for me for 6+ months now with this gym with emailing back and forward and getting nothing but rudeness from the manager over the phone this gym needs new management!!!!

Negative experience: I called and confirmed over the phone and email that i am not going to extend my contract 3-4 months before my plan expires… after some time I realised money is going out from my account continue from goodlife Beenleigh.. I called again today to gym but they said they don’t have any idea about it that you have canceled or not .. such irresponsible staff.. when i asked to cancel again they said j will get charged for 1 month more then it will be canceled… They are big scammers .

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would. Management and staff here are incompetent and don’t follow through with their word upon cancellation of a membership. They take payment to cancel but use it for my membership instead - absolutely disgusting. Avoid this gym at all costs!!!!! I will be contacting the ACCC as this is theft - especially when we have an email that was sent 4 weeks ago CONFIRMING cancellation of the membership. Bloody idiots.

Negative experience: I told the counter girl it would be my last month she told me she would put that in the system. Now they're trying to get money off me. And are ringing and emailing me several times a week. (Not legal)

Fantastic experience: Love the Pump class here at Beenleigh. Good, solid weight training with Ashley. The time suits me. 9 am. Wednesday. I usually just go to Loganholme Goodlife and still do Monday am RIP class there with Anita. There is no way I could get that type of workout on the gym floor, by myself. I find the classes are motivating and challenging… all at my own pace.

Negative experience: GoodLife, you should be ashamed of yourself. You kept taking money out of my friends account when they asked you repeatedly to cancel the membership for over two months now. How can you take money from people that you don't earn is beyond me. Not happy to hear.

Negative experience: I called and cancelled my membership in December the guy said yes no worries that is all cancelled because I was told my membership was month to month than in March I realised I was still being charged $18 a week which at the time was the month to month fee, called again in March and apparently my membership had been changed to a yearly contract and if I wish to cancel than I would have to pay the $200 fee, even though they had been charging me for 3 months when I had been told it was cancelled. Honestly the owners/managers/salespeople are the biggest scammers, so untrustworthy and disloyal, the gym equipment is so old, the classes are poorly run, defiantly not worth the money and there are plenty of better gyms in Beenleigh! The staff were so rude when I explained to them the situation, honestly looking back I should've cancelled my card, cannot believe I tolerated them stealing my money. Please don't waste your time or money at Goodlife Beenliegh!

Fantastic experience: I'm loving the good vibes at Beenleigh Goodlife. The staff and fellow members are always friendly and encouraging and the gym has all the equipment I need. I love the Body Combat classes and of course the sauna to finish off. Highly recommend this club.
Negative experience: The music in this club is atrociously loud. I can hear it on top of my noise cancelling headphones which makes the training not the most enjoyable one. Everyone wears headphones so I don't think that level is necessary. Machines are not the best but ok I guess, and having the open floor in the middle of the gym made me uncomfortable training as a woman as everyone is just looking at you. Would be nice to have an area a bit more to the side so you can train in peace.
Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing, remarkable ability to feel welcomed and friendly staff. Very professional, great atmosphere and best environment to do a workout. I highly recommend to train here especially now with arena open to the the public. Awsome to train and focus on technique with bag and ground work. To top it off, got free boxing gloves for training. They notice and motivate you to keep going. Thanks to the staff and management for making it feel welcome to train. Osu!

Negative experience: Doesn't cater to metal head music lovers for music. The manager asked me to change my review and I changed it originally and then he still charged me membership when I got COVID and I couldn't use the gym while I was sick. So they didn't reimburse me, I just cancelled my membership and went somewhere else. They kept taking payments so I had to ring my bank to block them

For the managers to do absolutely nothing about it and let him get away with it. So girls watch out because it seems your personal information can be used by anyone to get your details to contact you. Will NEVER be coming to this gym or recommending it to anyone!
Negative experience: This is the worst gym and worst service I have ever experienced. I have just been diagnosed with a medical condition which has stopped me from being able work out I have sent them the relevant certification so that they can cancel my membership and they have stopped responding to me and keep charging me for my membership. They also charged me an extra $9.99 on top of my weekly instalment which is not a part of my contract. DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible gym horrible people

Negative experience: To manager - please pass this feedback to Andy and rest of the board members. Goodlife Beenleigh gym js : Dirty, Dark, Not enough light , No Alcohol Wipes, patches of plaster work - unfinished, Carpet all around gym stinks and disgusting, Staff don’t care as this is all out of their control - they can do whatever they can. Reception staff - no personality of customer service or basic knowledge of how to greet customers and how to build relationships with them. Please give them some training - it will help your gym and the staff for personal development. Please stop asking for referrals- if you don’t know what you doing then don’t ask as any for referrals and yes, I won’t recommend this to gym any friends and family. Tred mills and cross trainers - they are all falling apart. Weights : dirty, outdated Weight machines: dirty and most of them old equipments. Since, you removed the alcohol wipes people don’t care and they don’t use towels to keep it clean. Steam room- staff think leaving doors open every night is just good enough, no, it needs to be thoroughly clean out. People use this place without towels and leave paper towels behind. I have never been disconnected with gyms or self care in fitness but after I started using this gym I lost my passion and love for fitness. Therefore, I have cancelled my 13 years old gym membership. I will pay extra $$ somewhere else and hopefully, I will find clean gym and love for fitness again. Hope good life gym management will take some serious actions after reading this feedback. Good luck

Fantastic experience: I have been at Good life since its inception. So over all I was at Goodlife Dingley in Melbourne for the last 31 years. Relocated to Brisbane 3weeks ago and living in Eagleby now. I found Goodlife gym at Beenleigh to be the closet and began training there a week ago. My prognosis am very satisfied. It's well equipped and even have more equipment and weights than my former gym. Overall am real happy am glad I found your gym. Hoping to make this my regular centre long term as well. Props to you Goodlife Beenleigh ✅
Negative experience: I signed up for Goodlife Health Clubs with the expectation of a convenient, comfortable, and well-maintained facility. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that. The most recurring issue was the absence of soap in the shower facilities, which would often remain empty for up to a week. This basic hygiene requirement was frequently overlooked, despite multiple complaints from not just myself, but other members as well. In addition, there was a prolonged period of no hot water, adding to the inconvenience and dissatisfaction. Each time I raised these concerns, I received responses promising improvement, but no effective action was taken, despite the club management being fully aware of these problems. This continual disregard for member comfort and hygiene is not only unacceptable, it also constitutes a breach of the membership agreement. When I tried to terminate my contract due to these unresolved issues, my request was refused, and I was asked to pay a cancellation fee, which directly contradicts the terms of the contract that allow for termination without penalty under such circumstances. This lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for customer rights has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. Moreover, it seems I am not alone in these experiences. Many recent online reviews express similar grievances, particularly regarding difficulties with contract cancellation. I advise anyone considering joining Goodlife Health Clubs to bear my experience in mind, and think twice. This was a regrettable experience marked by a lack of care for customer service, hygiene standards, and adherence to their own contract terms.

Negative experience: Good luck getting out of your membership. My contract was for a year and should have finished this week. I called 2 Wednesdays ago to remind them of this (which I shouldn’t have to do) and they have said my last debit will come out 5 weeks from my phone call. Not only is the male Manager there an absolute nightmare and makes working out uncomfortable, nothing ever works for $22 a week! Including the toilet locks that were only just fixed after months of being broken and the machines they just remove instead of fixing or just keep as a statue with an out of order sign for weeks on end. So disappointed in the lack of customer support as a customer service representative myself. I shouldn’t have to pay for 5 more weeks when I am unable to attend. All they care about is money and trapping people in. For those looking for gym recommendations I have never had any issues with Jetts and they are very understanding of personal circumstances

Negative experience: Really disappointing how much this club has deteriated. Arena used to be the highlight for me but the format has changed and is now nothing much at all. The trainers are average with minimal encouragement or drive. I used to enjoy this class but not anymore. Save your money and go elsewhere if you are looking for a gym to join
Negative experience: I’ve been trying to cancel my membership since august as I was moving to a new gym, the staff member told me I only had to give 30 days notice as I was at the end of my contract anyway so o was like yep cool. Then after the 30 days money was still coming out of my account so I called and asked why and the same staff member told me she gave me the wrong info as my contract end date changed when I upgraded to do arena, annoying but fine I’ll just continue to pay until my contracts up. The same staff member then suspends my account without my approval !! When the payments started coming out again I called to ask why and The girl I spoke to was talking over me and by the end of it I just asked to speak to the club manager and was told he’s not in and I was like cool can you have him call mw back and she was like yes but he’s going to tell you the same thing and I’m like yeah cool I’d rather speak to him. A whole week and a half’s gone by and no phone call ! This place is an absolute joke. The club manager has no idea how to manage his team and provide them with the correct information to give to customers, therefore I’ll be taking this matter further with fair trade.
Negative experience: All staff are rude you say hi and they make you feel that you have disrupted them. Also got told they had 24 hour tags when I signed up and didn't get one for 3 months, they said you just have to be here at the right time and we don't know when we are getting them in. Over all communication in this gym is appalling

Negative experience: I’ve been with Goodlife for nearly 4 years now and requested to cancel my membership and spoke with Lucas, i have never experienced such horrible customer service. He was extremely rude towards me over the phone and made me feel extremely uncomfortable with the way he spoke to me, upon speaking to other ex members of Beenleigh Goodlife they also had nothing but negative things to say towards Lucas. I requested my letter of cancellation to show my new gym proof however Lucas refused to provide this to me. Definitely do not recommend this gym to anyone else as I would hate for other people to experience such rude and poor customer service!
Fantastic experience: Goodlife gym in Beenleigh has been great, clean, trainer's are welcoming, supportive, they keep track, and just a fun group of people to be around or ask questions. I'm really happy where I am, thank you Goodlife.

Negative experience: Great gym, but discriminating staff (the older guy). Came for the free trial but the guy said we weren’t allowed as we are staying at a camp site. Later i read the Terms and conditions, and it states all you need is, 1. Photo ID 2. Name/ age/ address/ phone number 3. Read and understand T&C’s 4. Read and agree waiver. The rest of the staff were lovely, especially the younger girl grace who apparently understands the company policy better than her superior.

Fantastic experience: Great service and super friendly stuff, always greeting me with a big smile. I'm just a yoga person, so I love my yoga practice at the studio. Steve is an excellent teacher and we all 'yogis' are 'friends' with big smiles and hugs. The cost is very affordable even for a pensioner like me. Great gym, but the people makes it even a greater place.

Even when I rang and told them The person in question don't have my consent .Very dodgy .I even rang the debit agency asking why they are making contracts to under age people .The contract has not been dissolved as of yet . Positive experience: It's alright. The gear seems slightly outdated and I've tried going at different times to see how busy it is. There seemed to be missing weights/dumbbells for a quiet part of the day.

Positive experience: Good selection of gym equipment, but I did an 8 week challenge and actually ended up putting ON weight!! There was only one boot camp a week, the rest was up to us to do on our own...no support or encouragement given by staff between bootcamps and they were very disorganised. The whole reason I paid for an 8 week challenge was because I was struggling to motivate myself!!

Positive experience: Gyms good, impossible to access during peak times as all the equipments taken. Everyone kind of minds their own business though when I go late. Has what you need for weight loss and strength building, not much in Calisthenics or ab workouts compared to their rivals (Snap, world gym). Only real negatives with the gym is cleanliness in the bathrooms, some of the members are disgusting and wreck the toilets. First day here and there was a hole in the wall and a locker ripped off. Gym fixed this though within a week and cleaners do maintain the place well.

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Goodlife Beenleigh! Due to Covid-19, I have been unable to fly home to South Africa, forcing me to (fortunately) stay here with my fiancé. The team at Goodlife Beenleigh has made me feel at home and every visit was the highlight of my day! The friendly smiles when you walk in - always willing to assist - helped me feel less isolated or foreign. Honorable mentions are Toni, Jasmin, Sienna & Bianca. It's Goodlife's handling of the reopening post-lockdown is admirable and the way they still proactively/constantly clean and sanitize. The two South Korean gentleman who replenish the sanitation wipes/stations, clean and wash the windows are to be commended. The trainers are also friendly and professional. The layout of the gym is adequate and the equipment is all well maintained. You can easily navigate and structure a proper workout - be it for weighlifting, bodybuilding, functional or cardio training. (yes, I am guilty of putting cardio last... )Regardless where you are in your fitness journey, beginner or advanced, Goodlife Beenleigh has it all! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
