Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! Its got great equipment, clean, and well taken care of. All the front desk employees and trainers are so sweet and always smiling. They have such positive energy make it feel like home away from home!
Negative experience: I decided to give this gym a try, and it was a huge disappointment. From the moment I walked in, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. I felt completely ignored and uncomfortable. It's clear they don't care about new members or making a good first impression. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won’t be returning. If you're looking for a gym with decent customer service and a friendly atmosphere, this is not the place.
Negative experience: Staff are con artist. Overpriced , over charged for a hotel gym. Staff are rude and ignorant.Wost snap fitness I’ve been too. They put a bad name on the whole chain. Avoid coming at all cost. Go down the road to world gym and save your money and time. A hotel gym run by heros real champion work.

Negative experience: decent gym was told to leave almost at the end of my session as i didn’t have a towel which is fine as it’s the rule. I had a tshirt with me but was told that’s not good enough for a towel, don’t really get how it’s any different it’s just a piece of cloth Soon as i questioned how the rules worked guy was pretty rude, don’t know if he had a bad day or just thinks he’s better than everyone because he works @ the gym, was told “it’s not up for debate”. Explained i only had a cable machine to use to finish my workout but apparently not having a towel would affect a machine only my hands touch even though a girl was using it with no towel. Surely you’d just allow someone to use the one bit of equipment that the towel is not needed for to finish then i was happy to leave, i think he was just being a jobs worth. Girls in there with no towels but didn’t see any of them asked, passed them and came straight for me. If he was scared of challenging females they should’ve have a female member of staff to help him. Rules are rules but implement them to every gender i wasn’t going to snitch on them & ruin their workout to.
Fantastic experience: Memberships are a little experience or require you to give lots of notice but overall it's a very nice gym with good equipment
Negative experience: I cancelled my membership on September 27th and according to the contract they should charge me for 30 more days but they charged me until October 31st. I emailed them a lot of times, they wouldn’t answer so I went to talk in person and the manager said “it is what it is”. “it’s less than 20 dollars” and “we do it with everybody”. They don’t even respect their own contract and make fun of it. They stole me and made fun of me because it’s just 20 dollars. It’s ridiculous.
Hey Lucas, Really sorry you feel this way about giving your 30 days notice. As explained in person when you joined and you then signed our terms and conditions that stated the cancellation policy. We tried our best to explain this to you via email and in person. Misquoting someone to justify your narrative unfortunately doesn't change this. Negative experience: I request you to order snap fitness surfer paradise to remove every sign about not allow people train without a towel. First because you can’t enforce people to do it, second because a towel can become a breeding ground for bacteria. The warm and damp environment they provide creates an ideal breeding ground for microorganisms, which can lead to unpleasant odors and potential health issues. Third, because you have wipe tissues. Forth, you have aircon which literally don’t let people sweat (what is not healthy). Fifth, because the law is over your rules. And last but not less, we pay for a service and an employee can’t denied us the entrance, if the service is denied it it could incur in a legal sue. In case that my request is dismiss I’ll take legal action and communicate this irregularity to the right local authorities.

Negative experience: I had a HORRIBLE experience with this gym! Let's go in part: The first problem was when I payed the first time, the attendant forgot to give me the Card that I should use to enter the gym, the next day I went to request the card and was told that I had already received it, but it wasn't true , and even so I was mistreated, until the attendant checked the system and saw that they hadn't really given me any card! The Second problem, I nominated 6 people in the system, which would give me the right to 12 free weeks, but today there was only one in the gym's system! The third problem, I had to travel and had an accident which caused my absence from the gym, and now when I returned I was treated very badly as if I had committed a crime! I don't recommend this gym to anyone and differently the beginning when I recommended several people, from now on I will tell no one to go!

As we explained in person we credit people two weeks free on their membership when people join the club, not just doing a day pass ( 3 day passes in total ) You had outstanding payments which we notified you several times via txt/email and in person and you said you were going to fix them all up but never did. Negative experience: Worst manager ever, doesn’t follow up to what he says, I don’t recommend this gym at all, don’t even try to invite your friends over or sign them up cause they gonna be enrol in such a bar customer service and make you pay fees for illogical stuff.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I had the great pleasure of working out at this gym over the weekend whilst on holidays. It is the cleanest gym I have ever been to and the cleaners were there on Sunday while we were there, and did an incredibly thorough job + they were very nice and respectful too. Great machines, well organised and spacious, and in a fantastic location also!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming staff. Well maintained and always clean. Lots of new equipment. They offer very affordable and comprehensive memberships. I am travelling and signed up for a month and was able to use it all along the coast while I was travelling northbound - all the way to Townsville. Ended up extending my membership for 4months.

Leaving children untended whilst you are training is a breach of this policy. The staff had to explain this to over 5 times which I believe is your frustration and hence you review. They create a clean, welcoming environment with chill vibes. This is a no-nonsense gym with plenty of equipment and floor area where people come to focus, work hard, and enjoy a drama-free workout experience. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Bad communication when giving membership details. They do not accept that they were the ones who were wrong.
Negative experience: bad experience came up to surfers for a holiday and thought i should go to the gym which i already have a membership for just not in surfers the access card worked to get in as i already had a membership but got kicked out straight away for “not having a membership” the employee didn’t give me an opportunity to show him any form of id to prove i was 16 to stay in and or show him my snap fitness membership overall will not be coming back

The reason you were asked to return during staffed hours is that we need to verify your identity with your home club, as you did not enter with a valid membership. We cannot contact your home club until they are staffed. Additionally, your review did not mention that you were with another person who had not scanned a 24/7 Access Card and was under the age of 16. According to the terms of membership, a member under the age of 16 can only access the facility with a legal guardian who is also a member over the age of 18. We take the security and safety of our members very seriously, and we make no apology for that. We suggest you speak with your home club to verify your access requirements. Outlined in the terms is the following: "Responsibility for supervision is solely that of the parent or guardian; therefore, children under the age of 16 cannot be left alone in a Snap Fitness club. If this occurs, staff will stop the child from exercising and make contact with the parent or guardian, requesting that the child be collected." Thank you for your understanding. Positive experience: it looks like a very popular gym, it was very crowded when I got there, but the machines are decent, even if not as good quality as the Coolangatta gym. I do prefer brighter locations as well, this one was on the dark side. otherwise, it has 2 Olympic platforms as well as a stretching and cardio area.
Negative experience: SOME THIEVES, I haven't been in the city for 4 months and they keep charging me (debiting my account every month)

Negative experience: After joining, I discovered the equipment I specifically stated at the outset I was joining for didn’t work properly. When I raised a complaint, I was told it was being replaced soon which is an astounding admission that they knowingly failed to maintain the equipment and knew it wasn’t working properly. It was never fixed to any acceptable standard so I cancelled after giving them about 3-4 weeks to try and resolve it and even though the cancellation was caused by Snap’s failure to meet their side of the contract, they still kept the $69 they charge for an “access pass”!! A change of mind cancellation would not justify a request for a refund of the pass but when you knowingly mislead customers and fail to meet your side of the deal, charging $69 for a piece of plastic is just downright dishonest. I’ve reported to ACCC but beware, emails from local team members were rude and dismissive of what I believe to be legitimate complaints.

I believe what you are referring to is that we are in the process of a refit to all our cardio, pin load and strength equipment. We do this so we have the cutting edge equipment and facility. Regarding the terms and conditions. We aim for transparency and fairness in all our dealings, and we apologize if you felt otherwise. The $69 "access pass" fee is a standard policy that covers administrative and setup costs, and is stated in the terms that this is non refundable , it wouldn't be refundable in a change of mind cancellation scenario. We reviewed all our communication, including emails and text messages, and found that our team was highly responsive and accommodating in assisting you with your fitness goals. We take pride in providing attentive and supportive service to our members to help them achieve their objectives. Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend signing up to this gym. When joining, they were all smiles and welcoming, and made many promises. However, when it came to cancelling they were very manipulative and misleading in their verbal and written contracts. The customer service became extremely rude and dismissive, not taking my questions and concerns seriously. Just after the money.

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym for nearly 2 years and by far it has been the best gym I’ve been too, the gym is so clean and organised with lots of space and windows around the gym which is a big thing compared to a gym underground with none, it is also by far the best snap I’ve been too even after travelling around Australia, but a huge plus is the fact you can go to any snap around the world and there are so many! I’ve enjoyed this gym so much, but I’ve also noticed how much stronger and lean I’ve got since I started training here which is such a good feeling Treve, Mikey and Sean are absolute legends, I haven’t met better people in a gym before, they created the best gym on the coast thank you ❤️

Negative experience: The most disrespectful staff ever seen at a Snap fitness gym starting from the staff to the manager (8.15am 15/05/23). I’ve Australia wide access and have been working out in various cities. Employees who were there at thar particular time demonstrated a work culture completely lacks accountability, blame shifting and apparently on power trips. Prefer to speak to the owner/franchisee of this gym.
Hi Sankha Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate as we are always striving to make the service at a high level for members as such we value it. Unfortunately as you access the club outside of staffed hours the Personal Trainer Team team where not able to assist you in charging your phone. The Personal trainers are contractors and don't have Access to keys to open the desk etc which is locked outside staffed hours. They are also doing one on ones with paying clients for the personal trainer contractor Service. So they are not able to assist as they are engaging in a professional service or setting up the service awaiting there client at certain times. In regard to you not having a towel, As part of the induction process you are alerted the the clubs rules which are the same across our network. These are displayed clearly at the front door at other sight points across the club. Please Access the club in our staffed hours and I can take you through another induction as this may of not of been highlighted to you at your home Snap Fitness Club where you joined. The community of members here make sure that the staff follow up on these rules in regard towels as it is a health and safety / hygiene issues. Also not using a towel on the damages equipment. Sorry again for the experience this is not what myself and the team want it to be. Management

Negative experience: They made advertisement for 1 month free and no joining fees...we called to double check they confirmed that! they confirmed that the only condition was to sign up for the next month's...when we went there they asked to pay 69 dollars as joining fees!! Which is so disappointing...that s misleading advertising and not honest at all how can I trust a venue doing that
Fantastic experience: Snap Surfers Paradise is fantastic! Friendly staff and great selection of equipment. It's on the tram line too so travelling to get ripped is easy. Clean, professional, and fun. Get on it!
Fantastic experience: I've been with Snap Fitness for almost 4 years now. The fact that I can go to any Snap branch in anywhere is great, especially when going to one that is as amazing as this one. I go to the Gold Coast pretty much every year and I'm glad I can go to this one whenever I come I think my home Snap club in Brunswick Victoria is the best, and this one is just as good. I like the new location. The equipments are very well taken care of and the space are optimally used.

Negative experience: Useless managers, were unable to explain their offers which were written on the website,were vulgar and after they said "if you don't like, go to another place". Tattooed guy was especially terrible. They are not oriented on clients. The worst personnel

Negative experience: Unfortunatly the gym was nice however to much airconditioning, and when you ask for it to be turned off for 5 minuts just for the squats exercise "didnt wanna get a cool or sick" the girl at the reception responded , well you should work out faster maybe you wont be cold

Positive experience: Spa, Sauna, swimming pool and lockers need to be added. You've already got all the equipments, big space inside, toilets down stairs. massive car park space, 24/7 access, In heart of surfers paradise. I see if you have the needed stuff will be number one ever. I know you can motivate and be number one. My feed back to you cuz i love this place.. best regards.

Negative experience: Cramped, smelly and underwhelming - Go to Snap Fitness Miami instead. Im a huge fan of the Snap brand but this is not the brands best set up. Its in Surfers so be prepared for the muscle bound gym hero's. Average selection of cardio equipment and very little room for stretching or core work out. And its smelly. Better places to go for a work out, however if you want to a 45 min smash session then it'll work just fine
Fantastic experience: Great Team! Been there for about 3 years now, and highly recommend to anyone, whatever skill level or discipline. Especially if you're like me and lose desire to really push yourself sometimes. Looking forward to the good times ahead!
Negative experience: The gym is way overpriced $17 a week when you can go to fitness first for $20 and EVERYTHING is so much better you are getting a five start experience from fitness first when you walk through the door. The gym itself snap fitness is filthy, no lockers, small, a dingey shower in the shopping centre toilets and they stink. Really needs a upgrade.
Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, has every equipment you need for a great price of membership. The staff are even better and always welcoming. 10/10 service, definitely recommend to anyone on the Gold Coast!
Fantastic experience: I love this place. Nice equipments and always clean. They have a rooftop gym that you can use for some outdoor activities. They also offer some free group fitness classes, which is great by the way. The staff is super friendly. Jessica is simply amazing! Always helpful and kind. If you are looking for a real good PT that will keep you motivated and in shape, you should definitively hire her!
