Alpine Indoor Climbing (Robina)

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome bouldering gym. Fair prices, good tunes, great coffee, friendly climbers and a great variety of climbs to suit everyone. Santiago made us feel very welcome and even allowed for our dog to chill inside. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am a very average climber but do thoroughly enjoy each time I visit Alpine Robina. The Staff are welcoming and friendly aswell as all customers that attend Alpine. There is a positive atmosphere and not at one point do you feel like you don’t belong. I applaud this business for creating there stella reputation that they 100% deserve.

Fantastic experience: After living in South-East Queensland for a couple of years and visiting a few bouldering gyms, Alpine Robina is still my favourite. Fantastic vibe and consistently varied, challenging, approachable route setting. Don't let the small size trick you! There's plenty to get out of a regular session here.

Fantastic experience: Great bouldering gym with friendly staff and some really interesting boulders to tackle. Two things to note tho is that they only allow liquid chalk, and it is on the smaller side.

Fantastic experience: I bought a delicious coffee here and watched the climbers having so much fun. Even people like me with no upper body strength can do it!

Negative experience: Plan well…. I have climbed there once before and it was fun. BUT I brought my 9 year old who climbs on the Sunshine Coast at another gym in the kids advanced class and ran into the no climbing under 10 years old policy. Was told it was the policy and waited for a few moments for a ‘but’ or a ‘because’ and or whatever. But that was the end of the sentence - so we went to Core and climbed there quite happily.

Fantastic experience: Have been climbing here for a while, really great routes. I think the overhang section here is unlike any other climbing gym I have been to. People of all levels can give this overhang section a shot which makes it really fun for everyone new or experienced. I think other climbing gyms that I have been to on the gold coast/brisbane such as urban climb or 9 degrees do not have a section like this, which is what sets Alpine apart! I also feel like because the gym is smaller, the quality of the routes is better. Plus everyone is really friendly. Really recommend!

Positive experience: Great place, friendly staff, I'm used to much taller walls but this one is about the same size walls as a standard room - ish. Still a bit of fun, family friendly but can get a bit crowded so pick your times.

Fantastic experience: Usually go to the one in Currumbin, but absolutely love the amount of variety this place has. Not having climbed it before I felt like I had 20 problems I could jump straight into and had so much fun. Soph also helped me out heaps!

The climbs are meticulously crafted to suit everyone with high quality, regular resets. Will always be coming back to Alpine :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been climbing at alpine for a few months now and i love it, I'm glad I've found this little community. All the climbers and staff are super friendly and encouraging. The routes get reset regularly which keeps it interesting, and there is a good mix if grades.

Clean holds that are given a refresh regularly. Amazing staff who are an absolute pleasure to be around and welcome you with open arms. Honestly, there are so many positives for this gym, i’d have to write an essay to put it all into words. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love alpine. I can’t imagine climbing anywhere else. The facility is beautiful and the community makes it even better. It’s great for beginners intermediates and even experts looking to push their skill. And there is never an old climb with the frequent route setting. Keep up the great work and coffee

Negative experience: 1. This place is really small…climb holds are dirty，liquid chalk only. I don’t understand why so much good reviews. Their overhang looks dangerous as well. 2. All the gym I have been to provide free chalk this one doesn't. Their own brand chalk is bad(Alpine) don’t buy.

Fantastic experience: This climbing gym has the sickest crew, set up and atmosphere. They change the routes frequently and there's a broad range of levels to try yourself on. I really recommend to try it, whatever level you have in climbing, it is worth spending a good time with the ret of the customers, listening to great playlists and having a good coffee

Fantastic experience: This is (for me) the best bouldering gym in south east queensland. The setting for all grades is really well done and the quality of climbs far exceeds any other bouldering gym. Great angles, great holds and great people. Their roof/cave section with long boulders is always a stand out. New quailty climbs all the time with their weekly resets. The place to be in summer with their air conditioning too.

Positive experience: Great staff but very small compared to Core Climbing. Blocks seems harder to me. A very experienced friend told me this is for more advanced climbers, and I'm beginner, so for now I'll stay at Core. Practical to go when Core is closed though.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and heaps of fun. Caters to all abilities with climbs graded and clearly marked from easiest A1 to hardest A8. You can pay for a casual climb or join up as a member if you want to go regularly. There are new climbs added every week, which are always a good mix of challenges from the excellent route setters. Liquid chalk only, you can buy it there, and shoe hire is also available. Head in and top some climbs!

Fantastic experience: Great facility! Clean, staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Even at busy times, you can always find a place on the wall to practice. There’s occasionally a dog or two about which is unexpected but appreciated all the same. Staff 10/10 Facilities 10/10 Dog Pats 11/10

Haven't climbed for 20 yrs so was nice to be pushed just a little but still gain back some confidence. Definitely worth a visit whether you have never climbed or have had heaps of experience.

From the first time coming here I have LOST WEIGHT, gained MUSCLE and CONDITIONING. I found it CHALLENGING at the start to climb the walls but over time it is a new and REWARDING CHALLENGE everytime, never gets tedious or boring. FULL BODY WORKOUT. GET STRONG
