Anytime Fitness Kallangur

Fantastic experience: Where do I start. I have only just recently signed up at Anytime Kallangur and I already feel like I've been training here for years. Right from the get go I knew this was going to be a great Gym. The staff are forever welcoming and always greet members with a big smile. The staff at "AFK" have gone above and beyond to make this gym a clean, safe and friendly environment and it is reflected onto all the members I have crossed paths with aswell. I highly recommend this Gym to anyone who is wanting to start, continue or further improve their skills/fitness and come down to meet the team. You will soon discover just how great the environment is. Always a pleasure training. Big shout out to the Manager Luke aswell. I specifically want to thank you for doing an amazing job with providing great information, feedback and some helpful tips to better enhance my performance. On ya Lukey :)

Negative experience: The staff member with the orange hair was extremely rude. I asked to do a free trail at this gym but because I do not live in kallangur she would not allow it. I explained that I work in kallangur 4 days of the week and the other 3 days I'm at the Petrie university which makes anytime fitness kallangur the closest and most convenient gym for me. Regardless of the fact that I live in a different suburb I am barely ever at home as my favourite aunt lives just a 5 minute walk from the kallangur anytime fitness and after my uni classes I go to her place for afternoon tea before going home. The staff memeber told me it would be a $25 dollar free to be able to use the gym for a day and since I was already there I paid the $25 free but less than an hour into my workout the evacuation alarms went off and we were all evacuated. So it's a $25 free to use the gym for a day and yet after paying the fee I only got to use the gym for less than an hour. I was not offered any refund for the inconvenience either. If you're wanting more people to take interest in your gym maybe you should be more welcoming and inclusive towards people who are genuinely taking interest in signing up.

Negative experience: nice clean please. staff are very rude i’ve been charged double for my membership when i’ve shown proof of me paying and the money being taken out of my account and they’ve still charged me $100 and put me in bad credit

Fantastic experience: I like going to this gym. The equipment is first class and easy to use. The location makes it easy for me to get a workout in before I have to start my day.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym it’s a really nice place to workout in. I was really anxious before joining, however having belle as my pt made it a lot easier. She’s so friendly and it’s so fun working out with her. She’s also really good at what she’s doing.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym, it has such a comfortable feel to it and has such a loving community. The PT there, Belle is outstanding. She knows what she is doing and radiates so much positivity in that gym. She makes you feel confidant and is always going above and beyond to help her clients better themselves and achieve their desired goals. Everybody needs a Belle at their gym.

Negative experience: A Hard push and presssure for sales and not flexible at all in terms and fees. For some reason we have to come in to find out how much it costs, they can't tell us over the phone or online. Gym looks nice, with good equipment. If you can afford it, I'm sure its a perfect place to workout.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are every so friendly , always have a smile and are always willing to offer assistance, the best fitness family anyone could ask for. Currently nearly 7 months into my fitness routine and I feel happier and healthier than I ever have , with severe back injuries I have worked along side my personal trainer Jack who has helped me build not only confidence but muscle and strength so I can continue my daily routines. My back is the strongest it’s been in a long time all thanks to my trainer jack , working with me and showing me the correct ways to lift and pull heavier items and objects , I feel so blessed to be able to work alongside some who understands the strength and weakness some people have.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, clean amazing gym. Staff are always very helpful, approachable, encouraging and they are the nicest people. Its the place to be. I would highly recommend Anytime Fitness @ Kallangur, it’s got an awesome atmosphere, so many different age groups. There are NO baariers

Fantastic experience: Honestly best gym I’ve ever gone to (and only one I’ve ever gone to). This place has helped me and my own Father so much mentally and physically on our journeys with weight loss, I’ve already lost 20kg this year with 10kg more to go! (Dads lost 40kg!!). A huge amount of cardio machines and strength + weight training machines, you never have to wait because there’s so many to try out. Gotten so much motivation just by the atmosphere of the place, great music, lighting, and just the general feeling of being in that place, let alone the kind and positive words from people working there. Will continue to use this gym 100%

Negative experience: New members beware..... Loss of employment..... If you cancel your agreement and send them notice it's the usual story all these gyms come up with. They won't accept it and threaten you with collections action. Disgusting behavior during these tough tmes

Fantastic experience: To all of the gyms Ive been to after the pandemic. anytime fitness Kallangur is on top of the list with multiple hygiene stations to clean and wipe down equipment. As well as great facilities to work out with ease.

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience at that club, its harder to get out of that GYM MEMBERSHIP THAN TO GET A DIVORCE. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!! Nicole is super deceiving and not trustworthy they will ask for your credit card info and just take out your money! hope they don't have my details..

Fantastic experience: Genuinely awesome place. Started coming when they were just a little gym on Anzac Avenue and the place - now situated in the Lillybrooke shopping centre - is a ginormous monster of a gym with a fair range of quality equipment including a few pieces I've never seen at previous gyms. Honestly no idea how to use some of them and never asked because I tend to stick to free weight. Staff are chill and knowledgeable. I got personal training years before I came here so can't comment on that. Couldn't hurt to give it a crack if that will help towards your own personal goals. Come check it out. Move some heavy things around then put them back once you realise they looked nice where they were on their rack. Or go for a run on a treadmill where you won't be sucking exhaust fumes.

Negative experience: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone looking for a safe space to workout without feeling judged or like you shouldn't be there, to look elsewhere. When I voiced my concerns with Nicole, the manager. I didn't feel like it was taken seriously. In fact, she seemed to deflect anything I said and towards the end of our discussion she accused me of judging HER when I told her I didn't feel comfortable continuing this matter with her. It is NOT OK for members to feel judged or uncomfortable in any aspect. Absolute lack of accountability, integrity and professionalism from staff here. Please be aware that if you do have concerns regarding staff or members, that it'll be pointless addressing it with them. Save yourself the hassle, and look at other AF branches or 24/7 clubs *currently ongoing*

Negative experience: They don’t like to answer their phone and as usual with gyms have gross business practices. Edited to 1 star: after I left a 3 star review the gym called me to harass me about leaving a “dishonest” review. I am allowed to review your business as poorly as I want. 1 star for disgusting staff behaviour. Fantastic experience: This is one of the best gyms I have been to in 40 years of training. I have retired from the Defence Force and used nearly every defence gym in Australia. Anytime fitness at Kallangur compares favourably to all of them. A large gym with plenty of open spaces so you don't feel hemmed in. Always friendly staff and the clientele are not intimidating. Nicole and her team do a great job and they certainly have my business and therefore my health and well-being into the future. Five star

Positive experience: Good equipment and large size. Only problem is the power supps "crew" that seem to gather at random times and take over the place while being obnoxious about it. The Griffin anytime offers a much more welcoming experience.

Fantastic experience: Love training at this Anytime! Not a member at this club but have popped by to train when in Kallangur and I absolutely love it. It’s HUGE, offers fun group fitness classes for free and the staff are always super friendly.

Negative experience: This appears to be a well set out gym however, I will unlikely sign up here. I had booked an appointment to sign on for membership and PT training unfortunately the Staff had rostered on "staff training". Subsequently, the staff were too busy to take on new members contrary to me having an appointment. When I approached the area manager about the issue I was turned away. The area manager refused to take responsibility for the lack of organisation and protested that a "casual" had made a mistake and it was not her mistake. Should the owner decide to fix the reliability issue I would be willing to try the gym in the future as the gym looks nice and is close to my home. For the meantime I will look for a more professionally run gym.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I signed up to AF Lillybrook a few days ago. We haven't had a full proper workout session as yet but from what I have experienced so far regarding friendly/approachable staff, affordable fees, a range of different machines & equipment, clean floors/amenties, security through out the premises, great music to pump to, snack vending machine, clean kitchen facility, lounge and the positive vibe I feel after walking thru the door... That deserves 5/5 . Cannot wait to start seeing personal results/goals. Thankyou Amanda and Alli for making us feel welcome to be apart of the AF famz!

I've never once felt judged and the Personal Trainers are always willing to give a helping hand!. The gym is well maintained with clean amenities always!!! Fantastic experience: I used to train here before renos took place was about average , I now live in the south east Brisbane but love coming to train at Kallangur every chance I get , the renovation have made this gym pop , club is great now one of the best in Brisbane , love the little chill vibe with lounge fridge and even a microwave , and the range of equipment is next level , it’s a must

Fantastic experience: I've been at this gym for over a year now, and it's the best gym I've ever been to. There's a huge variety of machines and equipment to use, and it's always been very clean and spacious. I always receive a lovely welcome every time I'm there, and they also offer a different variety of classes - free of charge. The PT's there definitely know what they're doing, leaving me feeling pumped, sore, but stronger every time. Also, and the nutritional guide I've received from the nutritionist there has been so insightful.
